I ended up wanting it a little tighter around the legs after the first go through and they took it back in no problem. Todd Abplanalp: I ordered a custom suit and shirt from Tom and I was very pleased with the result. The design process was really fun and informative, and Tom helped me decide what would look the best based on the uses I will have for the suit. I don't know much about clothing and these were my first custom items, but they really helped take the mystery out of the process and I had a great time picking out materials. The product was promised for delivery in 3-5 weeks but was ready in less than 4 weeks. It fit perfectly and required no additional alterations. I bought an "entry level" suit and shirt but the quality of what was provided is really outstanding, much better and more comfortable than any other suit I've owned. His staff is very helpful as well. I also really appreciated that the pricing was straightforward with no hidden extra fees that might have stacked up based on the level of customization I preferred. I got everything I wanted down to the stitching and buttons and it was all included. Honestly the price wasn't much more than an off-the-rack suit at a pretty standard store like Banana Republic or JA Bank, and less than the designer stores. Overall it was a really fun experience, very much worth it. I'm looking forward to going back.

Edward Jones II: I was very disappointed in the quality of my shirt. The black in the shirt seemed to be faded and wasn’t as dark as I would’ve liked. When I called back to discuss the let down of the shirt, the employee told me it was nothing they could do and THEN suggested vinyl, which I wish they would’ve told me before. They get two stars because although I was very disappointed in the shirt they do get back to you when you reach out. They were very helpful as I began the process, just wish my shirt would’ve came out in better quality.

Not this time , so before I go into what happened I would like to have someone who is higher the the rude young lady who said she was the store manager. After asking to speak to her supervisor she stated that would be the owner and he doesn’t get involved with stuff. Well to whom it may concern you would do well to contact me in regards to this situation. I will refrain from posting anything yet other than the store “ manager “ at the Skyview store was not very representative of the great service I have had in the past. Patty: Amazing capability to take an everyday photo, take the motorcycle off it, flip it around, and put on a tshirt with a US flag back ground that Big Frog provided. The patience of Aaron & Phil the owner was also amazing since I'm very picky. This shirt was a gift but once he finds out we can put a pic of our bike on the shirt, I'm sure we'll be back for more. All the time spent, place on a good quality Gilden 3X was $34. Thank you Big Frog!

Wren Hayes: Got a couple of shirts made here and the prints are pretty high quality, they have lasted a few washes and are still looking good. The folks who work here are doing their best to be fast and friendly, and are knowledgeable about their print process and can help you know what will turn out good and what won't.
Yamily Hakime: NOT Military friendly! they will not work with you. I called to make a change to 1 of the shirts ordered out of 24. The change would not change the price nor holt their progress as it was to simply add the title “BDE SARC” under the name already on the design. I would understand their reluctancy in making a Change if they were already working on the shirts but shirts ordered were not yet received in their store. Our experience in this store was very disappointing and do not recommend them.
Mak Kells: I was coming into store looking to order about 300 shirts for my company possibly and another 15 for personal, i called ahead of time ask if needed appointment and was told no. I stopped in a girl was with a customer, no problem but she told me her manager be with me in just a minute. I waited 15 min looking out of place just waiting by door. I get customer service but nothing else was said. After waiting I asked if was a better time the same girl said maybe 10 min, which now to me she knew it would be that long to begin with should of said that to begin with. So I left an called as O want to make sure I dont wast a trip back up to the store, the girl answers phone says manager is busy what can she do, I know how this goes I am a manager an tell my people the same thing. Then I said I was told she would be back then magic manager comes on phone, acts like cant hear me, then she goes to say have to help customers first so she didnt even hear me say that here person knew it would be awhile, manager days she has a digestive issue ect, poor manager, poor representative at the front to give accurate info an timing, taking my business elsewhere. Dnt waste your time with this place

The store hours make it really hard for people that work all day to make it in time and I have unfortunately arrived at the store barely when it just closed twice.First day I got measured I was in and out in 5 minutes. Maybe the person helping me was that good but he just seemed careless throughout the process of taking measures. Maybe I had high expectations of what getting tailored made clothes should be but certainly expected more attention.Second time around it took a second for people to even acknowledge that we were at the store (on their phone) but even then the demeanor of the people helping was the same.No one built any sort of rapport with the customer at all and it was literally like I was a customer paying a toll in a highway.Onto the next one. Will definitely not be back nor recommend.

Don’t waste your money

CHASITY BROWN: Where do I even begin with this company? They have gone above and beyond for 3 seasons now! We coach two softball teams, each with different colors, sizing, and designs. Andrew Painter works with me for weeks on designs. Never bats an eye when I request something different. Their prices are competitive and quality is the same. We had only 1 hiccup with our very first order but Andrew was quick to resolve the issue. We obviously couldn't find shorts to match so we ordered a 2nd pair of pants and used a local seamstress to dock them into shorts and they turned out perfect.Original ordering took about 4 weeks, I believe! Fall season we ordered a few more pants and uniforms for our new kiddos with a 2 week turnaround time. If I could give 10 stars, I would. great company.

Andrea Talbert: I have used River City T's in two capacities; for business and for pleasure. I am really surprised by the comments list above because I have only had good experience with this company. I began using them about three years ago, and to date I am really satified. Each time I contact Chris he is very responsive. The quality of the shirts are a plus as well. I would recommend River City T's to anyone looking for quality shirts!
Anthony Banks: They have horrible customer service, you ask them a question and they give you a short answer to hurry you off the phone. You tell them black shirt with White Lettering EASY RIGHT. You ask them if length of words or word count matters on T shirts they say no. Then you get ready to make the purchase and you explain to them the shirts are all 3 words in length and one word is different on each one. They then tell you they can't do it. Even though you have the every single T shirt done in a pdf. file. All they have to is print the shirts off no hard work at all. I feel if your going to purchase 100's of dollars worth of T-shirts that could have most likely could have turned into a local t shirt contract for us, they might take the extra to hit print a couple more times for each screen. There loss I hope no one else tries to go through this company and gets lied to as well. Fair warning the website doesn't say every shirt purchased has to have the same writing, no where at all does it say that.

Jacob Hastert: One of the worst experiences in men’s wear I have ever had. Ordered a suit and was told it would be 3 weeks by the time it came in. Never came and when I called they said it would be another 3 weeks. This proceeded to happen for another 4 times. NEVER SHOP HERE.
Jared Peterson: These guys were awesome! Got all our suits in a timely manner and the team was great along the way. Bruce even pulled off a Hail Mary for us week of wedding. Had a groomsman back out last minute 7 days before the wedding. We went into Slabotskys Tuesday prior to the wedding on Saturday. Ordered the suit with a 2 day over night rush. Suit showed up Thursday got it fully tailored and picked up Friday for the wedding Saturday with my backup groomsman. Everything about this place was great and they made me wish I wore nicer clothes like this on a more frequent basis. Will definitely be coming back here when I want some nice outfits! Can’t say enough good things.
John Breland: Horrendously poor quality. I bought a sport coat yesterday. The fabric split all the way down the back after the first time I wore it.
Cameron Rogers: Slabotskys is the absolute go to for any suit, clothing, or tailor needs. The team there is an absolute pleasure to work with and incredibly professional, especially Bruce. Bruce is super kind and compassionate and went above and beyond getting me everything I needed for my wedding.To put it into perspective, I paid around $190 for my suit. For a friend's wedding, I had to pay $300 FOR A RENTAL. Not to mention the suit from Slabotskys fit like a DREAM and is good quality.

Shelby Philbrook Mayse: Cannot recommend them enough!!! With their wedding package, your groom & anyone else who needs a suit can get theirs, fully tailored, for and absolutely insane value. The quality was incredible, service was absolutely amazing, and they were true to their word regarding timelines. As a warning, they do not take appointments and weekends get pretty busy. I recommend going during the week! But 1000% recommend for any groom/groomsmen needs!

Leah Berg: rented suits/tuxes. They never fit very well and we obviously didn’t get to keep them. I was shocked, and skeptical when I found out there was a local business that offered reasonably priced suits everyone could keep. Throughout our process of acquiring the suits, the staff and owner(s) at Slabotskys treated us as well as I could’ve asked. I always saw the same familiar faces when I came in, and they were always happy to answer my questions. We didn’t need any last-minute alterations or fittings, but they assured me they could make it work if we needed them. They offered two last-minute fittings if we had anyone from out of town, but luckily we didn’t need to take advantage. The suits were very affordable, around $200 for a three-piece suit and shirt, but everything was very high quality. My husband seriously can’t wait to wear his suit the next chance he gets. Everyone looked fantastic in their suits and were shocked they got to keep them. I cannot recommend Bruce and his business enough.

Kendra Stiles: I decided to hire them to hem a gown for a formal work event even though I'd heard the prices were high (true). I had a mermaid gown with a handkerchief hem that fit beautifully everywhere — but it was much too long. When I went in, they pinned it up near the bottom. I took it home and tried it on after the alteration, and the dress was now extremely ill-fitting. Apparently they hemmed it from below the bust line instead of from the bottom because the hem at the bottom was too complicated; which then caused the part that was supposed to sit at my hips to now sit at the waist. And the hips were now crammed into what was formerly the tapered area closer to the knees.I took it back in and asked the seamstress if that's what she did and explained why it was so ill-fitting now, and she said she wondered about that when she was working on it. So I'm really at a loss as to why she did it anyway.To their credit, they did fix it in time for my event and reduced the fee (only after I asked them to). In the end, the service was provided; it just came with too much added stress and frustration. I'll go elsewhere next time.Service:Alterations

They almost tripled their price and their service time. $33 for a 3-week wait (!!) for one pair of pants. I am empathetic to economic factors, but that’s unacceptable to me. Found a place in north Kc, less than half the cost and less than a week.

Unfortunately, some time ago i paid about $320 to have 12 white sheer gauze panels (for 2 sets of sliding glass doors) hemmed to 108”. They were ALL uneven; kinda embarrassing since i have dark wood floors so it’s obvious. I called and they told me to bring them back in but i never did. Took longer thank what i was originally quoted, had to keep calling to check, then having to take them down (replace with plastic for privacy) and wait again was not convenient. Felt ripped off.

Sicc DiCarlo: Convenient location and friendly staff, got an up front quote and they seem to be pricey. $25 to get suit pants cuffed, $40 to shorten sleeves on a suit jacket. I have 17 suits to get alterations but ill probably seek out another tailor or seamstress. I left 10 pairs, we will see how happy I am with the work for the price in about 10 days when they say the job will be complete. Update to come... starting to think I'd have been better off with a sewing machine and a youtube tutorial
WC Monroe: Overpriced and not transparent about pricing. They stated one price and charged me for several other things that were “separate alterations.” Just would have been nice if they would have actually explained that up-front. Definitely not worth their high prices compared to other places that do amazing work, too.
