Artist & Craftsman Supply Kansas City: what do users think?
Jenna Munoz: Great shop for canvas/paint/sketch, but not a ton of fabric art supplies
Janet Wheeler: Staff knowledgable and helpful. Love this place.
Rebecca Weller: Anything and everything one would need for arts and crafts!
Arthur Mayo: Hell yea
Rick Hays: Great art store. Prices compare with other stores around. Love to see one up north. I do recommend this shop.
Ryan Pearce: Great knowledgeable staff. Awesome selection. Decent prices. If you’re looking for Montana pain you’re at the right place here!
Braden: They close at like 6:45 not 7
Skye De La Rosa: I stumbled upon this place while on a walk exploring the beautiful murals and graffiti in the neighborhood. The store was a nice surprise and I was able to get everything I needed for an upcoming watercolor class. These were items that were out of stock when I tried to order online from the major competitors. The prices are comparable but the fact that I could find what I needed was a huge plus. Cute neighborhood too!
Andrew Machen: Great art store with an impressive watercolor supply collection.
Susan Flower: My favorite art supply store in KC!
Victoria Restrepo: Support local shops!! Keep em in business. I love this place with all my heart!!
Paul Hagler: Friendly staff, always have what I need.
Christie Delcastillo: This is one of the best craft stores I have been to!! They have the largest selection of single stock pens, colored pencil’s, and markers of any store I have found in KC.
Andrew beach: Maggie was the absolute best! I am an artist who has been out of the loop for a while and she had no hesitation on showing me products and the advantage/disadvantage to them. She was honest and extremely personable never making me feel weird about asking questions. Thanks arts and craftsman supply, that's why I always come back.
Kristiebuddy123 Novak: By far my favorite store! Quality of everything is way better than box stores like hobby lobby or micheals. I find when I buy Quality it lasts longer.. when I buy cheap supplies I have to buy them often.. so I choose A&C the staff is always helpful and super kind!
Cathy Henderson: Love this store ❣️
Jessie Ggreen: Edit: Thank you for helping fix the situation Carlos!
adam eisman: this place is amazing, they have everything you need for creating whatever you want!
Jennie :Ingram: Good selection of quality artist supplies and quirky fun gifts
Ja Morris: They have Everything, and the staff are super friendly and helpful.
amanda hewitt: Reliable supply of high quality art supplies.

Michaels: what do users think?
C Beltramo: Lovely
Nanette Wolf: Good selection of inventory, store was clean & neatly organized. Employees were friendly.
Jamie Brizendine: Box store with good natured employees. Used to recommend.Prices are out of control! Oracle 651 is 3.99 at Walmart. It's 8.99 here. Their overhead isn't worth the markup.Save money. Shop elsewhere.
Susie: They don't have the greatest selection on jewelry supplies. Their selection of resin and soap supplies leaves much to be desired as well.
jim lewis: Staff was very helpful and nice.
Noevia Ramirez: Love it
Chad Smith: The store is well stocked. The staff are very helpful and friendly.Getting the Michael's app is worth saving on most purchases.
Mary Austin: Love this place
Robin Unger: Went to find paint to touch up my wrought iron bistro, krylon color max primer+paint in Gloss Banner Red will do the trick! Then I needed white paint to touch up my ceramic turtle yard ornament, trying deco art glass paint, hoping for good coverage. Micheal's had good selection to fit my needs, store was very clean and organized. I could have saved 20% by ordering on line but I shopped in store
Milady Peters (Gr8typist): The staff was very helpful
Kyle Lawson: Love this place for framing photos. They often do a buy one get one free so the prices are great when they run this sale. Everything was easy to find, the store was clean, and the staff was kind.
Steven White: Had what I needed.
Flo: I love it there. The Staff is very helpful
John Lewman: My happy place.
Virginia Wilson: Jamee was a wonderful checkout person. I appreciated the kindness and consideration
Mike Radabaugh: They have great stocked shelves. But music is to techno.
Ashley Searcy: Probably my favorite store! This store is always so clean and organized. I can generally do a one stop shop here for my art supplies.
William Tate II: Store layout is a bit outdated and scattered. Could use an update. Otherwise clean store with polite staff.
Mirena Briggs: There is always a good selection and always a sale. There are always coupons too, but usually what your want is already on sale.
Cavin Bardi: Has a lot that I like to get for my "Artsy" projects, prices are pretty good, sometimes things are on sale, sometimes they don't have what I need, but I can't expect that every craft store will have the things I want. I'm just kinda weird in my crafting anyway. Lol they're a great place to get things for crafts.
Levita Level: Selection is good, staff are very kind!

JOANN Fabrics and Crafts: what do users think?
Russell Primeaux: Alrighty then .
Michele Evink: The staff was genuine and helpful. In contrast to some other locations I've been to, this group actually cared and was helpful. So nice!
Sophia A: I always have such a great experience when I come here and find everything I need and more. I was in-and-out quickly with exactly what I needed but wanted to take the time to say thank you for people working there, like Wren. He is one of those special people you meet right away and know he is such a kind, generous, sweet human being. He made my whole day during my short little run. Thank you for being a part of the team!! :)
Mallory Fergason: I always have some of the best customer service experiences here. Their cashiers are always so kind - my recent shop there I was checked out by Wren who really brightened my day ☀️
Gloria LaFollette: Dirty, especially the bathroom. Outdated pattern books and the pattern drawers are almost empty.
Angie Zacharias: Always have what I need and more. CRAFTERS paradise.
amanda: I love joanns they have the best staff.
Kendra Young: Long lines
Michelle Marshall: This place has changed. It is a lot more than fabrics now. It is more like hobby lobby with all sorts of craft materials. I went to get paint brushes for pottery. They were buy one get one free! I spent $5 dollars and got 2 decent glaze brushes. The quality is better than other cheap brushes I have used.
Stacey Marie: The selection at this store was marvelous. It did seem that they are always running a 40% off special of some sort, considering the seasonal decor is overpriced. For the most part, the store was well organized. The bathrooms were not cleaned, but it was a Sunday and they were clearly short staffed with a very packed house. I do not recommend going on the weekend. There was 2 checkouts going...about a half hour in line. They do offer online ordering and in store pick up for 25% off. I will go back on a less busy day.
playalots: I’ve been going to this JoAnn location for years and there’s always this wonderful Hispanic gentleman that helps us out all the time. No matter of how busy or hectic it is the store, he is always pleasant and has a smile on his face.He lets us know of any good deals and coupons that are available and is very knowledgeable about the products. Besides the broad fabric selection, he’s the reason I keep coming back. We need more workers like him.
Walt S: Lots of sketch art supplies. Very knowledgeable staff when asking about different products. They even directed me to a coupon that saved me 60% today.
Teresa C: Plenty of everything. Not a lot of service. It seems everyone is just supposed to know how to shop here and how to get fabricVisible signs would definitely help a newcomer feel more welcome.
Mike Pangburn: This Joann is undergoing a management change and is a bit on the messy side. The employees are kind, hard working and will do whatever they can to help the customers get what is needed for their craft project.
C R: They alway seem to haveehat i need
Jon D Barnett: Lots of stuff, but i only go for the yarn.Too much emphasis on gimmicky discounts/coupons/sales. I always leave thinking I've been ripped off with high prices because I don't play their marketing games.
Sherri Johnson: We went for the basic sewing class. The teacher was excellent.
Angela Pope: A certain person that works in receiving is very rude and has very poor people skills it's really sad to see that person treat people so poorly......
C Coe: was only in long enough to get scissors
Teresa Whitworth: Love this store, great finds!
Ron Groves: They need staffing review only one register open I saw enuff staff there for another open checkout and still have store covered bead selection has diminished from couple years ago

Matthew Tingley: Love all the crafts supplies
L B: Thank you for having a pride collection!
Dan Neumann: Did great on my framed pictures
Mamiegirl Dorbor: Nice place and very affordable 👌
Jonna: Not too busy at all. Store was clean & quiet with the exception of the staff repeatedly asking if we needed any help or were finding what we were looking for. I think they might have been bored.
Vocals 43: Great store for many of items that are great for you and your family
Kristan Daily: A bit on the expensive side but they have good sales and regularly have decent coupons.
Maria Lopez: They are always my go to for MOST of my hobby needs.
Jason Weaver: Great selection for cricut materials, I love buying vinyl there for stickers or shirts.
Jerry Bryant: Another of stuff. I just looked around. I will return
Teri Stilley: Very organized and bright.
Robert Hampton: Floor stocks continues to increase so their selections are more varied and cheaper.
Aaron Roberts Khiaraslaw: Always very nice people working in this location
Kristi Ramirez: My favorite craft store!
Andy Smith: Not the best, but pretty good
Renèe Finch: Being a DIYer, artist and crafter, I absolutely love Michaels. Has reasonable pricing on some of my essentials. But this location I’ve had a few not so great experiences. Being followed everywhere after being asked a question and got a snobby remark back. I brushed if off and left before I ended up saying something back. Overall decent store but going to choose different location.
Jennifer Harvey: Always have just what I’m looking for
Brandi Houston: Love this store! It's always clean and well stocked. The associates are friendly as well.
Justin Payne: The staff is very helpful. I had filled out a survey with an issue, and they made it a priority to resolve the issue the same day. Bree (I hope I am spelling it right) was especially helpful and a true rockstar!
Ron Groves: Nothing major didn't find what I was looking for did buy 1 strand of beads

Nanette Wolf: Great store for most types of hobbies & crafts plus a lot more!
John Wallis: Got craft supplies

Richard Renfro: Did a great job for me, on framing.
Elizabeth Suzanne Winkler: I picked up some amazing watercolors! They had everything I needed!
Mary Sortland: Always find more than I need.
Jacob Noble: Store is not open at 10:18am all though sign says they open at 9:00am.
Briana Jones: I love hobby lobby I bought a few pieces of decor for my daughter's bedroom
John Stir: Great place for the holidays that are coming
Thomas Denise: Home away from home
Gayle Carpenter: Love the store. Well stocked. Floors need stripped due to moving shelves.
Brandon Lancaster: My go to place when my kids have a hobby they want to pursue!
Diana Wilson: Needs more cashiers
Claudia BelZel: One of my favorites stores
Mike Radabaugh: Very organized and clean. Employees are very friendly and helpful. 2023.
Kyle Lawson: Even though I disagree politically with the companies policies, they do provide good knick knacks and framing for the home. The only downside is that the checking out process is slow. There are no bar codes, so the cashiers have to type in the item number to ring it up. This really backs up the lines.
Terri Thomas: Not busy
Jim Conway: No waiting about 10am Saturday.

Blick Art Materials: what do users think?
Stephanie Givens: Pretty cool art supply place. Prices weren't as high as I thought.
Mac Kreig: Nothing is better than the in store experience! Employees courteous and helpful.
pikejsp0: Friendly people. Easy to fine things.
Laurel loves Laughing: Staff is very helpful
Crystal L: Good art store. Llooking to paint or create an art project. This is the store for you. Staff is very helpful and helps find what you need.
Mike Parker: That's place is awesome and has everything! 🤘🏻
Paige Crosswhite: They have golden open always in stock
Kay Clements: Very helpful in finding what I needed.
Ronda R: They usually have what I need. Great selection. Well organized. Helpful people!
Ruthanne Smith: This is a hidden gem I found while driving down Main street. The staff was very helpful and the store had everything I needed. I will stop by again when I have more time to look
Michael Squires: Stopped in for some screen printing ink.
Sasha F: Always friendly and great sales on Copic markers! The store is always neat, organized and clean. Staff is always willing to help and greet you with a smile. I know when I go in there that I can usually find what I'm after and if I can't they have suggestions of where I can find it. I'm new to the area so they write down addresses and directions for me. Love this store!
Haley Jester Mott: I love that Midtown has this art supply store in a commerce dessert. It keeps me from traveling to the suburbs and shopping in corporate big box stores. The only reason I have awarded 4 and not 5 stars is because they cram a LOT into a small space and it can be a bit overwhelming.
Elio Fraenig: The folks who were working were super helpful and sweet when I was looking for materials for a cyanotype project. I'll definitely be going back to get supplies for future projects - they have a good amount of material for pretty much any medium you can think of!
EricZMann: If you're a serious artist and want quality medium and materials...... this is the place to go! The manager even helped me find an excellent glaze to cover this pottery and it looks great.
Sherrie Ortiz: Always an amazing collection of things I didn't know I needed.
Rebecca Altman: I love shopping for my art supplies at Blick. The employees are always super helpful
Warren Jackson: Great people. Any and everything you need to become a great artist, whether it's painting or drawing you can pretty much find it here.
Mike Sanders: Great
Brandie Oehring: The store has a great assortment of art supplies if you're a painter, do pastels, and draw. The employees seemed ok but didn't talk to me. I was looking for pottery supplies but they didn't have much to choose from. Nice store overall, but probably look elsewhere for clay and pottery supplies.
Angel Marie: Yay, my favorite art store

Creative-Coldsnow: Westport: what do users think?
Roderick Mack: I had two pictures framed, and the result was AWESOME. I will be back!
Becky Reed: I get frustrated every time I try to shop here which is a shame since it's so close to where I live. They don't seem to care if they sell stuff or not since they don't keep things in stock. Lots of empty cubbyholes and shelves. I thought they were going out of business when I first started shopping there. This has been going on for years so it's not a pandemic thing. All in all it just feels poorly run. Now and then I find something at a reasonable price so I keep going back since it's so close. But I could be buying so much more there instead of their competitors.
David Miller: Great selection and friendly people.
Destiny MacWilliams: Great selection, prices and customer service! Honestly the prices cannot be beat, I got a steal of a deal and my art is thankful for it! They also support local artists which is amazing!
John: Staff member very knowledgeable courteous answer all your questions and needs first time ever being there and it won’t be the last time great store highly recommended for all your art crafts needs
Jessica Loredo: Friendly staff good prices!!
Leonard Le'Doux Jr. (Visual Artist): Awesome service
Robert Smith: Wonder place. Great selection and friendly staff
C: I used to love it. Now it's a struggle to shop. A mask is fine except my glasses fog. I didn't see the line needed to step behind. Very little lighting so extra difficult to see unless I am near a sunlite window. The store is not honoring patron purchase awards, part time hours and need to call.
nohatmonkey: Used to be a great art store but completely wrapped up in the Covid hysteria. Face masks have been proven time and again to be ineffective placebos, yet Coldsnows requires them to enter the store. And when i do get in they are about 30% stocked!. You know who doesnt have these policies and stays in stock? Amazon and Hobby Lobby - i'll just go there next time i need something! You're putting YOURSELVES out of business! Stop with these asinine policies and stock your store!
M Beach: Very helpful people
Chikara Hibino: Well stocked and super nice staff
Craig Rice: Nice people good arts supply store.
Marshall Graybill: I love this place because of the ma and pa type store. This is in original store it has class it also has great deals I bought the remainder of the Montana markers that they have stopped carrying but I got it for a great price. Now there are other art stores around the metro that you can go to and probably get better deals but you're not going to get that service that you get at cold snow so just do the right thing and come on and a cold For any of your art needs!!!!
Caleb Burch: Awesome local art supply store
The Vuldronaii: Really good prices on top quality art products. There's another art shop on the other side of midtown that competes very well. But the frequency of their sales wins it for me. Best place to buy canvas.
Chad Layton: Very friendly staff, must visit for artists
Katie Powell: Coldsnow is the best place to shop reasonably priced supplies in kc, and they give students a 40% discount if you show your student ID. Kcai kids can rejoice!
Sara Dell: So much love for this establishment.
G stone: The folks here were very helpful!! Love that this place is a local based and owned store.
Peter The'Witch: my favorite art supply store in the mid west, if they don't have it ..no one else does.. great staff, good prices love it, so much to see

ScrapsKC: what do users think?
Christy Huber: Best thrift store for Art supplies!
Lynn Monger: I LOVE SCRAPSKC
Jenna Munoz: Always an adventure, and we always find the supplies we need (plus more)!
Nik Huffman: One my favorite places in KC. A fan since the early days in the West Bottoms. Looking for something to do something? You can probably find it or figure it out here.
Melissa Humphries: Great place to buy art and craft supplies and support a good cause at the same time.
Beth Monger: Great place to find unique crafting, yarn and sewing items for a decent price and help people in need at the same time.
Anisa Gaines: Awesome place for crafts supplies with great prices. Fun to take kids here and let them pick stuff out
Chris McClenny: All sorts of nifty tidbits of things for almost any project! Staff super friendly!
Gina Donica: Love this place! Just wish it was closer to me! Inspiration around every corner!!
Virginia Long: Amazing place! They have figured out how to repurpose almost everything! Donate or shop. Or both! They're keeping stuff out of the landfills and helping the homeless too. A KC treasure everyone should know about and support.
Stephanie Mahoney: Great place to find fabric, office supplies, craft supplies and make donations. Lovett!
C H: Such a fun place, I love it!
Regina Moreno: Has a supply of fabric remnant at reasonable prices
Rebecca Gordon: Interesting little store with all kinds of fun "scraps" for crafting. Great place to get some inspiration.
Emily (Selkie): This shop is a little bit of a walk from the nearest bus stop (11 line, SW Blvd/31st St stop) but honestly worth the effort for all the goods. It's an arts and craft supply wonderland with competitive prices. The stock is always changing as it's (as far as I can tell) mostly reliant on donated supplies to populate the shelves. The yarn selection is really good. There's always a nice variety of different yarns, some interesting novelty stuff, a small section for higher end yarns, and some shelves with the standard types sold at craft stores. As far as other crafts go, there's fabrics (apparel and quilting), embroidery floss, a smaller selection of drawing and painting supplies, miscellaneous odds and ends, and office and school supplies. There's really something for everyone. The shopping experience was a little rougher than my first visit here (Saturday afternoon as opposed to like, a Wednesday at opening). The aisles were more crowded and kids were dashing around, kind of annoying. The yarn shelves were depleted considerably. That being said, I found what I needed and a few extra useful things. The prices aren't rock bottom thrift store prices but still way cheaper than full retail.Definitely check this place out if you're looking for supplies on the cheap. My only other real criticism is the limited open days/hours. I wish it was open more often.
Andy G: Wonderful place full of anything the creative mind would ever want or need, at incredibly good prices. Can’t recommend enough!
Beth Garbe: I love going to Scraps KC. I think it is a great concept the way it is set up to be a source of craft supplies for every type of craft or hobby imaginable. They have great, quality items and the prices can't be beat. Not to mention its proceeds go to such a worthwhile cause and the craft/hobby items people donate not are not just being thrown away and filling up a landfill.
Susan Runer: Nice people. Great way to get stuff out of the closet.
Selena J: As an artist, crafter and maker this place is magical ✨ I've found so many treasures and thankful that a place like this exists to keep items out of the landfills and into hands that love to make things. As if that's not enough, the hearts of those running and contributing to this store help the homeless, give away school supplies to teachers and have education programs to teach children about the environment and embracing their creativity.
Jacque Voss: Best crafting consignment store in the city. Great deals on everything
Ashley Holland: Awesome second hand store for art supplies. You never know what they'll have it's always a surprise! Plus they give back to the community 💚💚💚 go scraps KC
