Michele Hamilton: First Fridays are the best at this place! Tonight Eric and Cassie have been amazing and we haven’t had a bad bartender here! Attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and just all around good people. (Side note: the dots on the bar charge your phone)

Melissa Jesnowski: I really enjoyed this place the prior times I've gone, but this last experience put a bad taste in my mouth. We went for a music-themed night and the bartender that evening did not like this particular genre and definitely showed his distaste. I had brought a couple of friends who've never been there so it's a bummer that that was their first experience.On a positive note, the beer is good and the new spot is a step up.Update 11/14: Eric, the owner, was quick to rectify the situation and was very open to feedback. We look forward to visiting again!

So refreshing. I go on my 10k steps walk and somehow my GPS keeps leading my past BBC. I get two Lima Frescas to embiggen my soul and then I am off again into the urban wilderness.
Anna Page: Great midtown location. Good beer and great service. Edit to my original post. Still decent beer but a bit grossed out by the guy sitting next to us with his bulldog. It's in his lap and a server brought the dog food that it is now eating off the table...ick.

Tommy Lopez: Nice vibe, friendly staff. Asked the beer tender for a recommendation and she wasn't afraid to give one. Many servers will tell you what the most popular tap is. Not what I asked. Really enjoyed the recommended Menage a Trop hazy. The Stone Fruit Stunner barleywine was the winner for me. A very well made barleywine. If I ever find myself in KC again, I'll be back.
Dusty Weeks: Did a flight and the range of beers that were well executed was awesome. Server was great and overall dug the atmosphere.

Shawn: I walked in at the right time because shortly after and for the next 2 hours the place was packed. So I'd say aim for that 2-3 window they do a shift change at around 4. But stay on top of their customer service. A 10 for customer service.This has always been a friends and family vibe when it comes to atmosphere from the brewer and manager to the bartenders. They have snacks available with suggested pairings. 8 out of 10 for atmosphere.Onto their beer. Tried there stout, pilsner, pale ale and Irish red ale.The pilsner is made with Italian hops and a 10 out of 10, a myst try.The stout was bold n had a little kick, 7 out of 10.Now I love pale ales but I was not impressed with this one what so ever 2 out of 10.The Irish red ale was strong and full flavored a 6.5 out of 10.

Jessica Campuzano: We really enjoyed the beer here! We are not IPA fans but 1st of all they had a lot of other offerings and 2nd they were all varied and delicious! We didn't quite jive with the bartender but the point of coming to a brewery is the beer and they definitely deliver in that! My favorite was the Stoned Throw which had just the right amount of sourness and body for me and my husband.

Rick Bame: Excellent place with excellent beer. I regret not having extra time to take the tour. Hopefully I can come back someday. I’m a huge fan of their barrel aged beers especially, but everything they make here is solid. One of the best breweries I have ever been to.
Caleb Nino: The. Pale. Ale.Oh my word hahaha! This is the IPA I’m going to measure all other IPAs against 🙈 The hazey was pretty good as well.We also had a few apps/bar snacks. The dip was good, but the beer cheese didn’t quite do it for me 😞😕 maybe a little too watery/runny? Not your typical beer cheese haha.But the IPA still makes this a 5 star place, plus the atmosphere was really great as well!!!

Thomas Gambino: I recently purchased your Fling craft cocktail MAI TAI, I am severely disappointed, what is supposed to be a sweet drink, tasted absolutely gross. Its as bad as Red Bull, both taste like bug juice. And the color is just as uninviting as well. What a waste of $10.99 plus tax. I will continue to create my own with a family recipe. Was not able to attach a picture of this drink.
The Unpaved Middle: I knew Boulevard brews really good beer, but I was still blown away. It's much larger than I expected. Totally first class people and operation...top to bottom. If you like beer and find yourself in KC, make time to visit. It's well worth it.

M Hartman: Sat. 9/3/22 We've been looking forward to trying the Bier Station,wasn't happy with the app only ordering, software could use a few tweaks, confusing layout, several people at our table found themselves double ordering by accident, also was a disconnect between the app and the food service, after ordering food and waiting a long time we asked about it and was told they were out of our selections, (this was at 5 o'clock), servers were all nice, beer selection is great, tried to let the manager know about the app problems for future fixes but was told there was no manager on site, seemed odd.

Chris Bittner: Damn good beer! This is the Nightmare Quad and it’s dreamy. 😂 So good! You’ll want to eat first because this 12% abv quad will kick your backside. Worth it!

Jake Phillips: This is a great venue, there is plenty of space. There's the main bar area, a quieter side area, which is also used for quiz night, and an outside area. All have plenty of seating and wheelchair accessible.The food was lovely, we visited twice whilst visiting KC from the UK and ate once there. We had the loaded Mac and Cheese, one with pork and one with burnt ends, both were incredible....as was the cornbread (a completely new thing to us brits!)We specifically visited on Tuesday evening for the pub quiz, which was enjoyable, apart from not knowing much American Trivia! The host was probably the best I've come across, bringing enthusiasm, sass and competitiveness. Dropped .5 star purely by slow arrival of food, but rounded up to 5.

Samir Muranjan: Great selection of beers on tap. They also have whiskey and wine for folks that prefer those. Lovely food can be ordered from the BBQ next door. Make sure to find an appropriate parking or pay parking in order to avoid getting towed, they are rather aggressive on that front.

TOG79: I can't rave enough about this brewery. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The food was very good the beer was very good. They were very helpful and offering other suggestions for breweries and helped me get my lost receipt for my expense report. The only thing I wish I'd been able to do is buy a pint glass; but I understand supply and demand. Any breweries around the area need to take note and take this example and run with it. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had!

Geoff Sonntag: This brewery is really top notch. Beers are extremely fresh and well brewed. Styles from stout to wheat are on point, with their IPAs being top shelf. Food is always high quality. Best french fries in KC! Tap room space is open and inviting and the staff is extremely friendly and inviting. This is the gem of the Crossroads and that is saying quite a lot considering the quality of breweries and craft beer spaces in the area.Parking: Plenty of parking.

Certainly left me wanting to find some at my local liquor store.Service 3/5 No offer to help pick beers or tell us anything about them. Or the multitude of sauces they had. For a fairly tame and polite group, the two bartenders seemed annoyed we were even there to spend our money. Unfortunate for them, we're big tippers when it comes to good service.Beer 4/5 Really liked 3 of the 5 I tried; magic magic, monk and honey, and house brew. The ones I liked were exceptionally good.Atmosphere 3/5 Clean space and modern decor. Liked the bar setup. Seating bench was about to fall apart, and chairs were the standard; uncomfortable but cheap and easy to clean.Food 3/5 Burgers and fries were really good. Tacos and quesadilla could be great but were soggy and lacked flavor.

Cassidy Seiler: Beer was probably okay, but the atmosphere was more than uncomfortable…so we didn’t sit and enjoy. We had friends visiting from Minnesota and we wanted to try out some local establishments. It was not busy at this brewery, but the bartender made it quite clear that she was irritated with us (not sure if it was our speed of ordering or that we were picked up the tab for our visitors). But meanwhile, it was essentially only us and the bartenders and we felt pretty unwelcome so we spent a total of probably 30 minutes at Torn Label. We were polite, we tipped…I just think we didn’t look like patrons that mattered to this business. At least that was the vibe we all picked up…

Travis Street: This review is for the Airport location. The meal was waaaaay overpriced and the portions were extremely small. I ordered the BBQ plate with burnt end add on. They were out of rips unfortunately so I got brisket in addition to burnt ends. To say that what I received on my tray was absolute disappointment! I wouldn’t even call these burnt in they are bland chunks of meat. I will never return to this place and I hope the manangement actually reads these posts and attempts to do a better job. I feel like this place preys on travelers with “Kansas BBQ” and it is nothing like what is in the city
gar demo: Horrible service. We found a table and waited 25 minutes and never got so much as a menu. The waiter came by three times to say they would be right with us. There were plenty of staff milling about complaining about being busy.

Kyle Kotzman: Been around to Stockyards a number of times and beer is consistently made well. Holdover decor from former occupant makes it fun.Have to post about the recently released Farmhouse Ale. Best beer I’ve had all year. Truly enjoyed and hopefully it becomes a staple of Stockyards.

Whether you're in town visiting Kansas City or call KC your home, Alma Mader is an incredible place to enjoy a pint indoors or check out their amazing beer garden outside. With friendly staff and great tasting beer, this would be my first brewery stop within the KC metro.Pro tip: If you see an eye catching beer on their website, pre-order a 4 pack to-go as demand is very high for their offerings. You don't want it to sell out before you arrive!

Tami Flowers: A great little brewery with amazing beers and a cool vibe. Their rotation changes frequently but always offers the best IPAs and pilsners in KC. A must visit if you enjoy great beer.
James Mildren: I've been going to Alma Mader since late 2019 and they have remained my favorite KC brewery ever since. Their beers are so clean, flavorful, and well constructed. Their hoppy beers are ridiculously good, but I think their lineup of pilsners and other lagers really show how talented they are. 5-star brewery!
Brian Palmer: Can't miss here. Everything is good and the vibe is kind. You've gotta come here if in KC and want to try some of the best that the city has to offer

John Wallisch: Probably my favorite brewery in Kansas City. Have some of their Parallel and Nearby in my fridge right now. I love that they place a special emphasis on Pilsners, some of my favorite beers. Have never had a bad beer from these guys.

Robert Evans: Best brewery in KC. Amazing crispy pilsners and lagers, stouts, and hazy pale ale type stuff. Taproom is beautiful and they have really good taste in music.

Kellen: Hands-down, the best brewery in town.If you're a fan of hoppy pale ales and hazy IPAs, this should be your brewery in Kansas City.Also, very dog-friendly (pics related). They were selling dog toys in 2021-2, but not sure if they still have any in-stock or are planning to produce more.They created a patio out front in 2022 for more space and food trucks are often around on the weekend.
