Border Brewing Company: what do users think?
Michele Hamilton: First Fridays are the best at this place! Tonight Eric and Cassie have been amazing and we haven’t had a bad bartender here! Attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and just all around good people. (Side note: the dots on the bar charge your phone)
Doug Benz: Some of the best brews in the crossroads hands down!!!!
Cole Bryant: Terrible customer service. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes with my ID ready and no one even acknowledged I was there.
Samantha Cross: Green beer on St. Paddy's Day! Nice brewery.
Luiz Galdino: Great spot to sit, chill and drink some beer. All beers were very tasteful. Now, bartender was maybe not enjoy his day too much, a bit grumpy, but not everyone needs to have a good day every day.
Tokey Boswell: Have been a couple times in the past years and always love it. Just go for it.
Austin Gates: Really good strawberry blonde ale. Gin badket hard cider was very delicious as well.
John Hill: Border has some really good choices with their different beers. I had the Patio Pale Ale on December 29th but it was 67⁰ outside. The people that work there are always helpful with suggestions and they have a really good sense of humor.
Helen Wheels: The Strawberry Blonde is phenomenal! The men behind the bar are amazing; This is a quaint place, with the best 80s-90s music playing! Pets are welcome!!!!
Melissa Jesnowski: I really enjoyed this place the prior times I've gone, but this last experience put a bad taste in my mouth. We went for a music-themed night and the bartender that evening did not like this particular genre and definitely showed his distaste. I had brought a couple of friends who've never been there so it's a bummer that that was their first experience. On a positive note, the beer is good and the new spot is a step up.Update 11/14: Eric, the owner, was quick to rectify the situation and was very open to feedback. We look forward to visiting again!
Rebecca Vrbas: Great beer, the Seltzer #1 and Gin Cider are top tier as well!
Sean McNamara: So much fun. The staff is great. This could be our new place to hang out.
Dan Park: Super nice folks, great beer. Cool space.
Paul LaDue: Nice remodeled bar. Outside seating in a shaded area. Their Strawberry Blonde is one of my favorite beers anywhere. Definitely worth a visit!
Matt Rolfes: Good beer and the new location has a lot more space
Francis Pingatore: Great beer and service, this place is a must-stop while in KC
Kara Eikenbary: Great beers, bartenders, and vibe! Darrick is the best!
John Sands: Great new space with back patio, good selection of beers brewed on site. Friendly staff
John Glynn: Great beers. Great staff. A beer garden oasis that doesn't feel as urban and dusty as the rest of the Crossroads. Hear me now! I love love love the Lima Fresca lager for summer. So refreshing. I go on my 10k steps walk and somehow my GPS keeps leading my past BBC. I get two Lima Frescas to embiggen my soul and then I am off again into the urban wilderness.
Anna Page: Great midtown location. Good beer and great service. Edit to my original post. Still decent beer but a bit grossed out by the guy sitting next to us with his bulldog. It's in his lap and a server brought the dog food that it is now eating off the table...ick.
David Bunch: Strawbery blonde one of the best beers I've had

Double Shift Brewing Company: what do users think?
Tommy Lopez: Nice vibe, friendly staff. Asked the beer tender for a recommendation and she wasn't afraid to give one. Many servers will tell you what the most popular tap is. Not what I asked. Really enjoyed the recommended Menage a Trop hazy. The Stone Fruit Stunner barleywine was the winner for me. A very well made barleywine. If I ever find myself in KC again, I'll be back.
Dusty Weeks: Did a flight and the range of beers that were well executed was awesome. Server was great and overall dug the atmosphere.
Anna Page: Disappointed on beer selection. Not any beers I actually like. Settled for a pumpkin ale which was average
Dave Duval: Great staff. Friendly and helpful when needing to make a tough decision. Would visit again if I came back to Kansas City.
John C: Great small urban brewery. Good attention to the whimsical details of the craft and the quality of the final product.
Eric Eichel: Nice selection of beer. Friendly staff. Good location in a newer growing part of town. Would be back next time in KC.
Sarah Lindsey: Cute place with fun beers! Flight option. Totally my jam! I tried a milk shake IPA which I don't remember trying before. They had different beers to take home so those are in my fridge now, excited to try. Good sours options, my favorites. Under new ownership I'm told. First time in, but highly recommend!
Chuck Baumgart: You'll love this small local brewery. Very cozy setting with 10 to 12 beers on tap that are all well done! If you're in the area, definitely try it out.
Shawn: I walked in at the right time because shortly after and for the next 2 hours the place was packed. So I'd say aim for that 2-3 window they do a shift change at around 4. But stay on top of their customer service. A 10 for customer service. This has always been a friends and family vibe when it comes to atmosphere from the brewer and manager to the bartenders. They have snacks available with suggested pairings. 8 out of 10 for atmosphere.Onto their beer. Tried there stout, pilsner, pale ale and Irish red ale.The pilsner is made with Italian hops and a 10 out of 10, a myst try.The stout was bold n had a little kick, 7 out of 10.Now I love pale ales but I was not impressed with this one what so ever 2 out of 10.The Irish red ale was strong and full flavored a 6.5 out of 10.
Tokey Boswell: Yep! Great atmosphere on brewers alley. Some quirky stuff, lots of experimental opportunities, and some sid classic brews. I mean, if you like beer, ...
Kellen: My favorite brewery among the bunch in the Crossroads. Love the vibe and their beers.
Adriana Velarde: Small neat brewery place! We had the beer flight and it was presented very cute. All Beers we tried tasted very good! I recommend it.
Tech Wizard: Excellent brewery.
Raghukumar S: It’s local. But canned beer is not worth it. It’s completely artificial flavor that I got. But draft beer are good.
J. C.: Had several different beers here and all of them were done well. Beertenders were friendly and helpful, even when it got busy. Probably my favorite brewery in town.
Sushu Wang: Friendly workers and chill atmosphere. Good IPAs. The non-alcoholic drinks aren’t good because not made from scratch. For example, the coffee and hot chocolate taste bad.
Jessica Campuzano: We really enjoyed the beer here! We are not IPA fans but 1st of all they had a lot of other offerings and 2nd they were all varied and delicious! We didn't quite jive with the bartender but the point of coming to a brewery is the beer and they definitely deliver in that! My favorite was the Stoned Throw which had just the right amount of sourness and body for me and my husband.
Kabir Torres: Great place to meet up with acquaintances, friends or anything in between. Love their beer selection and have not been disappointed by anything I’ve tried. A must visit for KC locals and those visiting.
Shanna Miles: Very nice! New favorite!
Jacob Riedel: Fantastic brewery. They are always improving the ambience and their brews.
Tim Coble: Wonderful find!

Boulevard Brewing Company: what do users think?
Rick Bame: Excellent place with excellent beer. I regret not having extra time to take the tour. Hopefully I can come back someday. I’m a huge fan of their barrel aged beers especially, but everything they make here is solid. One of the best breweries I have ever been to.
Caleb Nino: The. Pale. Ale.Oh my word hahaha! This is the IPA I’m going to measure all other IPAs against 🙈 The hazey was pretty good as well.We also had a few apps/bar snacks. The dip was good, but the beer cheese didn’t quite do it for me 😞😕 maybe a little too watery/runny? Not your typical beer cheese haha. But the IPA still makes this a 5 star place, plus the atmosphere was really great as well!!!
Michelle Mcclendon: Great place !!
David Sanchez: Very cool space, amazing beer. Wny only 4 stars? Keg blew during my pour and although it is customary to get whatever was poured for free, they didn't.
Troy Lund: Great brew pub, too bad they close so early
Eric Eichel: Great beer, plenty of room, tours fill up fast. Definitely a destination spot, lots of people coming and going. HUGE beer selection with options for everyone.
Susan Morris: Great venue! Delicious assortment on tap. Games to play and large outside area. Also food available to order. Team super friendly as well!
Thomas Gambino: I recently purchased your Fling craft cocktail MAI TAI, I am severely disappointed, what is supposed to be a sweet drink, tasted absolutely gross. Its as bad as Red Bull, both taste like bug juice. And the color is just as uninviting as well. What a waste of $10.99 plus tax. I will continue to create my own with a family recipe. Was not able to attach a picture of this drink.
The Unpaved Middle: I knew Boulevard brews really good beer, but I was still blown away. It's much larger than I expected. Totally first class people and operation...top to bottom. If you like beer and find yourself in KC, make time to visit. It's well worth it.
Parwinder Taank: Very nice brewery. Great selection of beers.
Clyde Irvin: Very nice venue, can I get a discount if I choose to rent it?
Travis Nastase: Great tour. Great beer.
Shannon Swanson: Must do tour!
Mike Palmer: Wow great tour and browsing tastes
Buddy Daly: Great tour!
Greg Lawler: A must stop when in KC.
Haley McCloud: This place is such a fun and inviting space! On top of that the bartender tracked me down to let me know they did have more Key lime and Coconut Quirk Seltzer after they thought they were sold out. The workers here are friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. We love the test bar too. All the beer is *chef kiss*. 11/10 - make sure to stop here!
Rachel Papez: Awesome place! Fun tours! Best brews. Hands down coolest brewery I’ve been to. Really loving the seltzers these days and I would like to request an Orange Dreamsicle flavor. You could call it Tangerine Whip! Anyways, I’m in Marketing so thought I would throw it out here. Keep doing what you’re doing and I’ll keep coming back!
Bubba Bri: Great tours, great beer selection. Taphouse experience was one of the best in North America!
Tony D: Fantastic! Great tour!
Krisan Mitchell: We took the 2 hour tour. Guides were informative and entertaining. Beer was good!

Strange Days Brewing Co.: what do users think?
Bill Wehling: Very good selections. Nice place as well number of tvs but what I really like is the one screen that shows when the KC streetcar will arrive!
Alex Hedtke: Waitress was excellent; she happily swapped out the wheat beer I didn’t care for with a lager. Unfortunately, that didn’t taste good either. 😅
Jackie Mckain: Great Beer- horrible chairs
P B: Decent patio area and a unique beer offering makes this more of a location for those who prefer smaller brewers. They have a baby foot in the corner next to a myriad of old television sets.
Eric Eichel: Real good spot, yummy beer, friendly service. Wedged right in with another place for gaming etc... Patio is nice.
Sam Keske: Favorite brewery spot near the market. Friendly, helpful staff. Relaxed, plant-filled setup. The to-go selection sells out, but because they're selling high-quality options, including heavily hopped (but not bitter) IPAs. Cool.
isabella barrios: Loved this place! The beer selection was great, I had several super tasty IPAs. The bartender was helpful, and the space itself was very nice. The free feminine products in the bathroom was a really thoughtful touch.LGBTQIA+ friendly, great beer, beautiful space 💖
Lyle Reynolds: Underappreciated ipa game. Within kc we have bks, alma mader and city Barrel as beacons of great ipa's & dipa's. Strange days has solid ipa's as well! Happy 5th anniversary.
Chris Denton: Sweet place tucked into City Market. Awesome people and it’s pet friendly too! Highly recommended!
Pete Romano: Recently attended party at Strange Days. Very nice facility with some awesome brews and great staff too!
Paige Sato: Omar was awesome! Very friendly and informative. My husband and I appreciated his enthusiasm and awesome attitude!
Michael Proffer: Wonderful beer and atmosphere!
Bret Schuetz: Great place. Its very open with friendly staff. The beers were great with other options available. If your a soccer fan, especially a Spurs fan this is your Brewery.
Void Transmits (VoidTransmits): Really good and clean aesthetic, well decorated for October, good music, and the staff was very hospitable. Great service. Definitely have to come back here again.
Matt Rolfes: Good beer and fun trivia
Gingersary the Great: I enjoyed my beer and plan on going back.
Elena Khoury: Solid brewery in River Market right off the streetcar line. Good beers and great atmosphere.
M: 1st ---my only beer was a very good American ipa. The brewery does a intelligent covid precaution. I enjoyed the bartender conversation and there's plenty of outside seating. Downside is parking and driving around the area. Despite the parking competition this is a good brewery stop..
Daniel Lopes: Great beer selection. The staff is super friendly. A bug decided to swim in my beer, and they were kind enough to give me an extra beer — cheers!
Jess Len: Awesome beer! Super welcoming vibe, ordered a flight to try them all, and each beer was my new favorite! Will definitely be back for more- running out of Death by Elvis at home!
Diane B: I'm not a beer person, so I was so thankful to see they have seltzer! They also serve snacks and have games. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.

Bier Station: what do users think?
Russ Gunn: Good night sweet prince
Jenna Munoz: Best night at Bier Station yet. Thanks for the impromptu karaoke tonight and the great beers, service, food, etc. I will really miss this place when it's gone. What an institution.
Bob Plagens: Bittersweet visit to mark the end of an era. So many memories of time spent here over the last decade. Waldo will be a bit darker when it's gone at the end of the year.
K Hlavacek: Really gonna miss this place and the people who have made it a wonderful member of the community.
Chris Riebe: Too bad they are closing at the end of the year. Gonna miss this place
Keith Harmon: Great place 👍
Megan McAnany: I lived right up the street a few years ago. The food is excellent and service is great. Love the games available! We keep coming back to grab a burger
Kent Gard: Great place for great and varied beers.
Emmy W: Great patio! Wonderful for the dog people who also like beer.
Aaron Lukken: Best set of taps in town, and one hell of a community partner. Bier Station hosts a fundraiser seemingly every week, with partial proceeds of sales going to some great philanthropies.Drink great beer, make the world a better place.
Zachary McCullough: Looking for any beer? Chances are Bier Station has it!
Bonnie S.: Nice selection of beers. Bar stools are a little uncomfortable. The hummus is pretty tasty.
Amanda Schroeder: Delicious beer and kind bartenders!
Brandon Barelmann: Bier Station is a Waldo staple. Good people, good bier, we love it.
Michael Skaggs: The food and beer was great. Building is a little run down but the atmosphere was fantastic. Friendly staff and good vibes all around. Surprisingly quick service considering how busy it was too!
Patrick Dunn: Great food, service and a wide selection of drink.
Richard Stange: Great beer selection and good food too!!
M Hartman: Sat. 9/3/22 We've been looking forward to trying the Bier Station, wasn't happy with the app only ordering, software could use a few tweaks, confusing layout, several people at our table found themselves double ordering by accident, also was a disconnect between the app and the food service, after ordering food and waiting a long time we asked about it and was told they were out of our selections, (this was at 5 o'clock), servers were all nice, beer selection is great, tried to let the manager know about the app problems for future fixes but was told there was no manager on site, seemed odd.
Les Ganninger: Been here many times. The staff is awesome and friendly. Beer selections are numerous. Nice ambience. The fact that they have a social conscience and are actively working to make the world a better place is delicious icing on the cake!
Monica Nielsen-Parker: The best beer and food, priced perfectly, neighborhood vibe (remember the show, Cheers?), and HANDS DOWN the most kind-hearted owner and staff. This is a good place to be, enjoying life with great people.
Lori B: Overpriced and pretentious. When business is dying, try a cheap political gimmick to attract all the poor slobs who can't afford your mediocre beer and food. Great idea.Edit: When the control freak owner jumps on every low-rated review and you have no way of replying back. LOL! "Democracy!"

Cinder Block Brewery: what do users think?
Chris Bittner: Damn good beer! This is the Nightmare Quad and it’s dreamy. 😂 So good! You’ll want to eat first because this 12% abv quad will kick your backside. Worth it!
Sam Keske: What a cool surprise in North Kansas City, especially when paired with the neighborhood barbecue. Friendly, quick staff. Plenty of seating. Wide range of styles, from a lemon sour to a hazy IPA. Plenty of merchandise, too.
Boon T Lee, CSM: Great beers. Great selections. Great friendly bartender!!!
Jake Phillips: This is a great venue, there is plenty of space. There's the main bar area, a quieter side area, which is also used for quiz night, and an outside area. All have plenty of seating and wheelchair accessible. The food was lovely, we visited twice whilst visiting KC from the UK and ate once there. We had the loaded Mac and Cheese, one with pork and one with burnt ends, both were incredible....as was the cornbread (a completely new thing to us brits!)We specifically visited on Tuesday evening for the pub quiz, which was enjoyable, apart from not knowing much American Trivia! The host was probably the best I've come across, bringing enthusiasm, sass and competitiveness. Dropped .5 star purely by slow arrival of food, but rounded up to 5.
Brian Johnson: Good beer. Great atmosphere.
Mary Martin: It's a great place to just hang with friends.Love reconnecting with you.
Clara Murphy: Amazing beer, service is great. Played games and hung out. Always enjoy visiting
Colin Moore: No cinder blocks
Maranda T: Fantastic beer, and very friendly staff! I come here at least once every time I come to Kansas City. I love the dog friendly patio, and just the general vibe of the place.
Fallon Wells: Friend invited me to meet here and I’m so glad they suggested it! The cherry cider was amazing.
Samir Muranjan: Great selection of beers on tap. They also have whiskey and wine for folks that prefer those. Lovely food can be ordered from the BBQ next door. Make sure to find an appropriate parking or pay parking in order to avoid getting towed, they are rather aggressive on that front.
John Totzke: Good soild beer, nice outside and good service
Bruce Holeman: A nice place to relax and share a beer with a friend. It has a comfortable atmosphere, and friendly staff. They also have a good selection of beers if you like to try different brews. It's easy to get to and find parking.
Trevor Wilkinson: My favorite local brewery by far. Weathered Wit is my favorite beer!
Scott Tanos: Great tasting delicious brews crafted!
Jess Ward: Loved this brewery! The Champagne Cider is incredible! Great atmosphere and friendly service. Highly recommend checking out!
Mind Body Shen: Great cider, I loved the French cider ❤️❤️
Amanda M: Great place to hang out, the beers were really good. The blood orange cider was so good, and non alcoholic! The patio was pretty dusty but we didn't mind too much.
Zappacor Sync: Cool place for a Saturday night beer
Colin Daniels: In a city with some truly phenomenal craft breweries this is one of the best! I don’t care if you’re a casual beer drinker or a connoisseur, you are going to find something that keeps you coming back. And if beer isn’t your thing they have some absolutely incredible ciders! Do yourself a favor and check these guys out!
Angela Dvorak: Ordered Mai Tai wheat. Delicious and perfect.

Torn Label Brewing Co.: what do users think?
TOG79: I can't rave enough about this brewery. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The food was very good the beer was very good. They were very helpful and offering other suggestions for breweries and helped me get my lost receipt for my expense report. The only thing I wish I'd been able to do is buy a pint glass; but I understand supply and demand. Any breweries around the area need to take note and take this example and run with it. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had!
AJ: Another great local brewery with a wide variety of taps.Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Melissa Michael: Our first time and it was nice and good music, we played Jenga! The beer 🍺🍻 was pretty good and my husband bought some to go!Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More
Geoff Sonntag: This brewery is really top notch. Beers are extremely fresh and well brewed. Styles from stout to wheat are on point, with their IPAs being top shelf. Food is always high quality. Best french fries in KC! Tap room space is open and inviting and the staff is extremely friendly and inviting. This is the gem of the Crossroads and that is saying quite a lot considering the quality of breweries and craft beer spaces in the area.Parking: Plenty of parking.
Nate Chamberlain: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Tara Espiritu: Good beer, friendly bartenders, and cool space. I did not get the fries but the dipping sauces look amazing.
Cindy Johnson: Awesome place. Staff was super friendly and helpful.Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Tony P: While there were some aspects that left more to be desired, the beer was good and that's ultimately why I was there. Certainly left me wanting to find some at my local liquor store.Service 3/5 No offer to help pick beers or tell us anything about them. Or the multitude of sauces they had. For a fairly tame and polite group, the two bartenders seemed annoyed we were even there to spend our money. Unfortunate for them, we're big tippers when it comes to good service.Beer 4/5 Really liked 3 of the 5 I tried; magic magic, monk and honey, and house brew. The ones I liked were exceptionally good.Atmosphere 3/5 Clean space and modern decor. Liked the bar setup. Seating bench was about to fall apart, and chairs were the standard; uncomfortable but cheap and easy to clean.Food 3/5 Burgers and fries were really good. Tacos and quesadilla could be great but were soggy and lacked flavor.
Angela Dvorak: Came in on a Friday afternoon. Tacos are amazing, beer is awesome. Staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.
Joshua Jimenez: Great environment! SUCH A HIDDEN GEM!
Brian Headrick: Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Sarah Lift: My favorite brewery in KC, fantastic beers made by wonderful folks! Love the patio and the ability to take beers out of the cooler home.
Jim Baird: We wandered in on a Sunday afternoon when they were having their first ever plant exchange. So many nice people, of all ages, enjoying wonderful beverages and food! The service was great, and genuinely helpful and friendly. The beer was outstanding, too. It was our first visit, but it won’t be our last!
Kim Culley: They make their own dipping sauces for their fries. There's a big variety of sauces and all that we've tried have been really good!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Wendy McCutcheon: Shout out to Torn Label. We hosted a fun rehearsal dinner at TL in December of 2022. Alex was great to work with from creating a special menu for us to managing the event the night of the party. He is easy to communicate with and very responsive. We were thrilled with the food, beer, antmosphere and staff. Thanks so much!
Justin Rohrberg: Great service. Bartender recommended a newly tapped brew that was delicious. Great atmosphere for our family with younger kids.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Shirlene Hess: Had a great time here last night. Food and libations were spectacular! Staff was gracious and fun. Perfect spot to spend an evening with friends.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Beka Nash: Excellent food and amazing customer service. I will definitely be back!
Cassidy Seiler: Beer was probably okay, but the atmosphere was more than uncomfortable…so we didn’t sit and enjoy. We had friends visiting from Minnesota and we wanted to try out some local establishments. It was not busy at this brewery, but the bartender made it quite clear that she was irritated with us (not sure if it was our speed of ordering or that we were picked up the tab for our visitors). But meanwhile, it was essentially only us and the bartenders and we felt pretty unwelcome so we spent a total of probably 30 minutes at Torn Label. We were polite, we tipped…I just think we didn’t look like patrons that mattered to this business. At least that was the vibe we all picked up…

Stockyards Brewing Co: what do users think?
Thomas Duran: Great place to enjoy excellent crafted beer. My favorite hang out. Also beautiful Blue Grass music.
Jenna Munoz: Always a good time! Great atmosphere, A+ beer, and a full bar just in case. The Golden Ox is right next door and delivers to the taproom
Zappacor Sync: Love their Sunday Service live music sessions!
Grant Barnum: Woah Collin did such a great job with my evening meal tonight! Blown away by his professionalism and candor. Not since the dawn of the dinosaurs as there ever been a more charismatic creature! Please visit his table for a truly evocative experience. Breathtaking.
Travis Street: This review is for the Airport location. The meal was waaaaay overpriced and the portions were extremely small. I ordered the BBQ plate with burnt end add on. They were out of rips unfortunately so I got brisket in addition to burnt ends. To say that what I received on my tray was absolute disappointment! I wouldn’t even call these burnt in they are bland chunks of meat. I will never return to this place and I hope the manangement actually reads these posts and attempts to do a better job. I feel like this place preys on travelers with “Kansas BBQ” and it is nothing like what is in the city
gar demo: Horrible service. We found a table and waited 25 minutes and never got so much as a menu. The waiter came by three times to say they would be right with us. There were plenty of staff milling about complaining about being busy.
Matthew Hawkins: Great beer cool spot. Love bluegrass Sundays.
DJ Pleasure: Amazing
Craig Moore: Cool atmosphere. Great service
Allika Wolfe: The service and kind workers make me want to come back they have great music playing quit often and it's make the service so much more enjoyable
Trent DeVreugd: Best brewery in KCMO!
Jonathan Stretch: Woah. Great beer in a *beautiful* setting. Friendly staff and great prices.
Brandt Callahan: What a cool vibe! Mix a cowboy saloon with a dj that plays requested old western 45s with local craft drafts and you have a throwback experience worth revisiting. You have to check it out!
Kyle Kotzman: Been around to Stockyards a number of times and beer is consistently made well. Holdover decor from former occupant makes it fun.Have to post about the recently released Farmhouse Ale. Best beer I’ve had all year. Truly enjoyed and hopefully it becomes a staple of Stockyards.
Sydney Redding: The farm house ale is AMAZING! And one of the best beers my fiancé and I have had in a long while. We suggest getting it while it’s out!
Doug B: Great beer for the true beer drinker and they other options if attending with friends who don’t just want beer. Great atmosphere.
A.H. Lawrence.: West bottoms is becoming my favorite haunt. This used be where I went to get my nose broke lol! 😖🤛. But is being restored fantasicly. Great beer in a very nastalgic atmosphere!!! Run! Do not walk to get here!!!
Taylor Thenhaus: Saloon style cowboy bar is fun live music on sundays - dive bar and restaurants across the street the bathroom is beautiful and the beer was good. Fun atmosphere
Aaron Hammar: Good beer, and great staff! Would highly recommend!
Zach: Good beer, rude staff.
Julie Reinhardt: Put on your website that your closed!!!

Alma Mader Brewing: what do users think?
Cory G: Top IPAs in the city!!!
Hayden Woods: If you don't drink craft beer here, you're missing out on some of the best beer in the city.
Jeffrey Cox: I've been to lots of breweries around the country. This place is small, but definitely one of my favorites. Always great beer and service!
Justin Rethmeyer: Alma Mader is a fantastic brewery with the best beer Kansas City has to offer. Whether you're in town visiting Kansas City or call KC your home, Alma Mader is an incredible place to enjoy a pint indoors or check out their amazing beer garden outside. With friendly staff and great tasting beer, this would be my first brewery stop within the KC metro.Pro tip: If you see an eye catching beer on their website, pre-order a 4 pack to-go as demand is very high for their offerings. You don't want it to sell out before you arrive!
James R: Best brewery in KC/surrounding area. They even let me back in after I left the self-serve water pitcher running by accident, so quality people all the way around. The beer speaks for itself no doubt...all legit!
Tami Flowers: A great little brewery with amazing beers and a cool vibe. Their rotation changes frequently but always offers the best IPAs and pilsners in KC. A must visit if you enjoy great beer.
James Mildren: I've been going to Alma Mader since late 2019 and they have remained my favorite KC brewery ever since. Their beers are so clean, flavorful, and well constructed. Their hoppy beers are ridiculously good, but I think their lineup of pilsners and other lagers really show how talented they are. 5-star brewery!
Brian Palmer: Can't miss here. Everything is good and the vibe is kind. You've gotta come here if in KC and want to try some of the best that the city has to offer
RG Yule: Favorite brewery all around KC! Great environment, great beer, and great people!! Every style they take on, they nail it!
Cubby M: Czech dark lager served on a traditional Lukr faucet is superb, but they are also very good at all of their other beers. Definitely worth a stop!
John Wallisch: Probably my favorite brewery in Kansas City. Have some of their Parallel and Nearby in my fridge right now. I love that they place a special emphasis on Pilsners, some of my favorite beers. Have never had a bad beer from these guys.
Justin Sheets: Great beer, very friendly staff, and good atmosphere.
Robert Evans: Best brewery in KC. Amazing crispy pilsners and lagers, stouts, and hazy pale ale type stuff. Taproom is beautiful and they have really good taste in music.
Mark Wagner: Great beer and atmosphere!
Geoff Ferguson: Good beer, chill vibe.
Peter Loesch: Great local place! Awesome "warehouse" vibe! Good selection and flavors that do not disappoint. Awesome attentive and friendly service! Can be a bit busy on weekends, everyone is friendly.
Dustin Link: A mazzz zing
Andrew Lehtola: Alma Mader beers are Toppling Goliath and Weldwerks levels of quality. Go there! Tasting room is typical of small breweries, outside area is nice to get away from the crowd. Walk to Boulevard for barrel aged stuff. If you are a home brewer, listen to Riley (sp?), one of the brewers. She knows her craft!
Kellen: Hands-down, the best brewery in town.If you're a fan of hoppy pale ales and hazy IPAs, this should be your brewery in Kansas City. Also, very dog-friendly (pics related). They were selling dog toys in 2021-2, but not sure if they still have any in-stock or are planning to produce more. They created a patio out front in 2022 for more space and food trucks are often around on the weekend.
Zappacor Sync: Good beer, I'd rather go there than to Boulevard.
Andrew Heskett: My favorite brewery in KC. Lagers and IPAs are on point.
