Aubrey Anderson: The shop owners are the only reason I gave this 2 stars because they are genuinely great people. However, the rest of the warehouse left me wanting more. Many of the products were chaotically arranged (wigs in particular, not really consistent with their organization.) I came for Mehron paint but ended up leaving with nothing as the products for sale looked as if they had been on display for years. Packaging was falling apart and did not feel sanitary to me to buy. I think I'll just stick with buying directly from Mehron's website in the future.Another dissatisfier is the location. I am sure the neighborhood was once a diamond in the rough but that is not the case. While I was there, a guest literally stood in the doorway of the shop to make sure his car wasn't broken into and his work tools stolen.

Chell Sloan: This place has been around a long time and has almost everything for costume needs and they have plus sizes also. It is an experience to walk inside.

Jonathan Matthews: You can rent a theater quality costume for 60-$100 or so. Any classic character they've got it (witches, musketeers, kings & queens, Jedi, gorillas and other animals, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, etc) They also sell costumes, wigs, masks, etc at reasonable prices.

So she brought out different ones till we found the PERFECT one. They have EVERYTHING under the sun and then some! Great place, awesome nice people!

John Hazlett: This wonderful shop is not in a great location. The people who work there are salt-of-the-earth good people. Their shop is cluttered with fun, whimsical, terrifying & fantastical. Don't limit your search to the front of the check out counter. Ask to see the secret lair in the back. Sensory overload is too mild of a description of what you'll feel. I'd love to spend the next 3 months just digging through everything. I'm guessing, if they don't have it, it doesn't exist. I will come back here again & again.

Natalia Catlett: I am so grateful to have a local supply store for my theatrical needs. I have only been onsite this one time but I have worked with the company for years. I was greeted by their staff within minutes of arriving and, since I emailed the previous day and placed my items on hold, was able to pay and leave quickly. My only regret is not being able to just browse the retail shop more. Live theatre in KC is fortunate to have A to Z.

Kaleidoscope Kenya: Let's just say when customer service is A-1 you need to brag a little. Let's just start with the phone call at 4:30 pm and Kip answered and was very helpful. Showing up at 5:00 pm & Ali tapped in as soon as I hit the door. I didn't want to be the last customer of the day but the same attitude they had at 5 o'clock they still had at 5:25 pm (they close at 5:30 pm)perfect customer service. They hand wrote a Thank you note on my invoice(added a ❤)..... All of that to say this there are still really good people doing customer service work!

Raven Cruz: Take a good strong stern look at the front door because that’s the most you’ll get to see of the entire store as soon as you look at the website you’re greeted by costumes mask fake blood etc. etc. once you go there you’re told to squirt your hand with a Duramax and somebody will help you buy help you meaning you can stand at the front door while you try to explain to them what you’re needing for a Halloween costume or a theatrical thing and they basically have nowhere for you to be able to actually look and view the items until after you’ve already purchased them in the employee comes and brings one from the back a stock item not even the actual floor item at that was really thinking I would get to go and explore the whole field of the store see what costumes they had with the optical supplies they have but now that’s not the case at this place don’t waste your time going all the way over to 63rd in rock Hill because you’ll be thoroughly disappointed at A-to-Z theatricals they don’t let you go through the store you don’t get a Tatch or handle anything in for that alone I’m not gonna go I would highly recommend nobody else go as well you can see a to B but nothing close Z Waste of gas time and of course money that nobody wanted to lose

Clary LOPEZ: Well I spent over 30 dollars in 8 balloons. The dollar store is a better option. The balloons from Party city are special. In order for the balloons to last more than 8 hours you have to pay 30 cents extra for the clerk to pretend putting a jelly substance in the balloons before inflating them. She actually does not put anything she just pretends . Then you get charged a dollar for a bag to carry the balloons but you have to remove them immediately from this bag because they “suffocate “ and will deflate within 6 hours. Then you are asked if you want the string floor length or table length? I answered floor length. The clerk immediately grab the strings tied a knot and cut them “table length”. Please go to the dollar store for your balloons. Never again!!

She made sure that she did not go too far from the register because she wanted to make sure that she was available when finished making my selections.

I messed up my balloon order for delivery and asked the store if they could help, but they would only refer me to the website telling me to "see what's available." When I said I'm talking to the store and asking you to help and the employee said ok thanks goodbye.

Super attentive, helpful and courteous, vested employees .. and I met several while making my purchases. The store was well lit and welcoming, and fairly well stocked and while shopping, I had 2 employees offer to help me and then each time walk me over to where items were that I needed. So nice to have a Party City nearby!!

Erika Wooley: I purchased favors for my son's birthday. It has a Chiefs theme. Everything was pricey I thought. We spent about $79.00. We can pick up his balloons the day before the party. The Chiefs stuff was kind of picked over but we found some good stuff.

I am not from the area and was walking around countless times looking for something specific. For my experience, customer service does not exist and I will never be back.

First glance walking in is something you'd see on a commercial. (Minus the singing and dancing- but that would be awesome to see 😆) The store was very clean and organized. 10 out of 10 for customer satisfaction and  customer service. Each team member was working very hard but still made us feel welcome.(Great Job and keep up the hard work).I love the variety of themes, characters and colors the store has.
