Kelly Wilson: We used Blue Pot for our 150-person wedding and had an awesome experience. Danielle was AMAZING at communication. Any questions we had were responded to by her right away; she was extremely helpful, and put all our concerns at ease! Blue Pot was very accommodating to all of our and our guests' needs. Not to mention the food was fantastic and all of our guests were raving about it after the wedding! Since the wedding, we've had multiple guests tell us that it was the best food they've had at a wedding. We had a lot of different options to choose from, and they were all delicious, but the elegant plating and presentation at Blue Pot really set them apart. Overall, it was a great experience working with them — we couldn’t recommend them enough!
Gina Baker: Our reception dinner from Blue Pot was everything we could have expected and more. Despite our venue not having a kitchen, Blue Pot was able to set up a station and cook everything to serve our plated dinner. And the food was just killer. The Hors d’oeuvres were BOMB. The wedge salad was delightful. The coffee rubbed steak and the mushroom ravioli - HOLY COW! The mushroom ravioli were especially mind-blowing because they were made in a way where even someone who doesn’t like mushrooms could (and did) enjoy! So many people had rave reviews of the food! For those doing a plated dinner though, I would suggest talking to Blue Pot about the timing of serving. I had never been to a wedding with plated dinners, and I will say, it did take a while for everyone to get their plates. We didn’t hear any complaints about that, but it just wasn’t something I thought about with this choice. As a final note, I just wanted to mention how personable Chef and his staff were. Chef came by our sweetheart table and personally served us our main dishes, thanked us, and offered well wishes, and this was just such a personal touch. The waiter who served us the rest of the night was also wonderful - very professional but so personable at the same time. We couldn’t be happier to have chosen Blue Pot for our big day.

We had 3 food stations 1) Sushi bar (grooms favorite) 2) Chicken and waffles with famous jalapeño Mac in cheese 3) rib carvingWe also had Bacon sirloin skewers and bruschetta for appetizers. Every bite was delicious! The staff was also fantastic! I would highly recommend this catering! Don’t hesitate you won’t be disappointed AMAZING!!! Will definitely use again 😀
Alex Plunkett: One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring Blue Pot as our caterer!! I've been in the wedding industry for 6 years. I knew long before I was engaged that I would hire Blue Pot to cater my wedding. After working weddings with them I knew they had the best customer service. They are always such team players, always helping other vendors out. Their owner and chef, Mark, has such a calm presence. He makes just about any set up work and makes it look easy.When I went for my tasting I was blown away. Mark created a custom vegan menu for us. The food was incredible and it was such an awesome experience. It was our one and only tasting! We knew from the beginning Blue Pot was our caterer. The entire process was so smooth. We ended up adding on late night snacks and rehearsal dinner. The food was incredible. We had a vegan wedding and we really wanted to impress our guests since it might be their first experience with an all-vegan meal. Blue Pot did just that!I truly think the world of Blue Pot! I don't think there's a better caterer out there!! I'd hire them for my wedding a million times over again!!

Jessica Betts: We love Blue Pot Catering! We had them cater our wedding in August at The Guild. They did an INCREDIBLE JOB! The tasting was professional, well-organized, and personal. We loved being able to speak directly with the chef, Mark Juhnke, as we worked through options & made decisions about what we wanted. We had passed appetizers & a buffet-style dinner. Everything went smoothly & our guests RAVED about the food. From table set-up to packaging up our leftovers at the end of the night, the Blue Pot Catering staff exceeded our expectations. I communicated most with Kelly leading up to the wedding, and she was wonderful to work with! We found Blue Pot Catering to be very accommodating when it came to a few special requests we had and in meeting the needs of a few of our guests with special dietary needs. We cannot recommend them more highly!
Robert Roberts: I attended a wedding at which Blue Pot catered. I'll start of by mentioning that the service was top notch, the food, not so much. The flatbread 'pizzas' were creative but flavorless. The chicken was flavorful but cold and dry. Other menu items were outside my palate but I was told they were equally uninspired. I guess the salad and sliders were the best offering at the event.

Brian Cronin: We used BluePot to cater an office luncheon and went with sandwich trays and a salad bar. Sounds average, right? FAR FROM IT. The sandwiches are definitely in the gourmet category and the salad bar had such a plentiful variety of toppings. Outstanding. The trays are put together in such a lovely fashion and the quality of the food was amazing. I received many compliments on the spread but owe it all to BluePot! Would not hesitate to use them again.

If I have meals delivered, they are always delivered on time, with directions for reheating and serving. If I pick up meals, they are always ready. Someone sets them inside my car, so I never have to get out. The packaging is always attractive. Each container has a sticker with a Prepared On date and a Serve By date on the lid. The meals are always delicious and can be ordered to conform to various dietary needs.

Arienne Barnes: Recently had a short notice request to order boxed lunches for a company event. These ladies were able to produce 60 varied boxed lunches (sandwiches, wraps, and salads) for us with only one day's notice. Each box included chips, a cookie, fruit, and a soda, and all for only $7.75. Best deal in KC! Also great quality, several of our team members said it was a great find. Will definitely support this local business again!

They had a full breakfast buffet spread with a wide variety and not to mention it was delicious!
