Planned Parenthood - Comprehensive Health Center: what do users think?
Ariana Moran: I came here for an abortion and they took beautiful care of me. They were very kind and caring towards my needs, the nurses were very gentle to me after the procedure. Even during they kept me calm and i felt very safe with them. Didn't even take as long as we thought which was good. Very grateful for these women.
Channing Miller: Genuinely kind and comforting staff. I can’t thank them enough.
Jesseca Reed: Staff was amazing until I got to the part to do my surgical abortion. I was poked three times with a needle (could not find my vein) until they put it in my hand and I explained I didn’t see a vein where she poked it and they still left it there. I was suppose to receive the highest dose of medicine (which is two medicines put in you) to help with my abortion and felt like I received nothing. Once the abortion started I started to notice something didn’t feel right the further they kept going. I said something. She kept going. It wasn’t until I screamed and started crying for them to notice and all the doctor told the nurse to do was to inject me with more medication while they continued to do it. Felt like they were worried about getting done within that 10 min mark. After 4 days I notice huge blood clotting and excessive pain. Felt like I was giving birth. Went to the emergency room to find out that they did not do things proper and I will now undergo another surgery. I explained to another nurse that I felt I could trust at the appointment hey I have had an abortion before and I know I’m not suppose to be feeling like this and she processed to say everybody is different. I know this is the only place that can get you an appointment quick but hold off. This is literally not worth the risk .
Piper Brewer: First time coming here after moving, immediately was told that they’re closed until Wednesday when they have a full parking lot. Change your hours if you’re not going to let people in.
Rebekah Santoya: Came here all the way here so they could inform me as I'm checking in that the doctor had left for an Emergency... Therefore they couldn't perform any procedures. This is super super wrong in so many ways and there should be another doctor here in case one has to leave.
Morgan f: This place and these people are the best. I'm so blessed by them, from the security guard to the doctors, to my trip advisor (Tia), you all made this experience a little less challenging on me. Sierra was the best nurse and without her I don't think I would have made it through this. Thank you all..❤️
Quinn “Q” N.: Great advice
Skylar L.: i’m actually not sure why there’s any negative reviews for overland park’s planned parenthood. i never had any issues with phone calls or nurses. i had a long drive from OKC to here, they even helped me with getting a hotel so i would be able to make my appointment on time. everyone there is so kind and compassionate, they truly want to help you the best way they can. hannah was one of my nurses and she was super nice, she made sure i understood everything that was going to happened. and sierra made everything go by so quick in the OR. they talked to me the whole time just trying to make me as comfortable as possible. i would definitely recommend friends and family to overland park.
Melissa Kavanagh: refuses to refund money for services not recieved...and they just hang up when you try to contact there billing department...I normally fully support them but not when they do corrupt business.
Apple Synomon: Denied me care over a simple birth control appointment.
Fae Davidson: They can be really helpful but they love to cancel appointments
Mariah Carr: They provide excellent care when you're physically in the office, but when you aren't, good luck. Stay on them if you have to call them for literally anything. Takes over a week of playing phone tag to get a basic birth control prescription filled. They also recently got rid of their callback option, so if you need to speak to someone, your only option is to sit on the phone and hold. Very pleasant people, but their funding being cut shows. Unfortunate.
Daniella Clay: They were so kind! The nurse taking my blood even rewrapped my arm from a burn I had from work. They were so kind and help my hand through it all... I'll never forget the kindness through something so scary.
G Hi: Honestly not sure of the negative comments. Maybe it was from years ago, but you are definitely allowed to bring your cell phone in. It sucks due to Covid protocol that you can’t have a support system. They tell you it’s going to take hours. Whether you have an appointment or not. So take the day off, and stop complaining. They are trying. As far as the No answering phones I’ve always had someone answer my call AND return it. So some of y’all must have gotten them on a bad day. And we are allowed to have those. Everyone here is so kind and non judgemental.
Daquitta Powell: They was very nice all the staff they made me feel very comfortable thank yall soo much I appreciate yall for not judging
AutumnsDusk: Absolutely lovely place. All staff were very kind throughout my procedure, sweet and understanding. It took a very long time, so don't plan on doing anything else if you're here for a termination. Looked clean, and all staff were following COVID19 restrictions perfectly.
Josie Fitzgibbon: Unless you plan on waiting for 4+ hours in the waiting room for your appointment that was scheduled weeks in advance I do not reccomend this location. It is an hour and a half passed closing and still waiting to be seen.
Yifan Zhu: Yes the whole process takes long time. But you'll get things done in just one half-day appointment. All staffs I met here are so nice, professional, and compassionate. The online appointment scheduling is convenient and they have much more slots available than other clinics. They send you detailed instructions prior to your appointment. Yes your bag will be searched but cell phone is allowed in, and there's a big TV in the waiting lobby. All the rooms are bright and clean, even the supply room. Yes I entered their supply room because the tornado warning right during my visit, and that's the safety room. A patient didn't look well so a staff (should be a doctor) gave her water and a pill to help. She also checked if I'm doing OK which I'm very thankful. My husband and daughter were waiting for me in the car, security guys offered them to come inside for safety. One important thing is that do bring your own card to pay at check-in, or you'll need to reschedule.
Jacob Collins: Staff is extremely friendly!
Emily Autumn: Would have chose 0 stars if it was an option... first appointment was scheduled weeks in advance and set for 10:30am. I did not get seen till the office was already closed for the day at 3pm. Took an additional hour of waiting for other doctors and didn’t leave till around 4:20pm. I was waiting for almost 6 hours!!! Not to mention you can’t bring in a support system so you’re waiting all alone. Second appointment I have been waiting for an hour, no one has spoke to me at all and it’s only a follow up... again they close in 20 mins and the lobby is still full.... would recommend going to a different location or somewhere else completely. (:
Amanda Turvey: first time i went they had me reschedule then the next day i bounced around from waiting room to waiting room for almost 4 hours not the best experience

Center for Women's Health: what do users think?
Norma Varela: DONT RECOMMEND. The actual dr that does these procedures is super rude and MEAN. They kept $600 of mine and didn’t even want to finish my procure. When it was the dr who wasnt being gentle at all. They are a scam and dont care about patients.
Shelby: I’ve been a patient here for five years. I’m very happy with the care I receive from the staff and feel safe and confident allowing them to care for all my OB needs and more.Given the recent political climate and the repercussions of Roe v. Wade, this clinic is amongst one of the few that can support and provide specific services. That being said, there is a huge surge of needs being funneled into their practice. I think that’s important to remember and maintain patience as they try to navigate an overwhelming abundance of past and new patients.Thank you all for what you do ❤️
Michelle William: I would recommend center for women's health to anyone they are a fantastic place. They are so open and honest, very kind, patient, heart warning, so easy to talk to and they don't judge. Everyone there is wonderful and great and I want to thank everyone there for being so understanding most of all they all have a sense of humor. Please if you decide on anything that's dealing with this business you must go to center for women's health they will certainly treat you like family. Thank you guys.
Keegan Spears: Seeing the high number of 1 star reviews was not surprising at all. Extremely uncoordinated scheduling, rude front desk staff, and shady billing practices.
Shannon Murphy: Dr. Tristan Fowler is amazing! Going to your gynecologist is like going to the dentist sometimes but he puts you at ease with his gentle hands and talking you through the experience with such care and grace. I love Dr. Tracy Nauser and the utmost professionalism of her team! The atmosphere is Laid back and they truly treat you as if you are family! Dr. Tristan Fowler is on the team of professionals in Dr. Nausers’ office. They make a great team and although Dr. Fowler is a man, Dr. Nauser has successfully proven, it is no longer a mans world! I love them! I have been a patient of Dr. Nausers’ for five years and I would not go anywhere else! I also love their menu of choices of services that they provide as well! No judgement zone and always brutally honest with compassion! Check them out for yourself,I promise you will it regret it!
Joseph Miller: My wife and I had to drive from several states away for her to be seen at Center for Women’s Health. Lynnette was very helpful before our trip in letting us know what paperwork we had to have with us when we showed up for my wife’s appointment. When we arrived for her appointment we were greeted by the receptionist who was very professional and even spoke to my wife in Spanish making her feel even more comfortable. My wife was treated with compassion during her procedure. The staff were very gentle and caring when dealing with my wife and Lynnette even held her hand while she was going through the procedure. Trying to keep her calm and still. We as a family are incredibly thankful for the work that you do. Thankful even more for treating us both kindly on what has been one of the most heartbreaking times we have experienced.
Jessica Smith: I love this women's center. Their customer service skills and expertise are exceptional. I feel safe, heard, and in charge of my treatment.I still appreciate the center but if you call their office, it's important for you to know that you'll be waiting on hold for over 30-60 minutes before someone is able to address your need. Sometimes they never get back to you, resulting in you just hanging up.
Jayleigh: come here if you have hours to spare and can sit and wait for hours after your appointment , everytime is like this.
Kara Clutts (Kara933): Very friendly staff. They explained everything great, and sent me home with sample meds. I also love their communication portal online. All around a great experience here.
Raymond James: Excellent resource.
Cee Clear: Although I haven't had my appointment yet, I was impressed with the customer service I received with my initial phone call as a new patient. Jasmine went above and beyond to assist me with everything I needed to do. She stayed on the phone with me while setting up a new patient account and gave me guidance on the next steps. She was very compassionate and understanding. Thank you for making me feel comfortable and confident with my decision to become a new patient with your clinic.
Jessica Briones: I met the staff and Dr. Hodes 7 years ago. Let me tell you, the genuine concern and help they provided to me was just wonderful. Dr Hodes talked to me, listened to actually what I said and he understood. Besides making me feel comfortable, gave me such great advice. I understand he’s retired, but I had to give a review bc since 2015, I have been a patient at this location and very proud of it! Very cool place that I hope can continue to help others, like they’ve helped me.
Miss jade: They barely answer the phone
Katie Harris: Dr. Tristan Fowler is by far the most supportive & best doctor I have ever came into contact with. I was in tears and he was beyond encouraging that everything would be ok. I’m not quite sure why there are bad reviews. I wish Dr.Fowler could be my primary care because he truly cares for his patients and goes above and beyond to make you feel supported. Thank you for all that you do day in & day out.. it truly means the world for women like me.
Amanda Taber: When I first started visiting this office, I was newly pregnant with my daughter and had been referred by a family member. That was 17 years ago. Not only have I continued to visit this office for my annual check ups and any other issues that pop up from time to time, but now I have an appointment for my almost 17 year old daughter to have her first exam. I would highly recommend Dr. Nauser!
sarah redlon: Dr. Nauser is amazing! She has an excellent bedside manner. She took the time to answer all my questions, alleviate my anxiety, and put my mind at ease. She’s a lovely human as well as an outstanding physician! Thank you for all you do!
Salma Sahnoun: Doctor Tracey made me feel so comfortable. She is awesome. She is knowledgeable. I love her!! Definitely making her my OBGYN!!
Ashtyn Figg: Dr. Nauser is the BEST! She’s very knowledgeable and always makes me feel comfortable!
McKenna T: Dr. Nauser is one of a kind. She truly cares about her patients, like family. She took the time to listen to me and explained everything in a way I understood. It’s so easy to tell that this job is what she was made for. I’ve never felt more welcomed than when I went and met her. Everyone at the office was incredibly kind and worked with me from the start. If I had any questions about something I was given an answer asap. Highly recommend Center for Women’s Health. There really isn’t a better place to go in the area.
Lakshmi Shiva Ganesh Sontenam: As a receptionist, I would not just forget and sit with a headset on to let the patient wait for 40+ min (only to get reminded about making their first appointment). As a receptionist, I would notify the patient (in call or in person at the waiting hall) if the doctor is running 1 hour behind the appointment… Service is ok but everyone expects to be seen by a doctor and not a nurse practitioner especially for pregnancy related care. These are bare minimum services. Please get them taken care.
Ashton West: The theme here seems to be to take a $150 deposit over the phone and then when you arrive for your appointment, refuse service and attempt to reschedule you. This is fraud. Reporting Traci Nauser and this entire practice to the American Medical Association as well as the Better Business Burea

Planned Parenthood - Patty Brous Health Center: what do users think?
Dime H: Very respectful very kind and very informative with resources thank you
Kaylee Wilson: Best and Cheapest medical care I've ever received. It's not like the regular doctors where you get rushed out the door. They make sure all of your questions are answered before you leave. And they ask about your comfortably with everything during your visit. I wish I could go here for all of my healthcare needs.
Deziree' Halla: I recently visited here(4/15 morning) and WOW every single person that helped me was SO kind. I was very nervous for my appointment, but they all made me feel incredibly comfortable and welcomed. They answered all my questions, gave me recourses, and even asked if they could hug me. I left without feeling like i had been shamed or feeling like i inconvenienced them(which i usually feel that way leaving health centers because i can be a lot). I will only come here from now on. Thank you PLANNED PARENTHOOD :)
Steph: Update: I've had my birth control appointment canceled twice in 1 month already cause nobody is ever in on Saturdays it seems yet they keep allowing you to schedule for that day. Why bother if no one will be in to attend those patients? Just take that day off the booking calendar and don't play with people's fertility and lives. So unprofessional.Great health services, not so great customer service. Got to my appointment after driving 30 minutes and was instantly turned away since I brought my 2 year old with me who I can't leave at home alone cause her dad works full time. Any other medical place always let's you bring your child(ren) with no qualms.
Tehe: This place had Amazing staff and it was super kind n welcoming. ❤️
Berlin Devereaux: This has been twice now that I have been left outside seeking my birth control. I set an appointment through DocAsap and was never informed by this location that they are not opened on Saturdays. The hours on their center clearly say open on Saturdays. I have had to reschedule for a second time at a different location this time during my work week to get my birth control. I specifically scheduled a weekend appointment so that I wouldn’t have to take time away from work and make up extra hours just for my birth control. I have been very disappointed in Planned Parenthood. I was also forced to walk across the street to this location due to a marathon on the street. Planned Parenthood prides itself on privacy but I had to walk to my health center in front of dozens of people. There is no system to reach the healthcare centers directly so I was on hold the two times I called in only to be told by the answering service this location isn’t open on Saturdays nor the call centers. Highly disappointed and already a young woman who feels her reproductive health is under fire, not being able to have my birth control by setting up an appointment, makes me even more so. Rethink before booking this location or even Planned Parenthood. I have had a bad experience not only at this location but Gladstone as well.
Sierra: They did a great job of inserting my IUD. The nurse midwife was respectful, informative, and took her time to explain all the steps to me before they happened. She also provided great education and I left feeling empowered. The RHA employees were polite, professional, and gendered me correctly every time. I would go back here for further care!
Melonie Courtright: My experience with the team here has been excellent! From the telehealth intake and meeting with the doctor, to coming in and getting my blood drawn and the doctor making sure that I had what I needed to pick up my prescription I could not be happier! I felt respected, cared for and safe! Everyone is awesome and maple does great at drawing blood! Thank you planned parenthood for providing affordable services.
Meghan Thille: This place is fantastic!! Women need access to safe health care and this place is great. The nurses are very nice and informative. I’ve been going here for years.
Natalie James: The nurse practitioner, Jessica, should return to her institution where she got her education, and ask for her money back. Instead of Introducing herself In a more formal way and trying to learn relevant Information regarding my visit, she walked into the patient room, told me to lie back, and bragged about “this is all I do everyday”, but couldn’t answer the a general question like “how long does ovulation take?”; “how long does implantation take?”; nor did she have the decency to go look it up.I was livid because I had to tell the nurse practitioner that I wanted to know my options before agreeing to an IUD. I wanted to know how each one would work and the side effects of each. She seemed to become annoyed with my questions, and after a growing temper and crossing her legs — she stated “I’ll give you pamphlet after you choose so that you can know more about the particular one that you have inserted”.I quickly became doubtful of her expertise. I asked her why she felt or the science supports the copper IUD more, she repeatedly answered questions with “I cannot answer that, I don’t know.” She’s useless. She seemed to push the copper IUD decision on me but couldn’t tell me why it was better than the hormonal. The nurse practitioner that saw me is very prideful in a negative way that could affect the life of a patient. Instead of the insertion take the suggested 10-15 minutes. It took her 22 minutes of attempting to insert it, and she blabbed at the fact that it was because I was too narrow and hadn’t had kids. Almost, as if it was my fault that she hadn’t had proper training on insertion of IUD with standard and different sized canals.I sat in agony and disbelief for 22 minutes before requesting other support. She went to go get another lady named Chante who finished the process in 5 minutes.Clearly, the nurse practitioner should take some pointers from the midwife named Chante. The Nurse Practitioner’s moral concept seems to be way off from what Planned Parenthood preaches. As a medical school student, I question if she’s even worthy of being in field that honors the autonomy of the patient and beneficence of the practitioner to make sound decisions. That nurse practitioner Is failing her patients by not being informed and knowing the basics of reproductive health. Had she been able to answer those simple two questions, It would’ve made a difference in if I chose an IUD that was more sperm focused or an IUD that stopped implantation, as a form of emergency contraceptive. If the nurse practitioner with pale skin, Brown to reddish hair enters your room with loafers… RUN!
Michelle ishappy: What a nasty place.
elizabeth clements: I love Planned Parenthood! This location has definitely improved. I went in yesterday for an IUD. The midwife who placed my IUD was amazing! She had great energy, good vibes, she was so gentle, nice & patient & explained the whole process to me. I’m so happy I chose a great place to get this done.
Heather Johnson: The staff here have only ever been the kindest most caring people to me. I've been treated better when getting blood taken and having my immunizations done than with any professional Doctors office
Elisabeth Rademacher: My appointment was 3:30 an it was the most boring place I have ever been too
Summer Snowden: Painless IUD insertion! In and out within 1 hour. They accept my insurance and I was able to come in within a week of my appointment request! Danielle was amazing and can’t recommend her enough!! She was so nice and prompt! Thankful for PP and all their services to women
Michelle Canada: Made appointment 3 weeks ago was told that my pcp will only see sick patients when I told receptionist my concerns she asked the coordinator which made me appt for today. Got a call less then 1 he from my appt telling me that pcp will not see my hypertension and low potassium.
Mya G: Staff is amazing😄😄 I was very nervous at first but I was greeted with smiles and everyone made me feel so comfortable within minutes, they answered all of my questions and gave me many recommendations, I will definitely be coming back. There are some great women working here, doing a lot to help all of us out. Thank you all for such a welcoming and comforting environment.
Blake Abbott: They say no call is a good call but after 2 weeks I called only to find out they had lost my labs.. So I get stuck with a needle again wait another week and now they say blood was rejected. What should have taken a week has taking a month .Incompetence at it finest !
Amy Roppe: The staff here is amazing!
Lisa Hampton: Planned Parenthood offered me top notch OBGYN care in college when I had no health insurance and now again when I lost my job and health insurance in 2020. They’ve given me better care and customer service at low cost or no cost than many of the private OBGYNS I’ve been to where I’ve been billed thousands. I’m grateful to PP and plan on making a donation to pay it forward for the next woman who needs them.
Aphelia Johnson: This place is absolutely amazing! The staff is WONDERFUL and so welcoming! Lashay and Dr. Danielle were perfect! So nice and sweet I didn’t catch the first lady’s name I talked to when I came in but she had long pretty brown and blonde hair who was also amazing! I wish they did OBGYN because I would DEFINITELY go to them for all my needs
