Mick Christenson: I have never left a bad review of any company ever before. I had hired two gals and a broom to prepare my house for being listed and going on the market with my real estate agent. I have been out of town due to the move. They charged well over $500. My agent showed up with the movers and staging people only to find out that two of the bathrooms, and a few other parts of the house had not been cleaned at all. My agent had to clean these parts of the house. I did not find this out until later when I brought it to two gals and a broom’s attention. I suggested several things to remedy it from some money back to, a reduction on the final cleaning as my house did sell. Their response was that I should have called them when the agent noticed the house wasn’t clean to have them correct it. When I pointed out, my agent was paying the movers and stagers, and the photographer all by the hour and that we didn’t have that time or option. Two Gals have never responded to me and have not resolved this, and of course kept all my money. I would not recommend this company due to the poor service and even worse communication.Response- your response is not accurate or I would have never posted this. Also as I said before in my review we had teams of people there and no chance without extra expense on my side to hold off movers, staggers and photographer. I have a text from Linda in your office saying “we sound like we are not the cleaners for you and SHE cancelled the 2nd appointment. This was after I asked for either a portion returned for not cleaning 2 bathrooms and another room or a reduction on my 2nd visit. I was simply scolded for not letting you guys come back to clean what I paid for the first time. You are welcome to contact me to see your employee text. The fact also remains I have paid for something I didn’t get and you are reinforcing that with no solution besides to tell me I should have spent more with my realtor to let you fix your mistake.

They cleaned every inch they could reach until it was sparkling. Even mopped both floors and the bathrooms. All in that short amount of time.My only gripe is that the arrival window is way too big (4 hours) and they didn't have weekend availability when I was trying to book. Maybe all of those spots were already taken. I don't know what average person could sit around waiting for 4 hours on a weekday. Derek: I've hired Sunflower Maids several times in the last few years at 2 different apartments that I've lived in, and I have overall good but mixed feelings about the service.The good is that for a 1br/1ba apartment cleaning (in my case), it seems to be one of the more budget friendly services in the area. I also really like the convenience of being able to book cleaning services online, which makes things very flexible and easy. The cleaners I've had come, while I've only texted and chatted on the phone with them, seemed very nice and easy to work with. And, the office staff do seem to care about making sure things work out.That all being said, this is where I get a few mixed feelings. The quality of my cleaning services have not been consistently good. I have come home a few times and found things unacceptable to the point that I pulled out my supplies and re-did a few things just to have things fully cleaned. There's been a few other times it's been clean-ish, but not exactly feeling great that I just spent a good amount of money on it as a few things were sloppily done. And, let's be honest, as a single guy I'm probably not the most picky when it comes to house cleaning and am generally happy to just get the help. I'm also not a super confrontational person when it comes to this kind of stuff, so I have not called to address issues. That being said, most of the time I like and very much appreciate the work Sunflower Maids does and since I haven't tried to address the few issues I've had with management, I'm not going to give them a negative review.Will I hire Sunflower Maids again and/or recommend them to others? Yes, probably. 90% of the time, they're good. If you're not overly picky, and willing to deal with a few disappointing cleanings every now and then at the trade-off of online booking convenience and overall budget-friendliness, I'd say they're definitely worth consideration. While I do wish their consistency was a little better, I don't really want to spend double to get it and it's not worth spending more to get it; most of the time their work is very good. And, having online booking really is a rare treat that I have not found elsewhere in town. My move out clean was severely incomplete the first time, but customer service happily sent another worker for free. The second clean was acceptable, though not impressive, but weeks later I was charged for it after all when the cleaner claimed it took them $200 of extra time. My house was really standard project with no complications (2 bedroom house, lived in for only one year and cleaned frequently).It seems the cleaners can report any amount of time spent on a job that they’d like, with no oversight. They do not communicate with you at all; you will not know what time they are coming or when they are finished. mike smith: Let me tell you about this company. First they charged the agreed upon price of 299 to clean my house. Problem #1 the cleaner who was to arrive between 8 and 830 arrived at 11. Problem #2 paid addition 109 for carpet cleaning that was not done. Problem #3 the house was not clean when I arrived at 4pm, 5 hours after they arrived. They did send a new crew (for free) to actually clean the house which was nice. They also refunded the carpet cleaning fee. Problem #4 they charged me an extra 200 dollars after the fact and re-added the carpet cleaning charge. Spoke with a nice person who answered the phone, multiple times, she said we were charged 4 extra hours on the first clean because the crew was there for 8 hours. Of course they weren't because I have texts that show the cleaner arrived at 11 and was gone when I arrived at 4 pm. Three times I called and three times a message was passed on to her boss who never called me back. Also sent two emails that went unanswered. The first crew they sent did a horrible job and they had to send someone else, so how can they justify charging me for any extra time??????? And then the carpet cleaning fee?? One cleaner showed up 2 hours late after I called. For the most part I was happy with the cleaning, there were a few things missed but nothing big. However imagine my surprise to be charged $125 three weeks after that cleaning. After I had already paid $200. After trying multiple times to contact someone in regards to this charge, my husband called and was told it took them longer then expected. So I spent $350 to have about 1300 sq feet cleaned. canda h: Brian and his son did a great job. The job was vent cleaning and it was for 3 floors worth of vents. There were several things going oat my home which probably made it a much more difficult job for them but they didn't complain. They took care to make sure that they didn't damage anything and did their best to meet my expectations. Having the owner on site is truly a benefit when using this company because he cares about the job. I am happy with the work that was done and how everything was handled. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs this service.

I provided the details and areas to focus on and was told a price of $600 and that three people would come out for three hours to do a deep clean. I really felt that it is worth it to pay more for one very deep clean of the home before we move in so I was okay paying that much. Even though I asked the cleaners to come back because I did not feel that the initial cleaning was a deep clean or detailed enough (lots of dust left over), I still felt that I spent way too much for a very basic clean.
