Kylie Gould: I've worked with Best of Kansas City twice now to send gifts with personalized notes. Our first mailing included 32 shipments with a personalized handwritten letter in each box and the second was just one box, but shipped out of the country. They're extremely efficient and easy to work with. I definitely recommend buying from this store full of wonderful local KC product!
Oie White: Funny little shop

Jeff White: Great place to load up on sauces and rubs if you are into cooking your own BBQ. Gentleman working the store was very knowledgeable on all the different kinds they had and made choosing what I wanted a whole lot easier since there were so many different kinds to pick from. Definitely recommend a visit if you come across one of these stores.

Savory Spice Shop: what do users think?
Shannon Calegari: I loved the Brookside location and love the spices. There was at least parking. I went to your new location yesterday and could not find parking after 10 minutes, between the traffic and the parking I will not go back. I will be ordering online going forward.
Keena Dean: I cannot say enough good things about this place! One of their chili powders has become a staple of our family chili recipe. The manager Caleb went above and beyond to get me what I needed. I’m still blown away by his professionalism and how he went out of his way to help me. I’d give more stars if I could!!!
G stone: this place is alway fantastic! Some of the spices are expensive but the quality is worth the money! love the large salt free spices! I've been with the since they were in brookside.
Les Davis: This place has a large selection of spices, and they are well organized. But, most importantly, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful. I learned about some new spices while I was there, and I picked us some up. I cannot wait to try them out! I absolutely foresee coming back to this place.
Dawnel Davidson: Very helpful staff!
Zach Brown: friendly staff and a great selection of spices.
Sarah Osborn: Haven't been there.. but sure as goshdarn 'n gee-whilikers looks five stars!!!!! 👍 😆I'm serious.
Benjamin Tull: Beautiful had so many items and very organized sadly they didn’t have what we needed but I will come back for other stuff they where extremely nice
Thomas K. Smith: The staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly. They know I am Vegan and check the ingredients a second time to make sure. Also, all or almost all of their products there are gluten free 💚💚💚
Dale Winston: We came to this place a few days ago. Got home only to find out that these people do not seal their products. None of the bottles that we purchased had seals on them. He also gave us a few of these bottles with NO SEALS. Most likely returns from people who noticed the same thing.
James Clingan: If you tell them I sent you they may or may not give you $10 off your order. So if you like spices head on down there and get some really really good spices. You know the ones that you like
Claudia Robinson: I have shopped here since they opened and find their products fresher, better blended and have the bonus of being in less wasteful, more environmentally friendly packaging than other spice stores and especially anything you would buy from a grocery store. The staff is also knowledgeable and friendly.
Jayson Eggers: Great shop! Amazing products! Very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
The Barigirls: Selection and pricing are so reasonable, that you can't help but to wonder how come there are not more?
Gigi Drew: Custom made spices...how can u go wrong. Helpful n knowledgeable in staff. Try a custom rub
Thomas Robb: Lots to see in such a small shop. Reasonable prices for fresh and specialty spices. The staff is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We save by buying by the bag rather than the bottle. We have enough empties at home to reuse as well as reusing store brand bottles.
Amy Lyon: Somewhat pricey, but high quality and great service!
Mary: Really great advice and service. Products are fresh. Great little store, super website.
Mary Buxbaum: A lovely shop, filled with all kinds of spices both familiar and exotic. Spices can be purchased in bulk for whatever amount you need. Some fun things: a variety of sugar mixtures, vanilla extract kits (got one!), and a nice selection of barbecue sauces that are not all the typical KC kind. Plus, there are many opportunities for sampling the different spices. The store owner is welcoming and very helpful. A recommended visit if you're in the Brookside area -- or just a special trip!
Rachael Heyd: Really enjoyed my first time in this shop today! The sales woman was very kind and it was easy to ask questions. There was lots of variety and was unexpectedly affordable. I took advantage of their latest sale and left feeling very satisfied with my purchases. Looking forward to going back.
Becki Wright: The best, most helpful employees. Huge fan of their spices as well.

The Vitamin Shoppe: what do users think?
Mastiff Associates: When I was in college at UMKC, I used to go to the Vitamin Shoppe, and it was just okay. But now that I've moved back to the neighborhood, I've noticed that the store has really stepped up its game. The new store layout is awesome - it's so easy to find what you need. And the employees are super friendly and helpful. One of the guys even helped me find a pre-workout that didn't have any caffeine, which was exactly what I was looking for. They all seemed to have great product knowledge, and weren’t being pushy salesmen like you get at GNC.Also, I swear this shop has the best bottled water…I’ll be stocking up. They also gave me a free sample of the Alani Greens powder. Can’t go wrong with that!
Margo Manning: There seems to have been a change in associates. The past couple times I have went in there it almost feels I am and inconvenience. I understand the store has been going through a change around for a month or so which can be stressful, but the vibe is just different. I am not sure how much need I will have to go back to the store since the product I use is no longer sold. I loved going there when the associates were more personable and kind even if they were busy.
Mikki Cassel: This is a great little shop. I like it, not many know about it. You can get in and get out. You have personable service, answer any questions you have.
Kenyon Cochran: First of all, this used to be my favorite Vitamin Shoppe store to get my supplements. After today, that’s no longer the case. I can no longer subject myself to the treatment I’ve received at this store, as of late. The last straw was when I ordered some items online using a promo code that was advertised in the app. I received a notification that all of my items were ready for pickup and I proceeded to the store to retrieve them. Upon arriving at the store, I was told that one of the items were unavailable, due to a specific flavor being sold out, but there were other flavors available to exchange for it. I was totally fine with that so I found the replacement flavor and walked it to the counter. While in the store talking to the original associate, another associate walked in and settled himself in behind the counter. I mentioned to that associate that I had a conversation with the first associate about exchanging the unavailable item for the one I brought to the counter. He told me that I would have to pay full price for this item and that it couldn’t be swapped out for inventory reasons. I understood that but that’s not what the original associate mentioned in our previous conversation. I asked the original associate for clarity on what he mentioned to me and that’s when the associate behind the counter begins to say that I’m being rude and confrontational. Never have I ever gotten out of line with anyone at that store! In fact, I used to talk at length to the previous employees. All I was trying to do was get the item for the same price I was quoted when I bought the item online but I was called rude for that. Being in a customer service job most certainly can be frustrating but if a customer is seeking to understand, you provide that clarity in a respectful way. This could have all been avoided with them just swapping out the product for the same price I paid for it originally. Instead, the situation escalated to an unnecessary point and the attitude on this guy was unacceptable. I’ll be shopping on Amazon from here on out. The prices are better anyway!
JP Clayton: Showed up at 7:56pm to buy a pre workout drink, door was locked. Knocked on the door and a guy with glasses came to the door and said “We’re closed.” I said don’t you close at 8 and he said “Sorry were closed already.”So my wife and I walked over to Costentinos to grab our drinks and saw this when we walked back to our car. Apparently the guy running the store had “more important” things to do than sell products to a customer 👍🏾
Groove Nation Beats: They had what I was specifically looking for after waiting months for GNC to have it in stock. Its my fault for not coming here sooner.
Glenn Sager: Always has what I need at very competitive prices!
Kara Richards: Excellent customer service!
robert mason: My favorite place to get my supplements
Laverne Kindle: Got what you need
Amber Huyck: Small selection, staff had no knowledge of what they even carried let alone uses for the products
Scott Cohen: Staff was very helpful in finding me what I was looking for within my budget.
Evelyn Case: I find everything I need
Collins: Isa was very helpful and actually seemed like he wanted to be there
Tanya Dixon: Great variety of supplements and etc. Not so much on toiletries.
Michael Renfrow: Very helpful and polite.
Jenny Baker: The store is clean
Jeffery Fielder-Bey: Fantastic customer service and friendly staff. Anisa is the best. Ask for her!
Loutinia Owens: 💪
Oie White: Good deal lot of sales
Hott Rodz: Limited stock on some items

The Vitamin Shoppe: what do users think?
John F: I like shopping at The Vitamin Shoppe. They have a wide range of vitamins and supplements, from protein powders and bars to natural beauty and skin products. They also have aromatherapy and organic items, which I appreciate. The store is clean and well-organized, and the staff is great. They are very friendly and helpful, and they always answer my questions and give me good recommendations. The only downside is that the prices are a little high compared to other places, but I guess you get what you pay for. The Vitamin Shoppe on Skyview Avenue is a good place to find quality products and excellent service.
Mike Price: My wife was having kidney stones and they had the stone crusher that is hard to find. Thankyou so much.
California Doll: Unprofessional! I went in this past Sunday. I walked in and saw 1 male employee bent over the counter TEXTING, instead of greeting me or asking me if I needed help, he ignored me and continued texting. I saw a female employee and asked her for help (she was helpful.) The male employee needs to be spoken to by management. Extremely unprofessional!
Rational Remedies: Dear Vitamin Shoppe,I wanted to take a moment to express my deep gratitude for the exceptional service I received from the clerk who helped me on Saturday. I had just been to the vet in an emergency on Friday, where I was told that my beloved dog was going to die because I did not have $2500 to buy a specific medicine and hospitalize them. I was devastated and felt hopeless. However, after researching all night, I found a couple of things that could potentially help my dog and had a few questions. When I called your store, he listened intently and immediately asked how he could help. I explained my situation, and he dropped everything to assist me.He answered all my questions perfectly and provided me with valuable information on the products that could potentially save my dog's life. He was patient, kind, and knowledgeable, which gave me the confidence I needed to purchase the products. Thanks to His exceptional service, my dog's life has been saved, and I owe it all to him. I cannot thank him enough for his kindness, empathy, and professionalism. He went above and beyond to help me during a difficult time, and I will always be grateful for his assistance. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Vitamin Shoppe to anyone in need of quality products and exceptional customer service. Thank you again, for everything you did for me and my dog.Sincerely,A now lifelong customer!!!!!
Justus Cole: Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Donald Simkin: Solar brand meets all plant based. Non gmo, non gluten requirements. The employees at the Skyview location just off Ambassador Dr, KCMO 65154 are knowledgeable as well as friendly while being quick to locate what item you request.
Evelyn Zacharias: I Always receive top notch service. They have the supplements that I need
Extreme Entertainment: Employee was nice. Selection is OK. Prices kinda high
Teresa Jawhari: Only go when I need something,
Austin Keithly: Can’t even open within their posted business hours. 16 minutes past their posted business hours and still not open.
Kenny Lero: I liked it
Ambie Bambi: Nice clean parking lot. Clean store. Plenty of parking.
Darrellene Green: So nice and helpful to find what I needed.
Clary LOPEZ: I was told by a friend to go to this store and get supplements to prevent Covid. My friend told me that the staff was excellent. That was not my experience. The staff wS busy with a delivery and was not helpful at all. Between answering the phone and taking care of the delivery there was no time for questions explanations or anything. I spent 60 bucks and Im not sure that I bought what I needed. I don’t think that I will go back. If I knew the service will be so bad I would just stay home and order through Amazon. Not worth the risk of getting on icy roads to get poor customer service.
Amanda McAlister: This is me and my husband's favorite spot. Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable. They now offer my favorite protein NO COW so I'm really excited about that. But if you are looking for a place this is the one
l. coney: Long time vitamin shoppe patron. All my supplements, vitamins, and protein comes from ONLY here!
Brian: Always friendly service and they help you find what you need. I love shopping here.
Deanne Foreman: The people who work here are very nice. They explain everything for you.
Sean Clarke: I suggest you download the app. They always have discount emails. I buy my energy drinks here at better prices than the grocery store. You can get in and out very quick. Finding the front of the store was a little weird.
Jon M: People are always helpful and eager to answer questions to the best of their ability.
Dana Cheney: Isopure is listed as $9.98 online but on the website it's actually $19.99

The Home Depot: what do users think?
Jeff Fleming: I had to wait a while to get a question answered. Also, they were out of stock on items I needed.
Mike Radabaugh: Same good friendly service as any other Home Depot. I like that they do not change their floor plan so I can quickly shop and get back to my project, 2023.
john mccarty: No one there wants to help you. I ended up going to Westlake on North Antioch to get what I need. Their help is wonderful
William Vega: Big box hardware store. Typical
Cathy Whitney-Vuchetich (Cathy): I have been looking for a hummingbird feeder bottle washer. They had it.
John F: I visited the Home Depot on Old Pike Road last week and I was impressed by their selection and service. They had everything I needed for my DIY project, from tools and materials to friendly and knowledgeable staff. The store was clean and well-organized, and the checkout process was fast and easy. I especially liked the garden center, where I found some beautiful plants and pots for my patio. The Home Depot is my go-to place for all my home improvement needs. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality products and great customer service. Plus, they have a truck rental service, so you can haul your stuff home without any hassle.
Ruben Hinojosa: Always a great place for picking up the needed home improvement materials. Also a good place for getting nice plants and landscaping ideas. And thank you Home Depot for the choice parking spots. Our veterans deserve favor.
mark lintz: I started going to Menards and shopping. They don't have the self-checkout . They don't have in a locked up..
James Manley: Helpful staff.
Jack B. Hartman: Great prices as always.
Carol Jones: Went to Home Depot this morning Looking for assistance and lumber. DERWIN Was a great help A Big Whooop Whooop !!
Jack B Hartman: I love Home Depot.
don colston: Just what ya expect
Caroline Milam: Super nice place to shop. Great customer service. Nice selection. However, hard to navigate with ride on carts, or wheelchairs.
Steven Shoemaker: Lumber is tough to sort thru when you get smaller than a 2x4 the store map is worthless bays are not mark. You might as well just seek a store employee.
Kylie: This home depot actively, willingly and consciously kills animals and birds in cruel ways.In the garden center, they have netting along the ceiling to prevent birds from nesting. The birds can get inside this netting, but cannot get out. I have witnessed a bird starving to death up there and panicking for a way out. This is extremely upsetting for me and others to witness, not to mention needlessly cruel. There was also a nest of baby birds that were sitting in a Shrub outside and our team of vendors set it aside and kept an eye on it, making sure it wasn't taken or sold. The next day the nest was gone. I believe someone in the home depot team took the nest and killed them while we were gone.I don't know what it is with this home depots management, but how are you going to have a garden center and then get upset when something that is apart of nature comes along? I would much rather see happy, chirping birds than starving and dying birds in a garden center, and i'm sure most others would agree.Your handling of this is extremely cruel and upsetting. Every single life is sacred.
Tanja K: The lady who helped us in the paint department was exceptional, but it was her last day there. The other associates we encountered were pleasant, and the checkout line was speedy.
Gary Lefever: Tried to buy a mower today but could not access the mower to put it on a cart due to the section being closed for stocking. The stocker stopped to answer phone calls while people were waiting.Crazy.
Anne Simpson: Prices are too high and staff is so inexperienced
Nancy Tennant: We went to buy mulch and edging for our flower garden.
STRICKLANDTERRY23: Love this store, when I working on things in or on the house, this is my go to store....love it

The Roasterie Factory Cafe: what do users think?
Ben Williams: I took the roastery tour today, and it was both enjoyable and incredibly informative. Nick was knowledgeable about the entire coffee process, and was great with the crowd. I would highly recommend taking the tour!
Ty: Cool, unique place to visit! Great atmosphere and customer service! Coffee was fantastic and they have excellent pastries as well!
Kiela Mills: We were traveling through and saw the airplane from the highway so we ventured back that following morning. Omg the coffee is smooth and flavorful. The building and factory is neat to explore too. Would return if lived there. Definitely check it out.
Greg Bem: A very unique spot with some great decor. Loved the flight theme. If there's any room for improvement, I'd say a better way to manage the crowds at the espresso bar would go a long way.
Heavy-P: Friendly staff. Great tour.
Luke Vaughn: Everyone on staff is really pleasant, thanks for taking care of me!
Christián Henry PhD: Good coffee.
Donnie Carr: Very friendly, awesome atmosphere.
judy Gregory: Love this factory. I’m addicted to the coffee!
Paul Jones: Fun to visit and watch how they prepare and roast all of the different coffees
Dave Willingham: Enjoyed our tour on a Saturday with a great, energetic guide who explained all of the samples and took you on the nice, little joureny of the Roasterie. Probably even better during the week when they are roasting the coffee during the day, but we enjoyed all of the sample options with some foundational information to enjoy coffee even more. Nice cafe for a before or after treat and coffee.
Becky Acheson: Awesome experience doing the tour. Coffee was great. They have merch and a small amount t of lunch options. They make their own nitro cans.
Jamie Wiley: Great place to plug in and work, food options while you're there and coffee is super delicious.
David McBee: The tour was “fine.” Kinda underwhelming.
Richard Dickison: 27th near Southwest BlvdLocal Cool Coffee ShopThis is THE Kansas City coffee shop. The Kansas City Blend is legendary. Worth a visit and even a quick tour to taste the goods. A must see.
Brett Janssen: The tour is great and there are plenty samples included, which were great as well. The staff seemed to enjoy it there as well, which is a good sign!
Brittany Miller: We had the pleasure of taking a tour this morning and had the best tour guide, Boston. He was so knowledgeable and you could really tell he had a passion for coffee. We learned so much and really enjoyed the tastings. We took the same tour about 5 or 6 years ago, and enjoyed it enough to come back a second time and I’m so glad we did. Thank you, Boston!
Sara Jane Koch: Horrible. They shoved their personal beliefs down my throat when I was just trying to get a cup of coffee.
Alexandria DeSpain: Stopped in from Oklahoma City for work and had the pleasure of speaking with Anna, the manager at this location. Truly one of the kindest people I’ve met, with some of the best coffee out there. A few of the many reasons I’ll be back to this spot again!
James Baber: I used to have a 5 star rating for The Roasterie. I'm in Denver and so have relied on shipments; I've been a customer for almost 8 years.Post-Covid The Roasterie has SIGNIFICANTLY raised shipping prices and don't seem to give one flipping care about subscribers anymore. $14 shipping to a neighboring state for a 2 lb bag? HAHAHAHA!!! The Roasterie has clearly decided to profit on shipping costs when everyone knows it doesn't cost $14 to ship a 2 lb package. Shame on you.
Jordan Cole: An exceptional tour. Our tour guide was fun, and created a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. His knowledge of the company, the coffee and the roasting process was educational and entertaining. While the tour was an hour and a half, the time flew right by, as they kept us well caffeinated. Ease into the day of your coffee drinking. The start of the tour is just a small sample, and then the end of the tour feels like a dash to the finish line; falling just short of an over caffeinated heart attack. The tour was started with a light roast and concluded with a comparison two coffees from Brazil. But wait, there was more… just when we thought the tour was over we were introduced to the Cold Brew section. Which was pitched as a sampling of 5 different types… but why did I have and taste what I thought was 7 different flavors? Well, as only what I’d call a social coffee drinker, I was well on my way to solving the worlds problems with all of the energy I had while exiting their doors. Needless to say, I was impressed by the quality, the tour, and most of all our tour guide. Toured at 10AM on Saturday Jan 14, 2023, and I was so hyped I missed our guides name. But simply tipping him wasn’t even and he deserves further praise. Here’s a shout out to him.
