Linda Cheung: Parisian quality chocolates in Kansas City. Their fruit bonbons are intensely fruity and moderately sweet not overly sweet. I don’t usually enjoy white chocolate but their seasonal raspberry caramel is one of the best. My other favorites are the rosemary, lavender, fleur de sel, and banana foster bonbons and the dark chocolate fleur de sel pecan caramels. Their KC storefront is nice for fresh chocolates with little to no packaging. I’ve since moved to Los Angeles but still love ordering and trying their new seasonal collections every year.

These chocolates were so beautiful and unique that I couldn't bring myself to destroying one by eating it for the first day. By the second day, I couldn't resist and ate four or five. On the third day, I am ashamed to say that I finished off the entire box. The flavors were so decadent and also unique. I especially loved the raspberry ganache and the aztec spice. If you want to impress someone who loves chocolates, this is the place to buy them. I highly recommend based on appearance and taste.

Rather than feeling rushed, the service I received was top-notch and friendly -- Jasmine was incredibly patient and friendly with us, offering suggestions to our indecisive selves. Josh also was working diligently and meticulously in the background to make sure we had all the flavor options available stocked. The store is immaculate, and for any who may be intimidated by the prices, I want to encourage you to treat yourself, because everything is delicious--the fruit pate is even vegan!

The staff is confused on what they should do to serve or wait on people.Coffee was mid, and the food/pastries were mid. Cleintelle was older, so if you're old this place is great. Otherwise, staff is rude, incompetent, and annoying. One woman in particular took the time to stop waiting her tables and went to our table (which she wasn't waiting on) and said my sister-in-law couldn't bring in food, and she was feeding my nephew. Like, alright, let me take out the food from his belly and throw it in the trash and eat gluten even though she's allergic.Look at my reviews, they're not this long or this bad. Literally worst place/experience in KC. Credit to the male and female baristas up front, very kind folk that served our coffee. Sherry Cappo: Every time I have been to the Leawood location they are out of ingredients to make the chocolate shake. I was told to call ahead. For a chocolate milkshake? Never had this issue at the plaza location and the visited on a regular basis. Leawood has far less items than the plaza. I’m done with this place since it’s a far drive.
Lauren James: Went to get chocolate for my grandmother the young lady working was very helpful and knowledgeable of the products available. After I had completed my purchase she gave me a few extra pieces of tissue paper for packing up so that chocolates would arrive safely via mail to NY. This will be my new stop for chocolate
Johnny Perz: Truly one of the finer establishments I have been to, in both quality and hospitality/service. Whenever I go in everyone is very friendly and warm making it super easy to have conversations with. They are veterans when it comes to chocolates and make the best chocolates I have tasted. Not only are their chocolates top tier, the drink menu is phenomenal as well. The hot chocolate was excellent for the winter season. Very rarely can I go, but when I do it is easily the highlight of my day!

They just didn’t taste good.

We had a hard time finding the chocolate to look at because the focal point is the “bar” area where you order/check out. When we asked where the chocolate was, they pointed to the shelves behind us. Nothing was labeled with any prices. They were barely labeled with flavors. I asked about if the chocolate was Gluten Free and the person gave me a very round about answer. I couldn’t find ingredient list easily on the products.We ordered a couple of drinks, latte and London fog, and got a candy bar. Spent $25 and really didn’t find anything to be that amazing.We would have loved to buy a couple of truffles to try instead of the un priced box of 6 truffles. But oh well! I’m sure this place is amazing but we won’t be back.
William Fitzpatrick: OMG. I love chocolate and these are fabulous chocolates. Yes, pricey, but probably the best you will ever have. Found out that the chocolatier is 1 of only 2 grand Master Chocolatier's in the country! Well worth the stop.

They make everything extremely fresh so a lot of things need to be called in ahead of time. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and clearly take pride in what they do. So excited to try the champagne truffles we also got!
