Bon-die Fortner: I tried the Izabella (chicken sandwich) with the regular style thigh. The chicken was very tasty and pretty large. The profile of the sandwich was definitely picture-worthy. The potatoes were also delicious (not a "French fry" fyi).The bread fell apart with every bite which made for a messy experience and most of the bread left on the plate. Parking was also a minor inconvenience.All said though, it was a solid 4 🌟 star experience.
Debrah McDaniel: Solid chicken place! The beer cheese potato soup was tasty, but just know its not a chunky soup. The spicy chicken sandwich is giant and crispy. I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of the gorgonzola cheese on there but I'm sure you could order without if that's your preference. The potatoes that came with the sandwich were awesome too.
K K: This place has a lot going for it. First off, menu simplicity. My experience is the best restaurants have the smallest menus. If you stay small you can perfect and focus on what you do well. This place definitely does that. Also, this is a weird one, but the night I went, they were out of the rotisserie chicken. This is a positive to me. See, good stuff is usually in short supply, if a restaurant never runs out of an item, I tend to think they over prepare which means i wonder every time I order, if this is really the freshest??? So the chicken wings here were perfectly crispy and the sauce had the perfect amount of sweetness to it. The chicken tenders are great, taste good and a reasonable portion. The cheesy mashed potatoes that come with the tenders are great also. My 9 year old ordered the fried catfish, and gave it rave reviews along with the sauces provided. Something to add that won’t be your experience necessarily but my son has ASD , this place did not leave him feeling overstimulated or overcrowded. The casual feel to quality food ratio was perfect. The only con my son had was the soft drinks are sold by the can and he didn’t like being limited without refills.All that aside, this place does chicken very very good. The service was great, the servers knew the menu well and did great recommendations. They have a good balanced drink menu as well. You can use the parking garage to the west, although it seems like a tight fight most suvs will fit. Don’t miss out on a quality meal for a good price.

The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the gravy was rich and flavorful. The portions were generous and the service was friendly and attentive.What I also loved about Stroud's was the history behind it. The restaurant started as a BBQ joint in 1933, when Prohibition had just been repealed and the country was between two World Wars. During World War II, when beef was rationed, Helen Stroud started serving pan-fried chicken for only $.35! Since then, Stroud's has become a Kansas City institution, winning many awards and attracting celebrities like Eric Clapton, Yogi Berra and Wolfgang Puck.Stroud's is more than just a restaurant, it's a piece of American history. Alisa West: I'm a person who travels often for work, and I love trying local eateries. Clustertruck had a ton of positive reviews, so I was sold. I should have known something was off when I tried to call and got a voicemail asking to text. Which no one answered until after i finally got the pickup order, but thats another story. Finally found the correct door to ring doorbell and they had food ready to go which was very cool. I ordered a burger combo and pork tacos along with quac and queso. It was kind of a bummer. You can tell the burger patty was frozen and had no flavor other than sweet from the bun. The sidewinder fries were good. I was hoping to get some redemption from the tacos since they have bacon, but they had no flavor even with sauces. The bacon didn't taste like bacon :(....The queso tastes like they melted the Blanco Velveeta and added cream. The quac was the best thing even tho it was browned. I'm super bummed bc I was ready for them to represent but sadly no. I spent 45 bucks ...man im sad :(Hopefully yall have better luck.

The bacon wasn't great quality. Tasted like someone poured bacon bits over the top and that wasn't what I expected.Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. The service and timing was great but the quality of food just isn't worth the cost.

I have had a full range of items from salads that were plentiful in freshness, variety, and ingredients to the roasted chicken sandwich. The chicken was juicy and moist and dripping with goodness, so many robust flavors! The Pad Thai was great when I was sick and on a gluten free diet, again, full of flavor and ingredients! I have had numerous deliveries over the last several years. Each driver was patient, courteous, pleasant, and on time!!

They keep you up to date on timing s d even let you know what vehicle so look for. My food has consistently came in the 15-25 minute time frame that was estimated. Markus Dixon: Really unique chicken burgers. I tried the mini and a side of slaw for a late evening snack. Great crispness and texture. It comes with sauce on the side, which is smart. The slaw was effing amazing. The base is red cabbage. It also came with a dressing on the side. One of the best slaws I've had. I can't wait to go back and try more items.

Brittany Martinez: Sandwich taste great but I wasn’t sure why the bottom of my bread was bluish-green. I couldn’t tell if it was mold because the bread was wet and soggy. My sandwich had red cabbage on it that bleeds purple, but this was a bright green color which is NOT from the purple cabbage and dyed my napkin a green color. Purple Cabbage bleeds purple not green. The only color of green was on the bread not the cabbage. I cook with purple cabbage and understand the difference.

Mitchel Johnson: The food is always good and people are normally kind although it is Kansas City so I don't expect kind service with locally owned businesses. But tonight I guess you guys closed early and then the employee who communicated that to me was extremely rude and ignored me. That alone makes me never want to give you guys my money again. I love your chicken but not that much to excuse be treated like that. I'm not here to get anyone fired but closing early when multiple sites says 12:30 am and then being rude and out of pocket in how you communicate that is an issue for me. Do better!

Marci C: This was a nice place to go to get great chicken gizzard but not any more. They are over cooked and tuff to chew. More on the burnt side. We tried 3 more times and the same results different time of day each time. The service has gone down too. They didn't get are order right 2X. Spent more time talking to each other than servicing people. Sad was good place once upon a time. The one in Kansas seems to be better. It is a ways away but worth the trip.
