Hotel Phillips Kansas City, Curio Collection by Hilton: what do users think?
Long Pham: Central to the Convention Center and Power&Light, and the KC Streetcar the location is very convenient to everything. The hotel is also next to the bus stop to the airport (229-KCI/Boardwalk) if you want an inexpensive, but slow way (fare-free for 2023) to reach the airport.Typical small rooms it seems for Curio properties, and office buildings reimagined as hotels. Room was clean, nice desk, big screen TV.Briefly visited the Diamond lounge. Had a few packaged snacks and drinks, did not take advantage.Did not test out the wifi since the area had good 5G coverage.
Andrew Kolman: Stayed here while seeing a show at the Midland so I didn't really get a chance to check out everything. I liked how they've kept the original look, even in the rooms. It felt fancy. Seemed quiet. Bed was comfy but room could have been a bit cleaner - that's my only complaint. That and they need a snack machine so there's something to eat at night, but maybe I just didn't find it.Rooms: Smaller but upscale feel to the rooms.Nearby activities: Very short walk to Midland Theater and other attractions.Noteworthy details: Parking is expensive but hotel doesn't set the garage prices. Just don't leave unless you need to because it's $20 every time you leave.
Charmell Hall: My room was small for 2 ppl, but extremely clean, great staff, great location- definitely upgrade to a larger suite if you aren’t traveling aloneRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jim Merz: Your going to spend a lot for a rundown Hotel. Had two rooms BOTH drains did not drain. The pictures are from the second room, not the first room. Front desk staff was horrible when checking in and out. When we checked out both front desk staff on their phones, never looked up. The first valet guy was awesome and the maintenance guy was nice and got us another room. The cost to what you get was to great… stay at another hotel many other options in the power and lights area.
Hakim Abdilahi: STAY AWAY!!!!!! BED BUGS & FILTHY HOTEL!!! 2star motel vibe- could never be 4star. The pictures are a complete trap to make you think this place is even close to decent. Trashy hotel, dirty rooms ( there was blood stain on the side of the bed), parking ramp nearby is tiny and unsafe. There is nothing good to say about this place.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Jeremy Chapman: We loved our stay at this historic hotel. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. The room was beautiful, though a little small. We got to stop by the Diamond Lounge for a snack and drinks, and had a nice breakfast in the restaurant the next morning. The location was in easy walking distance of the Kauffman Center, where we were in town to see a concert. Very happy with our stay here. We parked in the garage on the same block for $18 per day.
Jessica Montaño: This is a great hotel. The building is old, so some features show their age. However, rooms are updated and are beautiful.Cons: The walls have cracks and repaints. The elevator floors are kinda gross.Pros: antique features. Crown molding. Letter delivery down the elevator shaft to the lobby. Just an antique atmosphere. The shower in our room flooded the floor because the curtain doesn’t reach all the way down and water sprayed out. The shower faucet was disgustingly covered with water scum/mildew. Sink faucet and handles were loose. There’s a giant mirror across the toilet (weird lol)Every employee we interacted with was amazing.Valet service is $34/day.We booked a 1 king room and got a 2 queen. Kinda annoying but we didn’t feel like addressing it at midnight. So unsure of their resolution. Our door didn’t read our cards in the first room, and they immediately fixed the issue and didn’t make us change rooms.Rooms start on the 5th floor - goes up to 20 floors. Elevators are very small.Nearby activities: Great choices or the tram takes you to good choicesWalkability: Close to a few things downtown. Market close by, tram stop right there, Live! Is down the street and so is union station.
hopperado: Central location downtown. Miserable service levels: no one at the reception upon arrival, now Wi-Fi signal (USA, 21st century!), strange bargaining for later checkout by a bored receptionist playing with his phone.Impressive interior design, foyer in particular.Good breakfast service, yet dishes only a la carte, no coffee distributors.Noteworthy details: No Wi-Fi.
Kathryn Gifford: This hotel is beautiful! Our room was clean and had a great view of the city. We were in walking distance of multiple areas to visit. We’ll be back next time we visit KC!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Great value …More
Samantha Wilson: Gorgeous hotel with great service! Everyone was very hospitable. My only complaint is that we couldn’t find anywhere in the hotel or within walking distance to buy water/other nonalcoholic drinks or snacks. Our room style also didn’t have a fridge (not sure if any of them do) so we couldn’t save leftovers from the restaurants we went to. Vending machines or a little shop would be a nice addition!
Francis Wong: I truly loved it during my stay. Location was perfect and my room (the hotel) was super clean. It was easy to walk around the area. I could catch the city train to get around when it was close enough. otherwise, I just got in to a ride to head out further. I highly recommend this hotel.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
J Baker: Nice atmosphere in the speakeasy. I got the impression they they didn't really want to make any special drinks that were not on their pre-made list.
VISION FOWARD MEDIA LLC.: Beautiful hotel within downtown KC! great for business meetings , R and R , and engagement photos!
Tina Robbins: Enjoyed our stay here—really neat old building that still retains its charm even with modern updates. Our room was clean, nicely and simply decorated. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable and the bathroom fairly spacious for its size. the staff was super friendly and helpful. Added bonus is being so close to the streetcar and other attractions. Definitely would stay here again.
Debra Hall-Koftinow: Fabulous service and accomadations.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jordan Hayden: Classic hotel reminded me of a 1920’s Style architecture.

Sherri Berger: Omg...love, love this hotel. It's a beautiful boutique hotel. Everyone working there was so nice, friendly, and helpful. They bent over backwards to make my stay a good one...and I got upgraded to a large, beautiful suite which added to the incredibleness of my trip.Rooms: Exquisite decor...very peaceful and elegant. Beautiful art, all the conveniences, lots of USB outlets, Kurig coffee machine with really good coffee pods, TV with Netflix and Amazon prime, love the deep tub, bathroom has a beautiful marble floor, plush towels, great pillows and bedding. Can't wait to return.
A Godley: The Raphael Hotel was just lovely! Such character and ambiance, beautiful! Our room was excellent! Clean and nicely decorated! We had a great view of The Plaza too! Everyone was friendly and helpful. We loved that Chaz is both their restaurant and bar with live music! How enjoyable! Loved that we could walk to and from the plaza area. Lots of shopping and fun things to do. We had a lovely stay!
Debbie Simpson: The accouting department is lacking. I always have to request an itemized receipt more than 2 times. As of today I've emailed 3 times for 3 different dated receipts for my manager. sitll nothing. Now I am going to contact the General Mgr.Noteworthy details: Need to train accounting to get the job done
Tiffany Pollard: This was my first stay at The Raphael Hotel, Autograph Collection. I stayed in a 1 king suite for 2 nights (Sunday - Tuesday) for a work event.ARRIVAL/CHECK-IN: I arrived at 1:30p; check-in took a couple minutes max. Very efficient!ROOM: Prior to arrival, I contacted the hotel to request a quiet room away from elevators. I was assigned room #909.• Amenities: Hair dryer, Keurig, luggage racks, mini fridge (keeps drinks very cold!), robe, safe; no microwave• Bath: The only real issue with my stay - loved the deep tub & excellent pressure, but the water bounced between scalding hot & freezing cold. It happened both mornings & one evening, so it wasn't a fluke. In fact, I couldn't even stand under the shower head the second day.• Bed: Bed was decently comfortable, but the sheets were rough/scratchy. I'm glad I brought my own soft pillow.• Cleanliness: Very clean! Housecleaning tidied up my room before 1p the next day.• Decor: Standard• Heating/cooling: Comfortable temp, quiet unit• Sound: Very quiet• TV: Smart television. Clear reception w/ decent selection of channels.• View: 49th & Wornall (back of the hotel)• WiFi: Strong, worked well in room & conference areaCUSTOMER SERVICE: Excellent all-around, including the bellhop, front desk, valet, even the chat feature. In addition, the hotel graciously honored late check-out, which worked out perfectly for my work event.LOCATION/PARKING:• Location: Within walking distance of many restaurants & shopping• Parking: Included in our meeting rateWould I recommend/stay again? Yes, absolutely!

Hotel Indigo Kansas City Downtown, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Julie Sleister: Great place. Stayed there a few times. Comfy beds, clean, and great staff. Water pressure isn't great. The only thing I would warn about is that you best be OK hearing whatever is going on in your bathroom when someone else is in there.Back again. Quiet bathroom this time. Hotel Indigo has become our "go to" when heading downtown.
Fallon Brooks: Hotel Indigo’s lobby is beautiful. The parking garage next door was super affordable with an $18/day max and very convenient to the hotel. The elevators are fast and we never had to wait for one. Our room and bathroom were nicely decorated and clean. The value for the price is fantastic!Walkability: This hotel was super close to everything we wanted to be near. We didn’t take the car out the garage the entire weekend.

Kyle Quandt: Very unique and nice place to stay. The rooms are decorated well, the staff was friendly and provided great service. Noise level was low and the restaurant downstairs, while not free, was amazing. Tara Johnson RN: Hosted my daughters bridal shower here and yhe staff was AWESOME! THANK YOU Lauren, Angela and Adam.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5 …More
M Linzie: We don’t typically stay in IHG hotels but we decided to try this one out. The hotel itself is in a good location in Downtown Kansas City and the walkability to the various restaurants and activities was a plus. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The smell and quality of the bath products offered was nice. The on-site restaurant was good as we had breakfast there. The front desk staff at check in and during the stay was great, however, the same can’t be said about the front desk staff at check out - which sort of put a damper on our overall stay (never saw the same staff twice).
Eric Hackler: Loved it, great rooms and service. Good location.Rooms: Nice, clean and spaciousNearby activities: You can walk to about whatever you want to do or seeSafety: Yeah they have security guards and security drive thrus. But it's not bad use common sense. But if you observe you can learn which dumpster to dive and come out aheadWalkability: It is very walkable just a few blocks from plFood & drinks: Good food on hand
Garrett Geringer: Good location and great rooms for the price. Valet parking is your best option for parking and that runs only $28.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Kim Sharitz: Nearby activities: Pretty close walk to T-Mobile Center which is where we were going.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet …More
The RC: Wouldn't let us even come in and look around to consider staying there. Stopped at the door and turned us away because we weren't already guests. Unreasonably rude - clearly not interested in hospitality. Would NOT stay here or recommend.Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Dilshod: The showers with half a glass door was a bit strange. But, overall a good stay.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Aviane W: I'm a fan of IHG Hotels. Location was great however, someone texts me about my arrival she even texts to follow up. I advised I wanted housekeeping daily. And a quiet room. I did get the quiet room but on the first night no housekeeping after I called and advised I was out my room. As I arrived the next day after a long day-my room keys didn't work. I called for valet when I came down he didn't even get the call. Overall, I think I was just hoping for everything to run smooth. Things happen but service was just very relaxed for me. Great location though. Nice people
Kiri Zeuto (Mawri): This place is amazing! It's very pretty. Clean, well-managed. They allowed me and family to bring our dog too, which was quite surprising. A little gripe being so near to Main and Truman, resulting in some dense traffic, but otherwise, this is great! I definitely would like to stay here again.Food & drinks: Integrated restaurant. Best if you get the vouchers with the stay though. Out of pocket for them can hurt.
Kirstjen Lorenz: The staff at this hotel is very friendly and helpful. I stayed in room 506, and it was huge with a very comfortable bed, a nice size bathroom with a walk-in shower and a good size desk and a very nice chaise. The location is very good. 1-2 blocks from the Power & Light District and the free street car that will take you to the WW1 Museum and Union Station.
Isabel Reutzel: Great stay with beautiful rooms and lovely staff. During our stay wifi was down in the whole area which would be our only negative but out of the hotels hands. The staff was helpful in every way possible even though their system was down too making their jobs harder. Walking distance to anything you could want! Parking can be a little expensive in garages but lots of free street parking certain hours. Attached to a restaurant/bar which is also of convenience. Overall loved our stay and would go back! ( there’s 2 hotel indigos in KC near each other and the other is a little sketchy and not close to much so be sure to double check was told it was a common mistake as we went to the wrong one first)
Miss Wilk: I stay here regularly as I drove from the west coast to the east coast often. My favorite thing about this location is how nice the front desk is when I bring my cat in it’s little backpack. They consistently upgrade me and provide top notch service and amenities. I know I write a lot of reviews for Hotel Indigo locations, but it’s because I don’t want to stay anywhere else. I will go out of my way if necessary to ensure I’m close to this hotel brand. Why pay 10x the price somewhere else for lesser service?

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kansas City Airport, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Gary Neal: We have stayed at this hotel four times now. As IHG members I have never been more disappointed in a hotel especially at the cost per night. The hotel publishes it has a hot breakfast but that has not been the case on two of our visits (not sure if they served it on the other days as we left too early for a flight). The staff are nice.

Wendi Medved: Clean room. Broken phone reported twice during stay, never offered a new phone. Air conditioner locked at 62 degrees, had to call front desk from personal cell to get it fixed. Blower/AC sounded like airplane taking off when turning on. Usually give high reviews but super dissatisfied. Whole hotel smells like weed.Rooms: Room was nice, older but ac unit had an issue. Collin Rekowski: The hotel room and facilities were nice enough. However, being falsely accused of breaking a television made this the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Because this was a business trip, the company I work for was charged 600$ for a tv that I didn't break. This could have easily cost me my job and a company sponsored college education. If you choose to stay at this hotel, be sure to take pictures of your room before and after your stay so you can prove your innocence when they try to swindle you.

Best Western Plus Seville Plaza Hotel: what do users think?
Ann Jones: We loved our stay. All of the help was friendly and helpful. Parking is easy and free. One block to starbucks and next door to a wonderful Italian restaurant.Walkability: One block to starbucks and close to country club plaza though hilly. Great Italian restaurant next door.
Maya Griswold: If I wanted hidden fees I would stay at an air bnb. Got there to be told there is a $100 amenities fee when there are pretty much no amenities. A cheap bagel breakfast and parking is not worth $100! This place is pretending to be a nice fancy hotel but is no where near close to being one. Wish I had stayed somewhere else.
Wayne Scott II: Well, this is hard. They almost get a 5 star for trying. Perfect? No. But it was nice and absolutely it was nice for the price and location. It was half the price of the place we stayed a few weeks earlier and one month before that.Rooms: So soNearby activities: EverythingFood & drinks: The breakfast situation was meh. Megan: Close to great shopping, endless choices for diningRooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Brianna Shaffer: This was a Priceline surprise hotel. The overall hotel wasn't bad. You can tell it used to have smoking rooms, but it is what it is with that.As a solo female traveler, the hotel seemed a little more distant for walking to restaurants alone. I was walking past the Vietnam memorial wall and a homeless guy laying on the ground next to his full shopping cart kept yelling seemingly at me. I just turned around and went back. I'm from two states away and was paying thru. Two years ago I stayed at another hotel closer to the restaurants and didn't have that same feeling.
Jacob Laws: Do yourself a favor, don't stay here. The staff were nice, and were doing their best with what is honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.My bathroom smelled of sewage, and gnats were flying out of the sink faucet. The beds, while pretty comfy, creaked loudly whenever I would turn. There was seemingly no AC in the hallways, making them sweltering in the Missouri summer. The saddest part of the whole experience was the complimentary "breakfast", if you could even call it that. Their breakfast was just stale bread and bagles in a bread box with a toaster that didn't toast, some apple and orange juice and some yogurt in a wine cooler. They said they don't do eggs or bacon anymore because of COVID, but the pandemic was 3 years ago. Why even advertise a breakfast if that's what's waiting for your guests? The hotel seems to be in a constant state of disrepair. Paintings covered up holes in the wall, there were signs all over the place saying how they are undergoing sewage and water projects, and I even overheard a lady complain about how one of the hotel treadmills caught on fire.I said this once and I will say it again. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here.By the way, their website advertises that if you call them, you'll get the best prices for their rooms. This is not true; use Trivago (or another website like that) instead.

galena Ellis: We had a pleasant experience at this hotel. The location was great and the price was right.
Sissy Neal: Beautiful location with ample parking and comfy rooms. Downside is the breakfast is very lacking. Both days we stayed we were offered mini cinnamon rolls, bagles, bread and yogurt. Drinks are coffee, water, apple and orange juice. Traveling with small children and it just didn't provide many options for them either. I will say the breakfast area was kept quite clean and staff was very friendly. But keep in mind the limited breakfast. There was road construction going on outside and loud activity at night considering it right in downtown but otherwise satisified.
Lucas Fogaca: Amazing hotel! My family and I were very well received and well taken care of by the staff during our almost 3 week stay. The location of the hotel is also great, being close to several bus routes that lead to various destinations, including the downtown . Many thanks to the staff who were very helpful and to the receptionist Victor who spoke Portuguese and gave us many tips on how to make the most of our stay. By the way, the breakfast offered by the hotel is hearty and delicious as well. I will definitely stay at this hotel again whenever I come back to KC.
Christianne Fogaça: My family and I had an amazing experience at the Seville Plaza hotel! The location is perfect. It is walking distance from the Plaza, and Westport. Besides that, it is close to the public transportation, which makes it easier to go downtown. The staff was awesome. They took great care of us, from the front desk to the room maids.Special thank you to Victor who assisted us during our stay.Victor could speak Portuguese and that helped us a lot!Breakfast was delicious and we felt safe through our stay.Overall we had a blast! We highly recommend this hotel!Thank you!Rooms: EspaçosoNearby activities: Restaurantes e lojasWalkability: Dá para ir a pé ao Plaza.
D Billy: Rooms are a little old school but the hotel is well kept with great staff and you can't beat the location so close to the plaza!!!!Rooms: For the price and location it's ok no embassy suites but if you need to save a couple bucks great option 👍Nearby activities: Plaza and many parksSafety: Very safe and comfortableWalkability: Can easily walk to plazaFood & drinks: Free glass of wine in the afternoon. Nice touch 👌Noteworthy details: Overall, nice bang for your buck, I'd say after my second time staying here
Timothy Taylor: Location is next to a gas station that was frequented by loud music playing and screaming people both nights of my stay. One period lasted 3 hours till the police showed up - and took 30 minutes of sirens and PA system orders to leave the property. It was like an episode of Cops!My room has brown carpet - always suspicious. My bath mat had a huge hole in it that couldn’t be an oversight. The o only ice machine was on the top floor - not very convenient to their first floor guests. The free breakfast was pretty basic - dry bagels and bread. The yogurt was bad. Tiny cups were provided for the juice. You had to go to the front desk for decaf coffee. The cinnamon rolls Sunday morning were tasteless. Avoid.
Ryan Specht: Horrible customer service. They cancelled my reservation because I was 15 minutes late and then wouldn't rent me a room till 4pm the next day forcing me to look for a hotel in the middle of the night. Will never stay here!Service: 1/5 …More

InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza: what do users think?

Gary Lewis: Great atmosphere the food is good and good service.Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Thomas Hammon: So far so good really nice place right in the heart of the historic plaza district in KCMO.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Robyn Kendle: Overcome with an awful smell when entering the hotel. Staff was friendly, and very helpful. Drinks from bar were well crafted. Room didn’t smell like the main floor, but was stuffy. Bathroom was full of hair. What sealed the deal for me was the comforter on the bed. I’m guessing this is blood, but not sure.
Brent Winterberg: I was there for a seminar, not an overnight guest. Facilities were clean and staff friendly. The only problem was trying to get into the hotel from the parking garage. Required to call security to get in, and they don't seem to be right there monitoring it, so it took a while each time.
judi jewell: So disappointing! Hotel desk staff terrible. If you have a truck valet park because you have to park on the roof and the door into the building doesn't not work. Valet staff great. Our room was ok but not totally clean. Bugs on the floor between the furniture and the walls. We choose not to look under the bed. Staff did not care to do anything after multiple requests. Do not waste your money at the IC. Stay at a different hotel in the plaza.
galena Ellis: This place is perfect if your looking for a quaint, cozy, and clean hotel
Isaac Urrutia: We love it here, however , go out and enjoy the food on the Plaza in other words do not eat there unless you have to, nice place great view from our room
Jeffrey Gonzales: Location was great and the lobby and common areas felt like old fashioned luxury. But once you got to the room it was not luxurious. I found more than a few black curly hairs on the bathroom floor, toilet, and shower. The bed didn't have a fitted sheet, it was just a flat sheet over the plastic sheet. The restaurant was sad. I ordered a salad during the lunch rush of only 3 tables. The salad took 20 minutes to come out with no dressing. I asked for dressing and waited 15 minutes but I had to go. I was still charged $18 for that salad. I give 3 stars instead of 1 because the location is great and the bartenders were fantastic.Rooms: Dirty. Gross. Not well maintained.Food & drinks: Food was sad. Drinks were stellar!
Ken Hetherington: Unexpected and welcome upgrade to a Presidential Suite for a 9 night stay. But overall definitely not 5*. Mostly 2* with mostly bad service and restaurant manager the most rude I have encountered anywhere. Food: appalling to very poor. Total lack of staff inc agency staff without knowledge of standards. A few exceptions but overall bad! Very poor communications so hotel problems, of which were many, were not forewarned or explained. Major problems with telecommunications systems- especially phones but also sketchy internet. The exception was Club Lounge Steward - Don who understood guest satisfaction and went extra mile to make guests feel special and provide a great ambiance. Nevertheless the food in Club Lounge was appalling in both quality and range - Inedible! I surmise hotel lacked competent chef(s).
scott caldwell: Great hotel right off the plaza. Perhaps a little outdated, but the service and view of the plaza is stellar.
Lynett Cross: This was a great location for my business conference. Plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ashley Coursey: The rooms were so quiet and the balcony view was amazing! The staff was also super helpful and friendly.Noteworthy details: Beautiful balcony view.
Megan Roedel: We have stayed here numerous times and it has really gone down hill. The staff are great but the room was absolute garbage for the price. The air conditioning was set at 72 degrees and you can't adjust it, the wallpaper is pealing off, stains on the carpet and furniture, the exhaust fan in the bathroom doesnt work, and the bathroom doorknob kept coming off. We won't be staying here again.
Masa Kanayama: I stayed in this hotel few times before. But this time, the service was terrible at front desk. The front desk person does not even know the room category I booked and she assigned to me two steps down graded room despite I paid the price. Finally the manager came in and corrected her mistake. The room balcony needs to be renovated since there are mold like green stains in the balcony. Overall it was a disappointment stay here. This is not the same intercontinental I knew before.
Bill Holbrook: Was upgraded to a king suite. Room was big with two balconies and two full bathrooms. Staff was very attentive and quick to help however they could. The area is nice and plenty to do within walking distance.A/C in bedroom was not working but they had someone come up immediately when I called the front desk to inform them. Will definitely be back!Pictures are from the concierge lounge and from the two room balconies (5th floor).
Nathan Cabeen: This probably the most expensive hotel I have stayed in and also the worse experience I've had. No ac in the room, they came in to fix it and it still didn't work. Told us they'd meet us at a different room. Waited 30 minutes and they didn't show up. Finally got into a room with working ac 3 hours after we checked in. They refused to give any kind of a refund and barely apologized to us. Would not recommend and will not be back.
Zachary Keck: Awesome hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bar is amazing. They had live music on Friday night that made the vibe more enjoyable.
Laura Raines: My husband and I had a staycation here for a weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We were thrilled to have a balcony overlooking the plaza. Location was perfect to walk to dinner and breakfast or to shop. Pool is fantastic. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to music and having drinks.Nearby activities: The Country Club Plaza.Walkability: Walkable distance to the Plaza.Noteworthy details: Location and balconies overlooking the plaza.

Joshua Osmon: Awesome place to stay, clean and friendly, parking in their garage was a bit pricey at $25 a night but not used to city prices.
Brian Landis: Had a couple of questions and couldn't find the answers online so I figured I would call and find out. Was hung up on twice. Best Western has better service than this. I would rather go stay there. Don't waste your time.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More

On top of having multiple restaurants, there is a nice hotel store for smaller purchases, which is always handy.

Brad Kingston: The rooms are a bit small, but it was an enjoyable stay. They do need to give you better towels since we are paying $275 night. They are like sandpaper. Hood location, nice shuttle driver and hotel staff.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Bill Welty: Apparently the Crowne Plaza has zero interest in their guest’s privacy. We were startled by our room being entered at 7:45 am. Only to find out it was housekeeping entering the room unannounced. After complaining to the front desk, our booking website the manager KB has called and my hope was some type of resolution…NOPE! He called to say it didn’t happen.HA! My advice…Avoid this property!!Isolated incident you say? NOPE! We were traveling with 3 other couples. All staying on different floors. All reported the same issue.
Brett K: Great location, in the Power and Light district - everything is pretty much in walking distance. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel Indigo Kansas City – the Crossroads, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Lindsay “Sweet Clucker” T: Our room was beautiful one of the nicest at that price point in a long time. The beds were comfortable. The shower was amazing! Really quiet with warehouse high ceilings. Loved everything about the room. My only concerns were no area for dogs to relieve themselves, no nearby or in house coffee drinks, and it was difficult to get luggage in. Would definitely stay here again hopefully by then they invest in anEspresso machine.Rooms: Gorgeous spacious room! Ours was so quiet being on the ground level on the end.Food & drinks: There is nowhere to get a coffee drink within 2 blocks. The restaurant does not have lattes.Noteworthy details: Dog friendly but no where for dogs to go outside to relieve themselves. Any grass was 2 blocks away.
Davon Murrietta: Room cleaners stole my wallet from room when we left to eat & happened to go on lunch right got after. When I was looking & asking cleaners for it no one happened to speak english all of a sudden but knew exactly who I was & where I was staying (when I never seen cleaners on the floor) & what was going on. Then I was kicked out by the chubby red haired front desk lady for saying I was acusing them when no one had been in the room except them. The other front desk lady was awesome, understanding & really helpful. Dont stay here unless you like to be lied too & your hard earned money robbed.
Bethany Mullinix: I initially went to the hotel indigo downtown rather than crossroads. At that location I was greeted by valet immediately, easy walk into the lobby and waited on in a very progressional manner. Staff was very nice, courteous, and then we realized I was at the incorrect location for my stay. I made my way to the crossroads location where I actually booked. Earlier that day I called to see if I could do an early check in. When answering the phone, the staff was quite rude and asked if she could finish what she was working on first. In my opinion, I feel like you could have just said please hold, or not answered until you were ready to take my call. It just came off rude. I really brushed it off and proceeded to incorrect location as I described above. Then when I arrived to the correct hotel, there were no spots to park for valet and no valet workers outside. I waited several minutes and ultimately drove off to venture around the block. Finally I had to call the hotel desk again to ask if someone with valet is available. They had the desk person working both desk and valet which was horrible. Ultimately took me 30 minutes or more and two rude interactions just to get my car valeted. Then, on check in I decided to offer some feedback on my experience at the other location and how I felt this was not acceptable service for the price I’m paying. They then argued with me about the instruction they gave me on the phone. I finally get checked in and proceeded to my room and my keys didn’t work. I would have brushed this off too but I just got the vibe that was done on purpose. I will never know but then the room space was decent and bed comfy but the bathroom floors are disgusting and don’t really look like they have been cleaned. Ultimately if I would have had the time I would have transferred my stay to the downtown location. These people are rude, inefficient and this is definitely not worth the price I paid. Will never be back.Safety: Homeless people wondering in front of the hotel. Don’t feel safe at all
Brenda O: From the front desk, the valet and the kitchen staff to housekeeping, everyone one was so nice. The housekeeping dept made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms are extremely clean.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
CHRIS: Decent hotel. Not worth the price of the room in my opinion. It is close to a ton of great restaurants and shopping.
Annisa Kumerow: I'm only halfway through my stay, so this review is subject to change in case things get better. I doubt that they will though. It's 2:30 am, and I just want to save future travelers their trouble if they are thinking of staying here. Please don't be fooled by the nice design of the hotel, or the comfy bed. You may not get to sleep in it because the walls are extremely thin. I've heard the neighboring room argue about who's going to petsit their dog, discuss their underwear, and argue with each other. It's not just the fact that we share a wall - you can hear this pretty loudly in the hallway as well. I called the front desk over 30 minutes ago and they said they would send someone up, but either no one has come up (bad) or they think this kind of volume is acceptable in their hotel (worse). I'm here for business and really wish that the neighboring Home 2 Suites had rooms available, because I really don't know how I'm supposed to function on this trip with this kind of noise in the middle of the night. That hotel is much cheaper, with more in-room amenities, and the noise levels are somewhat tolerable.I just tried calling again and the phone rang for five minutes until I gave up. Not the level of service I would expect at this cost.
Jack Carroll: Walkability: Very walkable, great food, art, and entertainment right out the door.Food & drinks: Standard hotel bar and decent breakfast made to order
Harry Collins: I called to book a room for a conference I was attending with my company. They answered and everything thing seemed fine. They asked me what I needed. I mentioned I was interested in making a booking for me and my employees and suddenly they told me that a person had just walked up to their desk and that I needed to call later in the day because they needed to help this new person. They didn't even try to put me on hold or anything. Just told me to end the call because this new customer was more important then helping the customer they were already attending too. The whole thing came off as very rude and I don't plan on calling them back.
Detra Turner: Well this by far was one of the worst experiences, it started with the valet guy, just rude & unprofessional. Then the thermostat in my room didn't work,it was freezing. I definitely will not return to this hotel, for the price the service didn't match. I will be reaching out to the general manager first, then corporate!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Caroline Cramer: Pros:- Clean, spacious room- Comfortable king bedCons:- Paper thin walls; even a bus driving by in the middle of the night was extremely loud- No bottled water at all provided for the Keurig in the room- Weird location to drive into at nightVerdict:- We felt like we overpaid for what we received and will not stay here again
Brittany Beasley: This was the best experience I have ever had at a hotel. All of the staff is so incredibly welcoming. There was only 1 or 2 of them working at a time and they were amazing at being a host, valet, running the whole place. They all deserving of a raise, going above and beyond our whole stay. They were able to check us in early which was such a relief after a different hotel the night before not even ready by check in. The rooms are like a little studio apartment, so clean and modern. The location is so convenient, we were like 3 mins from our concert venue and tons of food. Do not hesitate to book here!
Lindsey scott: Too expensive
Sam Rosenberg: Staff and manager very rude, would not recommend.
John Gilmore: Business traveler. One of my favorite hotels. Beds are comfortable. Very clean. Wifi is excellent. The best shower on the planet. Grab an old fashioned from Ray at the bar - best in the business. They have a restaurant with nice breakfast options.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, High-tech …More
Lucas Ford: I was here for two nights and everything was great! I especially enjoyed the shower, I will be staying there again whenever I am in downtown KC.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
