St. Anthony’s Senior Living: what do users think?
NaSheena Hooker: I was recently fired from this company without being told the reason… I never got a write up, I never had to sign a paper stating I did anything wrong and I was never given a final warning… I worked my position and others very well and this is the thanks they give… Not to mention I was loved and respected by many of the other employees and residents and I really loved my job but because I believe “right is right” and “wrong is wrong “ is the reason I feel I was fired before the new company was able to see everything I brought to the table and what really happens in that kitchen!!! I’m a great cook and was a great advocate for that kitchen!!! They allowed old workers that quit in a unprofessional manner to come back and that’s very questionable…
Neek Neek: I went to my interview last Tuesday for dietary waited ovr 40 min for someone to interview me and then the women said that I would hear back weather or not I got the job I would still get a phone call and yet and still I haven’t heard anything I keep calling and calling and yet I haven’t heard anything back from them on top of that everytime I get transferred the phone rings a couple times then the voicemail pops up if you weren’t going to hire ppl u shouldn’t have put the ad up on indeed
Tyerra Leeshay: This place is not a good place for African Americans to work the whole office is racist so are the residents and they loud with it.. Just speaking from working here before never again 😊 so happy I quick
Camella Redden: This company along with other companies that require you to be vaccinated is a joke. Crazy how they purchase a building in the community and put high demands on others lives. When's it was proven vaccinated or not you still can contract the virus. This is like slavery, everyone wants control. It's unfortunate because they will miss their blessing of by overlooking good workers. I guarantee 10 years from now they will regret it. Sorry for you'll loss. I'm one of the hardest workers you could've ever had.
Julie Ann Abernathy: A beautiful gated community. Caring and family oriented.
Bev Brooks: What a beautiful facility! The people are so kind and helpful. I love the location!
Daniel Pasternack: Can't say enough good things about St. Anthony's. Great facilities, amenities, food, and most importantly a great staff!
CapturedPisces: St. Anthony’s is wonderful home for seniors, everyone is extremely friendly and helpful and the food is amazing. Honestly one of the top retirement communities in Kansas city
Jeff Walters: What a beautiful building, I cant wait until it opens!

Riverstone Retirement Community: what do users think?
Mark Johnson: Cannot believe what goes on here with employees. The chef cooks like a 15 year old kid from Arby’s and the female manager calls residents names when she is intoxicated. I didn’t believe it but was visiting with my mother and I witnessed it myself. Place is gorgeous but overpriced and managers are ridiculous.
Sherri Stryker: Riverstone Resort Retirement is Senior Advisors "Best Senior Living in Kansas"Living here and working here at Riverstone I can verify that it is the best. Riverstone is beautiful and friendly. The team is loving and caring. Riverstone is always Welcoming
Erin Stangel: I live in TN and was able to visit Riverstone along with my sister from CA and sister from there in KS City. It was so much fun getting to stay with them in a beautiful apartment onsite while enjoying our visit with Dad. I was very impressed with the quality of life my dad has at Riverstone. Visiting as a family was made so enjoyable by an incredibly comfortable and caring atmosphere. We spent time in the gym, playing billiards, having wonderful meals, and even getting to know my dad's neighbors. The staff are so personable, and it was wonderful getting to know them, too. It's a great feeling to have such peace of mind about your loved one. I cant wait to return for my next visit.
Kristy Hennessey: Riverstone is amazing! My Dad moved in last April and we continue to be impressed by the management (Brent and Cindilee) and their dedicated team. Such loving and personalized service! The breakfasts are amazing! Made to order right down to the turkey sausage! Beautiful Sunday brunch! Always fresh veggies and fruits at the salad bar. Fine dining too! Housekeeping and Maintenance are always on the ball! Activities galore! There is a wonderful movie theatre with top notch movies as well as special sporting and religious screenings. They also have an apartment on site that can be rented for 1/2 the cost of a hotel for visiting family members. The residents are wonderful too! Such a homey and comfortable environment while still being modern. And the Interim Care staff are angels! The holiday decorations are just incredible and the residents decorate and personalize their porches. And the coffee! Yum! I could go on! I live in California and have such peace of mind knowing that my Dad is well cared for. Thank you Riverstone! On behalf of my family, we LOVE you!
Kelly Estes: My mother lived at Riverstone for 4 years ( my father-in-law also) and we could not have ask for a more caring group of people. The amenities and facility are truly resort living. The new managers, food and other resent improvements have definitely brought it back and above the high standards that residents had grown accustom to.
Rene Weese: My dad has been there for 5 months. I am continually amazed and blessed at the personal interest these people take in each resident. I am talking from management to wait staff, house cleaning, maintenance, activities director, interim nursing and home health care...each and every person at one time or another has gone ABOVE just doing a good job, to help my family feel confident that he is not only well cared for, but cared ABOUT! We LOVE you guys! It would take WAY too long to list all the little but big things that each person has done for my dad that are NOT in any kind of contract, but in their hearts. Lyle, Kathy, Bailey, CiCi,Brent and Cyndi Lee, Rachel, Mary Pat,Jennifer, Rachel,Lanita, you all have given MY family a sense of peace by treating m our dad as your family.
Kathryn Webb: Truly a wonderful place to live!!! Staff is dedicated to serving the residents! Residents are friendly and happy to meet new people! After visiting 8+ retirement communities in the KC metro area, we overwhelmingly chose Riverstone! Great apartments, activities, food, staff, and environment. The new managers Brent and Cyndilee are wonderful! They go out of their way to accommodate residents, guests, and staff. Some of the reviews on this site are OLD and DO NOT reflect the current situation at Riverstone!
musjim: My Aunt has lived here for several years. When she first moved in, the place was great. It is well maintained but very understaffed. The big problem is the food. Unfortunately, that is the most important thing. Last time I was there, she was served undercooked salmon and asparagus wrapped in uncooked bacon. (I have pictures). As a result, many people are leaving and they have a lot of vacancies.
Grandmaof7: I visited Riverstone with my sister and was immediately greeted at the front door with a smile and hello from the people behind the front desk. Going around the building (which was absolutely breathtaking) I had a wonderful tour and was greeted by very happy residents and staff was very nice. We ended up going with another place closer to where her children live but would have chosen Riverstone in a heart beat if the building would have been closer to the area we wanted. I will definitely be recommending Riverstone to my friends and family.
My Name: 100% agree with M Truvill --The current manager, Roger has no self control. When a new resident needed assistance with the TV remote control, Roger complained that he had to turn the channel on the TV. He said, I have to change the channel on the TV for 2 Old Guys, I have a college degree. Then when on the phone with a new resident, the female resident was falling and her husband hung up the phone with Roger to catch her. Roger stormed over to their apartment and scolded the resident with Don't ever hang up the phone on me again . They moved out 2 weeks later.Instead of using M Truvill's review to look at the issues and maybe solve some of the problems, at the monthly managers meeting Roger scolded the tenants for leaving a bad review. He is a bully and has no concept of what "Customer Service" means or even who the customer is .And forget about calling the resident hotline, they won't call you back and have not addressed any of the concerns the residents have expressed. There are over 20 apartments that will be empty in the next few months because of these managers and the changes to the services and offerings at Riverstone.
M Truvill: My parents moved in Riverstone 4 years ago and it has been a great place for them to live and for us to visit up until the current managers came on board. As you can see the great reviews were all from the past here on Google. The new managers (husband and wife team) treat the elderly residents with disrespect and are very rude. Roger (the man manager) told one long time resident to shut up during a resident meeting when he stood up for another resident who was voicing her displeasure on the many cost-cutting changes they were making. He even went so far to tell this resident (who is very sweet and well liked) he was no longer welcome to come to the resident meetings! They speak to the resident's in a scolding manner when they voice their feedback. They have gone so far as to tell residents that they can submit items in advance for the resident meeting agenda's but they will decide what they will and won't talk about. They have cut out many of the items that were once offered and advertised as part of the price, such as soda's, grab and go snacks have been greatly reduced in quantity, juice (replaced with sugar free juice water because "it's healthier"- heck they have lived this long, I don't think the company should dictate what they can have!). Won't allow residents to take food back to their rooms, no longer have a Sunday Brunch buffet because there could be food wasted by allowing residents to serve themselves, etc. all to save money while the managers take a company trip to Cabo because they cut costs. This is what is advertised on the Riverstone website: Residents enjoy the variety and choice found in an industry-first all-inclusive Freedom Style Dining and Resort Style Dining Program. Dishes can be made-to-order, taken to-go, or served up restaurant-style in the dining room, where residents can enjoy the company of family and friends. Coffee, juice, ice cream and snacks are available all day. FALSE!The place is also getting a bit run down. They let go the maintenance man and the manager is now doing maintenance. Water spots in ceilings that are dripping water are not being addressed or fixed. The carpet was supposed to be replaced on main street some time back and it still has not been done. They are trying to get by with the least amount of expense possible and unfortunately the residents who are spending a LOT to stay there are paying the price.Residents have written letters to corporate and nothing is being done. Many residents have decided to move to a new facility that is opening up nearby because of this couple and their ridiculous rules, cost-cutting measures and behavior. They have even told residents to move if they don't like the things they have done. Clearly, they don't understand the principle of customer satisfaction or that it takes twice the effort to get a new customer than it does to keep a current customer. The only saving grace to this place is some long-tenured staff who are truly outstanding like the concierges Tom, Rachel, and many of the dining staff. They have also lost some great staff members because of these managers and the current chef. The corporate office needs to change out these managers ASAP and restore Riverstone to the way it used to be!**Update 7/1/19 - I called the resident hotline as was requested by corporate headquarters in response to my review since they indicated they take Resident satisfaction SERIOUSLY and they never called back. Again, this is another example of earlier comment that residents have called and written to corporate with no response.
Joe Passantino: Local firefighter and home care business owner of Preferred Care at Home of Greater Kansas City MO..... I have experience that Riverstone by far stands out and is First in its class from cleanliness, compassionate faculty and has a variety of amenities of any senior facility in the area.
Linda Canida: My parents moved here from Sun City West due to aging health issues. The facility is maintained well and serves good meals. It has several apartment options with monthly rental. (Residence are not required to buy in as required at many retirement facilities.) The residence can hire bonded nursing care if needed. Interim nursing care is on-site with comparable rates to other services. There are many activities for the residence. There is a workout room, an auditorium where movies and special events are held, there is a pool table, library, and conversation and meeting rooms for larger groups. There is a bus available for scheduled shopping and doctor appointments in the area. We have been very pleased with the facility and my parents contented to be there. The one draw back is that even though ownership hasn't changed, the on site managers have changed frequently over the last six years, so there is a lack of continuity in that area.
Loretta Stiens: DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!As far as places go, ok! But relative targeted by scam. Riverstone did everything they could to block us from getting control and stopping it. Sided with slimy lawyer. Also girl who worked there somehow got herself in my relatives will!
Cat Heisler: One of the neat things about Riverstone is their presence in the KC community. They take an active interest the doings outside their front door. I appreciate Riverstone's willingness to promote local businesses. Thanks Riverstone! I'm glad you're a member of our Chamber of Commerce.
David King: Mom has been a resident since last October. She is really enjoying herself. Riverstone is like living at a "5" Star hotel. The amenities are great and the staff is wonderful. I would highly recommend Riverstone.
Cindy Blinn: My Mom's favorite assessment of Riverstone is it's the next best thing to her home. She has been at Riverstone for almost 3 years and is very pleased with her apartment, the great staff, and most of all the friends she has made there over the years. It is truly a family oriented facility. I always feel that I'm welcome anytime and never have to make an appointment to talk with staff or take part in activities.
Donna Roath: We are so happy to have found Riverstone for my mom. The apartments are lovely and the staff is extremely friendly and - especially - caring. Mom has been a resident for almost five years and she can't imagine living anywhere else. We lovingly call it the "Cruise Ship" because of the luxurious surroundings and wonderful amenities.
Jeff Ralls: Riverstone is beautiful, open with plenty of light. It is not a dark and dingy, like most of the places we looked at for our Mother. The staff is extremely friendly. When my Dad passed away one of his caregivers was like our family and was with him the day he died. She was a true comfort for him in his last minutes. I can't say enough good things about Riverstone.
Tricia Melton: This beautiful, luxurious resort-style retirement community is just perfect for my mom! With delicious food and weekly housekeeping, she gets the assistance she needs while still maintaining an independent lifestyle. A very friendly staff, lots of activities and great residents make it a perfect fit!
Polly Bromert: After searching the northern Kansas City area extensively, as well as surrounding communities, we decided on Riverstone and it's the best choice we could have made for my father! Whether from the city or country, Riverstone makes everyone feel welcome. There are activities for all tastes and speaking of tastes, the dining experience is very good. They try to cater to any dining situation, those who live to be served, those who prefer to serve themselves, or sandwiches and snacks available anytime. The apartments are larger than many other facilities. Compared to other similar communities in the KC area, Riverstone's cost is right in line but the feel is that of luxury. We recommend Riverstone highly!

Brookdale Wornall Place: what do users think?
C Jordan: Recommendation over any community in the Kansas City, MO market.
Barbara Walk: Shelby Bosken has been a joy to work with as a sales representative. She is friendly and well versed in the Brookdale Wornall sales process. I highly recommend her for navigating clients through this difficult transition period. Brookdale is also my number one recommendation for family and friends due to their amazing living options. Many thanks to Shelby for her compassion and commitment.
Danny Broihier: Brookdale is an awesome community with an even better staff!
Holli Laddin: Such a beautiful community, a wonderful place with great amenities for residents. Indoor pool, a lot of activities and outstand staff. Highly recommend.
Michael Laddin: Talk about caring - this is the place. Every staff member I encountered was pleasant, helpful and seemed actually happy to see me. The care is also exceptional. Highly qualified staff is their key. Excellent place!!
Tara Johnson: Great environment. Kind staff
Jenny Avery: Such a beautiful community! Warm and inviting staff, great food! Residents are truly happy here!
Dorothy Johnson: Brookdale is great! Not only do we have good housekeeping including laundry; on the ball maintenance; dining room with healthy food selections; but a swimming pool and hot tub with water aerobics classes taught by a certified teacher. We have many classes - exercise, clay, jewelry, etc., the front desk has friendly receptionists at all times. But most of all, I enjoy the games - hand and foot canasta, Mahjongg, poker, bingo, Kings in the Corner, Rummikube, Dominoes, and Pinochle, played with my many new wonderful friends!
Kizzy Camacho: Great place to work or live, and the Staff are welcoming when you walk into the building.
A M Johnson: LOVE the residents!! Great environment, as well as fun!!!
Lisa King: Love my residents! Every year we get better. So proud to work here!
Mariah Mankowski: Great staff and wonderful events for friends and family! Went for Easter and it was so great to see staff and residents so active and involved. Would absolutely recommend!
Jacob Mankowski: Beautiful building and kind, friendly staff!!
Lydia Schuetz: Amazing place with amazing staff! Shelby in particular is fantastic! She is so caring and detail oriented, just what you need when making this important decision. Would recommend to anyone.
Keeton-Parks Construction, LLC.: We do capital improvements and make readies for Senior Living communities all over the country. This place really stood out to our company as being the best in the business! Brookdale as a whole really brings that company-culture that feels like “family.”
Kenneth Baker: My mother-in-law lived at Brookdale from Sept. of 2022 through most of March, and passed away Mar. 24 2023. My father-law is still living there. The staff was a tremendous help and very sympathetic when my mother-in-law became gravely ill. Throughout their stay they have received excellent care and friendly service at all times. They enjoyed all the programs, gatherings and social opportunities provided. Brookdale was and remains a perfect fit. My mother-in-law stated it was one of the best places she ever lived.
Diedra Bell: looking for a place for my mom and was referred to this senior living community and I must say I am impressed this would be so ideal for any senior so many nice amenities hoping to get her to say yes! fingers crossed :)
Randy Allen: Brookdale Wornall have great staff and have a true passion for residents. They always make sure residents are cared for and safe.
Megan Spohrer: It was a real push to get my mother to agree to move out of her unwieldy house into an apartment where she had the extra support of great meals, regular cleaning services, and lots of social activities. A few months later she was telling people it was her favorite place she ever lived. Sadly, she passed recently. But the staff and residents have been super supportive to my dad. The routine of meal times, movie night, and other activities give him extra social support he wouldn't have had being alone in their old house. The staff has bent over backwards to accommodate his needs. My siblings are all so grateful to know he's in a great place that suits his physical and social needs right now.
Rodney Miller: Brookdale Wornall is always kept clean and smells good. Staff is friendly, and the people look happy. I would definitely recommend seniors to move there.
Erica Wright: Wornall Place always have great activities and the residents always look happy!

McCrite Plaza at Briarcliff: what do users think?
leah lust: I was doing my clinicals there and honestly the nicest nursing home I've been too
Judy Johnson: Lovely, safe residence for seniors. I like the ad for Mc Crite on tv. Shows how active seniors can be if possible.
Christy Randall: Very nice 👍
Barbara Martin: Very clean, lots of security, lovely atmosphere and people. A very nice to be.
Carolyn Carpenter: Friendly people, good food, very nice rooms and homey feeling.
KM Holum: I wavered on giving a 3 or 4. I went to mccrite for rehab after a total knee replacement. The facility is nice and most people were willing to assist and give me time but the rehab facility is set up more for 80 to 90 year olds; not a 58 year old who could pretty much take care of themselves except for a few items requiring nursing staff assistance like getting ice for icing machine or restock of bathroom items. There were some issues with my pull cords not working or going off every half hour, frustrating some nursing staff who thought i was pulling it. Also, the bed was not set up right for the big mattress they put on it, which wasn't supportive for getting up. Finally, maintenance was called a week later, and it was fixed. There were workarounds to make it easier to all affected. Not one time during my 2.5 week stay did anyone change the bedding. Only 3 days in a row my second week did someone come in and partially vacuum. The food was good. However, no one told me that I didn't have to eat what was on the general menu they never gave me the menu until 9 days after being there. Someone was supposed to be coming to my room to ask me if I wanted what was on the menu, but that didn't happen. This was corrected about the 11th day and very quickly. My biggest issue was with the nursing staff. Those nurses with CNA backgrounds were phenomenal, but those nurses who did not have a CNA background would pass the buck, and I would have to wait sometimes 30 minutes or more for someone to come assist. In addition, on 3 nights, the same nurse fell asleep at the nurse's station. There were several others who were also sleeping, but it was only a one-time that I had seen them. This was brought to the administration's attention, though not by me but by an internal nursing staff member. Many times, people would do a quick knock and walk in without waiting for me to respond. I understand that working with 80 to 90 year olds who typically lived in a nursing home and may have issues hearing it would be sufficient but for me I asked for a little more respect to wait for my response since several walked in while i was naked.. I would recommend home health care for rehab and not a facility like Mccrite should you be at an age like me... still working and able to live on your own.
Anita Cammisano (Nita): Beautiful facilities
Kay Hedrick: If I could give you a zero, I would. We toured your memory care facility a year or so ago. We were told that later stage dementia was something you were capable of handling and, once there, my mother would never have to move again. So, we paid the money and put her on the wait list. A year went by without any contact from you and it is now necessary that she move to a facility. We contacted you and found out that there were two rooms available. My father jumped through the hoops after again meeting with your employee who told him he just needed to complete all the paperwork and have Mom go through an "assessment" so you would know what level of care to provide. The packet was completed and turned in but there has been no assessment made (aka you have not met my mother). Today, the day after the packet was turned in, the owner of the facility calls Dad to say my mother doesn't qualify to live at McCrite unless she undergoes a psychiatric evaluation to get heavier medication prescribed. Nice. Very sensitive of you. She isn't violent, just stubborn and proud. She doesn't need heavier medication just professional, compassionate care. If your answer is to heavily medicate her, she doesn't belong with you anyway. You should, however, work on your message to potential residents because the limitations of the care you provide was not made clear to us. No need to provide a phone number (I've read your other reviews) saying you'd "love to talk about it." We've already talked and you've made your position clear. I'm posting the review so others who might consider going on your memory care wait list won't be blindsided like we have been.
Richard Renfro: They have a few room's left.
Loran Fish: McCrite Plaza is a community of passionate caregivers and wonderful residents. One of our greatest blessings is the degree in which resident's families are involved in their parents/loved ones lives. As an RN I am proud to be part of this tribe.
Amanda Girgis: Tried to get my grandmother in here, who qualifies through Medicare AARP to be here and was denied. It was nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone and we were given excuse after excuse when we finally did as to why she was denied. None of which made any actual sense.I spoke to a representative with AARP that informed me my grandmother does qualify for McCrite and they are in net work for the plan she carries. I was told that they offer memory care which is something that my grandmother with late stage dementia needed and could receive at this location but McCrite was unwilling to accept her anyway.I feel like the social worker at the hospital at St Luke's on Barry road as well as McCrite were too incompetent to give her access to the healthcare she so desperately needed. We were told time and time again that my grandmother was considered long term and McCrite only offers short term and that isn't something McCrite offers... Right. Well... That was three weeks ago and she has only days left to live so someone was wrong. So thank you for all of your help throughout this painstaking process. Very much appreciate it.
R Renfro: Excellent care facility
Angela Blackmon: If you want closer care for your love one, the east wing may not be for you. Other than that the place is nice.
Azure Hawk: Seams nice enough to me. The meals looked underwealhming to me, only sandwiches for dinner instead of a hot meal, but the residents seamed to be hardly eating. Place did seam tidy and clean with very good covid protocols.
Jack Bousman: Love the staff, the nurses are top notch. I highly recommend this place
Judy Hall: Very clean
Jennifer Bottcher: Very nice placed ,the nurses could of done better
Judy Hill: Great place to live and work
Diane Siegfried: My mother has been a resident in the independent living building for two years. We moved her from out of state following the death of my father to be closer to our family. The staff has been so caring and supportive throughout the move and subsequent pandemic. She has met wonderful residents who share her interests and keep her active. The community has allowed her to age gracefully and safe rather than just “get old.”I thoroughly educated myself about senior living options in the area. My father had a horrible experience in a rural out of state facility until we were able to medically move him to a larger city care home. McCrite was highly recommended to me and I fully support that recommendation after my experience with them. It is never easy to transition, but the staff and residents made it much easier.
Jonathan Garlock: Luxurious and comfortable living.
Sandra Wilson: Moved my mom in and they were very helpful.

Primrose Retirement Community of Kansas City: what do users think?
Mark McIntosh: My mother has been living at Primrose in Kansas City for almost two years. I live in Denver and can't tell you how comforting it is to know she's surrounded by such a loving and concerned community of Primrose employees. The staff and service providers are always willing and able to help an 86-year-old woman get the most of her golden years. Top notch is all phases from care to social activities. Highly recommend this place for your loved ones!
Margarita Toro: I really enjoy working at Primrose! The residents here are amazing and always keep me smiling! The staff is great too
Tonya Mefford: I have worked at Primrose a little over a year and its a great place to work . Seeing the residents smiling and laughing makes every day better.. I'm so happy to be a part of Primrose.
Carrie Obrien: I love working here!!!! It's the most loving, cozy environment!
Dawn Collins: Primrose Retirement Community of KC is such an amazing place to work. The staff and residents make it feel like home everyday that I walk into the community. The staff is caring, loving and supportive. The residents are enthusiastic, welcoming and most of all, happy! I would encourage all Kansas City seniors to come check us out!
jameshia higginbottom: I have only been employed for 2 months after relocating here not knowing what I was walking into. I can honestly say I don't have a single regret. Our team in house plus the support from our cooperate office is phenomenal!SignedGlad to be apart of the Primrose Family
Mechelle Cunningham: The management team at the community is great! They are always helpful and available. The community has wonderful areas for Residents and families to use. All of the apartments are so spacious.
Jay: I am not going to completely bash this facility but I will say they need training on customer service, hospitality, and patience. In my eyes the residents are family. As much money as they pay they should be catered to the FULLEST extent. No exceptions or excuses. In the extremely brief employment I had at this facility twisted my stomach. It was the lack of empathy. I didn’t feel comfortable watching a resident get served scraps from the bottom of a pan because certain people were “ready to go home”. I think it’s just an employee attitude issue. Not a primerose issue. Maybe the CEO should do pop up visits and the problem would be solved. Being at a competitors location, they care SO much about their guests. They have a way better system when it comes to serving their food. I unlike here where they have to wait for hours, forgotten about, or served a desert they’ve been eating for 4 days that’s dry and old.The Competitors allow guests to have anything they want, all day breakfast, and if it’s still an issue they will doordash for them AND/OR go to a local grocery store. All the while their capacity is even bigger than primerose meaning it should be more difficult but they make it easy . The type of hearts they have here is what i really wish this facility had. I think this place can be great if communication was taken seriously. It’s clear who works for a check and who is there to make someone’s life brighter every day. On a good note..front desk ladies are great though. I love Miss Carrie. Everybody else can kick rocks with no shoes on
Kristen Devine: Very clean, Homelike, Staff and Community members are very friendly and welcoming.
Kathy Martinez: My parents moved to Primrose Retirement Community in Kansas City, MO from Arkansas to be closer to me. They were delighted with every aspect of Primrose. They loved their spacious apartment and outside patio. The staff was kind and caring. The activities and gatherings, including Ice-Cream Socials or snacks and drinks in the Pub gave them opportunities to meet and visit with friends. We would recommend Primrose to anyone looking the find a lovely place to live.
Teri Chandler: Living here fulltime now. It's absolutely beautiful. The meals are wonderful! Activities are fun and the residents are delightful!
Rose Marie D: What a fabulous retirement community! Friendliness began with my phone call to the facility. Upon arrival for a tour, smiles were everywhere. A lovely first impression for sure. They thought of everything! The 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment I looked at was beautiful! Big rooms. Plenty of space for comfortable living. I would not hesitate recommending those who are interested to check it out.
Casey B.: Beautiful facilities with a friendly staff!! I took the tour and the guide (Angie) was very insightful and seemed to be good friends with all the residents that we passed by.
Kirsten S.: We visited this place to voulenteer for a school trip, and the staff here were extremely friendly and welcoming. I talked with some of the residents who all said wonderful things, and the staff know everyone by their names and hobbies. There seems to be lots of hobbies and activities for the residents to do, and the rooms appeared to be very spacious and nice. Thanks for letting us voulenteer here!
Donna Sherburne: My mother loves it there. Staff is wonderful
Lisa S: We have had nothing but exceptional interactions with all of the staff at Primrose! Our mother moved there from another community, which was a difficult decision for her. Primrose has lived up to every promise that was made and far exceeds our expectations for a good living situation for a senior. Alyssa, the Sales Director, went out of her way to be available and did all she could to make us feel welcome. She answered all of our questions and kept in touch while we were still deciding. Now that Mom has moved in..The food is outstanding, the staff knows everyone by name and there is a huge variety of activities that appeal to everyone. It's great that the community meets with the dining director and the executive director regularly to provide input and ideas. We are very thrilled with the experience so far!

Anthology of the Plaza: what do users think?
JimBob Westin: The Therapy Staff here is awesome. I have a friend who lived there and her therapist was always cracking jokes and smiling and made her feel like doing therapy. I think his name was Eric.
Esther Laddin: Management is consistently improving and keeping the residents safe and healthy. This facility is stunning!!!
Susan Walker: The work culture is very unstable.
amaraj johnson: This place is very unprofessional and they treat there employees bad they hire people and let them go and have u get all the information u need keep u waiting jus tell u they can't hire u back they never have help always short staffed I would not work here they also seem like they don't want to hire alot of African Americans
charline franz: Two months ago we moved my brother to assisted living at Anthology on the Plaza from his home of over fifty years. He was resistant and I was anxious. Anthology was brand new with no track record. We soon learned there was nothing to worry about. This is a beautiful, state of the art facility located in a vibrant commercial and cultural part of Kansas City. A review of the monthly activities calendar was enough to assure me that my brother would be fully occupied with an abundance of mind-stretching and body-strengthening exercises designed to meet each resident’s needs. Above all it’s the staff at Anthology that makes this place so special. Not only are they energetic and superbly credentialed but also they are warm, caring people, who are never too busy to stop and chat with a resident or drop by the daily Happy Hour where residents gather with family and friends to tell of their day’s adventures or those of days gone by. It didn’t take long for my brother to settle in and become part of “the gang” as the residents like to call themselves. He has taken the greatest pleasure in decorating his apartment that glows with natural light and views of the Plaza. During my last visit we spent the day careening around Target picking up a few finishing touches (well maybe more than a few). On the way back, as we approached Anthology, he smiled at me and said, “I’m almost home!”

Tiffany Springs Senior Living: what do users think?
Rhonda Fees: My momma lived here since they opened. Every single employee is amazing. The residents and activities will be missed by momma and I both. This was the greatest place I could have put placed her to live out her life. Thank You so much with gratitude and love ❤️
grace w: Understaffed...horrible
G. Hanson_9: Nurses and CNA can't sit down the (8 hours shifts they are working some longer), the"boss" took away chairs (but sits in his nice office with a nice reclining chair). Can't bring meals in (but sit in his office and eat) management isn't run right. Yall need to treat your employees (nurses and CNA) like they are a person.
Misti Gaston: As a nurse that works in several facilities I have seen many different styles of management. The director of nursing at Tiffany Springs Senior Living, Josh, and the care he and his staff provide are top tier. He is not only personable and welcoming to both outside staff and families, his residents matter to him and it shows immediately when you walk in the door to his building. I have joked with him that I could take the residents in memory care to church after they eat breakfast because they are clean, dressed, and ready for the day. The staff is always cleaning, always singing and talking with residents, or playing games with residents.Five star reviews are rare for me but this one is well deserved.
Josh Goncalves: I love the way everyone takes care of each other like family. Awesome experiences with awesome companionate people providing the best care in town! The pride and dedication the staff have is incredible. Absolutely 5 star living!
Carrie Beam: Caring Community! We love and care for Residents! It brings joy to the team to help and make residents feel at home and we are honored to serve such wonderful people. Executive Director pours her heart and soul into this Community. Maintenance Director, DON and all management work as a team which is so important and the Regional Manager is personable, kind and dedicated. So proud to work for this Community.
Shonda Shaw: I have been working at Tiffany Springs Senior Living for 4 years. It is a beautiful community that offers all levels of care on one campus to provide quality care and service to seniors who are looking for a place to call home. Come see what the best in the Northland has to offer!
Lacy Pearl: Hello! My name is Lacy and I am the Life Enrichment Director at Tiffany Springs Senior Living Community! If you are looking for a fun, welcoming, entertaining, home like environment to live please contact us! This place is by far the nicest, cleanest and most luxurious living community! Come join our family!
Michelle Clark: Living quarters are decent...but don't work here. I was booked as a server and ended up washing dishes half the shift! Not worth it without tips! Completely misleading about their jobs.
Mary Wiley: They abuse the patients they are underfed .they don't change out linens likeThey should .
Kimberly Wood: My name is Kim Wood, and my mama Peggy Dickson lived at the Gables at Charlton Place. She passed away on May 15th, but I wanted to give a review of the care that she received while she was there. I want to thank both Janice's Kendra, Yolanda, Lauren, Dometrice, Ronishia , Tamicca. and Kessley, Dr Holt, and CRNP Jessica McClellan for the care that you gave mama. You cared for her as if she were your family member and for that I will forever be grateful. For Cecilia the administrator, she went over and beyond keeping me informed about anything mama needed or medications changes, and was very concerned for her well-being. Thank you all for the awesome care you gave Ms. Peggy.
Bill Rabon: The worst Senior Living Community! First 2 days we didn’t have air conditioning in our apartment. Our truck was stolen from their “secure” parking lot on the 5th day here. Continental breakfast had ants crawling on food counter. Hot tub/pool was always cold. Very disappointed in service and community.
Tim Hildreth: TERRIBLE EMPLOYEES. Good luck trying to get anything from DIANA LEE in HR. Doesn’t return calls, emails. They simply DO NOT CARE
Christine Dreiling: Where is the corporate office located for Tiffany Springs ?
Latasha Roberson: Extremely racist, unfair
Robert Lloyd: We moved in on June 18th 2019, one day after the official opening date and we have NEVER been disappointed with our decision. Everyone on staff treats you with respect and with the friendliness of a close family member. The building is so new, clean and fresh and well staffed that a visiting family member commented that it was like a Cruise Ship experience. The activities and exercise classes are memorable as well. Tai Chi, water aerobics, yoga stretching, strength and balance classes not to forget chair dancing to a wide range of music... great fun and physical benefits are had by all. Let's not leave out the food consisting of the Continental breakfast and the Hot breakfast in the Bistro area, the lunch in the Bistro area and the Dinners in the Dining room. We are glad that all this was available at the right time and place.
Lori Meyer: Hi, I'm the Concierge, Move-in Coordinator and can't say enough about this great community. We have the most caring and helpful staff according to our residents. We all work as a team to cater to our residents to make their lives as enjoyable as possible. Couldn't love our warm atmosphere any more! Come check out our family!!!!
Thomas Krueger: Hi, my name is Tom I'm a maintenance technician at tiffany springs senior living. I must say that this facility is 5 star worthy. Fun family environment, everyone is real friendly and willing to help. If you are in the market for senior living please consider us!!

The Gardens at Barry Road Assisted Living and Memory Care: what do users think?
donna vanfosson: We recently moved our father into The Gardens. Everyone has been so nice and accommodating. Lisa, Jenn, Ashley have all been great to work with. The dining room staff deliver great food and that is very important for the residents. We are extremely pleased to have him apart of the The Gardens family. Everyone is so friendly.
Lori Benoit: Worst experience in my life. Dont ever work for people who treat you like dirt.
Sheri Kerns: The environment is beautiful. From the way the apartments are arranged and the central floorplan being user friendly to the tasteful decor makes this place peaceful and feel home like. The staff are personable and go out of their way to be helpful and kind. The admission process was swift and smooth. House keeping kept this place sparkling. Medications are administered in a timely manner. The food was super good just because they had so many accomodations to what you might be in the mood to eat. Quality live entertainment was provided as an option as well. The entire staff made this a already good place to a great place to be. The front desk staff always had a positive greeting. Our whole family felt like this was moms home. Thank you Gardens staff.
Bobwhite Vines Vineyard LLC - Allen Robertson: My Mom has been a resident now for six months. I couldn't be happier with the care she receives, the attentive staff, the variety of activities, or the facility itself. I searched for 4 weeks touring dozens of communities to find the right home for Mom. I believe no facility is absolutely perfect, but what I appreciate so much about The Gardens, is the great staff is always attentive and willing to listen and help address any issue or concern that I have raised. Grateful for such a safe, clean, secure, and happy home for my Mother.
donna garcia: Great place to work. 😊
Diane Good: The Gardens at Barry Road staff have been very polite and caring to my parents. I have found it necessary to call with questions frequently, and the staff are always happy to help. The facility is clean and my parents are getting wonderful care. As soon as the COVID-19 regulations are lifted, I look forward to being able to go in and meet these wonderful people in person. I highly recommend the Gardens at Barry Road!
Susan Friend: My mother was in the assisted living but we had to move her to another home. There was very little interaction between the staff and the people living there. We found my mother in the same dirty clothes and a lot of times they weren’t even hers. Our concerns over health matters they didn’t follow through on or if they did it was not in a timely manner which made the health issues worse. They no longer had any activities for them as it seems they keep loosing their staff. My mother was also physically harmed and injured by staff and needed medical attention. This establishment is NOT to be trusted with your loved one.
knoiro: Ashley is absolutely great to work with, Camelia, the director of Memory Care is fantastic! My dad was there only for a short time, but I could not have asked for a better situation for him. Everyone there is so very helpful and courteous.
Trey Breshears: My Great Aunt moved in after 11 years at another facility. We couldn’t be happier with the service she has received here. This is a lovely community, and the perks they offer for family to stay connected (like $5 meals for visitors) keep everyone comfortable and happy.
Lauren Tams-Scherer: Community is bright and clean. Residents and staff are friendly. Feels like home.
stacy bravard: Very nice Establishment. Everyone there seams to be very nice and caring people.
NITRA: I went today for a interview and was hired. The staff was very welcoming and nice. The facility was clean im excited to my journey of working here.
jerry thate: I walked in to look around. It is amazing
Dona Funke: The Gardens at Barry Road has been an answer to prayer for my family. My mother-in-law relocated to Kansas City after a fall-related injury. She experienced a major transition as she left her home, friends, and everything familiar...literally 1200 miles away! The Gardens was a shining light in that difficult time. The staff are friendly, and they genuinely care for the residents. The transition has been challenging for my family as well as we learn to care for an aging parent. The Gardens has helped us so much through services they offer, but even more so through the wonderful people who have truly become our friends. We are very thankful!
Gary Merrill: My father has lived at the Gardens at Barry Road for about 2.5 years. The staff is very friendly and they get to know each resident and the resident's particular needs. There is an activities director and there are a variety of outings/entertainment/exercises/birthday parties that the residents can choose from. Meals are varied with a choice of two daily specials, or the resident/guest can order off the menu. There are special buffets for residents/family around Xmas and Easter with visits from Santa and the Easter bunny. The staff will even check on the resident if they don't show up in the dining room. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and prescriptions delivered as needed. There are always some improvements/maintenance going on to improve the property. We hope to be there several more years.
Terri Moody: The Gardens at Barry Road is an excellent choice for assisted living. All of the staff we encountered from nurses, aides, and office/ administrators, to dining room staff, maintenance and housekeeping etc were pleasant, polite, helpful, and friendly to my mother (for short term respite care) and my mother-in-law (for assisted living), as well as, to our family when we visited. The office staff were so helpful and knowledgeable in walking us through the business end and paperwork. They demonstrate genuine tender loving care for their residents. They made our loved ones feel at home and cared about. The facility itself is clean, beautifully decorated, and homey, not at all institutional feeling. The daily menus were varied and delicious. A deciding factor for us was the Christian atmosphere and no-smoking policy.

Tiffany Wallgren: The Madison Senior Living is an amazing place to live and work. The family like environment makes it a great place to be each day. Your loved one's will be in great hands at The Madison.
Brenden McCoy: The Madison is hands down the nicest senior living apartment community I have been to. The apartments are spacious and the amenities are comfortable. All residents there were smiling and happy and so were their staff. I was invited to a Sunday brunch as a guest, and felt like I was in a 5-star resort!!! The place is clean and I know I will put my own parent there when they age.I highly recommend this place!
Elly R: The Madison Senior Living is a great place to work and live. The management strives hard to recognize and appreciate the hard work and contributions of their employees, and to create a welcoming and inclusive environment that celebrates diversity. The Madison prioritizes the well-being and quality of life of all of their residents from IL, to AL and Memory Care.

Ray: All I can say is Stay Away. They lie regarding the long term care they are able to provide you and your love ones. They become very rude when you question them. Worst decision in our lives was to have our mother live here. WORST!!!
Holly Belanger: Very great place to work! Staff are amazing they are kind, generous, and love the Residents like they are their own family.
Taylor Friday: DO NOT bring your family member to this place especially assisted living. They don’t care about your people at all and they don’t care about their staff, worst work place I have ever worked at in my entire life. They just want your money.
elise Bruce bush.: My father was just in here a couple weeks before he passed away and the staff was wonderful catering to his every need. Between your staff and kc hospice care you made his last few weeks very peaceful and I thank you for that.
Margaret Smith: Great facility.
