Forrest Saucier: Staff is always charming and helpful. Show was amazing! Been a great experience all 3 visits
Debbie Severson: Went to.see Heartland Mens Chours it was wonderful. Great show and perfect place for a concert.
Darcus Marzett: Wonderful, Exciting! My Family and I Loved it. HMCKC did a Great Job showcasing inclusiveness with the soundtrack and film clips of Special Disney Movies.
Ed Heniff: Nice venue with comfortable seats. I left one star off due to the fact at no time when purchasing a drink did they notify you that it cannot be taken into the venue . Drinks including water must be consumed in the lobby.
Stephen Worsham: Excellent venue. Acoustics are phenomenal, and the staff friendly.
Joell Moore: We attended the Sunday Matinee of the Disney Pride Concert featuring the HMCKC.It was spectacular through and through! The Kauffman Performing Arts Center was a great choice to host. HMCKC is full of talent and positive energy. So refreshing.
Alec Gaug: Fantastic venue. Staff is superb! I enjoyed every second being there!
Elizabeth Gansen: Beautiful! We surprised our daughter with tickets for a performance and the Kauffman Center did not disappoint! Great seating. Friendly staff. We will definitely be coming back!
Monica: Great musicians keeping the performing arts alive in Kansas City. Saw some one with hiking sticks as the tiered seating is narrow and steep.
DeDee B: We attended a graduation for our granddaughter who received her diploma posthumously from Ewing Marion Kauffman school by her little brother. The Kauffman Center was absolutely beautiful!
Lou L: Acoustics were great and seats were generously sized and comfortable. However, lack of center aisles means that getting to seats is a hassle. Drinks are available for purchase in the lobby but are not allowed in the auditorium.
Doug Martens: One of the coolest places in all of Kansas city. Both venues are amazing
Brian Massey: Wonderful venue! The staff is amazing and work to ensure a fun experience
Vaughn Ericson: The architecture is stunning! And the performance centers are top notch. We enjoyed our season tickets to the National Geographic speakers series this year. Looking forward to the next iteration of it next year.
Bob Knudson: I ve been going their since it openedAs well others in the SW region. This venue is by far the Best in the West!!
Katie Henze: Beautiful facility with very kind staff, absolutely enjoyed the performance I saw there. I can't wait until I'm able to go back again!

Lori Thurman: Entry and egress were great, very organized. Wonderful venue!
Gwen Tucker: This a stunning venue with excellent staff and service
Keith Rickert Jr: The room was warm and the seat was the most uncomfortable seat I have ever had to sat in at any event. The staff does a good job of herding cars and people in and out.
Liz Craddock: It was awesome. Loved it.

Musical Theater Heritage (MTH THEATER): what do users think?
MARY ALICE TUCKER: They canceled my show tickets without warning. I showed up for a matinee I bought tickets for 6 months ago and there was no show that afternoon
Hollie Begotner: We attended Man of La Mancha and what an amazing show! The intimate setting and minimal set design really helps to showcase the actors talent. The cast was outstanding and their performance was superb! This was our first experience at MTH and we had a wonderful time.
roxann brown: Great perfomance...very entertaining
Pamela Brown: I went to the theater last night abd truly enjoyed the performance of the instruments, soprano and contemporary dancers. They were all fantastic.
Ruthie Becker: We had so much an amazing night last night, at MTH and saw WHO's Holiday, the acting superb and an all around good time. !!
Teresa Hutcheson: Great Show...Buddy's Holly Jolly Christmas 🎄 ♥
Marianne Noll: Great musical theater!
Cathy: MTH is The Place in KC to experience the energy of Broadway! The latest rendition - Company was 2.5 hours of fun-loving, spontaneous laughter, live entertainment with a pianist that absolutely carry's the show from its highs to its lows. Feeling Alive is how you feel when you get the chance to experience the wonderful talent and music at MTH.
Eddie Canis: They expanded and have two theater. Covid 19 with mask and card required. A must because of how small the playhouse is. There not a bad seat in the house. The actor are top notch and it fun watching how the handle the small stage
Terri Bonar: Production was fabulous, only downside was how cold it was in there...
Dick Williams: Have enjoyed many shows at MTH in Crown Center. The theater is small so every seat is a good seat and performers and audience connect easily. Free parking i the garage adjacent.
donna parson: I enjoyed the Elvis tribute very much! The food was excellent and even with the theater being short staffed, the service was excellent! I'm so happy MTH has reopened.
Dan Grelinger: Doing the best they can in the tail end of the pandemic.
Kendra Young: The Summer Breeze Concert was amazing!
Laura Engel: Saw Quixotic here show was fabulous! Broken seat not fabulous!! Do not wish to return to this venue. Broken seat for $75 ticket is not acceptable. They offered a $15 dollar credit for the broken seat and kept saying the house manager offered you a drink. We never spoke to a House Manager. Refused to even offer the $15 as a refund to our credit card only as a credit for future us.
Tonia Mahood: Saw a wonderful show. Enjoyed it immensely!Highly recommend to anyone of most any age.
Mary Truax: Great show! Small theater
Rhonda Lombardo: Forever Plaid is an outstanding performance! The actors are talented and animated. I laughed so hard, and enjoyed it immensely.
Jodee Lollar: Awesome talent. Saw Forever Plaid.
Dennis Myers: Always a great show!
Kim DeCann: Local theater, talented cast that perform a range of Broadway theater and musicals. Not a bad seat in the house, and affordable ticket prices, especially for season tickets. I love hearing the history behind the making of the show's before each performance. Bar and yummy snacks available for intermission. A must for KC theater goers!

GrindersKC Event Venue: what do users think?
Sean Crockett: I was walking down the sidewalk at First Fridays when I heard Taking Back Sunday "Cute Without the E" blasting from what used to be Thou Mayest coffee shop. Intrigued by the amazing musical choice I peeked my head in and noticed it was a new bar! A grand re-opening in fact! I'm now 4 beers in and the atmosphere is amazing! I look forward to chugging down many beers in the future here.Chelsea and Amanda are veteran bartenders and so welcoming! Come here to conversate and have a good time!
Aubrey Anderson: This was a really neat place with a cool vibe. I came here for breakfast with coworkers and had a great cup of hot chocolate ☕ They have quite a nice array of menu items for all types of coffee espresso, teas, lattes, spritzers, handcrafted cocktails, draft beer, cans of beer and domestics. The space is currently decorated for Christmas so swing by if you get the chance!
Michael Whitehead: Wonderful bar for Christmas themed drinks! Very festive, Cookie Dough Martini was delicious!
Keith Miller: Very nice and friendly place
Lluckycast IRL: I really appreciated the section with the mini fridge. The almond/dairy milk that was provided was fresh and chilled. I just wish some cinnamon was laid out close by so I could sprinkle it on... other than that party on.👌🔥
Jeff Breedlove: Hip and cool. Lattas are flavorful. They have oat and almond milk. Their matcha Latta is smooth tasty. A good selection of cookies too.
louis scaringella: If people are going to give a bad review, it needs to have information. The coffee is great, food from Mud Pie is a nice feature. Nothing about this place deserves less than 5 stars.
Katie Molnar: This place is so cute!!!! I had the Matcha Latte with Oat Milk this morning and it was wonderful :) the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and informed us about their products and how they source their ingredients locally. Plus the inside is to die for. It really is cute and feels homey!
Karrie Bloomer: Awesome Coffee and the guy working the counter was very friendly and helpful. It is definitely a place I would return to!
Lezlie Paden-Dowdell: My first time back since they switched vibes/ownership. Great experience and I will be back. Chill atmosphere. Kind customer service. Great coffee and adult-beverage menu plus a variety of delish baked goods and such. More affordable than other crossroad coffee shops for a simple cup of joe and a refill. No stank. No shade. No pretentiousness. Grateful for this option.
Ethan Albright: Great vibes and very crafty drinks. Cozy place and highly recommended. Awesome views of shows at Grinders too!
Ken Williams: This has quickly become my new favorite coffee shop. The drinks are good, but I really appreciate the multiple levels, indoor and outside seating, really cool atmosphere and variety of areas to do things like chat or study or read a book. Also, it's one of the few coffee shops in town that also has a full bar and serves alcohol.
Michael Maxwell: OMGosh, this place is awesome!! They have delicious coffee and perfect (I mean PERFECT) cocktails!! I met a friend (who doesn’t drink) after work and we were both able to get a robust drink to suit our desires (caffeine vs spirits)!! The staff is friendly, the place is welcoming, and it’s clear that they don’t skimp on the ingredients. The flavors were delightful and the pours were heavy! Do yourself a favor and go for the pick-me-up or the chill out; you won’t be disappointed!
allie souza: This is just a wanna be copy cat of Wake the Dead only couldn't even do that right! Don't even spend the money.
Aimee Rothrock: super cool place, awesome interior, and super nice staff. Awesome stop to just chill and get a couple drinks.
J. The super: Have a cup of coffee upstairs
Dane Montgomery: Breakfast old fashioned is delicious
shannon armstrong: Good coffee, friendly service. Only one person working so there was a wait but not too long.
Ian Stone: Thou Mayest was better
Dwaine Higgins: Great coffee, art, and people! Party on!

Kansas City Ballet - Todd Bolender Center for Dance & Creativity: what do users think?
Linda Hoskins Sutton: Community dance classes are offered. A great way to get exposure to various forms of dance, including ballet.Day of Dance (usually in August) is a great way to experience various forms of dance. There are classes for all ages.
Chris S: We stopped to see New Moves and are so glad we did. The ballet company in KC is very talented and the show had all new choreography from up and comers that was a delight. I encourage checking it out - makes a great date night!
Mark Schonwetter: Events at the Bollender center have been well done including ballet rehearsal or performance and educational aspects. Parking is readily available. Building is a historic power station heavily renovated. Classes are offered for multiple ages. Next to Union Station. KC Ballet offices are located here. Parking lot.
Sethyboy42: Wonderful place. Supporting expression and strength.
Rachael McNea: All enchanting performers and Whitney Huell is stunning! I did several KCB dance camps growing up and loved the teachers and program!
Denise Meyer: I am just blown away by the skills of these dancers!! I have been to several performances throughout the years and love every second of it - totally captivated!! Just saw Wizard of Oz last Saturday, performance was amazing as usual!! I was so glad to finally get back in the Kauffman Center!!
Marsha West: Gbaby performance.
Kristen Harris: My daughter loves attending their creative moment class.
CeeLee Atsch: Beautiful facility, warm, friendly staff. Ample free parking.
Connie Meis-Robertson: God bless you, Billie Mahoney
Rebekah Marsh: I had tickets for Sunday. I've had Covid (x2) and when I got my 1 vaccine back in April I had a significant adverse reaction (pfizer). This last week in preparation for the show I visited my primary care physician to discuss this. We decided together to send me for Quest semi quantitative antibody test. I came back at a 93 (under 1 is no antbodies) and it goes to 100. So I'm very well protected by my one vaccine and natural immunity. My doctor wrote a letter to the venue stating my antibody levels are more than equal to 2 injections. I provided all of this information to KC ballet but they still refuse my attendance and called me today to tell me that and refund my tickets. I will never visit this venue for any reason ever........
Matt Siler: Wanting to see Dracula..... but need show proof of Vaccination???? Segregation of choice is wrong and isn't something I will ever support. Losing a long time fan. Sad 😔
Michael Miller: Boycott this place for requiring unapproved Vaccines to attend.
Michael Huerter: Classes are taking place. They are very serious about wearing your mask at all times.
Dustin Link: Awesome facility and company
Sheri Pociluyko: I’m a ballet teacher and still take dance. I was recently at KCB and the security guard was yelling at the 5-6 year olds and being rude to me as well. She basically likes to be rude and yell to show her authority. You know the type I’m sure. The executive director was not apologetic. I really think this school is made to make money. They don’t care about dancers. I’ve worked and danced at a lot of studios all over the country and this place is very poorly run. It’s really sad to see this place run so badly. Pretty building but poorly run. It used to be a lot better a few years ago but has declined. The security guard also was rude to me on the way in and the way out. I forcing rules that don’t even apply to keeping people safe. It made my whole experience stressful witnessing her yell at kids and be yelled at to the point I won’t ever return to this school. I’d advise to go to a better school for your children and if you’re an adult dancer Od also advice going somewhere else. They refuse to refund me for my classes.
Melissa: My daughter is attending here and it's too notch
t s: The preeminent ballet school in Kansas City, for all ages and skill levels. Does your 4 year old want to learn some creative movement? Bam! This is your spot. Are you a 30 year old professional dancer that wants to perform in Kansas City's world-renowned performing arts centers? Bam! This is your spot.
Kedi Seyoum: Beautiful, open, spacious, and clean facility!
Your Magical Day: Going to the ballet is always such a magical experience. The dancers are like little fairies - so light on their feet and beautiful. In my next life I am going to be a ballerina!
Christina Williams: Been taking studio classes here for years as a beginner ballet adult. Staff is friendly and takes the time to give corrections and tips even to beginners. There is live music for every class which is amazing. If you have even a remote interest in dance, give it a try!

Starlight Theatre: what do users think?
Helena White: Enjoyed going to Starlight this summer.Beautiful place! Great memories from youth!
Joey Gibson: I have to give 5 stars because I had such a great time! So much fun! Definitely an experience worth having!
Stormi Moskal: Fabulous venue!
Tim Yoder: I had tickets for Matchbox 20 which I purchased 5 years ago for my wife. Due to Covid, the even was rescheduled to this year. Three weeks before the event, I preemptively called Starlight to make sure everything was in order. The person told me that they were re-issuing all tickets and that I had to call StubHub for new tickets as the originals would not be honored. I called StubHub twice, had the proverbial call-backs, and eventually called Starlight again the day before the event. Explaining my inability to get the reprints, the rep told me to bring everything down to the ticket office the day of the event, noting that this will be an issue, and the office opens at noon.I head down the 30-minute drive, and arrive only to have the ticket office tell me that they cannot do anything since it was a 3rd party vendor (StubHub) ticket. Telling me again I needed to have StubHub re-issue the ticket. On my 30-minute drive home, I managed to get a supervisor at StubHub, who told me that LiveNation (who issues the tickets for the event) did not state that the tickets were not being honored (which is not what Starlight implied multiple times). And that if not they would guarantee entry or a refund if my ticket was not honored.I come back the night of the event, walk to the ticket window, and low and behold they reprinted the ticket with a new one. This ill-informed, misbegotten, and malicious effort on Starlight to waste my time and energy due to some issue with another service, epitomizes the poor service to customers who attend their venue. I regularly buy tickets directly through their site, and they way they treated a person who went 3rd party for a hard to find ticket, shows their callous disregard for customer service, and speaks volumes to how poorly managed this space is. This treatment shows the venomous disrespect for a customer and guarantees that the value they hold is one of greed and money, and not to servicing the persons who frequent their establishment.
HeatherAnne Norbury: The shows are spectacular! We've really enjoyed our Broadway series season tickets and will definitely participate again in the future.
Albert Miller: Great performance.
Greg Trial: Had a good time.Matt Nathanson was awesome!
neil solomon: A kanas City tradition
April Wolf: What a great night. Can't wait to come back to see other venues.
Michael Cunningham: Great venue. Good cocktails. Wonderful temperature. They even had two ladies signing the songs (probably for all the close-to-deaf musicians in the audience.)
Tracy Duke: We had the best time at the Louis Tomlinson concert on 6/10. We did the Applause Club pre-concert food. It was really good!! The entertainment in Applause Club was good too. We bought merchright before Louis went onstage. The whole place was rockin'!!!! And I had great seats. My daughter and her girlfriend were in row B on the right side. The girlfriend even got to touch Louis on the shoulder! It was a great night for all of us!!!
Mike Stocker: Awesome venue for a concert
Tracy Blackmore: What a beautiful place to take in the arts!I've visited Starlight Theater for both plays and concerts dating back to the 1980's.The open-air atmosphere adds to any event you may attend. The volunteers are all awesome, the venue clean, and the options for food and beverage are great.I look forward to the next opportunity I have of taking in the arts and the stars!
Elisabeth Putman: Went to the Matchbox Twenty concert last night at Starlight. Matt Nathanson opened for them. Hadn't heard of him before, but he and his band were great! (I shed several tears on several of their songs) I will definitely buy their music. Then... Matchbox Twenty, 3 years after their last Kansas City show was canceled because of the COVID, came back. I think it's safe to say, they rocked everybody's arses off!!! Thanks for such an amazing evening at the Starlight!
Pete Madrigal: Great weather, and our seats had an excellent view of the stage. We made plans to return very soon.
Cory Elliott: This venue is always amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is easy. Everything is convenient. It's easily my favorite place to see a concert.
Julie Sleister: It Is Awesome!!! Beautiful set up, short drink lines, clean, and great acoustics.
Debbie Hanesworth: Always a good time at Starlight. Worst part is the traffic getting out of the area.
Chris Coffman: Tyler Childers show was amazing! Parking was setup good and ran well.
Amber Lee: Beautiful venue! Large fans really keep air moving in there on those hot summer evenings. Clean bathrooms. Concessions lines move quickly. Always enjoy the sound at this venue, too.
Ryan Propst: Clean and in great shape for an outdoor theater!

North Kansas City YMCA: what do users think?
Kit Waltz: Great pool area and love the water yoga class!
Morgan B: Staff is friendly, facility is clean.
Antonio Rodriguez: The customer service is unreal. One day I can have fantastic customer service.Another day, like today, I can be trying to get a copy of a Member ID Card at 7:54pm but they say they can’t cause their systems are shut down?
Cate Evans: It's a good faculty, but special treatment is given to low income people over paying members. Like, having special hours on the pool. The pool is closed to paying members between 1 and 3, during COVID and still remains in effect in all Kansas City YMCAs. I also use the Y in Platte City and can't use the pool between 1 and 3 for no good reason. Why is this still operating under COVID hours?
Jerry Place: Friendly atmosphere. Not too crowded and not too intense. No judgement and plenty of help if needed. Great place to workout.
Richard Stevens: Nice. Clean. Not crowded
Jim Conway: Clean environment, exercise equipment in good condition, friendly staff.
Amanda Boyers: Best Y for open swim in Kansas City. First, the open swim hours are better. Second, it’s got more amenities than most. Lazy river, hot tub, wet sauna, dry sauna, slides (limited hours), splash park/climbing thing (limited hours). Best place to go with kids of multiple ages. The swim club for kids is great.
Frank Dolci: great facility
Johnny B Goode Music: Today was Absolutely Horrible. A 24 hr Turn around from Super nice to a Horrible Disgrace. Staff could not figure out how to adjust a stable bicycle. Amazing Horrible.
Danielle Gilpin: I love how they are inclusive in hiring special needs adults!
Atlana Johnson: Wonderful place for all ages !
Loraine Castorena: It could be a 5 except the moldy, stank, steam room. I've been wanting to go in since I became a member but I keep waiting for them to clean the mold out of it before I can consider getting in. I joined in December. It's nearly April. It hasn’t been cleaned once during this time.
Mary Hibbard: A life long friend had a birthday party!!Was a nice place to meet..nice and clean, ladies room could of use attention. Over all great place!!
Daniel Bethe: This is the best YMCA of my life. It has a huge open floor plan that’s very inspiring when you see all the possibilities. You see lots of activities and people are spread out with plenty of room. A variety of personal trainers can make long term appointment plans or do a quick orientation tour. Check the website for photos of the amazing pool and river and hot tub. There are activity labs, video games (PS4 and more), 3D printers, computers, and a music recording studio, all maintained by volunteer kids and overseen by staff. Best Buy donated $20,000 of gear so 3D printing is all free even without a membership. There’s a daily food bank because these people all have hearts of gold.
Addyson Trowbridge: Ok
Linda Currid: I love the NKC Y but wish the pool was open later on Saturday (only open until 2!), They would play overhead music and their class schedule was correct. I got up super early to go to a specific class this morning at 5:30 a.m. and it wasn't that class
William Gonzalez: I really love this ymca
Andrew Jensen: Would help if persons answering the phones could answer simple questions rather than hang up on you. Very politely asked if they would ever be going back to pre covid hours as closing at 8 is difficult for people who work late. "No extended hours" was the response and when I rephrase my question I was hung up on. Calling back did no good and there is no place to leave a message. At this point it's absolutely ridiculous to pay as much as we do for such limited hours well beyond any excuse of covid policy.
Sheri Finley: Everyone I have come in contact with has been super friendly. I am working with a personal trainer and I have also participated in a group exercise class. I love it!
Kevin Cronk: Took my two boys here to swim, the schedule said the kid zone was open 9:30-1pm. Showed up at 11am and the kid zone and the slide were closed. We had to swim in a small area next to the hot tub. Then, knowing the kid zone was closed, they wanted to yell at my 4 yr old for wanting to jump off the stairs into the deeper water. 3 more kids showed up to swim while we were there and yet they still refused to open the kid area. Pretty disappointing to say the least. They should stop mentioning the kid area or the slide when they are giving you a tour trying to get your membership since it’s never open or operational.
