Came here with family and wanted to enjoy coffee, but you can't "enjoy" coffee when you're constantly bothered by wait staff to order something other than coffee. There's two areas of seating. The staff is confused on what they should do to serve or wait on people.Coffee was mid, and the food/pastries were mid. Cleintelle was older, so if you're old this place is great. Otherwise, staff is rude, incompetent, and annoying. One woman in particular took the time to stop waiting her tables and went to our table (which she wasn't waiting on) and said my sister-in-law couldn't bring in food, and she was feeding my nephew. Like, alright, let me take out the food from his belly and throw it in the trash and eat gluten even though she's allergic.Look at my reviews, they're not this long or this bad. Literally worst place/experience in KC. Credit to the male and female baristas up front, very kind folk that served our coffee. Everyone else can take a hike.Dietary restrictions: Not very gluten tolerant.

RedBullKC: A blessing of a location to be in Union Station! We were exploring and visited the exhibit within a short amount of time! ⏲️ We looked the chocolate 🍫 treats over and decided upon ice cream 🍦 instead! The ice cream was locally made, and okay, flavors! 👍 The server wasn't very friendly, and I suspect she meets indecisive kids each day, but should be used to it! You'd think!

Billie Evans: This place has insanely good looking chocolates. We were just going to browse, but decided to split a candy apple, 4 ways. I can't remember which flavor we chose, but I do remember it was probably one of the best sweet things I've had in quite a while. But, get this...what REALLY blew me away was how they sliced the apple. I have avoided candy apples since about the age of 10 because they're such a mess to eat. Well, the guy just took that apple like it had no stick and sliced it 4 times, like it had no stick...just like you do it in your kitchen. I know, right? Four of us looked in amazement at the simplicity of that task. If you don't get what I'm talking about, I really can't explain it. All I know is that the four of us, aged 30 to 65 were flabbergasted!! Call us crazy....Anyway, YES! GO!

My son and I purchased chocolate (a cluster and a dipped ding dong), both very tasty, but the grand children got caramel apples and let us taste them, heaven! Leah Lambart: This is a cute little candy and ice cream shop within Union station. They have caramel apples, many candy choices such a truffles and turtles, hand scooped ice cream. We love stopping here while at Union station for a fun treat. They have a couple tables just outside the shop. Otherwise there's not really a place to sit.

Natalie Roberts: I am a frequent flier to Annedore’s. Their chocolates are truly unique! They are the perfect treats for yourself or gifts for loved ones. I especially love their gelato in the summer time, gives me a great excuse to meet up with friends and get outside. The staff is very welcoming and courteous as well.I do have a suggestion to get fancier bags and packaging that advertise the Annedore’s brand. I’ve given away several of their melt away chocolates as gifts and no one knew where they came from since they were in a plain white bag. But don’t fret, I will still be back to purchase plenty of chocolates.

Harry W: This place is a Kansas City institution. Amazing food and desert and coffee, it's a must try! We are regulars on weekends for the lunch special, that comes with bread, fancy coffee drink, main entre, sides, and a piece of pastry from the display case. All for about 20 dollars, it's absolutely amazing. Makes you feel like you are in a small cafe in Europe!Owners are always there and very friendly, and the service always top notch. I chose the pretzel cookie with dark chocolate for dessert. The quiche melted in my mouth and the crust was absolute perfection! The carrot salad was a perfect combination of tart and sweet tastes. The sliced beets another perfect medley of tastes! Andres is renowned for their chocolates so don't leave without trying something! I had the pretzel cookie which was a sugar cookie shaped like a pretzel with either sugar, milk chocolate or dark chocolate over it. Of course I chose the dark chocolate served with homemade cream on the side. The chocolate made me swoon as the sugar cookie and dark chocolate vied for majority. It's a pre priced meal and for 18.67 I had a drink, meal and dessert. Get to this place QUICKLY! you will not be disappointed!

Jesse Shaw: My wife and I were in town for the Top Gun softball tournament in June with our 14 year old daughter and we stopped here for some KC BBQ. Really we stopped to try the "Z-Man" sandwich that Peter Schrager (NFL Network) claimed was soo good. The place was packed on a Thursday at 11:30am. In fact the line was out the door (see pic). But the line only took 25 minutes and the wait staff was very good about keeping people from sitting at a table before they even ordered, which also worked very well with having plenty of seats available when we actually got our food. Also we placed our order at the cash register and had our food within 60 seconds. We ordered the Z-man, The Carolina Pig and my daughter had a kids chicken dinner. For sides we had the Mac-n-Cheese and BBQ Baked Beans. The Mac-n-Cheese was good but the Baked Beans were over done to me. Like the beans were kinda smashed and mushy. We did not finish them. My daughters chicken looked good but as she took the meat off the bone there were a couple pink parts and definitely a spot of red blood. Overall great food, I will just stay away from the kids chicken dinner and baked beans next time.

I was nervous to order some to be delivered on a hot weekend. My friend said when they were delivered they were soft, but not melted. The picture she sent me appeared just as the photo on the website. Would order again!

Linda Cheung: Parisian quality chocolates in Kansas City. Their fruit bonbons are intensely fruity and moderately sweet not overly sweet. I don’t usually enjoy white chocolate but their seasonal raspberry caramel is one of the best. My other favorites are the rosemary, lavender, fleur de sel, and banana foster bonbons and the dark chocolate fleur de sel pecan caramels. Their KC storefront is nice for fresh chocolates with little to no packaging. I’ve since moved to Los Angeles but still love ordering and trying their new seasonal collections every year.
Molly House: The drinking chocolate is the best thing you will ever have. definitely make a box of assorted beautiful chocolates and grab a peanut butter patty. Everything there is phenomenal.

Claudette A Parker: One of my clients brought me the 48 count box as a gift. These chocolates were so beautiful and unique that I couldn't bring myself to destroying one by eating it for the first day. By the second day, I couldn't resist and ate four or five. On the third day, I am ashamed to say that I finished off the entire box. The flavors were so decadent and also unique. I especially loved the raspberry ganache and the aztec spice. If you want to impress someone who loves chocolates, this is the place to buy them. I highly recommend based on appearance and taste.

Staci Meyer: My husband went in to grab a little treat for us after dinner and was asked if he wanted our apple cut (sure?) it was handed to him like this…….what if it was a treat for a birthday or a boss???? Presentation was unacceptable. No gloves were worn either??? Spending $19 on a soft/tasteless apple and some peanut butter fudge was not worth it at all. Crazy disappointed and won’t be back.

Chris Pantaenius: We ordered a Thanksgiving gift basket that included homemade cake pops (red velvet are the best!) as well as fudge and candied apples. The kids in our family instantly devoured the cake pops, and the fudge was excellent too (quite rich though). However, my favorite item was the "apple pie" caramel apple. It's definitely worth the price of admission!
