Made In Kansas City: what do users think?
Mary Lee (FiftyFourTenStudio): Made in Kansas City has a fabulous selection of locally made items celebrating everything we love about KC. One of my favorite places to shop for gifts!
Margo Keck: Bit pricey but what a lovely place to go and pick up some gifts for my family back in Palm Beach. My mom loved the Apple Butter and dad loves his K.C. shirt. Will be back
Brenda Streit: Nancy is wonderful!!
Jennifer: I visited this store looking for white elephant gifts for my out of state work. The employees were enthusiastic and helpful during my shopping experience. Next time I need KC related items I will definitely be going back to this location.
Bee Charintorn: Looking for a great gift to friend, family and customer from out of town or even in town? This is your place to find everything that is made in Kansas City! They got everything from famous BBQ sauce to everything about our famous Chiefs! The place is very clean and there are plenty of parking space in Corinth Square.
Lucy T: Great selection of items and the lady was very friendly. She gave us tips on places to go from a locals perspective.
S M: Awesome selection of local gear, and super friendly staff! Great spot and plenty of room to browse.
Vickie Moore: Always nice to go and see what's new in KC.
Alexis Carlson: Cool local finds and nice selection of handmade souvenirs. Cashier was very friendly and gave me suggestions of some local attractions to check out while in town. Will be back to check out new merch when back in the area!
Tricia Dierks: Made in KC has gifts and items for everyone!! I got these two things and am very happy with my purchases! The staff is also very helpful with getting ideas and helping to find what you might be looking for.
Margaret Suddarth Bansemer: Cute little shop with items by by KC people. Many unique items. Lots of postcards for me to choose from (I collect postcards)
Nick Hayden: This is a great place to find a gift for those who live in Kansas City. This is also great if you want to give something reflecting Kansas City. They have a nice assortment and the prices are just like you would find in other retail stores. That is if you can find them...They have some unique items that are only at their locations. I have been buying birthday and Christmas gifts from them for the past few years. They have a couple locations so you can easily find one. Personally, The biggest hit are the posters and shirts and then some of the general little house decor.
kathryn kilfoyle: Fun, all kinds of food stuffs, clothing, jewlery, specialty items made in KS !
Leah Garrett: One of my favorite shops to visit whenever I visit here, the staff is always friendly and on top of that the gifts are so one of kind. I love supporting local businesses like these! Can't wait to share with those in Atlanta, GA.
Kim Pickell: Fun selection and the sales associates are helpful and informative...I love to shop here!
Tim Haake: Excellent customer service. This store “gets it” when it comes to customer experience. I received a gift almost two months ago and was delayed in exchanging the gift for a different size. Without a receipt, they made the exchange with a smile and gratitude. I’d never been in their store before. They gained an enthusiastic customer today. Thank you!
Timothy McKay: Great selection
Shelby Kamerick: Such a cute store. Highly recommend!
Mike Weber: Nice little boutique featuring products made locally. Stock changes frequently so be sure to stop back by!
Lisa Sanesanong: I love all their t-shirts. Best KC gift shop, all things Kansas City.

Country Club Plaza: what do users think?
Ken Heaton: Love The Plaza
Freddie Weisshaar: Awesome people and great place to visit and have fun things to do 🖤🖤🖤
Linda Hammond: It's nice not very many clothing stores
Robert Dingman: Getting across the street is a chor sometimes, but the shops are nice.
James Symmonds: Chain stores in an open air mall setting. Seems to be on a slow decline. Absolute shame that they knocked down a classic part of Plaza architecture for someone who has decided to pull out. That's going to be a hard recovery and I suspect that the soul of the plaza is going to continue to get sucked out of the place by developers. Update: sure enough. Plaza lighting really sucked this year.
Les Bro: It is always nice to get to the Plaza. It's a great date night place. I love it in the summertime in the evenings. The fountains are beautiful and romantic. There are lots of restaurants and stores to stroll through during the day. If you are visiting Kansas City, the Plaza is a great place to go. You will see all types of people, especially in the summertime. It is a great place to people watch.Unattended teens have a 9:00 pm, police enforced curfew.
Levi Crane: More cops driving around than stores to shop from
Chris Godfrey: It's a Kansas City staple if you have out of town guests, but less of a destination for locals.
Nannette Young: Chuy's was great enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
Kassi Moore: I only give it four stars because I didn't go anywhere other than three dog bakery and a cheese shop. The bakery is amazing!!
Lilith Bleed: A walk among historic buildings and sculptures. Nice stores and restaurants.
Angeles Fernandez Muciño: One of my fav shopping spots
Ndue Sokoli: Top-notch service
John Ross: It's been in my Life for 65 yo, always been a KC fav.
Jacob Rose: Yeah. Touristy, but nice. Enjoyable when underpopulated. Art fair is cool.
Marion Williams: I like going to the plaza. Cheesecake Factory. Barnes and Noble. So many places to explore.
Carter Taylor: It’s a known issue that the restroom accommodations are a huge issue and that the lack of publicly accessible facilities is a major failure of planning, a barrier to those who have disabilities and discriminatory against women. It does not matter if it’s you or your small child, they will not let you use the restrooms in many stores and even restaurants. They’ll send you down the street and you have to hope that the one place that lets others use the bathroom will be open, have no line, and not be out of order like they often are when handling that volume of people. These policies may have been put in place to prevent the unhoused from being in the area, but they majorly impact other groups as well.
katie boyce: Always beautiful.
Chau Nguyen: Nice place
Gary Snyder: Great shopping, variety, and atmosphere

Made in KC Marketplace: what do users think?
Mary Jane Swift: They have a wide selection of items made by local artist. Jewelry, cards, baked goods, ceramics, wine, etc. staff was very friendly and helpful.
Don Leming: Great selection and drinks, too.
James McBee: Always a great place to find kc originals!
Manmith Reddy: Good Coffee place
Haley Alderman: Such a fun place to find local made KC items, I love the bar in the back!! My kids love getting a decorated sugar cookie every time we visit!
Abby Scott: Great finds and store fun to shop around
Kevin Hobbs: Cool store
Travis Copple: Great selection.
Heather .Heater: If you are looking for the perfect gift from KC. Made in KC is the place to stop. They have everything from stickers to posters, BBQ sauce to pickles. There is something there for everyone. My favorite thing is that everything is made locally by small business or staples in the community. So you are able to pick up something units souvenir or a gift for the KC lover.
Sara Cramer: Love this store for all my gifting goodies!!!
Maria Dewey: Would honestly give more stars if that was an option. I had an iced carmel latte with one of their caprese sandwiches. The food and coffee were amazing. However, most of all I enjoyed the friendly smiles, warm and happy greetings, and amazing customer service from Stephen and Lauren. They are absolutely outstanding. I can't wait to enjoy more of my breaks here, as I am only across the street at Claire's. Thank you, Lauren and Stephen for your amazing customer service.
Nicole Ten Napel: I love that this spot has a bar, coffee options, and shopping. There are also vegan breakfast options!
Samantha Kern: Tourist trap. Nothing of interest and overpriced with less than friendly staff.
Christie A: Loved coming in here for a lucky ladybug 🐞 cookie 🍪! Thank you!
Kayla Vada-Hays: Decent place. Organized and clean.Prices though we're high.
XxZombieKillerxX: Very big and full of different stuff ranging from bars, coffee shop, free wifi, chocolate, clothing items, and candles :)
Felicia: LOVE the one-stop local shop when traveling and this place had an awesome selection and variety of artists and items.
Stephanie Newcomb: The Bartenders were very knowledgeable and very friendly. Had a great time tasting local beers and spirits.
Kathrynne R.: Cute shop, lots of interesting options. There's a lot of KC graphic items if you're visiting and want a souvenir or are just proud of where you live, but out of all their brands, the little bee keeper/honeycomb products stashed in the far corner was the most worthy. They have honey cosmetics and candles, and themed jewelry and other cute little objects like finger puppets. Reasonably priced and definitely adorable
John Rau: Love these types of places! Lots of variety, cute shops.
Cory Smith: I love that it's local but their prices are astronomical for almost no product and it's not great what you do get. I'll go to the roasterie any day for better coffee and snack.

Finefolk: what do users think?
Wuji Fei: Nice clothing shop. Carries a lot of imported brands that are hard to find. The owner is super friendly and knows us by name. Highly recommend.
Addison Horsley: Beautiful shop. However the owner treated me and my friend like trash. Never shopping there again.
jane booth: Finefolk's owner Leslie Fraley has a terrific eye for unique styles; she and her staff are delightful to work with. I was treated to a private pre-opening experience when I was looking for a special piece for a recent event, so lovely. It's a whole new experience in shopping!
David Rosazza: Beautiful shop
Kelly Kuhn: This is the best women's apparel store in KC.The clothes are sophisticated, cool and unusual. And the staff is so fun to work with! Every item I've purchased, I know I will treasure forever.
Neil Bardon: Amazing space and people! By far the best concept/fashion/womenswear store in K.C.!
Liza cartwright: Hidden gem and the owner is the best buyer in Kansas City. Nobody even comes close. LOVE THIS SHOP!

Made in KC: what do users think?
Kawana Coleman: Nice
Laura Q. Rainey: Very nice people and such a great array of KC items.
Wuji Fei: Standard Made in KC experience. If you have been to one of the stores, you kinda been to all of them. I think the one in Plaza is a bit different as it has several food options and also have dedicated local artist stalls. One thing I don't like about the whole chain is everything has pretty much 2 colors, red and yellow, and KC labels are pretty much on all the stuff you buy. I understand the support for local goods but this is a bit too much. Local made can manifest in many ways other than simply just use red and yellow and Chiefs...
Dan K.: Lots of stuff, nice woman working. Great views.
Jarod Muncy: I was greeted warmly and the clerk did everything possible to help me find the shirt I wanted, going so far as to call other stores. None of them having it in stock, passed along a free shipping pass for the website to order it there. This place is a jewel to KC.
Alexander Vallar: The entire store is full of Kansas City memorbilia; From unique arrangement of tees shirts to Barbeque sauce. Great local store to shop for that 'Kansas City' enthusiast in your life!
Ali Harlin: This place is a lot of fun to walk through. They have gorgeous prints and a lot of fun shirts. I found masks, made in KC, that are awesome. I am definitely going to visit this boutique when looking for gifts.
Toxn Toxn (Toxn): Cute store of local oriented and I believe made goods, the staff were super patient and helpful and I got some really cute socks. Would recommend.
Justin Mohn: Great KC merch!
Kaylan Schreffler: Great shop, lots of local KC products. Definitely could have spent my entire paycheck here!
Peter Farrell: A lot of items made in Kansas City for sale. Some clothing items, food items. KC is famous for BBQ.
Gilbert Recker: Very helpful young lady help me find gifts to take back to my hometown.
Mario Martinez: Great time well worth it! Guy's you want to pick up girls or take one some where to go. This is the place.
Wendell Boydston: It is welcoming, pretty ,relaxing, and so much more
Kyle Green: Small boutique with Kansas City themed apparel and accessories.
Marilyn Hector: Great selection of food, household items, and Charlie Hustle shirts!
Ted Heater: Nice selection, very nice service, great location, prices affordable..
Shane Seymour: Interesting store with good souvenirs of KC.
Alex Erbeck: Incredibly informative staff- they are coffee experts, and they have a lot of fun doing what they do! The menu is a lot of fun- I recommend the oat milk latte with honey syrup- YUMMM! They also have a clever "Cereal-milk" latte. I'll say, it's a limited menu, but they do what they do really well.
Andy M: Love this place for those 3 KC shirts and other merchandise. Will continue to shop here for other items as well.

Crown Center: what do users think?
Balaji Sivasubramanian: Amazing food.. Amazing fountains and places to walk around.
Clarissa Feldman: We didn't stay here, but will definitely plan to in the future. Lots of shopping and dinning places. Easy walking as have skywalks over busy streets. Can easily access downtown events.
Mariella Seton: Bring your patience with you. As a first time visitor, traffic mall signs would've been helpful. The parking lot was difficult to find. Roads that my GPS was telling me to take were closed. Drove around several times. This mall is not your typical mall. Get a map and parking validated from customer service.
Austin craft: It was crowded because of the festival going on this weekend but overall everything was great. Took the family to sea life and afterwards had lunch at Curry in a Hurry. Which was the highlight of my trip.
bilohf tv: A luxury shopping center
jpg archive: It's a neat, clean, modest-sized, very kid-friendly mall in an excellent location. My main complaint is: who thinks it's a great idea to close up at 6pm??? C'mon, people.
Max Steel: Been going there since I was a little kid love it!!!!
Martez Crain: Many places to stop and grab a bite to eat, or shop around. They had a fairytale exhibit for the kids and it was free. The kids had a blast.
Kassi Moore: I was expecting there to be more shops. I went there to get a souvenirs and walking the whole mall I was able to find only one thing. Not worth it in my opinion
Elisabeth Putman: Was there for the Hospital Hill Run
Frecky Lewis: I had to update my review after visiting Crown Center again last weekend with my family. I'm not sure if the owners of the mall know this, but in order to sell things your stores have to be OPEN. The stores in this mall all close at 6:00 pm on Saturday. We had just finished our dinner at Fritz's in the mall, and at 5:45 we walked over to their special "Fairytale" exhibit that was advertised as being open until 6:00. We found the door locked and couldn't get in. When another family came out through the door we poked our heads in and were told by the desk attendant "It's closed." I asked if the signs were wrong and pointed out that they said the exhibit was open until 6, and she said "No, the signs are right, but we stop letting people in before that." She had no hint of friendliness or sympathy for our two obviously very disappointed children. To the mall management: If you close your exhibit at 5:40, don't advertise that it is open until 6 -- or at least, advertise that fact clearly. Knowing the stores would be closing in 15 minutes, we wandered up to the toy store on the top floor and were told even before entering the store "Just so you know, we close soon." I assured them that we wouldn't take up any of their time by spending money there. We made a few quick passes down the aisle at 5:50 and it was clear that the employees had no interest in anything but shooing everyone out. Perhaps they could have said "We close shortly, but is there anything we can help you find quickly?" Nope. No interest in making sales. Amazingly, there were countless other families wandering around the mall and surrounding area at 6:15 looking for something to do, and I guarantee many of them would have spent money in these stores. People say retail is dying; after visiting Crown Center, I can attest that retail isn't just dying, it is committing suicide.
Norma Patterson: Crown Center is the perfect place to do your shopping. The selection of stores is great, the prices are competitive. Plus, the atmosphere is always welcoming.
Rosie Hudson: My kids loved playing at the fairytale village! It's all free to get in. There are so many shops and restaurants inside. It's like a mini mall. Definitely coming back soon.
DIY_Nation_TH: #diynationth
Salton: Some nice activity stations but they may need a little more assistance with each one from staff so it's more clear how they work.
shannon hudson: this place was so relaxing.. my friend and I really enjoyed ourselves. We got icecream inside and walked across the street and ate it by the fountains... it a very pretty place as well!!! We will be returning for another relaxing afternoon.
Chad Motter: It has some cool shops. Something for everyone.
Rachel Anderson: Gorgeous place located perfect with lots of fun places to visit. Kaleidoscope is free, sea life and Lego land are right there plus lots of food and shopping! Fairy tale land is free and lots of fun!
Lisa Laughlin: Lego Land and Aquarium were alot of fun. Kids enjoyed themselves. It was pretty crowded and the space was smaller then expected but overall fun. The Aquarium was beautiful and more peaceful. They had alot of great tanks.
Cody Fry: Love to just walk around and see what I find here you never now
Jason Stidham: Great shopping center

Shop Local KC: what do users think?
Deana W: Shop Local KC has the cutest merchandise! I found two prints while waiting for my order of 400 flowers for Teacher Appreciation Week. The owner, Katie, was terrific and made sure I was delighted with the flowers. I can't wait to check back when the store has new products!
Michaela Hamilton: Always an amazing experience and flower arrangements have always gotten so many compliments!
Mandy Dugan: I love this store. I go there anytime I need to buy a gift. They have pretty flower arrangements and I like knowing I am helping local artists
Matt Brantley: If the owner, Katie, is calling me berating me to take this down, then imagine what else she is hiding. For Valentines day, I pre-ordered "vased flower arrangements". If you look at the picture of the piece of paper, what I was promised was a large bundle of flowers in an actual vase for $60(!). What I actually received was 7 flowers in a mason jar. A Mason Jar is not a vase. And the flowers were really disappointing. This was super disappointing and felt like a clear case of false advertisement. I won't ever pre order something from here again. I called the shop to let them know I wasn't happy and I would like a refund and to return them. Katie answered the phone and didn't seem to care that it was false advertisement. She said "there should be 12 stems" and when I told her there was only 7, her excuse was that there should be 12 stems of flowers AND greenery. There was not even 12 stems altogether. Finally she then tried to coerce me into not returning them because "I won't find anything anywhere else". I don't recommend coming here because they have shady business practices. I plan on following up with Kansas Consumer protection because this is unacceptable. Take your business somewhere else because they don't care about the consumer.ETA: I would like to add that upon seeing this review, Katie decided to call me and get mad at me for "damaging their business's reputation". She is completely unaware that it is the consumers decision to determine if a product or service is considered acceptable. She argued that I shouldn't have left the review after I got my money returned. But that's not how rating a business works. The owner stalked my facebook profile and deemed me "a good person and someone who she would probably get along with" but is mad that I decided to target "Women owned business". I don't know why the hell she is bringing gender into this. But from the phone call she fully expected me to be happy with a poor product simply because I am a man and she is a woman. I am glad Katie has her politics figured out but you don't call a customer and berate them for tarnishing your companies reputation simply because you think I am "supporting the patriarchy." I firmly believe that the only reason she stalked my facebook profile is (through a mutual friend too) because she assumed I was some misogynistic jerk and she needed a reason to be mad about my glowingly negative review.
jill kroeker: Unique, beautifully curated, locally made gifts, fantastic shop girls, and great parking!
Emily Farris: Love this shop! So cute, great selection of locally-made gifts, and I love, love, love my flower subscription.
Megan Nelson: I love this place! Lots of amazing locally made goods and the floral arrangements are so pretty! 😍
Teresa Rice: Such an amazing shop with a wonderful owner and a great purpose!!! 10/10 recommend.
Sarah Orozco: Best floral shop in the area! I love that they also offer products made by local Kansas City makers.
Bill Wald: This shop rules.
Eileen Bobowski: The unique items available at Shop Local KC aré incomparable. Looking for that special gift? This is THE place. The blooms and bouquets are delightfully exquisite and we are lucky to have such talent in Kansas City.
Meghan Throckmorton: Shop Local KC is pure magic! I love that they go above and beyond to showcase and support small businesses, artists, and entrepreneurs. You can see that they care about being part of keeping Kansas City vibrant.Their floral arrangements are always impressive - they are so creative and fun and last forever! I had some once that they deemed a little too wilted to sell - I thought they were perfect and they still lasted longer than an arrangement from a bigger floral retailer. If you love supporting local businesses, like cute things, and want to hang with friendly people, this is the place! 💛💛💛
Elisha Araiza: Best local products. Cute atmosphere!
Tabitha Dawson: Lovely handmade items and the nicest staff. I bought Christmas presents and the lady checking me out took off the price tags she could and marked out the other item's price, so helpful. Love it! Will return many times over!
Alexandria Trujillo: Love this store! Will be back to buy more local art ☺️
rachael messner: This is the perfect shop to pick up one-of-a-kind handmade local KC goods! Joy and charm in every corner - pick up a thoughtful gift, bring an out of town guest to show off KC or to treat yourself! Always the best customer service. 💛
Janice Bonat: Love the beautiful flowers and friendly staff!
Christina Evans: This place was great and so was person running the place. You want art, they got it. You want jewelry, yep. You want clothing, for sure. You want a cute clutch, heck yes. You want honey, body products, stickers, keychains, koozies, whatever. They will probably have something for you. What I really love is the flowers. It was so great to just do one stop for a thoughtful local made gift and some flowers. This is my now go to place for gifts and I will have to come back to treat myself too.
Skittle My Pony: Found a great gift for an artsy precocious 13 year old. Perfect for unique gifts.
Katelyn Poplin: Very small place with a lot to offer!
Kevin Riley: Cool shop, amazing pie

Jody wenzel: Great If you are looking for local gifts! BUT THERE ARE NO ANTIQUES FOR SALE HERE! ALL ANTIQUE ITEMS ARE FOR DISPLAY ONLY!

I ordered something online and when I found out it was too small for me, I came to the store just for them to tell me that sales are final, which they do not advertise and or inform on their online store. Scummy business practices suck, I won’t ever recommend this place.
