ClusterTruck - Kansas City: what do users think?
Alisa West: I'm a person who travels often for work, and I love trying local eateries. Clustertruck had a ton of positive reviews, so I was sold. I should have known something was off when I tried to call and got a voicemail asking to text. Which no one answered until after i finally got the pickup order, but thats another story. Finally found the correct door to ring doorbell and they had food ready to go which was very cool. I ordered a burger combo and pork tacos along with quac and queso. It was kind of a bummer. You can tell the burger patty was frozen and had no flavor other than sweet from the bun. The sidewinder fries were good. I was hoping to get some redemption from the tacos since they have bacon, but they had no flavor even with sauces. The bacon didn't taste like bacon :(....The queso tastes like they melted the Blanco Velveeta and added cream. The quac was the best thing even tho it was browned. I'm super bummed bc I was ready for them to represent but sadly no. I spent 45 bucks ...man im sad :(Hopefully yall have better luck.
Jack U: Really fresh ingredients with variety of diffrent Cuisines to choose from usually when i see burgers and chicken tikka in the same menu they lack in one place or the other but so far this place has exceeded expectations bravo to the chef and staff
Mrs. Wilson: I truly enjoy the lazy breakfast burrito, I can change the stuff and it fits how I'm eating... I really liked it the last time and I truly like this one I've changed this time adding the black beans... Thank you for your service...
Lalita Brown: I love ClusterTruck. The bang! Chicken strips are so delicious. You receive your food very fast delivery! I have not been disappointed yet...
Nikil Ragav: Pretty mediocre. Everything I've bought from here is mediocre.Burrito has waaayy too much rice and not much of anything else,Pizza was rather disappointing.Thai food was pretty mid.Mac and cheese was ok. Probably best of the bunch. This delivery only cloud-kitchen restaurant COULD BE SOOO GOOD, but there's not a single dish (at least as a vegetarian) that makes me want to reorder. You just need 1 killer item!
Arlett Martinez: If you would like 25% off your first order, use this code: KM9180R !!ClusterTruck did NOT disappoint on our first time ordering from them. I wish I would’ve took a picture but we were starvingg lol. The delivery zone ended one block away from where I live, but I selected the address on the corner and was able to walk down there and meet my driver!
Jon Clement: This place is yummy; ordered from here several times. Giant menu with lots to choose from. Don't worry though, it's always delivered hot and fresh. Customer service is also quick to respond and very helpful if you have any issues. Don't think twice, just order- trust me.
Gary Korte: Always great service and food with ClusterTruck. Great variety and their follow-up to ask how things were is top notch service
Amber Pittman: They did make up for a bit with a $10 gift card for future. Not as much as I spent on the food I was upset about but still nice that they reached out to try and make it right .The loaded tots were our favorite. The chicken and fries were great.Got some cluster bread which had great flavor but it was overcooked to where I couldn't eat it.Burgers tasted prepackaged vs fresh.Ordered the parmesan Mac n cheese and paid extra for bacon on top. The bacon wasn't great quality. Tasted like someone poured bacon bits over the top and that wasn't what I expected.Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. The service and timing was great but the quality of food just isn't worth the cost.
Nicole Gisolfi: Outstanding local business on all fronts. The food truly is superior and incredibly reasonable. I have had a full range of items from salads that were plentiful in freshness, variety, and ingredients to the roasted chicken sandwich. The chicken was juicy and moist and dripping with goodness, so many robust flavors! The Pad Thai was great when I was sick and on a gluten free diet, again, full of flavor and ingredients! I have had numerous deliveries over the last several years. Each driver was patient, courteous, pleasant, and on time!!
Michelle T: Great food! My favorite is the pulled pork Mac n cheese! Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!
Kyndal Reents: There's something for everyone! Whatever you are in the mood for, they have it and it's always delicious. I've tried the pizza, breakfast, Mac and cheese and Indian food and haven't been disappointed yet. Delivery is always fast and the people are very nice!
Jason Marino: ClusterTruck - KC was awesome! It started when I reached out about a 4 day, 30 person meeting to provide lunches. Ben was great as he created very easy instructions with links, group codes and QR codes. He was very responsive as everyday we had some issue (on our end) that was resolved quickly. The food was great! Not one item missing any of the days and very easy to pay individually and labeled to make passing out lunches easy. Highly recommend and if this meeting comes back to KC we will reach out to ClusterTruck again. Thank you all for your work during our meeting!
Danny Shervington: I love ClusterTruck! The food is high quality and it always comes, as ordered (or modified) and HOT! This is a general GO TO for me when I am in the office for lunch. Highly Recommend!
gary gilfry: Food was delivered super fast and was hot & fresh. Highly recommend!!
Valissa Jones: Amazing food ! So flavorful and well proportioned. Not greasy and always fresh. GREAT line of communication when ordering as well as delivery drivers. They keep you up to date on timing s d even let you know what vehicle so look for. My food has consistently came in the 15-25 minute time frame that was estimated. I’ve eaten here 5-6 times at least already and will continue to do so. Great option when I’m tied up in the office and don’t get a chance to leave. Thank you ClusterTruck !
Gary Schaefer: 5 minutes from order to delivery... I'm so spoiled! Why would I cook? The food is great too!
Rhonda Turner: The food was delicious and on time. Using this service again, this week. :)
Brandi Westbrook: good food and good customer service!!!!
Chas Coffman: Food was excellent. Everthing was delivered on time, and was still warm when I recieved it. I recieved the order exactly as I described it. Thank you for a good meal.
Madi Hicks: Our food always gets to us so fast & it’s always DELICIOUS!

Fran Keal: My adult children and I enjoyed our visit to the Russell. The building is a bit nondescript on the outside, and the parking is around back. The inside is decorated in a very eclectic manner and is very interesting and conducive to staying for a nice chat. We sat inside, but there was outside, seating as well. Orders are placed at the counter, and food is delivered by servers. The menu was interesting with a wide variety of options. All of us liked our entrées and even enjoyed a gluten-free walnut brownie afterwards. Highly recommend for a relaxed, casual evening.
Thuc Ly: I really like the atmosphere and the venue, plenty space indoor and outdoor tables, no worry about parking. Energy, nutrient-dense food, tasting good, big portion given the price. The free detox lemondade jalapeño water is very interesting and refreshing, smells jalapeño but no taste of it though, I would've never ordered it just based on the name. We also got free lavender cookie as they closed down the day, another perk that is also very interesting to try out.

Aisha Wills: We tried this establishment on Saturday after hearing about them on social media. The food was pretty good besides the Brussel sprouts which tasted charred and burnt. The venue is open seating, you choose what u want and order it before you sit down. Water, tea and lemonade are free, but regular beverages like coke for instance, you pay for by the can. Not a bad place to try out. We had the ribeye and lamb chops.
Jacob O'Malley: Best steak sandwich you will find! Just do it, and get the home fries while you're at it. Wash it all down with the lemonade. You can't go wrong. The outside seating was nice but I could see it being a little hot during the summer.

Paul Hagler: Disclaimer: I typically do not enjoy New-Age American pretentious sort of places. I had that expectation walking in here.I WAS REALLY WRONG. Very eclectically and well decorated with a very unique concept and menu.. this place was great. The food was so light but complex. So many different flavors with every bite... It may be the best lunch I've had in KC (minus Gates, but that's a totally different thing but also ironically next door)I'll let the pictures do the talking. This is a real gem.

Q39 - Midtown: what do users think?
Brittnay Foerster: It was our Anniversary and we're new to the KC area, my husband was given this spot as a dinner suggestion. Would I rate it as romantic for an Anniversary dinner? I would not, but that should not stop you from going if you haven't because WOW this BBQ is amazing! We had a bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer that is not pictured (it was that good we ate it way too fast) my only complaint about this dish is there is only four shrimp, I wanted more. Thankfully there were only four as our meals were a pretty good size. I had the brisket plate it came with brisket, burnt ends and two sides, the seasonal vegetables were perfectly cooked and seasoned the french fries we didn't finish as the portions were so big but they were piping hot and delicious but the brisket.. Chefs kiss for sure, they pride themselves on being a competition BBQ spot and it shows. I grew up in Texas where my high school had competition BBQ teams and this felt like home. My husband had the three meat plate his sides were fries and baked beans, I didn't try the beans but from the looks of them when he was done they were phenomenal. He had ribs, sausage and brisket. He said the sausage was his favorite and he would order a double serving next time. I had one of his ribs, they were fork tender and perfectly seasoned. I myself don't care for BBQ sauce and none of the meat needed it, it all stood out on its own. We also ordered the Mac and cheese because well... Mac and cheese! Definitely worth it, you can top it with a choice of meats or let it stand alone and eat it as is. Price was a little steep but you get what you pay for and it was worth every penny. We did not do dessert but not because the choices didn't sound good, it was mainly for the reason of complete and total belly fullness and satisfaction. If you've never been, give this place a shot!
Vern Toews: Start work a flight of whiskey. Great way to sample the local liquid offerings. Then brisket and ribs and beans! The reviews about this place were not overstated. If you can get in here for a meal don't most this stop in KC.Very highly recommended!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
philedup: Amazing food!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
patrick keen: Food was good. I got the 2 meat plate but added the smoked pork belly. I think it was a little expensive for the amount of food I got. It was good. One of the better places I have tried for KC BBQ. I will definitely comeback. Other items on the menu peaked my interest.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Leticia Georgia: The best BBQ everything!!! The baby back ribs and brisket literally fall apart from how tender they are! We bring everyone who visits KC with us to enjoy a taste of KCs best BBQ at Q39Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Lindsay “Sweet Clucker” T: This bbq place in Kansas City was recommended to us by multiple people, it exceeded my expectations! It was just what I wanted. The brisket and the ribs were my favorite! The ribs were the best I have ever had. The beans were a little sweet for my liking but everything else was great. We sat at the bar and the service was really good and attentive. I recommend getting there before 11:30 it got very busy after that. The restaurant is beautiful, different vibe than the Austin bbq spots.
Jonneal Justus: The service was great and the food came out almost as fast as Jimmy John's. Elena McNickle: I have never been a big BBQ fan. This place is hands-down the best barbecue I have ever had and I would have it any day. It doesn’t matter what kind of mood I am in, Q39 always makes my mouth water. It is the only place I have been where the brisket has a perfect smoke line, will literally fall apart with your fingers, and has no fat on it. The burnt ends are to die for. And I highly recommend the best wings on the planet for your appetizer, they are called that for a reason. If you are coming on a Friday or Saturday night, or there is a game of some sorts, call ahead to reserve seating or you will have a long wait. The wait is totally worth it, but still.Unfortunately I am moving out of the area soon and I will say this place is probably what I will miss most about KC, and if I ever come back to visit, I will eat here in a heartbeat.Parking: Parking is very hard to come by on a busy night, usually you have to park across the street or somewhere you are not supposed to.
Shannon V: We were in town and wanted some great BBQ. as a family of 13, They got us a table in a reasonable amount of time. The food was amazing. Wait staff was very polite and attentive. They have vegetarian options. Great place, highly recomend.Vegetarian options: They have salmon and veggie burgers for my vegetarian daughter.Kid-friendliness: They had a high chair and kids menu for my grand kids.
Karie Hays: Best server of our vacay. Loved this polite & friendly guy! Oh the burnt ends we’re pretty good too!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
MrWicked98: OMG the food. This place is 2nd to nobody when it comes to BBQ. Ribs and wings here are may favorite. These folks know their BBQ. The sides are amazing as well. They get busy be sure to make a reservation.Kid-friendliness: Don't have kids myself but I saw plenty of kids there. It gets crowded so I wouldn't recommend infants.Parking: Parking lot gets overpowered by the crowd.

Julianne Rabal: This was my first visit to any Capital Grille location. I was celebrating a college graduation with high hopes of having a great experience with my family. Unfortunately that was not the case. We had to wait 45 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. The food was decent, however our server was extremely rude and had an awful attitude the entire evening really spoiling our night. Brett would take our plates and drinks without asking if we were not finished - even when there were still a large sip left. He did not really acknowledge our special occasion. We were expecting much better service for spending $$$$.

Aaron: Went here because my Airbnb was super close and it was recommended. Cool atmosphere. Order at the counter and then grab a seat. Went basic eggs, toast, potato and bacon. Food came out in three minutes flat. Standard fare toast was very soft, potatoes a bit salty and bacon a bit chewy. Huge plate for $12 I couldn’t finish. Coffee was not good. It's like, 'if your building is falling apart and you aren't paying wait staff why do the bacon and eggs cost so much?' Honestly, if this place was marginally cheaper than other breakfast places or if the food was amazing I would go to bat for them, I mean I want to like this place, but I can't...

Todd Hall: My wife and I stopped in for lunch this past Saturday at around 3:30pm. There were three other occupied tables in the restaurant. We were sat at a table that looked toward the bar. The server quickly came over and took our drink orders. As time passed and no drinks, we looked toward the bar and noticed that the bartender was on her phone, then switched to creating schedules for the following week, and then stopped to speak to other employees. In the meantime...no drinks. Embarrassed, the server came over and apologized, and said we'd have our order shortly. A few minutes later he showed up with our drinks (glass of wine and a beer) and apologized that the bartender did not provide a glass - he'd go back and get one. Now the bartender was on the house phone and was totally oblivious of servers & customers. Disgusted, my wife went over to the bar and picked up a glass from a stack of glasses and returned to the table. Immediately, the bartender shouted.. "Mam..you cant do that!" and literally ran out from behind the bar, grabbed a glass and said "This drink needs a specific glass!" and began to berate us (at volumn level 10) in front of customers and employees. My wife said "You're getting loud...getting loud" And the bartender screamed "Oh..I can get louder!!" After she left, the server, who was mortified, came over and apologized over and over again. He then went over to notify the manager of the situation and told us he did so. Never once did the manager acknowledge us, or address the issue. Needless to say, we made a point to speak with him before we left.We have been regular customers of this restaurant and were/are outright appauled at the gross unprofessionalism of both the bartender...and the Manager. We will not eat there again.
Annesley Helmstetter: Enjoyed a delicious Sunday Brunch with wonderful family and friends!

Chad Trease: Everything was 5 stars across the board. Amazing, eclectic dishes and cocktails, and the entire staff was as warm and kind as could be. Put Antler Room on your list (ideally at the top) if you've never been. We'll certainly be back.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Megan Anderson: One of my favorite restaurants in Kansas City! If you are a foodie as we are, you will certainly find dishes unlike anything you have had before. We leave every time excited about numerous dishes and trying things we never would have considered. For example, SWEETBREADS, they make them absolutely divine. I love that everyday we walk through the doors that the menu is brand new and inventive! We love sitting at the bar near the kitchen so we can watch everyone channel their creative skills. A must try!
Shai Mason: Hands down the best food and service I have received. I will definitely be stopping in Kansas City just to eat here. Big props to Drew and Chris for making me and my friend feel welcomed even though we strolled in near the end of service. The food was immaculate and the kindness and down-to-earth nature of the people working at the Antler Room is refreshing. I appreciate how much work goes into each dish and if you want to have a wonderful experience you should come here.
Evan Glasier: One of the most overrated places I’ve ever eaten. Minuscule portions at NYC prices.
Matthew Rowland: Great experience from start to finish!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Seared Duck Breast …More
Jason Phelps: Cool place

Emily Lemus: The Antler Room is my new favorite spot in KC! Food was beyond my expectations and their menu has a little bit for everyone whilst still being adventurous. Service was great as well! It was my first time ever here and the friendliness of the staff and just general vibe was lovely; Such a small cozy place to enjoy a delicious meal!
Charles Franklin: Our family joined my wife and me to celebrate our anniversary. We had been here before and were somewhat familiar. The dishes are seasonal, so you may not get something you had before. We ordered one of everything and split it. They put their touch on every dish, and it is delicious. Katie was our server, and she was attentive to us. She kept our drinks charged and plates and silverware clean.
Jessica Hazlett: I went in not knowing what to expect, so I was very worried when I found out it was a family-style serving situation, especially considering the small dishes I'd seen in reviews. Sharing the small (delicious) dishes among 4 people definitely left us wanting more, but by the end of the last course I was full. Not overstuffed, not too full to walk, but satisfied, which I very much prefer. I loved it, but if I were to go back, I would probably stick with a party of 2 instead of 4.
Amy Fantasma: Delicious!! Food is excellent!
Barbara Findley: Amazing food and the service was impeccable! We loved the experience and highly recommend it for a great dining experience. I can't wait to go again when I am in Kansas City.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Allison Koelzer: Incredible, eclectic dishes in a vibey, friendly environment. Cocktail and bar program is always banging!Go for the veg forward dishes, you’ll fall in love with greens and root veggies in a way you didn’t think you could!
Darrell Loo: The Antler Room is my favorite restaurant in town, and as always, my recent visit on Thursday didn't disappoint. I had just returned to town and was eager to relax in a comfortable atmosphere. Settling at the bar with a delightful glass of wine, I perused the seasonal menu with anticipation. My meal began with the irresistible Nori Shokupan, a must-have staple whenever I spot it on the menu. I continued with the Romanesco dish, featuring golden hummus, anchovy brown butter, crispy chickpeas, and anchovies. This flavorful dish showcased fresh, delectable vegetables. Another standout was the Cucumber dish with smoked salmavocado, tahini sauce, and buckwheat lavosh in a rose vinaigrette. This simple, refreshing dish was beautifully balanced by the vinaigrette.Next, I savored the Pan-Roasted Veal Sweetbreads, accompanied by beef tallow whipped potatoes, endive, white wine mustard sauce, croutons, capers, and rosemary. This hearty, comforting dish was a delight. I also enjoyed the Seared Duck Breast, served with fried sunchokes, local spinach, ravigote, and umeaboshi plum jus. The duck was cooked to perfection, and the sweet umeaboshi plum jus perfectly complemented the dish.To conclude my meal, I couldn't resist the Coconut Panna Cotta with pandan ice cream, mango sauce, and caramel tuille. This light, refreshing dessert, reminiscent of spring, provided the ideal ending to my dining experience.
Warda Shafi: I always prefer better quality food in small plates over mediocre food piled on the plates. I had the haddock with bok choy, sushi rice, caviar, and mushrooms. The dish was a little soupy, always a plus for me since I'm a huge soup fan. The food was delicious and looked wonderful, and I could tell the ingredients were of high quality, always a delight. This was a hearty meal, all the while very light on the stomach.
Mark Steele: Really impressive meal in quaint neighborhood of Kansas City. I was recommended here by a local foodie...and their level escalated a few notches. Not a immensely large menu, but quality and thought out. This was my last stop before airport, so only got to enjoy a few items:- Rabbit and Kale Tortellini- Veal SweetbreadBoth were easily paired with a wine by the glass.Everything is well valued, too.Bartender knew his selections and pairings well.My only regret is that I didn't have enough time to enjoy more.Well done to the team. Experiences like this happen only with commitment and leadership at the top.Be smart and assure you stop here. If I lived in vicinity, it'd be a bi-weekly trip.

The American Reserve: what do users think?
Tom Shoemaker: Atmosphere is great, just short of stuffy formal cigar bar style. Service was pretty good. Just had a martini at the bar.Bartenders were young and came across as inexperienced in that casual conversational way that a good bartender has, but I am sure that will improve.Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Lee Turner: Always have the most delicious food. This place never disappoints!
Janice Penn: Fast service food was excellent place was very busy this morning but still very fast and efficient with skimping.
Mr. Weaver: We had about 12 people no one complained about there brunch! Tom (the manager) was awesome! I can't remember our waiters' name but he was also me too! The best hospitality ever! Tom even told me about Lonnie's, I'll be trying that this Friday!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Alpha Landingham: Staff was on point. The restaurant space is rather small and feels kind of crowded. The decoration is art deco, strong 1920s glitz theme. The food was solid standard fare for a four-star hotel. Nothing bad just nothing all that special. I got the steak and my dad got the fish. Our server was definitely worthy of note as were the cocktails/bar.I would give the overall experience 3.8 stars. Enjoyable, but not exceptional.
Rudy Jones: Cool restaurant, nice ambiance. Food was good. Our service was slow, unfortunately. Ordered a drink that was on the menu which they didn't have. Appetizer plates were never removed from the table. Was never offered a dessert menu and our waitress rushed to get us our check and off our table.
Antony SiVelli Jr.: Ate there with my friend because he said selbychef works there… was pumped but apparently he left. The food was atrocious, the service was horrible! I’ve eaten at Gramm and Dunn when he was there… the food was 5 stars! Just shows you how important it is to have a passionate chef. Whoever is there now is absolutely not at the level of the beautiful space they have… can’t believe I wasted my money there. Gotta figure out where this guy went… his food was the best I’ve ever had in KCMO.
Your Friend Dimitry: The food sucks… should bring back that Russian chef. The food was good then.
Annette Berry: Located in the Ambassador hotel, you see a slew of different people, which adds to the electricity of eatery. I've been many times and the food is always good, service is hit or miss. On this last visit, it was definitely a miss. TRAIN YOUR SERVERS! I like Friday nights for live music and good drinks. If not for the consistently good food, I would not return. There are too many good places to eat in KC to pay for bad service, please fix it!
Lynn Williams: A very beautiful, well kept, awesome restaurant with great food at reasonable prices!Kid-friendliness: The children seemed at homeParking: Valet is the way to go!
Karan Sethi: Delicious cocktails and fine ambience 👍Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Steven Martens: Historical hotel restaurant with good food. This is a very nice dining establishment and they had a solo artist who was very good. The only complaint was it was too loud to carry on a conversation.
Charles Wells: One of the best steaks I've ever had in kc. Got the KC strip, they nailed it on the sides and the cook. No complaints will be back.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Lauren H.: The American Reserve is a poorly managed hotel bar with a cool atmosphere disguised as an upscale restaurant.I made birthday dinner reservations here since I assumed it was an elegant place. My husband and I arrived, dressed to the nines, to find an empty restaurant with people in sweatpants and slippers watching ESPN on the bar TVs. Awkward. As the host was seating us, we mentioned to her that it was my birthday. After being seated, our patronizing male server came to the table and asked me, “I heard it’s your birthday, hun?” I’m an adult woman turning 37 — not seven — “hun.”The server then proceeded to tell us that the restaurant was out of spinach dip and okra appetizers. He then asked to see my husband’s menu because he said he didn’t remember all the other items they were out of. He further said they were also out of the salmon entree and had no fish for the market fish entree. I’m a pescatarian, and so I was left with absolutely no entree that I could even eat.We left and went to Lidia’s where they were able to serve everything published on their menu and had a respectful server and delicious food. Five stars to Lidia’s!As we were leaving the American Reserve to go to Lidia's, the host and the hotel front desk staff person tried giving us coupons for other restaurants in the area. They oddly didn’t try to give us a coupon for their own business. The host told us that if we would come back next week, the American Reserve would have a new menu. They can’t even get a grip on their existing menu — why should we expect them to properly handle a new menu?
Luis Sanchez: Great steak! Lots of options for fine dining.Recommended dishes Steak and Fries …More
Meredith Harmon: Gary was an amazing server, blacked chicken with the mac and cheese was delicious, winter mules were perfection
Wendy Darragh: Michael was awesome. Food not great - the steak was like eating at a wedding. Had been cooked earlier and the sides cold. Great atmosphere & drinks though!
Chelsey B: Went to celebrate two friends getting married. The service was okay, had a few large gaps in getting drinks and ordering food. The atmosphere was nice except the background sounds were really loud. I felt like I had to yell at the people I was sitting with to have a conversation. The food was okay. The wine was fantastic. They have a much wider variety of alcohol than they do food. Limited menu and I have food allergies so I could literally only order a grilled cheese sandwich and it was bland. I will not return. I can go elsewhere with more menu items and for a much cheaper price. I literally spent $100 for 3 glasses of wine, a grilled cheese, and a bowl of soup.
Jesus Roth: Amazing food and even better service. Was so impressed by everything about this place!
Alma Aragon: Can't say enough about the quality of the food. Good atmosphere and pleasant staff. Excellent downtown location.
