Zubra Mutenyo: Ordered two boba drinks for delivery about 1 hour and 15 minutes before closing! Was waiting for a while for our drinks having really wanted some boba. But no drinks came or even a call from Kung Fu Tea to let us know that they weren’t planning on delivering the drinks.When we called asking for when our drinks would be delivered, the staff told us that they didn’t offer delivery yet we had ordered for delivery through door dash.So then we waited the next when they reopened to try and get our drinks that were never sent. But they said that it wasn’t their responsibility and would not be giving us free drinks. Which if you ask me, we had paid full price for them so they’re not free but oh well.Overall terrible experience, never again!

That would be okay for me if only the drinks weren't $5.50 each which is about the price of regular boba. Maybe if the drinks were cheaper then it would be a bit more redeemable.I got the Thai Tea both times which might've been my own fault because it just tasted like a regular milk tea.The people working there have also been pretty nice though which made me bump it up one star.

The taro milk tea that I got had perfect flavor and sweetness and the boba texture was spot on. The entire store, even the bathrooms, was really clean and nicely decorated. Jennifer May: I came here on the 4th june with my son. We had to wait for a while, and two different people had come out and saw us and went back to the back. I am assuming a manager was taking care of something and was very friendly and said someone would be with me in just a moment. However the two employees that came out to make our drinks seemed moody. One of them even rolled their eyes as I went to grab us straws and then went to get them for us with Tongs. There were none of those on my side of the counter, so I was unaware and apologized. He and I both had the same drink with one difference as the amount of boba. But mine tasted like it was mixed with water there was absolutely no flavor. And even my son who downs these drinks, couldn't drink it. This was a very disappointing trip. We did not want to go back in to have One of the girls remake it in fear of how it would come out.

Na- Na: I love the atmosphere of this place. It’s surrounded by so much beautiful culture. I wish they had seating on the inside although you could go sit near the front of the store. They have a ton of options, so it’s unlikely that you’ll never be satisfied. The drinks I’ve tried are alright. So far I’ve had the Mangonada, Horchata, and Strawberry Smoothie. The mangonada was not good I’d prefer if it hadn’t had the jelly things in it and had real fruit. I probably should’ve inquired further before purchasing, though. The horchata was alright I’d give it a 7/10, not as powdery as other Horchatas I’ve tried. The strawberry smoothie was good I included strawberry poppings which made it a bit more overwhelming for me personally, but my friend liked it.

Suditi Challa: I decided to try this new boba place from my usual one. I’ve been here a couple times but both times service was not very good. It took 20 minutes to get my drink and I was the only person in the store. I also ordered a mixed berry latte and it did not have any of the syrups that were advertised in the pictures but rather was just sweetened milk. There was also very little boba in the cup when I ordered extra boba. Most of all, the cup was only filled 2/3 of the way. I even came another time to see if it was just made wrong one day but it was not good either day. Will not be going back again.

Julia Vaca: I went to Bruu for the first time, the store is very cute cozy inside but when I had a issue with my order (didnt realize red bull drink was ordered for my 4yr old son) and I simply was trying to not make it any more difficult on the girls behind the counter. When I asked instead of being helpful the one shorter lady behind the counter was extremely rude and cut me off mid sentence when I was asking a question. So I then told her never mind cause clearly she was upset about changing my drink for my son. I waited patiently at the front till my oder was up. When it was my turn she turn to me and asked for a receipt which is fine, but mind you the entire time I stayed at the counter waiting (25 min) she did not once ask a single customer for a receipt. I am very unpleased and shocked at the terrible customer service here! Very rude and the lady behind the counter need to learn some manners of get some patients cause its not a good look for the business.

Pedro Santana: Ordered a matcha latte and the machine apparently ordered a different drink, it printed out the random drink and I didn't notice as it charged me the same price. I noticed as they gave me the drink but as I told them it was not what I ordered they refused to give me the drink I ordered and had to keep the random drink the machine ordered (which was terrible). Very poor service and rude employers.

The_Ineffable: The boba, smoothies, and the place is overall amazing. The only problem is they leave one worker to handle hoards of people. I can get that job shortages can affect businesses but this is kinda ridiculous. It'd be better if they had multiple people working on weekends when the shop is at its busiest so customers don't have to wait 30 minutes and the workers don't have to be rushing around stressed. I went here today and one worker had to deal with 2 families of 5 and maybe 4 other people all by herself, she even ran out of cups mid way and had to rush to get more. The kitchen area may be small but there is no way you can't find one other person to help out. I waited 30 minutes and more and more people just kept coming in.

V: I tried multiple times to reach the owner to discuss my concern directly. I called this store and left my number. I called other locations to try to reach him, but got no answer. I tried searching Dragonfly website for a way to contact Doug directly. I found no way so, I'm leaving my concern here:I visited this location on 39th St on Monday 11/7/22. It took 25 minutes for me to receive my 3 drinks. There were only 2 other customers in the store besides myself. Additionally, I had a 5 y/o child with me during this trip who I was trying to keep from taking down/ touching all the various breakable and items that are for sale on the shelves during this long wait.I ordered 3 Bobo Tea drinks. I requested that the tea base be excluded because we are not able to have tea. This store and other locations ALWAYS substitute the tea base with milk or a milk substitute of our choice. We also like this because it it gives a creamy texture. On this particular occasion, the employee working (bald guy with a beard) refused to substitute the tea base with anything other than water and told me that in all reality, he technically wasn't supposed to substitute the tea with water. I even offered to pay more to have him substitute with soy milk or coconut milk. He flat out refused and said that he could not do this and suggested I ordered something else. Is this really a thing!?! I have never had this experience at this location or any other location or at any other tea house that's not owned by Dragonfly!We live an hour away, so coming to Dragonfly is always a special treat for us. So after an hour drive, a 25 minute wait in the store, and $18.70, I walked out with three drinks that were not what we came for. We we're all super disappointed and frustrated.

This place screams health violation. Lastly, this place is overpriced for dirty and nasty drinks. Linh Tran: Update: The owner Giang contacted me via email and offered free replacement drinks for us to try out again. My husband and I gave them a chance and ordered some che and coffee. Che was just as good as before and coffee was fantastic. We had to order more to go. I glad they haven't changed the ingredients and always use fresh fruits for their drinks. The price is also very reasonable considering the fresh ingredients they use. I would like to thank the owner and staff for their hospitality and flexibility. Ana Chavarria: I love this place! I am coming almost every week. I love boba and they have many options of tea, smoothies or latte teas. Also I have been earning free mochi with their rewards program. The atmosphere is calm, relaxing music perfect to chat with friends or to be by yourself. Service is great, friendly and kind. Ana Galvan: Best bubble tea in the area, finally we found our go to spot. This was very good, tapioca was perfect. It is hard to find a bubble tea place that makes good tapioca and they definitely nailed it, it was cooked well and was actually sweet. Will be coming here again ♥️

Grown Up: I got to bambu at 4:25pm and didn’t get me drink until 5:04pm, my drinks were a strawberry smoothie and a winter melon milk tea just for someone who Ordered after me to get their drinks before me. They Ordered meat the counter just like me.

james hueca: I've been a loyal customer, I've gone through 7 loyalty cards. Went to the drive-thru at 10:10 am Sunday 5/21. Large Head Rush, small hot chocolate, and med caramel headrush with almond milk. It took 14 minutes to get to the window (2 cars ahead of me). When I got to the window the young man was obviously under the influence of something. My order was wrong. Long story short it took 3 tries and over 15 minutes to get my order. I got home, and it was still incorrect. I called and asked to speak to the manager because my drinks were wrong and the person on the phone said "So". He wouldn't get the manager and said I had been rude and he wasn't going to deal with "disparaging comments" and I would have to call back and speak to someone else.

Kristan Daily: Love this place!!! The people are amazing, so friendly and helpful. Unlike other places, they have a TON of sugar-free flavors. I got a latte with sugar-free Irish Cream and it was delicious!!! Also got a fresh croissant that was buttery and flakey like it is supposed to be. Yum!The last (and first) time I drove thru at Head Rush, they made a leaf design on the top of my latte that was so pretty! It was the first time I've ever had a fancy design on a latte. The barista made sure to show me before she put the lid on. She made me feel so special!I can't wait to go back. Hannah H: Normally their coffee is pretty good, but the last few times it hasn't been. The first time I ordered an Iced Caramel rush and it is usually my favorite. They took especially long (15 minutes at the window for 1 drink) and then it was messy, they didn't give napkins or say sorry for the wait and it tasted much weaker than usual. This morning I ordered a regular coffee and it was so watered down I can't even drink it. Not sure what's going on with this place, used to be one of the best in the area.

Brittany Strohm: Headrush is a gem! They have great coffee & their potato burrito was super good too. Staff was super friendly as well. Literally sat here for over an hour playing a game of scrabble with the kids. An owner (I think) even bought us some muffins while we played. Such a nice place & one we will frequent.
