Afterword Tavern & Shelves: what do users think?
Alyson Copp: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Madison Cowan: Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Lumo Rowena Mooncaller: Don't wanna be too harsh because i really like the concept. I guess i was just expecting more. The drinks have a lot of alcohol, but i can't really don't that as a positive because they cost so much. I had a latte though and that was pretty good. My biggest complaint is the dismally small curated selection of books. If books are your gimmick, have more than one shelf full of them ya know? I'll probably go back at some point, but i think this concept could be better executed.
Karen Childers: Great selection. Excellent books. Atmosphere wonderful.
Katherine Keljik: Really lovely respite in the city. The Old Fashioned will dramatically improve your night/life.
Guy Civey: First time coming here after dinner. Wish we would have came sooner. The drinks and staff were awesome. Love the atmosphere. Can't wait to come back. It is more of a calm and relaxing place to get a drink and talk, or read a book. I would say more like a coffeehouse vibe, but with a nice cocktail selection.
Lisa Donnally: Come for the curated selection of books, stay for the cocotails!
Todd Bernstein: Great little bar for a nice evening of drinks and fun. I love all the board games they have there. It's fun to sit and have a drink with friends, play games and talk. Plus they have a pretty good selection of books.
Matt Potter: Meatball was excellent. Book selection is limited
Samuel Belete: Great selection of books and drinks
Mind Body Shen: I love the environment and ambience. A great place to hang out. The only negative is a limited peer selection.
Jesus Rodriguez: Does this sign not say 11pm? Got there at 10:30 pm and they did not let me in.
Figo Chin: A cosy neighborhood bar, with lovely interior and wide range of books to explore. One of the best old-fashioned here as well!
Pooja Patel: Great bar for cocktails and conversations. Love their Tuesday night taco & margarita nights. Their patio is great for summer nights as well!
Darkl Dow: This is almost my dream come true, seriously.
Dave Alejos: Cool place just needs to have a place at the bar to order drinks. The time I went it was very busy and no place to get a drink.
Stephen work: We were lucky to find seats. Not a lot of turnover so I did see a couple guests, show up hang out, realize there are no seats and then leave. We bought a book, but I would say this is mostly a cocktail lounge. Very chill and fun.
Greg Donna: Great rotation of specialty drinks in a comfortable setting, can’t complain about that. Not as pretentious as some other local spots
Carter Taylor: Perfect experience for anyone. Want to drink? Sure, good drinks! Wanna stay sober? Amazing mock tails! Need a boost? Delicious coffee. And the book selection is all over the place, so you’ll usually find SOMETHING. Just not really much queer content

Wise Blood Booksellers: what do users think?
Marc Gregory: Stopped in for the record selection. It's a great selection that you can spend all day digging through. Plus they have books which is another great hobby of mine.
Sara Mango: We know what cheating looks like.LongoChris Young.Marislucia Battiglania.Thanks.See you next year.Kill my fetus.- Mark/Gino MAUSA.
Loren T. Walker: Best selection in the city.
SevanM83: a lot of stuff but not very organized
Christine Bofenkamp: Fresh vibe to books. I love shopping more at random than by author. Also, great AC on a melt your face off hot day. 🔥
Andi Kahclamat: A neat shop with antisocial service. I found several books to buy. The clerk forbade us from petting the dog wandering around the shop saying she's grossed out by the idea of all the customer germs on the dog. The dog wanted to be petted and was friendly, and we were scolded for allowing the dog to touch a person when the dog leaned against my friend.
Jordan Swartz: A great book store with a wide selection of new & used books. It was hard to leave with only 2 books. Staff was friendly & helpful. They also have great shirts
Alejandra González: You can spend hours here if you like records. Huge amount of them
Spencer Lewis: I ordered on line
Robert Foreman: Great staff, great books.
Shanee “Lady Savage Red” Martin: Friendly service while attempting to locate books.
Amanda Hunt: Very friendly people!
Vincent Giaconia: Cute little bookstore! Wonderful and respectful staff who are willing to have a conversation! Good selection, not enough Stephen King, but there never is...Relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere and a great little spot to spend an afternoon!
Alex Marban: Love place.
Brandy Coleman: This is a unique bookstore. It's like a sanctuary for me!
BurnettDriskill Attorneys: Wiseblood is an excellent resource and a treasure.
Cindy E: Great indie bookstore with nice selection of new and used books. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Muriel Fogarty: Really lovely spot! So friendly, has a really inviting environment, and lots of great books in an organized, easy-to-browse layout.
Peter Mishler: Beautiful store, kind people, welcoming atmosphere--found a title I didn't know I wanted until I saw it, and I was really pleased to see it there. Thank you--
Dan J. Murtaugh: I stumbled upon Wise Blood Booksellers by accident while on my way to the Wesport Post Office. Any bookstore acts as a virtual magnet for me, a place where I can spend hours browsing and discovering new reads. I was really astonished by the selection of books--used and new--offered at Wise Blood, and ably curated by Dylan. As I don't often get to discuss books, I'm afraid I bent Dylan's ear completely out of shape, but he was quite patient, had a lot to offer in the way of recommendations, was extremely well-read, and was very open to suggestions for enhancing an already very fine assortment of books. The store is comfortable and easily navigable. There were a few interesting surprises, such as LPs residing among books, and tiny book-cover match boxes at the checkout counter which added to the uniqueness of my experience. This is one of the best bookstores I've visited in quite awhile, and suggest that any book lover, reader, or even vaguely-interested shopper who enters this store will be amply rewarded.
Micah Sievenpiper: Surprisingly good selection for such a small footprint, and the staff is more than willing to help you find what you're looking for, even if it's not in stock. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a great local bookstore.

Back in Time Comics and Toys: what do users think?
Travis cearley: I had a good experience. Everything was very nice and I really enjo myself. It might be that I won 1000 bucks in 10 minutes, but I'd recommend this place.
Teresa Payne: To packed together, hard to see everything!
JC Gray: Love Back in Time! The nostalgia factor is on 11 when you walk in the door. You can find just about anything from Hot Wheels to Star Wars and everything in between. Great selection of comics as well.
Chad Barry: Excellent store with a variety of vintage and current collectibles. Highly recommended!
andy robinson: Sean and Lisa are awesome! They have the best vintage toys and comics for anyone to enjoy. I could just spend hours and hours looking through all their inventory. When I'm in town this is a MUST STOP!!! This isn't just your normal toy/comic store....it is clean and easy to look around (most stores like this are cluttered and dirty) and they can point you to exactly what you came in for. I can't wait until I'm back in KC to see what new items. they have. I would suggest their Facebook, they post all new items when they receive them.
Paul Vang: Great selection of retro figures but be ready to spend some money.
Amy Backes: Such a fun store! Sean and Lisa are fantastic and have helped me find the perfect gift on several occasions. This was also my go-to spot for comics as I worked on collecting early Dr. Strange. Great shop, you should definitely check it out!
d3tach4blejesus: Been here a few times and these people are great on their prices and selection of toys and comics. Was looking for a certain gijoe figure 2 years ago and they luckily had one in stock. Owner was super helpful and held it back for me. Great people and will continue to do business with them any chance I get
Adam Cromer: Back In Time is just the best toy vendor I’ve ever dealt with. When I decided to refocus my collection and free up space I knew Sean was the man to contact. He was polite, professional and incredibly transparent with his purchase pricing. If you’re looking for somebody who will respect you, your time and your collection then look no further! It’s so hard to find reputable and honest people to do business with, so I make sure to advocate for the ones that meet the criteria- BiT def meets it and then some ☺️
Charles Morris: Always nice and friendly
Rando Keo: The store is full of fun stuff and nostalgic toys. It's jammed packed with comics and toys. The staff was super friendly. Go check it out!
jorge RODRIGUEZ: Great place and people....reasonable prices....I never leave empty handed from there....lol
Jimmy Rowland: This Shop is AWESOME! This place totally rocks if you need something vintage, Comics, and other great toys. Staff are amazing!
Jason Porter: Great comic store in Liberty. Check them out at Comic-Con!
Adrian H: Great friendly environment and tons of great collectables for any fan base!
Justin Simpson: Great little store serving all your vintage toy and comic book needs. Friendly staff!
Anthony Roach: Great place for all your comic book and vintage type toy needs.
Marco Jimenez: One of my favorite Retro toy shops to spend too much money at and not regret it! Eclectic variety of toys of all decades. I love this store!
Daniel Dunwoodie: Back in Time is a great place to escape. To get back a piece of your childhood. The feeling of nostalgia is awesome, just like the selection. They have a little of anything you might be looking for.
Andrew Baltes: Purchased a Teddy Ruxbin at a very fair price. I had always wanted one. Great selection of vintage toys. Very reasonable prices. Knowledgeable staff. My absolute favorite is the wide selection of Masters of the Universe figures. Will definitely be coming back soon.
Courtney Gilbert: Are you a child from the 70s, 80s, early 90s? They will take you on a walk down memory lane. A must stop for collectors or to recovery that favorite toy from your childhood!

L: An absolutely adorable bookstore. I've gone multiple times and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have a wide selection of books, I definitely recommend going.
Max Taylor: Awesome book shop with a vintage flair. Owner is super friendly. Wife traded a whole bunch of her already read books and picked up some new ones. Nice to see places like this still exist.
ana rivera: Super cool place to visit. 3 floors full of all kind of books, I love the basement floor, they have solace for you to sit and enjoy a book. Cool decorations that accent the place. Third floor have has a nice view. And also has a psychics that reads your hand if you are into those things. Overall super cool place.
Justin Stawarz: This is the best book store there is. Three stories of floor to ceiling books. You never know what you'll find and it changes every day. They give great rates on trade ins and the owners are very knowledgeable and friendly. They're a KC institution, heavily invested in their community. You're not likely to find book sellers like this anywhere else.
Ana O.: Amazing 3-story boom store! I was overwhelmed with so many books! I loved all the messages written and the creaks made from ppl walking on the main floor. Good priced books.
David Goode: It's a fun book shop experience.
Kelsey DeHart: Wonderful store and very cool to look through but the children’s section left much to be desired.
Daniel Langston (DaOneEyedBear): Really cheap prices, they sell & trade, also have $1 paperbacks outside the place, not bad. Good place to come and chill/read as well. Three floors of used books, comics, CDS, and movies!

Mitch Ayers: 39th street staple.
Corrigan Drews: Amazing spot to wander and find a Book or sit and read. Go and explore.
Halev Idiomas: Lovely little bookstore. Found lots of interesting and out of print books. Ended up spending about 60 bucks and walked out with five books and a 9 dollar VHS. Pricing on the VHS was a bit extreme, but all in all a great visit.Downstairs was fantastic; I'll be back the next time I'm in the area to spend more!
Dovie Penn: My favorite book store.

Rainy Day Books: what do users think?
Paige Crosswhite: Best SCI FI recs!!
Gale Burrus: Wonderful selections and very helpful staff.
Cole Ehmke: Helpful staff. A nice local bookstore.
Bryce Baker: Cute book store.
kyndra Light: Amazing atmosphere, very friendly and knowledgeable staff! I will definitely be back! I also love that they have a way to buy/read books online and still support their shop, same with audiobooks.. which is a really cool way to support local! I snagged a book and they encouraged me to check out the local coffee shop as well which I just love seeing businesses support other businesses!
Wil Q: The book stoer had super kind staff, that was always looking to know their customers by name. The staff were very insightful on new book releases and upcoming info on new book series. Definetly a great local small business to support.
Brandy Crabill: We stumbled on this while headed to lunch while passing through and I am so happy we stopped. Every staff member was kind and each had great recommendations.
Kathryn Adams: Wonderful, friendly service and a great book selection!
Ethan Dunn: Online ordering is great! I feel good shopping here knowing I’m supporting local.
vicky werner: Cute book shop. Shop local!
Bill Kerns: The store has an outstanding variety of books to select. I can never go in there quickly to decide on what book to purchase. Also, they have a very kind and helpful staff.
Savannah Greenwood: This is the kind of bookstore you want to spend your Saturday afternoons in. There are lots of great books to check out from diverse genres.
Elizabeth Hopkins: Thank you for creating a customer experience that is exceptional. I called today to see if a book was in stock; a friendly voice answered and they had the book (which isn't always on the shelves in.... Midwestern.... bookstores - this is not a Jerry B Jenkins/Tim LaHaye-type place, thank goodness)! Super helpful and kindness to boot. We're so lucky to have this bookstore in our area!
Nancy Kollhoff: Great local bookstore with very helpful staff
Sandy Briggs: Great staff! Great books! Great fun!
Sarah LeGear: Great customer service and wonderful place to shop.
Ruth J. Heflin: A cozy, inviting space with attentive clerks. A great place to buy books.
Marianne Kaminski: I decided to stop in Rainy Day Books one day after driving by on my way home from work almost everyday. Upon entering I was greeted by a friendly employee asking if I needed help finding anything to which I declined, as I was just browsing. Five minutes later I was asked by a different employee if I needed help looking for anything. I declined yet again. Another ten minutes goes by when I am approached for a third time. I really doubt customers enjoy being harped on to this extent. If I decline help twice, then I don’t need to be asked a third time.Despite all the unnecessary inquiries, I had gathered a stack of potential reads when I was approached by a woman claiming to be the store manager asked if I was finding everything okay. I later heard this “store manager” speaking harshly to one of the employees. It was uncomfortable and embarrassing to witness. I decided this wasn’t a business worth giving my money to and left without buying anything.I am leaving two stars because the employees who did greet me were very kind and professional unlike their higher-up.
Calista Martin: I need to quit my job so I can read more. Every book looks good.
Chad Mestel: My local indie bookstore and they're great. We've ordered many books from them and never had any problems.
Taryn Parker: I went to Rainy Day Books for the first time, and I can’t recommend it enough. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and recommended so many good books to me, I couldn’t choose which book to pick up first. I’m excited to have found a local independent bookstore to call my own!

N H: My friends and I were in KC for the weekend and wanted to find a small, cute bookstore to visit. To say we loved this bookstore is an understatement.
