Scott Robison: Wow...a friend, who I'll leave nameless, wink wink, asked me to meet her there and have a drink. So I say hell to the yes and I get there and walk in. There she was at the bar, waiting, willing... and wooking wike she was weady to woo woo!So I set down next to her and I order a drink...for me...I learned a long time ago to never buy another man's wife a drink. She says aren't you going to order a drink for me. I says you're husband would probably not be pleased about that. She says don't you think he'll be even more upset if you boink me? I says I have no intention of boinking you. She says well why did you meet me here? I says, because you asked me if I would like to meet you at the tool shed and play around. I told you I would love to! Then I says to the bartender chick, hey bartender chick, we want to play a round. She says great! And brings us both a juke box bingo card and my friend, who I will leave nameless, and I, had a great time playing juke box bingo the rest of the evening!She screamed out bingo so many times that night you'd have thought she was having one of those big O thingies women are known to have. Yeah I've read about'em, never seen one... as for our night at the Tool Shed?Yeah baby... good times!

Jenny Schwartz: Since I am from out of town, I really wasn't sure what to expect. I went in with high hopes, and I was not disappointed. This is a great hole in the wall bar! Bartenders are amazing, friendly,and fun to chat with! There are a few games, and the drinks are really reasonably priced. There is a cash only policy for payment, and only street parking is available. I definitely recommend stopping at Fat Maxx's Vortex for a spell.

Lisa Gelburt: Visiting from out of town, and this place was on our short list of must do’s. Exceeded our expectation! The bartender was SO NICE, the vibe is amazing and quirky, cool and a little spooky, which I love, and was part of the draw to visit. There aren’t many beers to choose from, it’s mostly a cocktail place, but can’t go wrong with a High Life, and I don’t know if it was a special but it was only $3!!! Pool is only .75 a game!!! Loved it here. Bummed to not get to meet, what I read is a legendary woman, the owner, but hope she reads this, and knows how much we enjoyed her place, and the energy there. Heads up *CASH ONLY* but an ATM on site.

Localfocal KC: This place is not open!!!!! Google maps is unwilling to change the status even though I've sent them photos I've been to this location three times. They have been closed every time.
Nathaniel Golden: It was closed. I paid $20 to see a slapfight and the bar was closed. I lost the money for 2 tickets. Not a positive experience.

Not insanely loud, and more importantly, someone is paying attention to the mix, you can hear all the people in the band most of the time. Seems like a low bar, right? Most venues in town can't hit it. I've been dozens of times, and it is very consistent.This lack of 5 stars is the food. Now, I don't expect gourmet, but....They changed the menu recently, very reduced number of items. I get it, it was big before, and I'm sure it was a hassle. But here was the difference: Each time in the past, what I ordered was hot, recently prepared. This time, we had some chicken that was done suspiciously fast... and after trying it, it was obvious it had probably been done hours before and under a heat lamp. Way over cooked, dried out, and tough to eat! It came with fries that on a cripsiness scale of 1-10, barely managed to make a 2.Hope the owners read this. I'd like to see this place remain one of the best places to go to hear some live music, and at least get something decently prepared, even if there are only a few choices.

Shelley West: I love this venue… But tonight we went to see the Van Halen tribute band. This band chose to play their own music (without explanation) for 30 minutes (many of us thought we were at the wrong show), and then they took a 40 minute break. Van Halen has 5 platinum albums and they played several songs that didn’t even make it to the charts. With that being said The Guitarists were Amazing, but will not pay to see this show again!

Marc Gregory: Went there on 10/7/22 to see MacSabbath. First time there and it was a very interesting place. I love how they support live music of all types. They layout was different than most places and the addition of theater seats on the left side of the room was a new one! The place operated like a well oiled machine. I'd definitely go here again.

Kevroc: It's a nice venue for colder weather. I like this Room but I do not like the general admission area is way too small. Way too many tables too expensive for a table. People just wanna go up front. I would recommend they have great artists here.
Steven Willis: Went 3/21 mask wearing BS still going on. You cant dance even wearing a mask unless its @ your own table. So only people getting to dance are like 5 tables down front placed on dance floor. So sick & tired of the mask BS. So I wont be back till masks are no longer priority

No food at this venue, but allowed to bring in food from other places within the Power & Light district. Very good after-party location to continue an evening after a T-Mobile Center (formerly Sprint Center) event. Very close to the free trolley stop as well.

Jon Twibell: Don't let the dive bar vibe fool you about the food, it is top notch. Fun atmosphere if you like a classier dive bar. Fun options like a beer slot machine (random beer for cheap). Servers have always been really great here. Another go to for me.Side note, if you are gluten free don't come hungry. You will probably leave hungry too.
