Since Pina took it over my orders have always had issues from being given the wrong thing because they weren't paying attention to being told after ordering they were out of something but they don't update the system ever. And then to be hung up on after telling them to just refund what it was they didn't have to being dismissed after calling back and addressing being hung up on. Lesson learned. I wanted to give it a 2nd shot since they're so close but forget it. I'll drive to Bubbles or RedX instead. Not worth the effort to deal with Pina since they honestly don't care and make up bogus excuses in hopes you'll take something completely different than what you ordered just because it's the same brand! What a joke!

Rick P: So I was in this store the other day to get some refreshments for a party I was having. I had and associate by the name of Carrie help me out. She was the friendliest employee there. She was helpful knew her refreshments. I was able to describe what I was looking for and she knew what I was talking about. Will definitely go back here from now on. Only wish to work with Carrie. If you go in this store ask for help from her she will help you with whatever you need help with. A+

Maria Salpistidis: I have visited this store a handful of times in the past. My experience has always been great until today. I went in to buy something specific which I found quite quickly and then decided to browse for some good bourbon. After a few minutes one of the employees came up behind me and asked in a weird snarky way if she could help me find something. I told her that I was looking for bourbon but wasn't sure which one I wanted. She told me the isles that had it and then proceeded to tell me that the don't allow backpacks in the store. Excuse me? I told her this was my purse (very small designer backpack) and I have used it as my daily purse for over a year!!! Mind you this "backpack" is less than half the size of a regular school bag. It took me a second to realize that I was being racially profiled. I have never felt so humiliated. I actually told her she can search me when I got to the register. This is wrong on so many levels. If you have a policy like that make sure you enforce it on everyone (two other woman walked in the store with their HUGE purses and nothing was said) Also have a huge sign at the door stating that like you do for age limit and not a ripped up piece of 8x10 paper that is half hanging outside as I noticed when I left because I specifically looked for it. Honestly it's not the policy it was the accusatory tone in her voice. A super nice gentleman named Bill helped ring me up and decide between a couple of bourbons. I opened my "backpack" wide open so he can see that I wasn't hiding anything, paid for my multiple bourbons and walked out. Walking to my car I still felt uneasy but mostly upset at myself for not calling the woman out. I guess the shock of being racially profiled hadn't worn off. I sat in my car for a few minutes and after going back in forth in my head on what to do I went back in and asked sweet Bill who the lady was. He said Carrie. So here we are. I am writing this review so hopefully Carrie can get educated on how to approach customers that don't fit her "All American" mold. If you have a "bag" rule make a big plastic sign that is visible to all as you do for legal age limit to purchase. That way there is no confusion on what the expectations are for people entering your store. Will I be back? Not anytime soon.

The staff is one of the most approachable and knowledgeable I've met in a liquor store. Prices are almost always competitive if not the outright lowest in the area.

Their staff is lazy, and when I expressed concern that the price for a box of canned beers didn’t match what I saw in the fridge, I was blown off and given a lazy and dismissive excuse for it. When I went to check the price again, the white male with missing teeth helping me said “someone get me a translator”. As an Asian American that was offensive to hear. Hire smarter staff and maybe I’ll come back to this store.

Ian Martin: I found this place by going to an importers site(Storicawines) and seeing this place listed. I was looking for Armenian wines and this place does sell a white wine from that country. I talked to the buyer for this store for a minute and she told me that it has a olive taste to it which sounds interesting to me. I had also previously tried the red wine from Zulal made using Areni grapes and really liked it as well so another reason I bought the white. The employees working were all nice and I had a good checkout experience. These wines are still unknown to many people at this time so it's still a niche wine but so worthy of consideration. I was checking out the importers site and I saw that they have many Armenian sparkling wines which would be really interesting to try out in the future.

Go to other nearby liquor stores

Shelby Meyer: Please hire this company for your wedding/event drink needs! I was a little over zealous with my planning (kept changing my mind, asked a lot of questions, etc), and this company was amazing catering to my questions and needs. Kelsey was kind and understanding. They have all of the options you could want AND they offer delivery to your venue.

Evan Werts: I have had a really rough day; Eric and James on the Sunday night shift just made it way better. We chatted about the new Oktoberfest beers they had in; both of them clearly have plenty of product knowledge. I told them that I needed to take an Uber and was going to wait in front of the office buildings close by, but they invited me to wait on the very cute back patio area behind the store. It is very obvious to me that their boss Alexis has hired intelligently, and trained well. Highly recommend!

Not easy to get in and out of with the construction next door to build a building that's taken well over a year to construct and still going. Not sure why it takes so long to build here in KC (maybe the unions?). Regardless, this place is still here with good drinks and good service.
