John F: I went to this Chuck E. Cheese with a group of kids for a special event. The place was very crowded and noisy, and it was hard to keep an eye on them. The arcade games were fun and varied, but some of them were broken or out of order. The kids enjoyed the interactive show with Chuck E. Cheese and his friends, and they got some free goodies as well. The pizza was disappointing, though. It was low quality and bland, and the crust was soggy. The salad bar was not very fresh either. The service was friendly but slow, and we had to wait a long time for our food and drinks. Chuck E. Cheese has a lot of entertainment for kids, but the food and environment are not very appealing.

Brad Warren: I didn’t eat, but the food that I saw looked good and several people told me it was very good. I only had cocktails. It was a beautiful day in KC, so they had the windows open. Really nice views and great for people watching. The bartender, Gabby, was on top of her game. I never had an empty glass and she was kind enough to brew me fresh coffee at 3 pm with an almost empty restaurant. The location is great and I will definitely visit again.

Chris Morris: Never been the kind of person to put down anyone’s establishment, but todays experience for me was horrific! Today my family and I walked in for lunch and we were seated by a polite host, once we were seated we were given our menus to look over. We sat there waiting for some kind of assistance, or even someone to offer us a glass of water. But to my surprise no one showed up, literally about 5 mins later a bigger party was seated right across from us. As we sat there for 10 mins, no service, no water, the waiter proceeds to take the order of the bigger party as if we haven’t been sitting there before them. Within that time frame about 3-4 waiters walked by and still no assistance, by this point I decided to get up and go back to the front desk host and asked why we haven’t been served and why the bigger party is getting serviced before us even though we were there first. He walked over to get a waiter to come over to assist, by that point the damage was done. It’s not the part that we had to wait, it was the simple fact every single customer in the establishment was white and we were the only 3 black people in the restaurant. We felt disrespected and discriminated against, because the party that was sat right after us were all white. This was a horrible experience for myself and my family, will NEVER go back to this establishment, especially where black people get ignored even though our money green like the rest!

That's ultimately the problem, I've been here 6-7 times at least and every single time it's different - sometimes everything is fast, sometimes there's no service. Sometimes the food is flavorful and fresh, otherimes it's phoned in (or some of ours is good and some bad).It's not the worst option but it's hard to recommend a restaurant when you can't expect consistent results. I haven't tried their other location so maybe it's just a problem here?

Stephanie Sumulong: We've gone here to bowl twice and the lanes are jacked up and curve in terrible ways. The pinsetters don't work properly and knock down extra pins and take away your chance to finish your turn. The games in the arcade are either broken or cheat you out of your credits---you swipe to play and the machine never turns on. We will never come back and waste our money.

Micheal Sifford: Honestly I would have rated it better because overall everything was awesome and really fun and most of the employees were cool and really nice. I honestly had a blast and spent a few hours there doing various things. Honestly arcades and bowling alleys are like my favorite places there’s nothing better then the nostalgia of these retro kinds of things. The reason why I’m taking it down two stars is because of the attitudes of two of the guys that were in charge of the prize station and laser tag. One of them had the worst attitude I’ve ever seen in a customer service employee ever any time you’d ask him anything he’d cop an attitude. One of the games was broken and it took my credits so I asked him for help and he came swiped my card again so I lost more credits and he was like oh well you don’t have enough credits I can’t do anything about it gave me my card back and walked away. I went and checked my card at the machine and it said I still had over 100 credits so that clearly wasn’t the issue. Then when I traded in my prize points I grabbed exactly what I had credits for and he said I didn’t have enough when I know for sure I did. I had to call a manager to help. He was overly rude for no reason and it really ruined my experience a little. The other dude with him wasn’t much better but at least he was trying to help. I asked him to look for something in the back and he literally just said I can’t we don’t have it anyway instead of actually trying. I left so mad I was shaking because of my stress and anxiety. Honestly I would recommend this place just be careful and watch out for people’s attitudes and not wanting to do their jobs

Robert Walding: Arcade was great hit the jackpot on multiple games! Staff were really friendly and helpful. There was a three hour unlimited pass for mini golf and go karts, and for some reason you could only buy it at certain times. Otherwise they have been getting more up to date

Carrie Porter: It was honestly super lame. MostOf the game machines ate your coins or didn’t give you your tickets. Or didn’t work.The mini golf was poorly maintained. The only ok thing was the go karts. Overall I do regret spending my money here. It just sucks and total waste. But the employees are super cool! Just won’t be returning

Liah Bruckner: I brought my son here today 5/5/2023. It was at 5:30 and they were not busy at all. There was one helpful older gentleman who told me to get tokens from the machine and not the counter because you don’t have to pay tax. Other than that every young person working here was rude and not helpful. They were all standing in a circle talking, not wanting to be interrupted. When I went to the counter originally for tokens the young woman working argued with a young guy on who would help me. They were two feet in front of me arguing about helping me. It was awkward. I finally said “can anyone just get me some tokens.” That’s when the older gentleman told me about the machine. We used the terminator shooting game and only one side worked, the other took my coins. Several of the machines took the tokens but wouldn’t play. With the rude teenagers working there it was pointless to ask for our tokens back. We then went to get food from their snack shack.. the two people working said order from up there and pointed to the front desk and walked away from us.. so we didn’t even bother. We wanted to play mini golf, but couldn’t get anyone to help us get golf clubs. Overall the workers really ruined the experience for us. We won’t be back. Super disappointed because this was a staple of both mine and my partners childhood that we had hoped to share with our son. Hoping they see this review and make the necessary changes in employment to make this place thrive again.

Krista Donovan: I highly suggest buying your tickets from Groupon. If you try to buy them off cool crest's website and head in shortly after the staff will tell you it takes 24 hours for it to register in their system. This was very inconvenient. They had to issue a refund (which can take 5-7 days) and buy then purchase the tickets from them in person at the desk for a higher price. Other than that, the go-karts were really fun! Mini golf could use some nice decor or something to liven it up. Arcade was a little on the run down side. Some of them were out of order and/or displayed low tickets signs. My kids enjoyed it though so that made it worth it.
