The Roasterie Factory Cafe: what do users think?
Ben Williams: I took the roastery tour today, and it was both enjoyable and incredibly informative. Nick was knowledgeable about the entire coffee process, and was great with the crowd. I would highly recommend taking the tour!
Ty: Cool, unique place to visit! Great atmosphere and customer service! Coffee was fantastic and they have excellent pastries as well!
Kiela Mills: We were traveling through and saw the airplane from the highway so we ventured back that following morning. Omg the coffee is smooth and flavorful. The building and factory is neat to explore too. Would return if lived there. Definitely check it out.
Greg Bem: A very unique spot with some great decor. Loved the flight theme. If there's any room for improvement, I'd say a better way to manage the crowds at the espresso bar would go a long way.
Heavy-P: Friendly staff. Great tour.
Luke Vaughn: Everyone on staff is really pleasant, thanks for taking care of me!
Christián Henry PhD: Good coffee.
Donnie Carr: Very friendly, awesome atmosphere.
judy Gregory: Love this factory. I’m addicted to the coffee!
Paul Jones: Fun to visit and watch how they prepare and roast all of the different coffees
Dave Willingham: Enjoyed our tour on a Saturday with a great, energetic guide who explained all of the samples and took you on the nice, little joureny of the Roasterie. Probably even better during the week when they are roasting the coffee during the day, but we enjoyed all of the sample options with some foundational information to enjoy coffee even more. Nice cafe for a before or after treat and coffee.
Becky Acheson: Awesome experience doing the tour. Coffee was great. They have merch and a small amount t of lunch options. They make their own nitro cans.
Jamie Wiley: Great place to plug in and work, food options while you're there and coffee is super delicious.
David McBee: The tour was “fine.” Kinda underwhelming.
Richard Dickison: 27th near Southwest BlvdLocal Cool Coffee ShopThis is THE Kansas City coffee shop. The Kansas City Blend is legendary. Worth a visit and even a quick tour to taste the goods. A must see.
Brett Janssen: The tour is great and there are plenty samples included, which were great as well. The staff seemed to enjoy it there as well, which is a good sign!
Brittany Miller: We had the pleasure of taking a tour this morning and had the best tour guide, Boston. He was so knowledgeable and you could really tell he had a passion for coffee. We learned so much and really enjoyed the tastings. We took the same tour about 5 or 6 years ago, and enjoyed it enough to come back a second time and I’m so glad we did. Thank you, Boston!
Sara Jane Koch: Horrible. They shoved their personal beliefs down my throat when I was just trying to get a cup of coffee.
Alexandria DeSpain: Stopped in from Oklahoma City for work and had the pleasure of speaking with Anna, the manager at this location. Truly one of the kindest people I’ve met, with some of the best coffee out there. A few of the many reasons I’ll be back to this spot again!
James Baber: I used to have a 5 star rating for The Roasterie. I'm in Denver and so have relied on shipments; I've been a customer for almost 8 years.Post-Covid The Roasterie has SIGNIFICANTLY raised shipping prices and don't seem to give one flipping care about subscribers anymore. $14 shipping to a neighboring state for a 2 lb bag? HAHAHAHA!!! The Roasterie has clearly decided to profit on shipping costs when everyone knows it doesn't cost $14 to ship a 2 lb package. Shame on you.
Jordan Cole: An exceptional tour. Our tour guide was fun, and created a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. His knowledge of the company, the coffee and the roasting process was educational and entertaining. While the tour was an hour and a half, the time flew right by, as they kept us well caffeinated. Ease into the day of your coffee drinking. The start of the tour is just a small sample, and then the end of the tour feels like a dash to the finish line; falling just short of an over caffeinated heart attack. The tour was started with a light roast and concluded with a comparison two coffees from Brazil. But wait, there was more… just when we thought the tour was over we were introduced to the Cold Brew section. Which was pitched as a sampling of 5 different types… but why did I have and taste what I thought was 7 different flavors? Well, as only what I’d call a social coffee drinker, I was well on my way to solving the worlds problems with all of the energy I had while exiting their doors. Needless to say, I was impressed by the quality, the tour, and most of all our tour guide. Toured at 10AM on Saturday Jan 14, 2023, and I was so hyped I missed our guides name. But simply tipping him wasn’t even and he deserves further praise. Here’s a shout out to him.

Carole O: Love this place -I've been coming here for years! It's definitely a Kansas City classic with outstanding craftsmanship and lovely seasonal flavor combinations. The plants and sunlight are also a vibe 👌
R Cusick: Really neat little place! It was quite busy and I struggled to hear my dining companions, but I think that's just the case with me in crowded restaurants. Had a delicious iced green tea and a bowl with yogurt, granola, blackberries, and lime. So tasty! I had grazed at breakfast despite knowing better and wasn't hungry enough to finish my brunch, which made me so sad! Hope I can come back and order one another time.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options!
Antonio Rodriguez: The only negative thing I’d say is that they advertise “$3.00 8oz Drip Coffee” on their menu, but sometimes they ONLY have “Premium Blends” so it ends up being $4.50 for an 8oz Drip Coffee. Please offer both options… a $3.00 8oz as advertised on the menu and a $4.50 premium blend as an option. It’s not a deal-breaker, it’s just confusing how you advertise one thing but charge for something else w/o an option to opt-out.

Kim: Great coffee, also really like the matcha lattes here. It’s mixed/blended well with no chunks. Just smooth! If you dine in, they give you a number to bring you your food. The drinks are picked up at the counter though so don’t leave without them!Cute interior with a lot of open space and huge windows to bring in natural light. Can get a little noisy since it is a social setting with music playing in the background but I’ve brought my laptop here to work a handful of times and never had an issue.
Grant Barkman: Great coffee shop.
Ken V: and a breakfast sandwich ($11.25

It has an eclectically-edgy vibe, & the music is perfect for working on creative projects.Originally, I wrote:Because it's one of my neighborhood's coffee joints, I really want to see it prosper, BUT the barista's hands and fingernails were so how-did-she-ever-survive-COVID dirty, that I hope this review sparks some ❤️ to ❤️ conversations over there about hygiene.Blip responded immediately with a perfectly reasonable explanation: It was stain from an art project. My concerns about hygiene NO LONGER EXIST. Rick: Atmosphere is gone from this place. Food selection is mediocre at best (if you like cookies). Playing "music" containing cursing and foul language. Service is poor because of the attitude of the workers. Coffee is only fair. This place needs to close. Also, the "BLM" sign taped in the window is a complete turnoff! Good riddance!

achoops3: Someone needs to tell this coffee shop that it isn’t 2020 anymore. It’s ok to smile at people, welcome them to the shop, say nice things like enjoy your drink. Let’s enjoy life a bit guys.
Tayler: First time here, super awesome!
Karyn Vilbig: It's like cocktails with coffee instead of alcohol. So fun and so good
Douglas Edgar: Got a coffee and a breakfast roll thing this morning for under $10 bucks. Was in and out in 5 minutes.
Emmy L: The morning bun made me happier than my ex ever did also A+ cold brew ❤️
Matthias Carter: Quiet little coffeeshop with really unique drinks. Definitely come back again to try them all! Their pastries and other snacks are all well made and are super tasty! If you're in the area this is a must see.
Abe Hogan: 2 stars for solid drip, but really cold, far-left vibes. I live in SF and never feel judged for choosing to wear or not wear a mask in the middle of summer, but this shop has that judgemental vibe. Very cold and stanfoffish and not what a lot of us consumers are looking for in a genuine coffee shop. Cheers mate
Paul Marshall: Great coffee shop, has a fresh and modern feel to it and the prices are fantastic compared to the bigger chains. We got the caramel Iced latte, cappuccino and double chocolate brownie, very impressed. Would definitely recommend .
Ann C: Such a cute place! And the pastries are delicious. Definitely work friendly, though it's a bit too loud to be making calls too often.
Kelly Larson: Got the orange creamsicle latte, it was great and unique
2424 music: The shot of espresso I got was amazing

Jenna Manzelli: My partner and I have been visiting all of the coffee shops near us, and I was so delighted to find this place was just a short drive. After seeing the decor and menu,I was so excited to visit.Unfortunately, my expectations weren't exactly met.As I haven't been there before, I asked for recommendations and the barista wasn't much help with the menu, which is kind of complicated. I ended up getting a standard iced latte with flavor. It was just okay. The main problem I had was the comfort and cleanliness of this shop. My partner and I were being swarmed with flies and the shop was so hot we couldn't stay and work like we planned. The bathroom was also pretty gross and everything just seemed sticky.I'm sad to say this because I was SO excited to visit and loved the decor and theme, it just seems like the basics- friendly service, clean bathroom, having working AC- weren't there.
Amanda Owings: Amazing coffee in a beautiful location, what more could you ask for?!
brian dostal: Some of the best chai in the metro

RDM: I've heard a lot of good things about this coffeehouse, so I finally stopped by since I was in the area. The coffee was decent, but it wasn't exactly the best coffee I've had. It was kind of average. (BTW, I always drink my coffee black, so my opinion is not based on coffee distorted by cream and sugar.) I did love the atmosphere of the place and '90s music they were playing on the day I visited. I would stop by again the next time I'm in the area.
Landon Hopkins: I hate to share a disappointing experience however the coffee was more like 9th best. The service was great, the atmosphere was kickass, the wait time was zilch. No complaints anywhere except for the drink itself. I got myself and the misses both large mochas with oat milk. I got them to go and didn’t realize how they tasted until I was in the car, so that was unfortunate also. I remember them having great coffee so I will try again, probably won’t get anything with oat milk in it though. The drink tasted like chocolate grass ish. So I’m blaming the oat milk.
Yozelyn Jimenez: good coffee. good flavor. nice barista.
Lynelle NH: This place is perfect for remote workers - plenty of seating and tons of outlets. The rap music was a contrast to the usual melodic cafe tunes but proved easy enough to tune out for concentration. The vegan burrito doesn’t stand tall without the sauce but their craft coffee beverages are 1000% the draw here. I had the macaan which was unique from any other coffee place in KC.
Peter Wylcrow: Be careful if you have food allergies, they will begrudgingly do it but treat you like garbage. Not a friendly place to go! Never had someone slam a coffee in front of me and be so rude in my life! Second rate experience!
Richard Dickison: West 85th near Wornall RoadLocal Cool Coffee ShopGreat coffee and decent food. Local in the know morning after coffee spot. When you are knocking boots on this side of town.
Local Barista: Second Best Coffee is a adorable cafe with lots of seating and great music taste! They have unique flavors and seasonal drinks. I tried the Blackberry Juniper latte with oatmilk and the Twist of Thyme fizzy matcha drink. The latte was fantastic and the fizzy drink was very interesting, I sweetened it to my liking but it is a very earthy. My friend really enjoyed her nitro cold brew! The baristas were nice and delivered a drinks quickly. I believe they roast in house and make their syrups as well!
Ray Chen: Bad service
Kurt Hoffman: This place is called second best, but it is terrific. Definitely one of the top 5 coffee shops in the KC metro.
William Shirk: Coffee is pretty good. The guy with the mullet is a jerk and always acts inconvenienced and rushes you.
Lexi Porter: Today was my first time visiting this coffee shop. I asked a few questions about their menu items before ordering (since I am not familiar with it) and the cashier seemed irritated and annoyed. After receiving my vanilla latte which had no coffee in it, but was $7.24 I went up to the counter to see if they could add a little more coffee to it because my latte was literally white (no brown whatsoever). Again, the cashier had a really bad attitude for no reason. I was even polite after receiving my coffee for the 2nd time. When I thanked her co-worker for fixing the coffee, she straight ignored me and walked off with an attitude. This place seems to have predominantly white customers and white staff. I am a mixed race woman who is predominately black... Maybe they have something against black people. I don't know, but I would never go here again if their coffee was the last liquid to drink on earth.. I would rather die of dehydration. Avoid this place if you can. There are wayyy better coffee shops out there with real coffee drinks and better service.
zech rowe-hayden: We always enjoy our time when we drop by Second Best. Coffee and food are top notch 👌 nice atmosphere for hanging out / being on your computer as wellParking: Free lot for customers for the stores hereWheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking and accessible sidewalks

The Roasterie Brookside Café: what do users think?
The Boss Babe: My experience at Brookside's The Roasterie Coffee Company was simply delightful. Their iced coffee was a true treat, bursting with flavor and offering a refreshing pick-me-up on a warm day. The availability of nitro coffee added an extra layer of smoothness and richness to the beverage selection. What made the experience even more special was the inclusion of locally made desserts and pastries, perfectly complementing the coffee offerings. The Roasterie's commitment to being a local KC roaster was evident in the quality and craftsmanship of their products. From start to finish, this coffee shop provided a delicious and satisfying experience for coffee lovers, and I would highly recommend paying them a visit to savor their exceptional brews and delightful treats.Wheelchair accessibility: The parking and accessibility was easy to navigate.Dietary restrictions: They offer different types of milk. There are vegetarian options on their breakfast food. I do not see any gluten-free items, but they may offer those from time to time.

Travis Jackson: TL;DR: Good tasting coffee, plenty of space, and a good atmosphere to socialize or get work done while enjoying some coffee or pastries.I visited on a Saturday at noon and the store was pretty busy, but likely busier because it was a rainy day. Regardless, there was still plenty of space inside. Electrical outlets line the outer walls of the shop and tables in the center also have plug-ins, making it a great place to work. The shop is fairly noisy (audible music, sounds of the workers making coffee, people chatting), but I prefer a louder and livelier coffee shop, so I enjoyed it.I had the "Crunched for Time," a white chocolate macadamia nut latte, which was tasty and a good energy boost. I have also had the Nitro Espresso before, which was good but not amazing. The Strawberry-Banana smoothie was also good. Prices were typical of most coffee shops. See the picture attached for a shot of the menu.Overall, I'd recommend giving it a shot if you need some coffee or need a place to get some work done or hang out with friends or a date.

Roasterie Cafe: what do users think?
Max Musick: Amazing coffee. Enough said. Had an iced coffee on my visit to KC proceeded by breakfast then went back for another before I hit the road back home. Looks great on the inside, very cool with the plane over the building.
Jana Miller: Best Coffee in KC! ❤️
Kerry Rice: Permanently closed
Molly Dillon: expensive, honestly their coffee always tastes a little off to me.
B G: Wonderful coffee. Even more wonderful are the servers. Warm and friendly !
Anthony Rei: This is not an “official” Roasterie location so the formula & training is apparently different than the main location down the street. I highly recommend going down the street. Had a really bad cappuccino here & wouldn’t go back. Supposed to be in a 8oz cup. I got a 12oz latte. Walked down to the main shop & had a much better experience. ! Nice staff here But way over-milked & overheated drink. No coffee flavor. I’m not understanding how a company with only 8 or so stores already has unofficial shops. Seems like a large error in management?
Victoria McCormick: Barista is amazing! Drinks have a great flavor and the snacks are delicious. Will definitely be returning.

Brittany Strohm: Stopped in here during First Fridays & glad we did. I’ll definitely be back! Great atmosphere & friendly staff!
Aristotle Pingul: Out of town visitors to KC here. Walked to PT's Coffee from our Airbnb after ordering online. What a find in a great neighborhood! Great friendly staff too! And great beverages and very good breakfast sandwiches. I highly recommend PT's Coffee. If you're in the neighborhood, stop by!
Tom Grotewohl: One of the chillest coffee shops around, nice vibe, peaceful music, natural lighting, octopus mural in bathroom.Only would add that using a card charged me a default $2 tip to the barista-- I don't mind tipping now and then but it was unexpected.
Matthew Phillips: Their schedule says they close at 4 pm on Mondays, what this actually means is they lock their doors at 3:30.
Maddie Cain: The very first time I came, the cute timer service was amazing and fast! I got an iced caramel vanilla latte and it was perfect. Not too sweet not too milky, it was the best! Def recommend!!

The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed with hip art and a sweet playlist to chill to. We'll be back for sure!Kid-friendliness: Several options for kids to choose from for both breakfast and lunch.Parking: Easy parking in a designated lot just on the side of the building.
Kayla Asher: My friend and I called into work Wednesday because we needed a self care day and decided to stop by PT’s because it’s been on our list for awhile and they did not disappoint. The staff was so sweet and welcoming. We ordered the sweet potato burrito and a breakfast sandwich along with a drip coffee and a vanilla chai. Hands down the best chai I have ever had and the food was just as good. I can’t wait to stop by again!
Fallon Kider: In KC visiting, and went across the street from my hotel. Latte filled a void and the breakfast sandwich was very tasty. Also accommodated me by putting something on the side. I super appreciate it and will be coming back.
Diego Bonsignore: Warming place!
LJ Harrison: Staff is always great.. Great Chai
Anthony Meyer: The service was friendly but the cappuccino I got was underwhelming. A tiny 6 oz. mostly espresso and not a lot of steamed milk. Other coffee shops offer up to 16 oz. cappuccinos that are much better. I will return to try the breakfast but won't be ordering a cappuccino.
Mo Chung: Excellent Espresso. Recommend to those looking for single source espresso shots.Update: unique blend, refreshed inside.
Paul Sommers: Great coffee and atmosphere!
Anne: Best Coffeehouse in KCMO with the friendliest staff.
Timothy Crawford: I support local coffee shops whenever I get the opportunity. This was a nice little spot off SW trafficway

Oddly Correct Coffee Bar: what do users think?
David Price: Love this local roastery. I usually just stop in to buy my beans every couple of weeks, but the beverages I have had have been great.Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Rilee Lake: Nice little coffee shop that offers a more fancy type of coffee. I don't know much about coffee outside of iced coffee drinks I get every once in a while. The staff was awesome and helped me pick out a drink which ended up being a cold brew. Coffee was delicious and it came with a to-go glass (glass deposit) and koozie. I like the push for reuse/less waste with the glass. The space had indoor and outdoor dining. If I lived here, I would come here often.
Curtis Correll: They were roasting fresh when I walked by & the whole block smelled amazing! Their roasts are incredible & their staff is really knowledgeable.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
scott elbert: Amazing coffee. Get there early if you want a biscuit. Always friendly.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pimento Cheese Biscuit, Coffee and Biscuit, Biscuit Sausage Biscuit, Breakfast Biscuit …More
Joan Garrison: Love everything about Oddly. Wish there was more shade on the patio.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Charlie Adams: Nice coffee shop. The buildout is very modern and looks very nice. Not very many selections for breakfast. I bought the egg, sausage biscuit and dark choco mocha. The sandwich was a little bland and biscuit hard and crumbly. The coffee was good. Bought my coffee "to go" and was given a glass container with a foam koozie. I realize they are trying to go green, but I think a foam koozie isn't quite going green, just the appearance of it. I would have preferred a compostable cup with a cardboard sleeve. It's just a little too hipster for me, but it's a nice coffee shop.
Sara Line Frisk: Wandered into Oddly after a recommendation from a friend for an eco chic cafe - and this cafe definitely provided the beautiful enviro vibes 🌿 we were seeking!Ordered two lattes (one with macademia milk) and two biscuits (egg + one with egg, bacon, and cheese curd - was awesome). Barista service was kind, knowledgeable, and careful. To the left, a lush corner of cute plants for a “plant pop up” - some darling little cuttings in glass beakers or larger house plants perfect for a house warming gift or a little earthy pick me up.Wait was quick and service was brought out to the outdoor seating. There are plenty of cozy seating options inside, featuring local art and lithographic prints throughout, but the outdoor seating faces the sunshine, so we opted for outside! The building is black with a white mural encircling the edge, quirky and fun art to make for a very trendy coffee shop. The lattes were pretty good (cool that the beans are roasted and packaged in house). The biscuits, though, which are homemade really elevated the whole experience. Great joint for breakfast for sure. The atmosphere feels pretty local and chill, lots of community meetings and would serve as a perfect date or work session spot.

Alpha Landingham: Hipster aesthetic off of Troost. They roast their coffee on-site, and quirky and off-kilter art is found in different places.....The homemade biscuits and other breakfast goodies are delicious. Excellent coffee, patio space on a nice day, and friendly service round out the experience nicely.
Darnell Darnell: After doing further coffee research on coffee. oddleys is my favorite! dutch bros, and all the rest cant compare!Great coffee!Great donuts!!!Try the blueberry donuts, and the bourbon vanilla iced latte,. I literally get 3 or 4 coffees and put in my fridge for the few days to come, and still tastes great! Also return the glass jars and coozies you get a return on glass bottle returns! Also great nice staff!!!!Starbucks get out of the way, there's a new brand in town! And btw Please Please TIP them generously!!!They work hard and are delivering great services and products!!!They earned it!
Lacy Rueff: I really like their Chai & biscuits. Though I'm bummed that I never seem to make it there early enough (12:30/1ish) before they sell out of biscuits. Wish they made more later in the day. It's also a very clean & nicely decorated place. And on a warm day, there's nothing better than sitting there while the doors are open. Love that.
Thomas Stone: This place was absolutely horrid. I was looking for a local coffee shop to try for my weekly dates with my partner. The moment they saw me in a wheelchair, they refused to make eye contact, no one even addressed me. Even when I pulled up to the counter, they addressed my (walking) partner. I had to fight the door to even get in, and the employees simply looked at me disgusted. They have a few chair options, but the rest of the seating is blocked off by a steep concrete stair, so impossible for me to have seating. I came to sit and sip coffee, and literally had to leave because NO ONE talked to me, there was no seating, and the parking lot was dangerous. If I had come on my own, I literally wouldn’t have been able to get to the door, or in it. This place is NOT wheelchair accessible. Parking or the building, and the staff was horrid. Coffee wasn’t even worth it, I don’t mind the up charge for the cups, but gosh. I really wanted this to work and I literally can’t find a positiveWheelchair accessibility: It’s not. They have the wheelchair parking next to a 30 degree ramp and stairs, there is a metal incline on the door that trapped both sets of wheels. Half the seating is blocked off by stairs or a very tall counter, so you only have one or two table options, so if anyone else is there, you don’t get to stay. I couldn’t.
Mike Parker: Great coffee and super awesome customer service?Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

KALYN DECKARD: This place is a breath of fresh air! The kind of place that feels like home. The staff is kind & friendly. I had the iced coffee with vanilla bourbon flavoring which was DELICIOUS. They served it to me in a mason jar with a lid & a cute "Oddly Correct" koozie! The garage doors were open which allowed fresh air to blow in...such a refreshing way to spend my morning. You will not regret stopping in at Oddly Correct! Favorite coffee spot in KC :)
Randy McMannama: The best pour over in Kansas City. It's worth the drive from anywhere in the metro area. You can also order their beans online freshly roasted and pickup on Fridays or have shipped to your home. Always a friendly staff, I loveI the vibe. The barristas look like all enjoy working there. I also like that they open the garage doors weather permitting, it makes the shop feel so much bigger.Features: Masks requested if not vaccinated.
James Snider: Great atmosphere with an outdoor patio. Parking lot on the side of the building. The drip coffee was on point! A cool staff and there's a good menu to order food. I will definitely keep this on my list of frequents.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
