Andrew Johnson: It never ceases to amaze me how poorly this bank branch treats long time customers like me. I've had a DBA account for years and the statements I receive clearly state this. Today, the teller questioned the check that was made out to my business and proceeded to tell me that this once they would cash the check but if it was returned it they would charge me. I've cashed several checks made out to my business. A supervisor was called over and made no attempt to look further into this and offered no explanation. The staff here could use some training in what customer service is. I much prefer the friendly treatment I receive at Community America where I have another account.
Luke Haug: I am from out of town and had some problems with fraudulent charges. Everyone there was super helpful in helping me cancel my old card, get me cash out of my account, and get me my money back as well as getting a new card ordered! They did it all in less than ten minutes I am very glad I bank with CapFed !

Never dealt with fraud very secure customer service is great love the manager Raymond my favorite is ms Fatima she’s the best so helpful above and beyond has helped me establish credit and get credit card us bank has plenty best one would be altitude bc the point system… beginner bank I believe is for beginners and those who make under 1000 a pay check it’s simplest and doesn’t allow over draft. They say u pay 4 dollar service fee but I never have had to and of course there are more advanced bank accounts for those who have more experience and I believe it allows over draft they have a great online system always accurate and simple I love wen I leave my card in the car and can get on the app n copy my card number I love how my credit cards are on on the app just like my debit extremely easy to pay and keep track of and notifications ever purchase choice of card for free lots and once again no fraud they monitor yr card usage any odd transaction will be decline and u will receive a notification to accept and can reswipe for instance I never spend do shopping online wen I did I got a security text asking if it was me respond is yes ignore if no u can set up card limits order card check accurate credit score without impact all on the us bank app… us bank is awesome the two workers I mentioned have been there for a long time and I enjoy there service I occasionally come in just to see Fatima and she always gives me advice recommends a credit card for me lol and it always helps my score

I tell them my transaction and they start working on it swiftly. Then I get my receipts and done. Then out I go. All were very nice. Keep up the good work!

Cheryl Goods: I am not a member of US Bank; however, I had a terrible experience with this particular branch. The tellers were very rude and one of (I know from experience) is a thief. The tool my jar of coins $250-$300 worth of quarters to be counted and gave me a receof $75.25. My jar was full of quarters to the top and it holds at least $300. I reported the incident to the supervisor who only blew me off and said it was a done deal. I felt robbed, violated, and disgusted by how the matter was handled. I'm still pursuing this matter to this day. Beware....this branch has thieves as tellers. WORK WITH THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

At best their bank programs often function as costly, inefficient creditIn my experience this bank can’t do math, transactions don’t make sense and you’ll be misled and gaslit for calling them out. Along with multiple customers in line arguing the same thing if you dare to go in.— Obviously a customer wouldn’t and knowingly want to spend more than they have (or they’d get a credit card) so why would they knowingly be aware of a transactions that’s “processing” allow it to not be reflected in the owners account accurately - all while approving new transactions.A proper bank wouldn’t allow customers to pay for things with money they don’t have (because math). Big banks can defend their systems - when they’re changing things around, holding on to things even though you accounted for them with the money you budgeted to spend. Prepare to have your money doing who’s know what for who knows how long and don’t even try to gauge what’s safe to spend because your balance won’t be accurate and they’ll let you overdraft and keep authorizing charges despite their accounting errors that aren’t recognized on their end and that of the user.This is beyond an occasional budgeting error. In my opinion it’s fraud.Customers should have the right to have their transactions declined if they do not have the funds to cover them - because the customer when spending it or funding a transaction believes it to only go through if the funds are there to cover them. DUHWho would willingly spend beyond their means and why would US bank approve of them and their transactions doing that. Again - not good accounting/bankingYou’d think a bank would be able to know exactly what the customer is safe to spend and have that reflected in authorizations, approvals, transfers and available balances.Do better!
David F: This bank is close to my home, and my wife has used US Bank for 20 years, so it made the most sense for our joint account. Recently I applied for a loan to assist with a not for profit I am starting. I applied for a certain amount, but was only approved for a lower amount at a frankly predatory interest rate, which I would not take. This was fine, because I could go to an alternative loan service, whose main requirement was a loan rejection from a large bank. But US Bank/this branch WOULD NOT REJECT ME. They said they would only give "counter offers," so approvals for different amounts rather than a simple decline. (The staff was rude and overbearing the whole time.) So they have left me in a place where I am running out of time to raise funds, the alternative source is perfectly willing but the Armour US Bank refuses to help. Absolutely ridiculous and insulting situation, will not be banking with US any longer.

I was told that I could open a checking account during a $300 promotion period. An employee at this bank told me this in person, told me the promotion was valid, and helped me set up the account in person. Shockingly 6 months later, they came up with excuses for how I did not meet the deadlines on time. I OPENED THE ACCOUNT IN PERSON AT THEIR GUIDANCE. Based on what I was told by their employee, it should have been impossible to not meet the deadlines. They lied to me and got what they wanted from me - my business. I am filing a claim with the Small Claims court. This business is terrible.

I mean I HAVE NEVER GONE TO A US BANK AND BEEN ABLE TO MAKE SIMPLE DEPOSITS OR WITHDRAWLS. Chase, Wells Fargo, and Citibank can have me in and out within 5 minutes!!! After bein, denied my own money I am consulting with attorneys this week and will finally be closing my account this week. Dominick Jackson: Don't EVER get an account with them, a year ago things were fine, then they did away with their old checking account plans. Without signature, they put me on this new plan, and I lost literally all the perks. I used to get ATM refunds at ALL ATMs now on top of not getting the refund I get charged $2 on top of the $3 ATM fee if I use an ATM other than theirs. THERE IS ONLY 3 LOCATIONS!!!!! They hired a bunch of new people that are extremely slow. The mobile app is now gone downhill, seems like every time I get on it they're doing maintenance. OH and that's another thing, there's all of the sudden $3 maintenance fees they slipped in on me 3 times a month. Before all of this I never complained No fees, no nothing, they were literally giving me my money back from the ATM fees. WORST BANK IN KC

Elizabeth Dingman: I've had accounts at this bank for over five years and closed them yesterday. When I opened my accounts, they had a Kasasa checking and savings account where you could get $10 cash back each month in the checking if you met certain requirements, and the savings account had an interest rate of I think 4%, but a few years ago they got rid of both. There are a few KC locations for the bank, and they used to waive any fees incurred from using a different ATM, but a couple years ago they stopped doing that and now charge an extra fee on top of whatever the ATM charged you. So if I was ever out of town or didn't have transportation to get to a bank branch, I'd end up paying $7-ish to get cash from a different ATM. The overdraft fees for checking are around $30, same as a larger chain bank I've used, which is disappointing.Also, at this location recently they put up a sign in the lobby asking customers "for the security and safety of other customers" to please NOT wear a mask inside, and if customers disagreed, they could use the drive through instead and not come inside. I appreciate the option of the drive through as a contactless option, but asking customers to not wear a mask inside doesn't make any sense to me.The tellers inside were always friendly and helpful, and this used to be a nice smaller bank where I felt I was getting a better value than the national chain banks, but due to the changes in their policies, I'd rather have a more convenient bank with more locations and perhaps more services offered while I again look for a small bank that gives me better value.

The tellers are always personable and ready to answer any questions we have. Recently we had an issue occur in our family and our daughter was hospitalized. With extra expenses our checking account got seriously out of control and we were assessed (rightly so) several overdraft fees. When I called and asked for a little help they were very gracious and waived a few of the fees and were very kind and patient in listening to our situation. They went above and beyond however by sending a personal card to our home signed by many of the employees from our Zona Rosa branch wishing us well. Jason Logan: The drive thru is very slow. The last time I was there I watched them process the guy next to me, then after he was gone I saw someone get up out of the chair and then finally process my deposit. Sean Foley: A wonderful organization with a very important mission and amazing people.
Nicholas Redding: Free. Informative self guided tour of how the National Monetary System works. Takes less than an hour to go through, but you do get a free souvenir for coming! Great for kids.
John Frank: Beautiful building, coin collection is worth seeing, Federal Reserve vault with 1 Billion is pretty cool as well. Exhibits are lackluster, entry is free and security is painless. TSA could learn something from the Federal Reserve.
Bethany Spitzmiller: I was really surprised how fun the money museum was. It's kind of wild how little the average person knows about something we use pretty much every day. The interactive exhibits are fun for people of all ages. From trying to lift a gild bar (like 27lbs!!) to making your own money or taking a look at savings and interest, there's fun for everyone. I'd definitely recommend making it a stop while visiting KC. Best of all, it's free!
