Susan Herlihy: I have been a client since before 2011 and couldn't have made better choice. Protected, well lit, clean. Barb, the manager is one of the nicest I've met. They added climate controlled units a few years back which added bonus for those who needed. Location is also a big plus. Angela McNurlin: I rented from Attic Storage NKC in 2016 for little over 2 years and NEVER had any issues. So when I was in need of a unit in 2021 I did not second guess and went right back to them. The office manager is very nice and helpful. I recently had a large unit and after moving most of my things out to a smaller house.. I was still in need of a smaller unit, which I was quickly accommodated with. My go to place when in need of a storage unit. Thank You!!
Ashley Davis: If I could give negative stars I would. I have rented from several storage facilities and this one is by far the worst. From the moment I got there, the manager was very rude and showed no interest in caring about my belongings I was storing. She asked if I had a lock for my other door, (as I had two doors that needed locks and didn’t have an extra one handy the day I got it.) I told her I would be there in one hour and get a lock on it. When I got there she had already removed her lock, leaving my door Accessible for anyone to get inside. This carelessness really upset me because I have my grandmothers wedding ring and a lot of expensive tools inside. I am a machinist, which is why i have a lot of tools, and I also sell items I get from storage auctions online, which brings me to my next example.The second day I was there I was moving in more items and rearranging everything, I also happened to take a couple pictures to post online later. Apparently there is a time limit you can stay at that storage facility, because according to her based on the amount of time I had been there, I must be going against the rules and working out of my storage unit, even though I was only moving things in and happened to take three pictures of my things as I had them in my hands because it was just convenient to do so.On the third day I got a flat tire inside her facility because she doesn’t keep a clean nail free drive way to park, so I was fixing my tire and she said she knew what I was doing and I was going to have to get out because I can’t work out of my unit. She has now issued me paper work for a lease termination. Stay away from this place!! Worst management I have ever seen!

Jacob Hatton: For starters, the facility is clean and very well maintained. I don’t have any worries around security, as it’s well lit and adequate surveillance. Definitely have piece of mind knowing my stuff is in good hands at Attic Storage.Secondly I was having struggles reserving a unit online, contacted Barb, and she was beyond friendly and helpful. She made sure I got my unit secured and still vouched the online promos even though I was having computer issues on my end. I feel very happy giving my business to someone who’s willing to take the extra steps to make sure the customer is completely taken care of/satisfied! If I could give 10 stars I would, just because Barb deserves it :)

nathan elder: I used MyGreenKC to take a look at my energy efficiency and attic insulation and took advantage of an Evergy rebate program. Sean was on time and polite; he took care of my home quickly and respectfully. I would recommend this company to anyone. They did a great clean up after.
Chlo-Ann Rizzo: My home was built in 1957 and had little to no insulation. The temperature at the top of the stairs felt 20 degrees higher than the ground floor. Three large oak trees provided shade for the house originally, but all died and were removed over the past ten years. After reading all the reviews, I reached out to Green Improvement Consulting. They quoted a fair price and were able to do the work within a week of the quote. The crew was professional, timely and as mentioned in the other reviews did an amazing job cleaning up. The immediate noticeable difference in temperature made me wonder why I waited as long as I did to have the problem addressed. My air conditioner is not running as much and the house is cooler throughout, even upstairs.
Nick Phillips: Sean and his team did a fantastic job on our insulation. They were very fast and professional. They walked us through the process and took before and after photos. Would definitely recommend for any insulation needs.
Steve McQ: Bottom line up front, I highly recommend Green Improvement Consulting. In my own opinion,the only downside (which also may be the case with other companies) is if they have to cut into the drywall, you have to repair it yourself or use another contractor.Sean and his crew were courteous, professional, and friendly. Overall, communication was good and once it started getting warm, he came back and fixed a spot that didn’t show up in the initial work they completed. Thanks again GIC for improving my homes H/C efficiency!

Javi Juarez: We used Green Improvement Consulting and saw a big change in our house. We have a 3 story home. The first floor thermostat would be lower/higher than the 3rd floor thermostat. Now, the whole house has equalized due to the new insulation in the house (attic). GIC cleaned up nicely and it looked like they were never there. They sprayed in basement as well. The young man went above and beyond spraying all the nooks and crannies in our 1909 drafty home. They will not disappoint!!! After GIC left, we were nice and cozy for the winter. Now, Bring on summer ☀️
Curt Creason: Shaun and his crew were very fair on pricing ,professional, and got in and out ,cleaned up behind themslves, and did all work as promised. I would recomend them for insulation work.
Amin Wakas: We used green improvement for an energy audit and then contracted them to do the recommended insulation work. They brought in a fan to do the air sealing test and an infrared camera to show us where all the cold air was coming in (it was below freezing at the time). Sean was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions directly. They ended up doing a lot of work including attic insulation, knee wall insulation, air sealing, spray foam in the basement and crawl space. All of the employees were respectful, knowledgeable, and did a great job.Would highly recommend them to anyone else that needs insulation work.
Camellia Dickenson: I appreciated the quick response to my initial inquiry. Sean was well informed, answering all of my questions, and the estimate was reasonable. GIC handled all of the rebates, making the process less complicated. The air sealing and insulating was done competently in a timely manner. It would have been helpful if the pictures taken of the work had been shared on site with a brief comment about each. The report of the results of the energy audit was overall very comprehensive. I could have benefited from additional and more specific information about the air leaks not in the attic of my house when they determined the rate of my house leakage. I appreciate the quality of the work done and would readily recommend GIC.

They just completed the installation and sealing but I honestly feel like I can sense a difference in the house already. They handled EVERYTHING for us which was paramount since I'm a licensed Realtor in 4 states, manage my rental in Platte City, and am a military spouse. They worked around my tenants needs with COVID restrictions and their schedules. They were professional, timely, and even did the leg work for the energy rebate! Darcy Quick: Energy audit was fine. Poor communication. Attic insulation gets everywhere getting in and out to service the AC unit in the attic.
Jessica Myers: Called them to get a quote for adding insulation to address a hot spot/section on my knee wall. The guy on the phone was extremely rude, and told me they wouldn’t come to my house to bid any work without the *mandatory* $1000 home energy audit. If we went with them for the work after the $1000 audit, they would credit $500 for the work. This is a predatory marketing strategy so they “get” you. I think home audits are nice but I know where the issue is, so it was extremely strange they wouldn’t bid out the work to insulate those spots.

Bill Gregory: I don’t ever write reviews but we had our sweet bichon girl groomed here Animal Attic Gladstone. We wrote a review before here but must have been taken off. She started shaking right as we picked her up from grooming. We thought she was just cold. So we ignored it. Later that night she was still shaking really bad. So we investigated further and lifted her neck up. There was a huge gash and was bleeding under her neck and it was infected. They did not mention anything about it to us when we had picked her up. We have used them in the past before but stopped going here because of this inhumane incident. Please be careful and check your fur babies if you are going here!!!

Donna DeGood: I have used Animal Attic for quite some time for my miniature poodle. They always does fantastic with him. I recently adopted a rescue dog and took her in for her first grooming. I worried as she was very skittish. Being a rescue I don’t really know her background. The owner asked lots of questions to make sure my new baby would be ok. They did an AMAZING job. She looks so much better and was so happy when I picked her up.
Zoie Findley: My cat has a chronic illness that makes it very hard for her to from herself so it's very important for her to be groomed. They do a very good job with her here and I can always tell she's much more comfortable

Taylor Johnson: This place completely ruined my 7 month old pups coat. I went in telling them to specially trim his hair short ( face, legs, etc) but absolutely NO shave at all because as a schnauzer mix he has a double coat and that’s not supposed to be shaved. I trusted them because I have been taking my dogs there for years. I came to get him and could not believe my eyes. They shaved everything off and made him look like a rat. The lady even argued with me saying I said to shave him, and I kept explaining to her I said NO shave. Where is the customer service, where is the physical paper agreement where both parties understand what is to be cut/ not cut. They still wanted to charge me even though his coat may never grow back the same. Will never be back to this place, true dog lovers/ owners know how heartbreaking it is to see their dog like that, it’s not just hair. For these groomers to think I wanted a shave is mind blowing considering his breed and age. I’m disgusted with what this place did to my baby. Hopefully he will look the same in a few months.

alyssa jaime: Hi! Let me tell you about this company. They came to our house approximately two weeks ago for possible insulation issues. They blew some insulation in our attic, put some framing around our doors and installed a new bathroom fan. They looked around for possible issues and then tighten stuff up as they repaired other things. I have not made a comment since then because I’ve been waiting to see what happened. Well in the past two weeks we’ve only had to use our air conditioner maybe two or three times and not even for a 24 hour. Probably not even for a 12 hour. That’s how well our house is now insulated. They were incredibly friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and went out of their way to explain everything and help in other areas that they did not have to. I cannot thank these guys enough. Scott Ziebell: I actually had a squeegie that was given to me by Steve Gaylord who installed my glass door in 2019 that we use often in my shower. He had his number on it , which is the only way I would have known who to call after 4 years. Jeff Cline answered and was amazing to work with. He communicated often and was very professional. Summer 'Kit' Farris: Honestly its the best storage unit places that I know. I have a climate control unit and it's worth the money. Lots of space and security monitoring 24/7. staff super friendly and very helpful! They even went out of their way to help me when, I had an unwelcome guest try to start stuff while there to help me unload. They where discreet and private about the whole matter and if it would have been for them that day i probably would have ended up in a car accident. So thank you guys so much at Attic Storage! Andrea Tinker: We had a phenomenal experience. Brian called before arrival and was here literally at the start of the scheduled window. We were hosting a friend from out of town so we all had coffee on the back deck while he did his job about the house. He advised on his plan of attack on the interior before heading outside. I had expressed concerns about brown recluse spiders in the basement so he set out glue traps and noted that he did, in fact, find brown recluses spiders in the basement and what I may need to consider as the spray may not be enough to wipe them out. He even left me some glue traps to place as I see fit. He was very kind and efficient. I will absolutely have them back in a few months. The owner, Tammy, is just an absolute delight to boot! Her response time is magical.
