Mackenzie Clark: Never met Sophia, never left a trial happy. At my first trial I was told, “I use this foundation for all my white girls.”They were nice enough to give me one free trial (this time makeup only) when I was unhappy with the first one ($80). At that point I had already paid a non refundable ~$700.00 for the makeup on the day of my wedding. After the second trial, September 8th, four weeks before my wedding, I communicated that I was still not happy. I was told that no one was available for another trial. I didn’t want to be unhappy with the makeup on the day of my wedding, so I chose to do my own. Ended up spending ~$2,000.00 dollars for someone to curl my hair and do a portion of my bridesmaids hair/makeup. Wish it would have worked out differently.

Communicating with Sophia during the entire process was, as others mentioned, so very easy!My bridesmaids hair styles as well as my hairstyle the day of our wedding turned out exactly as we hoped they would. The only change I would have made would be to have had my curls a little bit more loose and not so tightly pulled back for my half-up do, but this was 100% a personal preference and request I could have made but did not, so nothing whatsoever against Graceful Beauty and the stylists!If you are looking for a reliable, friendly, customer-focused and affordable hair and makeup vendor, look no further than Graceful Beauty KC. They are worth every penny and will make you feel so beautiful on your special day!
Alyssa Zabel: Communication with Sophia was a breeze! She was always quick to respond and so accommodating when a few members of my bridal party/family changed their minds a few weeks out and wanted to have hair and make-up services after all. She was able to add a second artist and re do the day of schedule to accommodate everyone which was so kind of her. I was happy with my trial hair and make-up and eventually was happy with my day of services as well but was a little disappointed when my artist didn’t seem to remember the look we came up with. We were able to look at pictures and talk through what I was looking for in the moment. My hair was not turning out how the artist and I were thinking so she ended up taking it out and starting over which put us behind schedule but luckily the schedule Sophia created had some extra time built in and the photographer made up the rest of the time to get back on schedule. The final look we ended up with was beautiful and with the exception of a quick touch up on curls between pictures and the ceremony (we expected this because my hair doesn’t hold curl and took pictures outside on a windy day) everything stayed perfectly the whole day. The two artists were also very accommodating the day of when 4 extra girls asked for false lashes which was not originally planned - they helped without hesitation and did not charge me. Lastly, my mom is very picky and the artist who did her hair was very patient with her and helped her find a look she was happy with which is no small feat. Overall, I am happy with the services I received and would book through them again. I would just want to make sure the artist I worked with remembered what we talked about and did at the trial to make things go a little smoother with the hair. Charlie Cox: After being left without a hair or MUA 3 weeks before my wedding, I contacted Sophia with Graceful Beauty KC. She assembled a team of 4 people in less than 24 hours and absolutely saved the day. She got trials scheduled for myself for both services and was excellent with communication. Her contract is clear and you know exactly what you’re getting. Her team that provided services was excellent, included Bree and Copper for hair and Tai and Lexcee for makeup. All 4 did an amazing job but special kudos to Tai. She went above and beyond, her attention to detail was amazing and her makeup lasted through the party without difficulty. Spring Taylor: Sophia did my wedding make up and she is a talented artist. I did wedding make up trials with two other makeup artists and those made me feel over done and my facial features were lost. Sophia was the exact opposite. I wanted a glam look that accented my natural facial features but was light on powder. Sophia more than delivered! During my make up trial, she made sure that I absolutely loved the look and then recreated it perfectly weeks later. On the day of, she did five faces, four of them that she’d never seen before and everyone, including my 71 year old mom, looked like the very best version of themselves—everyone glowed. I felt gorgeous and I could not be happier with how we all looked.
Maddie Giambrone: I was in last minute bind to find someone to do my makeup for my Bridal Shower. I sent a late night email to Graceful Beauty KC and got a response the next morning. They were able to squeeze me in at my time and day. Hollie Perry: We had family pictures scheduled and booked makeup with Sabina. Our pictures got cancelled due to rain and she was unavailable the next day for reschedule. What she did though was so sweet! She told us to come by at 5 as that was when she would be done with her clients and she’d throw eyelashes on all of us as that would make a huge difference. David Massey: Small business. Got this as a Christmas gift. My girls came back beautiful.I suggest making it a large group. Not everyone need to get done up, but to just add to the atmosphere.
Irish Racion: We went here last week. Overall experience was great. The makeup artist was nice and did a great job with our makeup. One thing I noticed is that the place is not well kept or maybe just the time we're there. Lashes and brushes are on the floor though the ambiance is nice they still need to make sure the place is clean and organized.

I cannot express how amazing I looked when I left the studio! I am typically modest about my appearance but I felt like a brand new woman and could not help but to feel stunning that day. Brenna: Valerie and Carly were wonderful and very professional! Carly did my microderm and Valerie waxed my eyebrows and gave me a massage. Overall a very pleasant experience. (I believe your fire extinguishers are due for a re-service though)

She didn't have lice she doesn't have it, the director made it sound like he didn't believe me.

I Usually don’t do this but , I recently received a facial and somehow contracted Covid , I am angry and frustrated as I have a family , who now I cannot see , because the work environment that summit salon provides isn’t well kept nor clean for us (clients). I RECOMMEND summit salon invest in taking the time to clean and sanitize there work spaces for safety of each client and Therapist that comes through the door. I pray and hope nobody experiences the same thing. Very unsafe.
