It's one of my favorite places to go for a sweet treat. They have so many delicious flavors to choose from, from classics like chocolate and vanilla to creative ones like lavender honey and brown butter pecan. They also have some unique flavors that are only available in Kansas City, like the KC burnt ends & sauce ice cream, which is made with Joe's Kansas City Bar-B-Que. The ice cream is creamy and rich, and the portions are generous. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is cozy and fun. I heard that Betty Rae's is recently under new ownership, and I hope that nothing changes with the quality and variety of their ice cream. Betty Rae's is a gem in Kansas City, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves ice cream.

Na- Na: This is a pretty nice Ice Cream shop. They offer milkshakes as well, which is what I went for. I got a Butter Pecan small sized milkshake which was good, the price is a bit much for the portion, but it’s not terribly unreasonable. It was about $7. It’s a pretty good vibe and nice looking space but if it gets crowded it’s not as enjoyable which I assume happens often based on the busyness that day. A little bus was parked outside of it which I assume is another space to enjoy your ice cream. There’s also other outdoor seating aside from the bus. All in all: 3.5/5.

Priyanka Kumar: NEVER ORDER FROM HERE!!! My friend's mom ordered her a birthday cake to be delivered to her with her name on it and the wrong cake was delivered. She called them and they said that they gave the delivery guy the wrong cake. At first they said they would deliver the correct cake but it never came. Later they tried to claim that it was door dash's fault and that we would have to not only order but PAY for a new cake. Now they are refusing to bring the correct cake or even give a refund. The manager claims that he does not know what to do and that he is new on the job. One time on the phone he even had the gall to say I'm sorry this happened but I am busy and have to go. Never even called back! He failed to make any kind of effort to rectify the situation. He also says his boss may call but says that could be whenever. Usually we love cold stone and this branch. Massive failure!!!!

Well, your link is broken, the driver won't pick up and I ordered through you! This is the problem with routing through Doordash. Even the link from Coldstone to rate the Doordash driver was broken.

I ordered the Oreo cookie dough ice cream (The Way the Cookie Crumbles) in the Gotta Have It (Large) size.It was pretty good, though honestly at the moment I should've ordered the medium size instead. It was filling to the point of nearly making me sweet-sick.The price was a little on the expensive side, but is to be expected for this ice cream shop chain. Service was alright, nothing to write home about. I do imagine the store gets very busy once the weather warms up though.

Alexander Sharp: Expensive and ice cream tasted burnt. The lady was hitting the mixer to the cup and I think it was overheating. I hope no metal shards got in it. My son and I had to throw them out after a few drinks. My daughters scoop of ice cream tasted a lot better, the only reason for 2 stars.

Maybe pay the kids a bit more and you'll have enough staff to improve your product and save these kids from the verbal abuse I've heard on several occasions because this place is so slow. Only reason I'm writing this review is because I had to wait 10 minutes to order and am now on minute 17 of waiting for my order.

Not every time. But more often than not, that's been the start of my response.So here's why:Yeah, the custard concretes & sundaes are, as foretold on the awning, Fabulous. But, more importantly, it's a neighborhood operation, an integral part of and phenomenon made possible by Beautiful Brookside. And that matters because it manifests itself in the way this place provides first jobs to young people who live near it, in the way its walls are decorated, in the way its products are chosen and presented, in the way it draws neighbors together.So, about those custards: Everything starts as vanilla. How it goes from there is up to you: choose the ingredients you'd like to add or pick a "proven favorite" from combinations previously concocted and named by the employees and customers who came before you. You'll find these described on the blackboard that covers the north wall.The choice is yours. Choose wisely.

Was just trying to share a memory with the kids but clearly they don’t abide by their google hours for those who are driving 40+ mins to come see them. Disappointing for sure. Update your hours if you plan to be closed please. People, and families, depend on that for their plans.

The lady came back for it about 15-20 minutes later after discovering she had left it somewhere (she looked a bit inebriated). She quickly said thanks and scurried away. Shout out to the employees here for being honest and diligent.

Sara Borland: Sweet spot with a cool vibe to stop for unique ice cream creations. You can order in a cone, cup or shake - all are plentiful and delicious. Price is reasonable for the amount you get!

Both were great portions, about 2 scoops each and well priced for the amount and quality. They have a huge selection of different goodies from churros to nachos to shaved ice and smoothies. I definitely recommend trying them out! They’re now our favorite ice cream shop in KC.

Linda Cheung: Parisian quality chocolates in Kansas City. Their fruit bonbons are intensely fruity and moderately sweet not overly sweet. I don’t usually enjoy white chocolate but their seasonal raspberry caramel is one of the best. My other favorites are the rosemary, lavender, fleur de sel, and banana foster bonbons and the dark chocolate fleur de sel pecan caramels. Their KC storefront is nice for fresh chocolates with little to no packaging. I’ve since moved to Los Angeles but still love ordering and trying their new seasonal collections every year.

These chocolates were so beautiful and unique that I couldn't bring myself to destroying one by eating it for the first day. By the second day, I couldn't resist and ate four or five. On the third day, I am ashamed to say that I finished off the entire box. The flavors were so decadent and also unique. I especially loved the raspberry ganache and the aztec spice. If you want to impress someone who loves chocolates, this is the place to buy them. I highly recommend based on appearance and taste.

Rather than feeling rushed, the service I received was top-notch and friendly -- Jasmine was incredibly patient and friendly with us, offering suggestions to our indecisive selves. Josh also was working diligently and meticulously in the background to make sure we had all the flavor options available stocked. The store is immaculate, and for any who may be intimidated by the prices, I want to encourage you to treat yourself, because everything is delicious--the fruit pate is even vegan!
