Orange Easel School of Art: what do users think?
Nate Little: My daughter just finished her first semester of Drawing 101, and she absolutely loved it! It's been exciting to watch her art skills develop, and she is exposed to many more different media than at home...without the mess! She also chose to have her birthday party here this year, and it was the absolute best kid's party we've ever experienced. We would give them a 6/5, if possible. Highly recommend!
Shawn Foley: We all need more art in our lives and Orange Easel is making sure Arting is a positive experience for parents and kids alike. I cannot recommend Allison and the team enough. They all are amazing!!
Pat Henrichs: My daughter loves this place and has been coming to classes over several sessions. They do well at communicating and keeping kids engaged while learning art.
Helena L: My son loved their camps. They do a lot of cool things and the staff are nice. Lots of opportunities to be creative. Not too prescriptive.
Rachael Cox: Our “home for Art!” My kids started at ages 2+ and 6 years later are still loving it! Both, the Liberty location and Platte Woods provide incredible opportunities for exploration, mess making, creativity, and social engagement. The focus is on teaching skills and doing art in an environment that supports self-confidence, mistakes, imagination, and fun! We have enjoyed both in person semester classes, extra special events, and the online creation nation classes. Thank you Orange Easel- your quality of teachers and curriculum cannot be beat.
Deven Miller: Highly recommend this venue for birthday parties! Orange Easel hosted my daughter's party. It went like clockwork and the kids had an absolute blast. Sara is a wonderful instructor who is knowledgable and encouraging. I am already thinking about what class/party my daughter would like to do next.
Samantha Priddy: We came for a Girl Scout event and it was awesome! I’m so glad we have an Orange Easel by us now. We will definitely be back for workshops and hopefully a regular class soon!

Orange Easel School of Art: what do users think?
Lindsay Quinn: Just went to a birthday party here, and LOVED it! What a magical place to bring your family!
Sarah Shields: My grandson had his first art class today and it was super fun. Cute little room with different stations set up. Teacher was very nice and so was lady at the front desk.
valerie walden: We hosted my 7 year old's birthday here and the experience was top notch! Miss Grace was wonderful with the kids, she took care of everything all we had to do was show up with cupcakes. The kids all had a blast at their splatter paint party. Best party I've ever hosted cause it was absolutely stress free for me. Cannot recommend enough!
Talia J: Have had both children’s birthday parties here numerous times and they never disappoint. Definitely recommend!
Amie Francois: Wonderful place! My kids love going here for art classes. Highly recommend!
Amanda Ronkoski: My daughter was never interested in sports or other team activities. She's always been creative and Orange Easel gives her that creative outlet. Art is her sport! Every instructor is so kind, knowledgeable and patient. My daughter still looks forward to class every week and this is her third year. The staff is super accommodating, even allowing us to do one on one make up classes on several occasions. You will not find a more understanding and caring group of educators! Thank you for making my child feel like she belongs!
Ashley Welch: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueWe LOVE this place and all the staff! They always go above and beyond to make my children feel welcome and comfortable! They value relationships and joy!
Jodie Moore: We love all the classes at Orange Easel and all the teachers! We attended Preschool classes for two years. My daughter loves how the stories they read are brought to life with the art being tied into it each week. We aren't attending this semester due to us distancing at home (ugh, Covid) but are really happy to hear about all of the precautions being taken as it makes us feel comfortable about signing up again. I have framed artwork she has created in our home- so it's saved some money on home decor too! We usually purchase a whole semester to take advantage of the discount.
Heather Coleman: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Justin Friedl: My daughter has been attending orange easel classes for nearly 2 years. Every class she has been in she has enjoyed, not only the subject but the teachers. All of our interactions have been positive and the owner and teachers have gone out of their way to accommodate us when something comes up.We’ve stayed in the main area for most of the classes and can hear the teachers going through the class and they’ve all done wonderful in keeping the class on track while ensuring the kids have fun and can express themselves. Then the pandemic hit and Orange Easel really shone by how they made changes to their format and curriculum. They continue to look for ways to ensure as many kids as possible can do what they love doing. Not to mention their parties - those are always a great times and the kids have had a blast at every single one !
Jenna tate: My daughter began taking a class at Orange Easel. We missed the first class. She came home her first night unsure of the class and her abilities. The other kids were ahead of her and more confident. Her teacher personally invited her to a make up session and spent time with her catching her up (and boosting her confidence!). She LOVES it at Orange Easel. Her teacher is wonderful! I highly recommend.
Dorothy Walls: I know with today’s craziness with pandemic sometimes people do things out of fear they wouldn’t normally do, but to do it to a child is unprofessional and unforgivable. When a three year old has been tested for Covid to verify he does not have Covid and told he has allergies by his doctor and is not contagious. This is relayed to owner who embarrassing the mother in front of everyone and asks her to leave even though she tells them she can verify with doctor. Did I mention this child has been going here for eight weeks, so no stranger. So if she will do this to a regular customer imagine what she would do to a new one ☹️She insults mother and SCARES the child so so UNPROFESSIONAL . I recommend never going here after.....In response to your answer. So you cannot enter if you have a negative Covid test and are told you have severe allergies, which are similar. Good to know all kids with allergies are not welcome. As for your statement that you did not ask her to leave. I would say her saying are you asking me to leave and your response I think that would be best is asking her to leave. as far as make up classes you state in your hand book classes cannot be made up☹️
Alisa Karguth: My son has been attending Orange Easel since May. He was currently asked to leave regardless of no temperature, negative covid test and doctors note expressing he has severe allergies. The way my son and I were asked to leave was done in the most unprofessional and humiliating way possible. Instead of being pulled to the side and discussing the owners concerns we were addressed IN FRONT of the class.  I realize with all the craziness going on in the world some people are reacting out of fear and not in a positive way but terrifying and humiliating a three year old and his mother is no way to express your concerns. Learn from my mistake and do not take your children here.
Abbey Mecca: The first time I picked up my child from Orange Easel she was covered in paint from her knees down. "They let me pour paint on the ground and jump in it!" This is absolutely the art experience you want your kid to have, and you get to avoid the cleanup. Every teacher we've encountered is phenomenal and clearly loves their job. Orange Easel turned on a dime during COVID and provided so much online support for families during quarantine and we are forever grateful for it.
Stephanie Ruehter: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueWe love Orange Easel! We’ve done classes from toddlers to grade school, birthday parties, and parents day out. Everything is always amazing! My kids can’t wait for art class day, and they always love showing off their projects!
Michele Dillon: Positive:QualityWe have been attending preschool art classes at Orange Easel for 2 years. It is a wonderful place! We have also had birthday parties here. The staff is amazing and my boys always have the best time!
Ashley Aramjoo: Our 2 year old loves "art class"!
Brice Gilbert: We were there for my granddaughter's birthday party. Miss Grace kept 14 10 and under kids on track and having fun. Definitely recommend it.
Jason Nunez: My son had a blast with his family and friends. The art teacher was very nice and helpful. She made sure the kids had a great time while making sure they were safe.

Kansas City Academy: what do users think?
Sydney Bernstein: I attended Kansas City academy from 2012-2014 and was a staff member during the 2021-2022 school year. My time as a student at KCA was transformative. After a tragic death of my parent in 2010 I was struggling academically and socially in public school. I would frequently skip school due to anxiety and depression. As a sophmore I knew I would not be able to graduate at the current high school I was attending and began to look for alternative options. A family friend who was a staff member at KCA recommended I come visit the school. From the moment I stepped foot in the door I knew I wanted to join KCA’s community. As a student I was given the opportunity and freedom to explore myself in a safe space where it was okay to be yourself and make mistakes. I was offered a lot of leadership opportunities. I wanted to come to school everyday. The faculty and staff were so welcoming and encouraging. For the first time in my life I felt seen, heard, and accepted by KCA’s community. I was so sad to graduate in 2014 but I have remained a part of the community one way or another 9 years later. I recommend this school for any student or parent looking for a academic environment that is creative and accommodating.
Sage WolfeZogg: I graduated from KCA in 2015. They teach kids to be involved in their education, to explore their own interests, to endlessly ask why. We learned to think of people besides ourselves, to break problems down into manageable amounts. I was one of the students (selected by the students) who decided on community services requirements. There were students, facility, and community members involved. Even as a 15 year old I felt heard, supported, and respected.
Lauren D: Great school. Small classes. Teachers were involved with students. Had their own garden and cooking classes. Lot of fun engaging projects especially art.
mike cowger: Kansas City Academy, and the staff that makes it what it is, has been a tremendous source of support, kindness, and growth for our son, who has just completed his first school year there. In what could very well have been an incredibly difficult time the staff at KC Academy has created a wonderfully welcoming and inclusive environment where our son has (and is still!) learning how to thrive and take his own narrative with both hands and make it his own. I absolutely recommend KCA for any kiddo and family who are looking for a place to really belong.
Margaret Chaffee: Ay KCA my child feels valued and seen for all her gifts and talents. So thankful for the compassion and creativity of the staff and students.
Suzanne Raney: We love this school and its creative, kind and compassionate teachers and staff.
Amy Parker: This has been a life-altering, amazing school for my daughter. For a kid who didn't fit in with the more traditional public school setting, KCA was just the place where she could be herself. The teachers and staff are informal, approachable, VERY supportive, and maintain a quality, meaningful education. I would never have thought a school like this existed and will be forever grateful that it does. This school goes above and beyond to not only support each unique kid but help them become the best versions of themselves they can be. I truly hope KCA will always be there for students like my daughter. I am so, so glad we took a chance on KCA.-The parent of a 2022 grad
DeAnna Skedel: If there ever was a community that puts the social and emotional development of their students first, this is it.
sloane swift: This school is bad, the kids here are bad. The teachers teach horribly i didn't learn anything. The students pushed me to attempting suicide, several times. The teachers did not investigate and it was horrible.
Samsung Chromebook #17: Worst school i've ever gone too, the staff allowed other students to bully me due to my family not being able to afford the tuition. They refused us for financial aid, and allowed rumors and lies about me spread throughout the school. I got sent death threats, and became very depressed during this time. It was horrid. Please don't send your child to this school.
Avont'e foster: The Best Experience!!
Cathy Metcalf: KCA has been extremely proactive in providing our children with a top-notch experience under the current COVID-19 conditions. The teachers spent the summer learning new digital platforms to assist with their online lessons. The school created a balanced schedule for the students to be digitally engaged with their classmates and teachers daily. KCA is consistently evaluating conditions to determine when students can return to in-person classes. The online schedule was designed to seamlessly flow with the in-person schedule once students can return to campus. We have the utmost confidence in the leadership and faculty at KCA and we know that our children are receiving the best education possible to prepare them for their futures!
Annette Wallace: Love this school! My child struggled last year as a Freshman. This year they transferred to KCA! So far the improvement has been phenomenal! So grateful for the wonderful, involved staff!
Amber DeAngelo: The best, creative, accepting, supportive school in town!
AUTO MART USA: GOOD ACADMY
Cooper Enochs: Gotta say gotta say it is relatively EPIC???? YES EPIC!!!!! Ooguns boogus
Kristine Ennis: KCA is such a Fabulous learning environment . Their curriculum and staff engage the students and the safe and welcoming environment allows for a superior education to develop. I highly recommend this wonderful, community based, small school. We had multiple years at Catholic schools and by far KCA is the best!!! We only wish we had discovered it sooner.
Aisling Crowe: KC Academy has helped my daughter be more confident. She is encouraged to think for herself here. The teachers at KC Academy are supportive and inspiring. So happy we found this unique school.
Jeff Weis: KCA has been a wonderful fit for my son since sixth grade.
Brennan G: I am a KCA graduate of 2001. This school was a great influence on how to manage my life responsibly. The teachers were the best. I loved my experience here. After graduating I moved to Los Angeles, finished college and I'm now an television editor for NBC Universal. Thanks KCA.

Art Experience Virtual Paint Classes: what do users think?
KC paint art: Menerima berbagai macam repaint
Amy Knapp: We booked a painting class for my Dads birthday this month and had SO much fun here. Richard was amazing and made even the most artistically challenged people (like myself) feel like a pro. The atmosphere was super laid back and fun and they plenty of time for wine and snack breaks throughout the session :). Richard also won some bonus points for letting us raincheck on two tickets. We were supposed to have 7 ppl at the class and 2 were unable to attend last minute. We fully intended to eat the ticket prices since they reserved those 2 seats for us, but he was super understanding of the last minute change and put the two tickets back on a giftcard for us without us even asking. It was such a great experience and we will definitely be back!
Elaine LaFoe: I had some friends come to town for a few days and we made reservations with Richard to do a painting. I am so glad we did as my friends said that it was the highlight of their trip. First, I wrote the wrong date on my calendar so Rich had to show up two nights in a row for us. None of us could not even draw a stick person so he had his work cut out for him. He was so patient with us and gave us so much help. Not only that but he made it so much fun! I highly recommend painting with Rich.
Kelly Berry: This class was absolutely AMAZING! My fiancee and I share the same birthday and wanted something new and fun to do on our special day. It was a very personalized session with wonderful teaching by Rich! Highly recommend this to everyone and we are definitely planning on attending another!
Alina Sinha: Our instructor Rich was amazing. My daughter and I came in at 6:30pm for his class and he let us choose whatever we wanted to paint. He patiently waited for us until we were happy with our painting at 10:30pm(on a Friday night), unlike most places where you are rushed out. He was also very helpful when we needed an artistic eye as neither my daughter or I are artists. All in all it was a night well spent!!!
Mary Ann: Richard & Michelle are incredible. We had a fantastic time hosting my sister’s bachelorette party there. Richard and Michelle are very personable, professional, and open to new ideas. We are so thankful they were able to accommodate our request & work with us. Highly recommend hosting gatherings/parties there or attending classes there.....I can’t wait to go back!
Tim Eicherl: I would highly recommend visiting Art Experience when in KC. Richard and Michelle do a wonderful job accommodating their guests and have an "art" of instructing others. They are both very good at what they do. The studio is very welcoming and the atmosphere sets the scene for a great time. We had an incredible experience and cant wait to go back again for round 2. Thank you. Richard and Michelle!
Maggie Holt: Signed up for a Monday night class, and it was just Rich (the instructor), myself, and my friend. We picked a painting, but made some fun modifications. The whole time we were just joking around, having fun.If you're going in a small group (2 or 3 people), I think having that custom experience is really awesome. But if you're in a large group (especially with strangers), I wouldn't request anything extra -- at that point you're just adding time onto the experience. This is a great place!
Caleb Bonderer: We had Rich for our class and he was absolutely amazing. He stayed late to make sure at finished our paintings, helped us customize them, and was supportive and helpful throughout the entire experience.
Tyler Jonathan: Amazing first experience! Walked me through how to draw and paint a t rex! Turned out amazing. Used skills i didnt think i had. Techniques and tips were given throughtout the entire session. I went with my mom, most certainly coming back with my significant other!

Wee Create: what do users think?
Natalie Keating: We used WeeCreateArt studio for my daughter’s 4th birthday party and it was amazing! Amy is so great. Set up was so quick, you only really need to bring in treats/snacks and drinks and she does the rest!! The girls had an absolute blast with the “adopt a pet theme”.
Lindsey Drake: We had an amazing experience Amy was so kind and made everything run so smoothly! The kids had a blast!
Brianna Gipple: We had a wonderful experience for my daughter’s 7th birthday party. There were many stations, a great combination of free play and instructor-led activities, and the staff was all great!
Jennifer Davis: It was a great party for my 5 year old. They had several activities planned where kids could move between, it was great. Everyone had a good time!
Bartosz Grobelny: Great projects and occupied kids of different ages well (4 and almost 9).
Carolyn Law: The space, the creative art experiences, and the staff make this place top notch! Highly recommend Wee Create!
Joanna Corkran: My son had an amazing birthday party! We had a wonderful host and the party went so smoothly! What an awesome place for parties!
Melissa Javellana: We had our daughter’s fourth birthday party here and she had a great time. It is a good mix of free play activities and the structured craft of your choice. Rachel, the teacher, was great with helping/encouraging the kids.
Marcus Rhodes: Absolutely love this place. They are so helpful and accommodating. Will definitely use them again. SOOOOOO FUN!!!!!
Lance zimmerman: Our 8 year old went with friends over Easter break and came home with darling items! She had a blast creating and spending time with friends!
Liz Fisher: Amazing experience for my 5 year olds birthday party! The staff was great, so friendly and the space is amazing!
Lauren Boyd: Loved celebrating our daughter's birthday with Wee Create. There were several creative, themed stations set up for guest arrival, the main activity was perfect, and Amy was always two steps ahead of me in anticipating our needs for the day. Best part may have been that the mess stayed at the studio, and we came home with a sweet craft. Thank you! Can't wait to return for camps and classes.
Lauren Lueck: We love Wee Create! We learned about them, went to an Open Studio and fell in love! The space is so warm and inviting, everything is kid-sized and reachable, there are so many simple and fun activities built into the space and Amy and her team are so talented. Not only at creating art, but helping kids feel safe to use their imagination and be creative! We held our daughter’s 4th Birthday Party there and it was absolutely fantastic. All the kids had a blast and are so proud of what they created! Everyone with kiddos should check it out!
