The Tipsy Red Fox: what do users think?
Jamie Lee: Had a great time with my sorors and Dimitri was great! So personable and funny. Definitely recommend for a small group but he has capabilities for a bigger groups.
Jennifer Golden Huset: Dimitri was PHENOMENAL with the girls!!! We went for a team bonding and it couldn't have been better! If you're in KC I Highly recommend This Place! -Becky
Ericka Stansbury: Went for a bachelorette party and had a great time! I enjoyed the vibe and the host was very charismatic. I would definitely come back!
Chloe Kampe: The class was fun and the price was reasonable. Dmitri was fun to be around and was willing to help if a person was struggling. To be honest it was off putting that his studio was in his apartment. Parking to get here is also questionable— you have to parallel park. You must call to be let in. When we called he seemed snappy about needing to be let in.However, he tailors your experience to your group. He is open and honest. It was a good experience but it was a little awkward at first since it’s in his house.Overall we left with cute paintings and a good experience.
Giovanni Mack: Very coo people and it’s a great experience for family’s if you guys want to do something together. They Will help you along the way with your painting and teach you a lot of different things about painting. Recommend to try it out!
Camron Morris: I loved it,it was a lote of fun, good energy lovvvvvee it.
Jamie Miller: We had a great time with Dimitri. We had a group ages 5-70 and he was so patient. We had a great time!!!!
Johnetta Wright: Highly recommend good for date nights...owner very professional and friendly!!!
Ian Thompson: Dimitri is an amazing teacher and such and awesome person. His class was a great experience and I love the art that I took home. So cool for him to welcome people into his home and use his personal time to do what he loves with us.
Zee Gray-Robinson: Had a wonderful time as usual. Super cool dude and talented by the way!
Darian Izeta: Fun and entertaining!
Elijah Boyer: Amazing !
Shymika Medeiros: LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Had the best time. Mr Pink was funny and very helpful for my non artistic brain. My husband and I laughed, joked, played games, and painted of course. Dimitri was great and I'm sure we will be attending another session. Great date night, great laughs with an awesome artist. Thanks for the exciting night Dimitri!
Mandy George: I booked with Demitri for my birthday with all of my girls. We all had a blast!! He was very professional, fun, energetic and pretty funny! Made the night even more fun! He even had fun games and jokes to keep it intersting. I would highly reccomend him for your painting parties!
Katy Cox: Dimitri was very interactive and personable! Such a fun time!! Definitely booking another party! Thanks for a good time!
Jan Dvorak: We had a great time with Dimitri! He made everyone feel comfortable, no matter the skill level. Lots of laughs while painting. Would recommend this as a good choice for a fun time!
David Field: This is a great activity for men and women of all skill levels (or lack of skill in my case). I had a great time even as someone who has not painted before. Dimitri Joseph Pink is an awesome guide through the process. He is somewhere between Bob Ross and Gordon Ramsey. I would recommend to anyone and will be going again.
Aalliayah Barnes: This was our first wine and paint session and it was absolutely amazing! Dimitri was extremely personable and made us feel “at home”. He helped us throughout the entire process, whenever needed, instead of leaving us with no assistance!I really enjoy that his classes are more intimate than most wine and paint businesses, so if this is the type of session you would like, Tipsy Red Fox is the place to book with ! You will be more than pleased with your visit!
Jakada Haymon: Great time, Dimitri lived up to the hype. Great communicator, let us come early and did a great job entertaining. We went with there for our anniversary and I'll send the wife back with friends.
Latoya Buckner: Dimitri was AWSOME. Did a paint and sip with my ladies for my birthday and everything went really well. He makes you feel comfortable with painting and is very helpful when you need help or have questions. He was very professional, but also knew how to have fun. He kept us laughing the whole night. Great experience and I loved my painting.
Abbey Underwood: Dimitri is amazing!! Definitely will be back 😊😊

Belger Arts Center: what do users think?
Anne Moberg: This Belger art gallery is tucked away on Walnut Street. Mo provides a personal tour of the exhibit which really enhances the experience. A related gallery, Belger Crane Yard Clay, is on Tracy Street

Bracken Rourke: Personal tour by Moe. Awesome gallery.
Shá D.: Very rustic and quaint spot! Beautiful art and the curator/host was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Sarah Ford: The staff here is friendly. We took a pottery class and they were fun instructors with no judgement for different skill level. They really enjoyed helping us. Parking was a bit sketch but luckily we came as a bachelorette party so there was more safety in numbers.
Shaddy D: We took a one day class and paid for shipping for our pottery since we live far from them. It’s been 2 months but still haven’t received them. They don’t return our calls or email inquiries either. We hope they contact us soon.

Great for testing your sculpting skills and bringing back your inner child. The staff does a fantastic job bringing life to the whole room. The experience is so refreshing! Space is limited, so book your reservations early. Don't miss out on this night of pure enjoyment!

KC Clay Guild: what do users think?
Randy Nevens: Classes, sales, kids camp... all fun stuff!
Randall Vasquez: A very meditative activity
Haley Jester Mott: This studio is great! The people that use it and run it are very welcoming and willing to share their vast knowledge, whether you are a beginner or an expert. It is affordable and accessible.
Breanna Moak: Great classes with a variety of instructors.
Karl Rose: It was full of clay. Started crowded when were by last time, then it got much better. It can be crowded , but not always.
Kate Blythe: I had such a fun time with a friend at a Sunday evening beginner wheel throwing class! I can’t wait to come back and learn some more. This is an awesome organization in Kansas City!
Sammy Dewey: It was amazing! So fun to be hands on and make something with the clay. Be warned, unless you are going there for a class, it's kind of a free for all. I would recommend going with someone who's been there before or going to the class first. It can be intimidating at first but it's very therapeutic!
Futuristic Foggywatch: Great place. Reasonable prices.
William Laws: The Raku pottery night was so much fun. Great to learn and watch the kilns. Beer and food were great. Super fun atmosphere and people.
Carrie Junot: The classes are great for kids.
John Devaney: Granddaughters attended Kids Clay Camp last week. They had a blast and produced a lot of colorful ceramic projects. Ms. April was their teacher and clearly had experience working with kids. Grandkids leave out of town but are already planning to come again next summer.
S G: I signed up for the 4 week Saturday class and ended up walking out after an hour of the first class in sheer frustration. First of all, due to snow closures and the way their sale days fell, the June class STARTED the second Saturday rather than the first. Apparently 2 people showed up the first Saturday anyway so those of us who actually showed up to the first class as we were told to were targeted as NOT SHOWING UP TO THE FIRST CLASS. The instructor then repeatedly told us we had to move at LIGHTNING SPEED to catch up because we were way behind. There was absolutely no instruction, demonstration or even an example or explanation of what we were making, but we had to move at lightning speed to do it. There weren't enough materials for the class. There was 1 PATTERN and 2 RULERS for 5 students so we were waiting on everything and then barked at for being too slow. There also weren't enough boards to put the slabs on. Heaven forbid we didn't do everything EXACTLY as the instructor wanted us to as if we could read his mind and had been doing this for 40 years. I genuinely thought he was going to go off.I finally just walked out. I took this class (that's open to BEGINNERS) to LEARN a fun, creative and relaxing hobby, not to be barked at by an angry old man who can't teach, has ZERO patience and clearly didn't want to be there.
Tressa Roecker: Welcoming, friendly people. Great for any skill level.
Michelle Binicewicz: What a wonderful escape from the mundane routine of the day to day responsibilities. A Friend asked me to go with and having no experience I didn't have many expectations. We paid $5 each and $5 for 25lbs of clay, which was more than enough! It was so much fun to explore the feeling of clay spinning in my hands and transforming into random shapes!! The Staff/Volunteers were very helpful and knowledgeable. My favorite part of this new experience was watching 'seasoned' clay masters zone into their work...it was so relaxing just watching them. There were familes with their kids and older people with their grandchildren who came to just have fun and create. Truly a Beautiful experience!
Sara MacLeod: This is my happy place! Great people and low key welcoming atmosphere. All skill levels are welcome
Karren Deibler: Learn from one of the awesome teachers.
Justin Elderbaum: Took the late night Sunday one time class, we had so much fun and the instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful
Christopher Draven: I’ve fallen in love with this place!Complete beginners should start here. The classes are geared towards the community, the resources are often communal (saving you from spending tons of money on tools unless you want to), and the prices are great!I’ve learned so much about clay and ceramics by attending a weekly class. My instructor is helpful and available when I need assistance.Throwing, trimming, and glazing my little pots has been a blast! Also, there are blocks of “open studio time” that one can reserve. There are smart COVID protocols in place, and masks are worn at all times by everyone in the building.Great organization! Can’t recommend highly enough.
Cole Myers: Very talented group of artists. I have always enjoyed their exhibitions and highly recommend a visit!
Anastasia Huggins: We took the Sunday night, 3 hour class and it was amazing! I'm planning on signing up for more classes :)
Linda Callahan: Awesome!

Art Experience Virtual Paint Classes: what do users think?
KC paint art: Menerima berbagai macam repaint
Amy Knapp: We booked a painting class for my Dads birthday this month and had SO much fun here. Richard was amazing and made even the most artistically challenged people (like myself) feel like a pro. The atmosphere was super laid back and fun and they plenty of time for wine and snack breaks throughout the session :). Richard also won some bonus points for letting us raincheck on two tickets. We were supposed to have 7 ppl at the class and 2 were unable to attend last minute. We fully intended to eat the ticket prices since they reserved those 2 seats for us, but he was super understanding of the last minute change and put the two tickets back on a giftcard for us without us even asking. It was such a great experience and we will definitely be back!
Elaine LaFoe: I had some friends come to town for a few days and we made reservations with Richard to do a painting. I am so glad we did as my friends said that it was the highlight of their trip. First, I wrote the wrong date on my calendar so Rich had to show up two nights in a row for us. None of us could not even draw a stick person so he had his work cut out for him. He was so patient with us and gave us so much help. Not only that but he made it so much fun! I highly recommend painting with Rich.
Kelly Berry: This class was absolutely AMAZING! My fiancee and I share the same birthday and wanted something new and fun to do on our special day. It was a very personalized session with wonderful teaching by Rich! Highly recommend this to everyone and we are definitely planning on attending another!
Alina Sinha: Our instructor Rich was amazing. My daughter and I came in at 6:30pm for his class and he let us choose whatever we wanted to paint. He patiently waited for us until we were happy with our painting at 10:30pm(on a Friday night), unlike most places where you are rushed out. He was also very helpful when we needed an artistic eye as neither my daughter or I are artists. All in all it was a night well spent!!!
Mary Ann: Richard & Michelle are incredible. We had a fantastic time hosting my sister’s bachelorette party there. Richard and Michelle are very personable, professional, and open to new ideas. We are so thankful they were able to accommodate our request & work with us. Highly recommend hosting gatherings/parties there or attending classes there.....I can’t wait to go back!
Tim Eicherl: I would highly recommend visiting Art Experience when in KC. Richard and Michelle do a wonderful job accommodating their guests and have an "art" of instructing others. They are both very good at what they do. The studio is very welcoming and the atmosphere sets the scene for a great time. We had an incredible experience and cant wait to go back again for round 2. Thank you. Richard and Michelle!
Maggie Holt: Signed up for a Monday night class, and it was just Rich (the instructor), myself, and my friend. We picked a painting, but made some fun modifications. The whole time we were just joking around, having fun.If you're going in a small group (2 or 3 people), I think having that custom experience is really awesome. But if you're in a large group (especially with strangers), I wouldn't request anything extra -- at that point you're just adding time onto the experience. This is a great place!
Caleb Bonderer: We had Rich for our class and he was absolutely amazing. He stayed late to make sure at finished our paintings, helped us customize them, and was supportive and helpful throughout the entire experience.
Tyler Jonathan: Amazing first experience! Walked me through how to draw and paint a t rex! Turned out amazing. Used skills i didnt think i had. Techniques and tips were given throughtout the entire session. I went with my mom, most certainly coming back with my significant other!

Orange Easel School of Art: what do users think?
Lindsay Quinn: Just went to a birthday party here, and LOVED it! What a magical place to bring your family!
Sarah Shields: My grandson had his first art class today and it was super fun. Cute little room with different stations set up. Teacher was very nice and so was lady at the front desk.
valerie walden: We hosted my 7 year old's birthday here and the experience was top notch! Miss Grace was wonderful with the kids, she took care of everything all we had to do was show up with cupcakes. The kids all had a blast at their splatter paint party. Best party I've ever hosted cause it was absolutely stress free for me. Cannot recommend enough!
Talia J: Have had both children’s birthday parties here numerous times and they never disappoint. Definitely recommend!
Amie Francois: Wonderful place! My kids love going here for art classes. Highly recommend!
Amanda Ronkoski: My daughter was never interested in sports or other team activities. She's always been creative and Orange Easel gives her that creative outlet. Art is her sport! Every instructor is so kind, knowledgeable and patient. My daughter still looks forward to class every week and this is her third year. The staff is super accommodating, even allowing us to do one on one make up classes on several occasions. You will not find a more understanding and caring group of educators! Thank you for making my child feel like she belongs!
Ashley Welch: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueWe LOVE this place and all the staff! They always go above and beyond to make my children feel welcome and comfortable! They value relationships and joy!
Jodie Moore: We love all the classes at Orange Easel and all the teachers! We attended Preschool classes for two years. My daughter loves how the stories they read are brought to life with the art being tied into it each week. We aren't attending this semester due to us distancing at home (ugh, Covid) but are really happy to hear about all of the precautions being taken as it makes us feel comfortable about signing up again. I have framed artwork she has created in our home- so it's saved some money on home decor too! We usually purchase a whole semester to take advantage of the discount.
Heather Coleman: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Justin Friedl: My daughter has been attending orange easel classes for nearly 2 years. Every class she has been in she has enjoyed, not only the subject but the teachers. All of our interactions have been positive and the owner and teachers have gone out of their way to accommodate us when something comes up.We’ve stayed in the main area for most of the classes and can hear the teachers going through the class and they’ve all done wonderful in keeping the class on track while ensuring the kids have fun and can express themselves. Then the pandemic hit and Orange Easel really shone by how they made changes to their format and curriculum. They continue to look for ways to ensure as many kids as possible can do what they love doing. Not to mention their parties - those are always a great times and the kids have had a blast at every single one !
Jenna tate: My daughter began taking a class at Orange Easel. We missed the first class. She came home her first night unsure of the class and her abilities. The other kids were ahead of her and more confident. Her teacher personally invited her to a make up session and spent time with her catching her up (and boosting her confidence!). She LOVES it at Orange Easel. Her teacher is wonderful! I highly recommend.
Dorothy Walls: I know with today’s craziness with pandemic sometimes people do things out of fear they wouldn’t normally do, but to do it to a child is unprofessional and unforgivable. When a three year old has been tested for Covid to verify he does not have Covid and told he has allergies by his doctor and is not contagious. This is relayed to owner who embarrassing the mother in front of everyone and asks her to leave even though she tells them she can verify with doctor. Did I mention this child has been going here for eight weeks, so no stranger. So if she will do this to a regular customer imagine what she would do to a new one ☹️She insults mother and SCARES the child so so UNPROFESSIONAL . I recommend never going here after.....In response to your answer. So you cannot enter if you have a negative Covid test and are told you have severe allergies, which are similar. Good to know all kids with allergies are not welcome. As for your statement that you did not ask her to leave. I would say her saying are you asking me to leave and your response I think that would be best is asking her to leave. as far as make up classes you state in your hand book classes cannot be made up☹️
Alisa Karguth: My son has been attending Orange Easel since May. He was currently asked to leave regardless of no temperature, negative covid test and doctors note expressing he has severe allergies. The way my son and I were asked to leave was done in the most unprofessional and humiliating way possible. Instead of being pulled to the side and discussing the owners concerns we were addressed IN FRONT of the class.  I realize with all the craziness going on in the world some people are reacting out of fear and not in a positive way but terrifying and humiliating a three year old and his mother is no way to express your concerns. Learn from my mistake and do not take your children here.
Abbey Mecca: The first time I picked up my child from Orange Easel she was covered in paint from her knees down. "They let me pour paint on the ground and jump in it!" This is absolutely the art experience you want your kid to have, and you get to avoid the cleanup. Every teacher we've encountered is phenomenal and clearly loves their job. Orange Easel turned on a dime during COVID and provided so much online support for families during quarantine and we are forever grateful for it.
Stephanie Ruehter: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueWe love Orange Easel! We’ve done classes from toddlers to grade school, birthday parties, and parents day out. Everything is always amazing! My kids can’t wait for art class day, and they always love showing off their projects!
Michele Dillon: Positive:QualityWe have been attending preschool art classes at Orange Easel for 2 years. It is a wonderful place! We have also had birthday parties here. The staff is amazing and my boys always have the best time!
Ashley Aramjoo: Our 2 year old loves "art class"!
Brice Gilbert: We were there for my granddaughter's birthday party. Miss Grace kept 14 10 and under kids on track and having fun. Definitely recommend it.
Jason Nunez: My son had a blast with his family and friends. The art teacher was very nice and helpful. She made sure the kids had a great time while making sure they were safe.

Driftwood Ceramics: what do users think?
Martha Tillmon: Update 2023: We all went back for a wheel throwing class! McKenzie had all the patience in the world, teaching us how to use the wheel, and because of that, we all ended up with awesome pieces. Again cannot wait to see them all completely finished!2022: Took my nieces (and their moms 😊) to a kid hand-building class. McKenzie made it super easy, and the girls had so much fun! We loved it and are already planning to come back for another class! Can't wait to see our finished products!
jonathan bogaard: Great instructors made it interesting, fun, and easy to learn. Highly recommend a class!
Joanie Feather: Our group of 9 had a blast! McKenzie is a fun (and very patient!) instructor. I can't wait to see our finished pieces! Thanks, Driftwood Ceramics!
Margaret Crite: I went here with a group of friends. We had the place to ourselves. The instructor was fantastic she was comfortable teaching allll of us - some were really bad at it. She was patient and confident! I’ve been really wanting to go back because it was such a fun time!
Robin Reece: Great group activity!
Colin: Had a perfect date night with my girlfriend at Driftwood’s Pots & Pints event that happens every Friday and Saturday at 7p. There was a mix of people at the event, so don’t be afraid to bring a friend or family member as well! You can BYOB to calm the nerves if it’s your first time spinning pottery. My girlfriend and I both found the instructors to be very kind and helpful. The quality of the instructors definitely showed in our work, which turned out very well. The best part is the instructors handled clean-up and will glaze and fire the pots for us, which we pick up after about 4 weeks. We both want to take a class now because we had so much fun. I would highly recommend visiting Driftwood!
Alicia Jefferson: We had a great time at the Pots&Pints! Such a fun group and patient instructor, Joy! I do, however think the ticket price is a bit steep for the allotted time. The tickets state 7pm-9pm, but we were completely done and cleaned up by 8:15pm. That was a little disappointing, but still such a great experience!
Tori Hoffman: My wife and I took a “Pots and Pints” class here yesterday with some friends and we had a blast! Mckenzie was an awesome teacher and made the class so fun. The small class sizes ensured she could make it around to help everyone individually. 10/10 recommend and will be going again!
Kayla Asher: Attended the valentines class & had the BEST time! Emma is such an amazing instructor!! She is so helpful, informative, and patient. Would highly recommend any class they are offering.
Alyssia Goodwin: I have taken multiple classes at Driftwood and every time it was a great experience to be able to learn coming in with no experience my first session on the wheel, to be able to have the space to learn, create and try something new! I could not reccomend more sigining up for a class or a date night or some activity with Driftwood!
Megan Romer: We had a fun and engaging class with Emma last night. She was helpful and informative without being overbearing or condescending and just seemed to be generally having a good time. It was a neat experience being able to throw on pottery wheels.
Leah Lambart: Fun studio space for learning about and exploring Clay. We did a hand modeling class which was so much fun. It's amazing how Clay acts and how you can manipulate it. They also have wheel classes and the availability to rent a shelf which comes with studio time. If I had more free time I'd be here more often!
dmscrivner: McKenzie was an amazing guide through a first time throwing session. My wife and I had literally never tried throwing clay and were able to successfully make a cup and a bowl with her instruction. It makes for a wonderful date with your spouse.
L A: Sooo awesome. My husband and I went for our 8 year anniversary. We took a private a class. So much fun! I will definitely be back. Thank you!
katelin quanbeck-hollowell: My husband and I did a 'Pots and Pints' date night class here and loved it! I feel like I learned some good tips for throwing on a wheel and we can't wait to see what the finished products look like! Definitely would recommend checking Driftwood out :)
Liz Wilkerson: HIGHLY recommend! I took my mom to a Pots & Pints class and it was a blast. It's a smaller class which allows McKenzie (shop owner/teacher) to really focus on each person. She was an excellent teacher and if you happen to mess up a little, she provides great feedback on how to fix it. She was really fun, had great music going, and overall it was an incredible experience. Perfect for a date night, girls night, or just something fun to do! Go NOW!
Tom Stanley: Driftwood Ceramics is the best spot to get your artistic juices flowing with your friends! Book a birthday party, date night, family outing, or just cause. McKenzie is the best teacher - she'll make sure you walk away with a great piece!
Abigail Williams: 10 out of 10 would recommend. I had been wanting to take a pottery class, since the last time was back in high school. So my boyfriend and I went here and had the best time!! McKenzie lead the class and was so lovely. So patient and was very encouraging. Oh and NOT only can you create your own piece of art ,but there so many amazing pieces to buy. Anyone looking for a little adventure needs to look into Driftwood Ceramics. ♥️So much fun!!
Brook Campbell: Had the best time at the Pots & Pints class! McKenzie is a great teacher, and just makes the whole experience so much fun! Will absolutely go back!
Lisa Bridge: Amazing place! Had an awesome time at Pots n Pints class for our birthdays! Definitely reccomend!
Chris Truong: Had a great time here! McKenzie was great! Perfect spot for a date night!

Parkville Artisans' Studio: what do users think?
Kate McDonald: This place is a SCAM! Paid in advance 2 months ahead of time for a group of 10 for an adult birthday party, all of us showed up on time, place closed. No one there, lights out, door locked, no one answering phone, tried email. All 10 of us left out in the cold. 3 of us went next door to candle shop to see if they knew what was going on. When we told her no one at studio was there for our scheduled time, candle store owner lowered her head and said "oh no, not again!" She then proceeded to tell us that it has happened so many times she usually invites the disappointed pottery customers to make candles in her shop instead, but that day she didn't have enough supplies for our large group. Best part is, pottery owner won't return phone calls or emails for our refund, reported her to BBB and our credit card company for fraud. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!!
Erin Pickell: It’d be awesome if they were ever open when their sign says they will be. We’ve made 2 trips to downtown Parkville specifically to come to this place and they aren’t open. The owner never seems to be there when they are open. We made pots months ago that we have still not gotten word about if they’ve been fired. If you aren’t going to run your business like a business then leave so another shop can use the space. And for the record it’s called GLAZE, not paint.
Jianyu Zhu: I’m the boyfriend…still no pottery. They never answer the phone call
Lorenda Sumpter: I was so excited to see this place and spontaneously paint a piece of pottery. My boyfriend and I both painted and waited the 3 weeks for pick up. We called to see if we could pick up, a little after the 3 week wait, to find out our pieces haven’t been fired yet. We have called 3 times since then, and we are going on 7 weeks without them. What a bummer.
Kristy Robinson: There are so many fun pieces to look at and explore!
Heather J: My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed taking private lessons with Tricia. We have now found a new activity to enjoy together, throwing clay on the potty wheel. Great teacher and a laid back environment.
Samantha Zeigler: Tricia really loves what she does here and makes the classes fun and exciting. I love her energy and this place! Great to bring your little ones for some summer fun.
Diane Louise Baker: The staff here are helpful and friendly. As for delivery I am less than impressed. We originally booked a pottery class that is supposed to have 10 students. When we arrived there were only four wheels , we were lucky that the others were a no show. We paid $35 per person for a tiny piece of clay and made our bowls. Were were told to come back in two weeks and glaze. All was good till we glazed and tried to collect a week and two days later. I called the day before attempted collection and confirmed that our pieces would be there and ready to collect. The next day we went in and tried to collect only to find that the pieces were not in and that Trisha would only be in with them after 1pm. The expectation was that the pieces would be in store for collection at opening and not sometime in the afternoon. Really dissatisfied with this place. We paid a total of $140 for this experience and it wasn’t worth it for the lack of service delivery, the tiny little bit of clay we were given for the class and the lack of communication amongst the staff working there.
Mallory Clutts: My friends and I took the clay sculpture basics class and had a blast! We can’t wait to come back and finish our pieces. Will definitely look into trying out other classes as well!
Madison Wixon: Parkville Artisan's studio is a stunning step away from the day to day. Tricia is absolutely excellent with adults and children alike. From the novice to the experienced, she knows just how to work with you and help you achieve your goals and make you happy with whatever piece you are creating! I will always reccomend this incredible small business to anyone and everyone I know. Thank you for everything you do, Tricia! We love your spark and talent, and your ability to fit a day long course into a short hour!
Anita Belmore Wixon: Parkville Artisan's Studio is an oasis for me! When I walk through the doors I feel like the world just drops away from me! Tricia us the best instructor for my pottery and painting aspirations! She actually makes ME make my artistic decisions and choices while guiding me. Thank you!
Kathy Arnold: Very disappointed, in this class and how the pottery and paint turned out. The paint was too splochy still seeing the unpainted pottery underneath. This class is for children only not for anyone wanting to really learn. She doesn't really teach much and kind of finishes your pottery for you.
Wendy Landry: Trish is so fun to take painting and pottery classes with. Her energetic enthusiasm can help any newbie artist feel like they can create anything! Love this place.
Cristie Sharpsteen: Love this place. The amazing handmade dishes I purchased are frequently complimented and among my favorite things.
Randi Struxness: Lovely unique creations by local artists! I made 2 spontaneous purchases ... happy shopper! 👍👍
Marty B: This site great place to learn the basic skills on the Potters wheel, however it does not cater to those who wish to advance.

AR Workshop Kansas City North: what do users think?
Cody Truitt: Got a really cool bag here and the staff was super nice. Definitely look forward to signing up for a class!
Audrey Blacklock: Outstanding time at this workshop! Had a team building event for work and we had so much fun!! The instructor was amazing and the finished products were such high quality! Highly, highly recommend and we will be back for sure!
Rebecca B: I did a DIY Saturday workshop with a friend and was impressed by the attention to detail during the process and professional final product. I have gone to a similar workshop with a different company and AR Workshop KC North was hands down above and beyond the competition. Can't wait to return.
Katie Jackson: DO NOT GO during there "walk in" workshops . It's a cluster. Two employees for 30+ people. It was awful.*Edited*I am upgrading the review to three stars. They do have a really cute store and lots of fun stencils to choose from. I will return to make other cute options. I will be making an appointment from now on to ensure we have some one on one guidance. I do recommend trying them. Given the recent circumstances with the pandemic and all I understand the short staff. I amend my previous review as it warrants it.
Megan Micek: Absolutely the best! We had a great experience and will be back
Stacy A: So much fun making the chunky knit blanket at the workshop! Jennifer was super helpful and patient so appreciative for the extra time and attention to detail. The retail space of home decor is so welcoming, I could have bought alot for my home! Definitely will be back for another DIY project!
Rebecca Graham: Great date night spot!
Debbie Stevens: Amazing experience! Relaxed and fun.
Karla Kopp: So much fun!
Jennifer Smith: Such a fun place to have a girls night out! We had the absolute best time
Jessica Zollmann: Such a great time. We will definitely e having another girl's night there.
Shannah Mcgee: Love, Love, Love this place!!! And Jennifer is awesome!! I enjoyed making chunky knit pumpkins and loved how quickly she put together the DIY to-go projects for a fun little escape from the quarantine. And the cute retail items her store offers come from local crafters- Go KC!!! Please visit when you can!
Denice M: I had a private fundraiser event at Jennifers AR workshop and it was great. Everybody had a good time and brought home quality projects. I also made money for my organization. Thank you so much Jennifer we had a great time!Denice Morrison AORN greater Kansas City
Shea R.: This place was a blast! My daughter (9y/o) and I went for a company outing and had so much fun! They have a ton of different crafts to choose from & very helpful employees. Jennifer was the best, helping us perfect our crafts & was super sweet throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend this place for friends, family, & company outings. My daughter & I will definitely be back!
Jordan H.: This place was a blast. We had a work event for our company and it was so fun to be able to walk around and see what everyone was making, as it was all different. There are a ton of options to choose from and they're all rather easy with the help of the staff even for beginners! It's a unique out of the box concept and I'm so glad it's in the Northland now. It gives something to do inside if the weather is bad and you get to take home your project that same day. The staff was great and the atmosphere was super laid back and the space had some really cute stuff for sale too. This is a fun place for anyone to visit, from family events to company gatherings to just a girls/guys night out. I highly recommend! Thanks Jennifer for such a great time.
Mandy H: We had a great time at AR Workshop Northland with our group from work. Excellent variety of projects to choose from. Great atmosphere, lots of hands-on help and instruction as needed. Jennifer and her team genuinely want everyone to have a good time and take home a project they can be proud of. Can’t wait to come back and make more!
Rita Foxworthy: I went for a class today and totally enjoyed making my own porch sign. The place is organized and the owner and help were great!! Very helpful and considerate. Loved it!!! Daytime and evening classes. Check it out!! Make great presents.

323CLAY: what do users think?
Katherine Venyard: I purchased 2 tickets to a class as part of my daughter's birthday. My daughter ended up with the stomach flu and we couldn't make the class. I asked to reschedule and was told no. I asked for a refund and got no response. There's nothing on their website or in the email receipt that mentions a cancelation or reschedule policy. Be ware if you can't attend a class, you won't be able to reschedule and they won't refund you, even partially. My next step is filing a complaint with the BBB.
Steven Potter: I started with a "sample" class in August. If you're like me, it's a great place to "get your hands dirty" and try it out without a huge investment.I then signed up for a full month of classes in October. Other than my sample class, I had never taken a pottery class and really have very little aptitude for fine arts or crafting. My work is poor, but the instructors are wonderful. I've had classes taught by David, Johnnie, and Michael. Each have taught me something new and a different way to approach pottery. All three are encouraging and patient.I love the community we have during the classes. I'm very appreciative of the patience I'm learning. For me it is about learning something new, being in the moment, and meeting new people. Although there are (what I'd consider) accomplished artists in my class, everyone is friendly, willing to share, encouraging, and all help me on my path. What more could a novice hope for?
Laura Boomgarden: The classes are so fun & the teacher is SO HELPFUL!!! I learned so much that I cannot wait to go back again!
T Vogel: Took a sample class and had a great time!! Failed then failed some more but got several pieces by the end of the class. Very much worth the price of the class! If you’re thinking of it you should definitely go!!
diana H: David is a great teacher. He was very patient with all of us and had to help some of us do the same thing over and over. I had a great time and I think everybody else in the class did as well.
mike householder: Took the beginner class, well taught with personal instruction when needed. Great value and an awesome way to spend an evening.
Cole Myers: Amazing group of artists and stunning facility. Fun and comfortable for beginners and also a trove of nationally renowned ceramicists.
Ruben McCampbell: Looks Like a Neat Place just Walked By & Looked In 💪👏✌😎😀!!
Anthony Yannotta: We did a class for our 9th anniversary. Our instructor was the proprietor. He performed a demo for us and then set us loose. I've gotta say, this was such a great experience! He took the time to help us get started and continued to be available as we worked through our first few pieces. He was super personable and we ordered a pizza and hung out during class. Highly recommend. We will be back.
Kris McGee: Had my wife's birthday party at 323Clay. It was incredible!! Far exceeded our expectations. Our host and teacher Brian Morgenlander killed it. Perfect balance of helpful instruction and tons of freedom - loved interacting with him. It was a blast. We were able to bring in food and drink which added a nice touch to the party. I think we even made some pottery pieces that are worth keeping!!
darlene wright: We did have a late start getting into the party but the birthday girl said it was a birth best birthday she ever had this is an awesome place to have a birthday party and I’ll probably be going there on a regular basis to learn pottery I was very very impressed they were very professional and they can teach anybody asked to see if you don’t know anything about pottery it was a wonderful time we had
Virginia Bergbigler: My gf took me for my birthday. The teacher/ owner David was so kind to us three. We went to the Thursday night try out class. We each made three pieces. We can’t wait to go back after they are fired and paint them. We laughed and felt creative. One of my best birthdays.
George Chrisman: Great place to work in clay. Options of firing cone 6-10 gas or electric. Fun people lots of knowledge and all are helpful
Patti Hickman: Great place to work, learn, purchase ceramics and meet new friends!
Sam Squirrel: Stop by 323Clay for a wide selection of handmade pottery from our very own potters. We also offer classes if you want to learn a new skill like throwing on the wheel or to expand your skills with advanced instructor Steven Hill.
Steven Hill: 323 is a wonderful ceramics studio in Independence, MO. We have an great group of ceramic artists working here and we are welcoming to new studio members. Come by for a tour, to check out a class or to rent a studio.
