Troy Browne: Update...I don't usually resort to back and forths out here but....WOW, CALLING ME A LIAR.If you questioned my review before, just read the response below from the store and think about how these people are to deal with.I was with my wife when we went to the store. We specifically asked for the cinnamon decaf tea. We got home and it wasn't the right tea. It WAS my wife who brought it back NOT a friend...and they refused to own up to THEIR mistake.Original review...Rudest staff possible. She wasn't friendly when we were purchasing. Gave us the wrong tea and then basically said tough when we brought it back (unopened) to get the correct tea. Avoid this place, there are so many other options with better atomsphere and friendly people.
Finnian Kelly: Lovely shop, extensively knowledgeable staff, fantastic teas. One of my favorite little daily joys. I try something new and delicious every time. I drink the earl grey, masala chai, oolong goddess and mandarin chamomile daily.

The owner is so sweet, and she gives great recommendations if you don't know what to get. Both female and woman of color owned, Soulcentricitea is a cozy and nice place to chat with a friend over tea or grab & go. The quality of the drinks is amazing and they promote lots of local events & businesses in the area.

Boyfriend and I dropped in just to check it out, and I really adored the aesthetic, for one.The service we got was very kind and friendly, and was relatively quick.I ordered the Hibiscus Maté Terre hot tea to drink there, and boyfriend got a hot chocolate with almond milk. I also took home a one ounce tin of the Lychee black tea.The Hibiscus Maté Terre tea was amazing. The perfect mix of tart and sweet without needing any extra sweetener. It was deeply flavorful and the red-violet color was a delight to behold.The hot chocolate was nice and rich, pleasantly sweet.I just tried brewing a cup of the Lychee black tea here at home and it exceeds expectations. It's very very good, pretty flavorful without being overpowering. I haven't really found anywhere else that carries this tea.Will definitely be back in the future to try even more of the teas, and the selection of books in the front. I -love- this tea shop.

Julie Schlickelman: Definitely check out this little, almost-hidden gem! Super clean, peaceful little shop with a holistically calming feel. Very upbeat friendly service by attentive staff. A lovely place to sip your tea and read your latest book, or peruse the eclectic and fascinating library of books and zines located along the back wall near the counter. They also offer a great assortment of herbal tea blends and even local honey infused with herbs to keep you healthy! Definitely going back when I have more time to relax and truly emerse myself in the comfort and quiet on a soft cushion and forget about the outside chaos for just a bit!

Large Head Rush, small hot chocolate, and med caramel headrush with almond milk. It took 14 minutes to get to the window (2 cars ahead of me). When I got to the window the young man was obviously under the influence of something. My order was wrong. Long story short it took 3 tries and over 15 minutes to get my order. I got home, and it was still incorrect. I called and asked to speak to the manager because my drinks were wrong and the person on the phone said "So". He wouldn't get the manager and said I had been rude and he wasn't going to deal with "disparaging comments" and I would have to call back and speak to someone else.

They took especially long (15 minutes at the window for 1 drink) and then it was messy, they didn't give napkins or say sorry for the wait and it tasted much weaker than usual. This morning I ordered a regular coffee and it was so watered down I can't even drink it. Not sure what's going on with this place, used to be one of the best in the area.

mindy griffin: My friends and I have eaten lunch at Habashi House almost every Saturday since 2010. The beautiful Maisoon Habashi is always smiling when she takes our order. The food is cooked fresh and is the best Middle Eastern food I have eaten in the city. My favorite is Shawarma Hummus, House Combo with Chicken and Pita Kabob, with a side of their hot sauce.

Jennifer May: I came here on the 4th june with my son. We had to wait for a while, and two different people had come out and saw us and went back to the back. I am assuming a manager was taking care of something and was very friendly and said someone would be with me in just a moment. However the two employees that came out to make our drinks seemed moody. One of them even rolled their eyes as I went to grab us straws and then went to get them for us with Tongs. There were none of those on my side of the counter, so I was unaware and apologized. He and I both had the same drink with one difference as the amount of boba. But mine tasted like it was mixed with water there was absolutely no flavor. And even my son who downs these drinks, couldn't drink it. This was a very disappointing trip. We did not want to go back in to have One of the girls remake it in fear of how it would come out.

They have a large selection of loose Teas in bulk that I have started to try. This first one, Peace-Of-Mind, has been absolutely delicious! My favorite thing is customer service. Na- Na: I love the atmosphere of this place. It’s surrounded by so much beautiful culture. I wish they had seating on the inside although you could go sit near the front of the store. They have a ton of options, so it’s unlikely that you’ll never be satisfied. The drinks I’ve tried are alright. So far I’ve had the Mangonada, Horchata, and Strawberry Smoothie. The mangonada was not good I’d prefer if it hadn’t had the jelly things in it and had real fruit. I probably should’ve inquired further before purchasing, though. The horchata was alright I’d give it a 7/10, not as powdery as other Horchatas I’ve tried. The strawberry smoothie was good I included strawberry poppings which made it a bit more overwhelming for me personally, but my friend liked it.

I am vegetarian so I don’t get a ton of options most places, but Olive Cafe knocks it out of the park! I could eat their hummus, baba ghanoush, and falafel every day of the week and be happy. It is a dual restaurant/grocery store. I buy a lot of my tea here and they have a million great items that you either won’t find or will be 2x the price at local grocery. Lyric DeNoyer: I honestly hate being a hater but I’m still really let down by the service I received. My friends talked this place up SO highly and maybe that’s half the problem but they got my food wrong, weren’t very kind about it, hardly fixed the situation after making me wait FOREVER, and just yeah… the whole situation really turned me off. I’m sure if you eat meat you haven’t had a problem but they’re clearly less than mindful of vegetarians. I personally, would just recommend Jerusalem cafe. This just isn’t worth the disappointment. Ciera Duban: I always get the falafel wrap and it is always 10/10. Great balance of crispy falafel, fresh tomato, and cool taziki. I recently tried their hummus and pita and it is also great. I forget that a well made hummus tastes 1000x better than what you can get at the store.
