River Market Antiques: what do users think?
Nick L: Incredibly rude staff, overpriced garbage, tourist trap for rubes. To the shop owners: go ahead and post another snarky reply to this review like you do the rest, show everyone who you are.
nakiea boetger: This place is MASSIVE. Chock full of all the greatest hits from your 70s-90s childhoods at absorbent prices. Grandmas Tupperware, check. TMNT figures, check. Melamine plates, check. Floral mug sets, check! We didn’t make it all the way through, but this place literally has it all. And it’s not all insanely priced. If you know what to expect, it’s not so bad. But, prepare for flashbacks.Staff is friendly and helpful, organization is well done in most booths, and the sheer size is a treat!Put your bags in the locker! There are tight quarters and you’ll knock something over.Watch your step! If you’re walking down memory lane, you’re probably too old for a minor misstep without the consequences of back pain.
Julie Vaughn: Large, nice antique shop. Many, many booths. Well organized.
Kaiulani Prado: very very helpful employees! i found a scarf that i loved and it didn’t have a price, and they happily called the seller and got it for me! i was also greeted very nicely at the door, wonderful customer service here!
Gabriel Gonzalez: I love antique shops and consignment stores and this is one of my favorites. Four floors of all kinds of great finds and treasures. My only complaint is that some of the staff is not the friendliest. Also, I have been bringing my parents to this place for the past 8 years. Since then my elderly father has been through some health and aging issues. He has a heart condition and several old back and leg injuries. He now walks with a cane and has great difficulty with stairs. On our last visit this past Saturday 5/6/2023 my dad was able to make it from the main level to the next level up but had a very hard time. I asked a young man who was working and monitoring the second floor by the freight elevator. I asked if they could take my dad up to the next level in the elevator. He said he could not because it was not allowed. I was disappointed given the situation and my dad’s disability. I wish they would make exceptions to their rules for the elderly and disabled.
Maya Nivarthi: This is the best antique store I’ve ever been to. They have everything you could imagine and the store is really well organized, and has multiple floors. It’s a really interesting place to stop by whether you’re looking for something specific or just want a fun experience.
Rude: Tons of stuff but MASSIVELY OVERPRICED
Dani McPeek: We loved exploring in here! There’s just something magical about an antique store. We didn’t get through all of it but we will be back for more treasures ☺️
Adam Schneider: This store provided a valuable lesson, so I’m almost tempted to add another star on account of that. Overall though, the entire experience was rather creepy - for one thing, the employees were extremely in your face, and also not wearing any name tags or identification (so random people would come up to you and talk to you/follow you). There were cameras everywhere, including a sign that suggested they might even be in the bathroom. Creepy! The lesson, of course, is this: if I want to buy antiques, I’m lucky enough to be able to afford a place that caters to honest clientele like me with the ability to pay for nice things and good service. That is, a place that assumes when you walk in that you’re there to buy and not steal their overpriced junk. Those are the places I should be visiting at this point in my life. Instead, I went to this one, which is organized around setting up a panopticon to stop customers (whom they inherently distrust and seem to dislike) from stealing cheap stuff. Wouldn’t have learned that had I not stopped in!**Update: I'm actually under 40. I just have taste and self-esteem, so regardless of age I won't go to places that sell junk and/or assume I'm primarily there to steal said junk.
Tara West: Love this place!!! They are really awesome. I love that you can make offers on items.. did not know that when I went and that makes this place even better in my eyes. Can’t wait to get back there and see what new treasures I can find.
Brad Horne: Find what you are looking for! This place is huge and many things to search through. My daughter had a great time, and I was able to share stories from my childhood with her from things we stumbled upon inside.
Christina Stanley: So many floors and so many different types of collections and pieces with so many vendors
Ron Wilhelmi: This place is a pretty neat. If you haven't been there you need to check it out especially if you like antiques
Vince Wenger: Friendly experience....
Mckenzie Breedlove: One of the coolest antique stores I’ve ever been to!
Robert Lewis: It's very nice to meet now people.
Amber Clark: Love this place brings back memories when I was younger
Kemp Underwood: A whole day event... and I love it!
David Sonderberg: Just because it's old doesn't mean it's antique. Most of the stuff here is just garbage sold by spivs.
Khadijah Daniels: Loved the amount of soda advertising. Literally amazed to see the amount jam packed in there. Only disappointing factor is most of the items were more than double the price of the going market value. Last I checked River Market Antiques isn’t Mecum auctions.
L Cotton: The staff is super friendly.

Weird Stuff Antiques Kansas City MO!!!!
Justen Grindstaff: Neat place
Denise Morgan-Irish: Owner super friendly and helpful, crazy variety of stuff, definitely an enjoyable excursion into everything from A to Z, and the vibe wayyy more fun imo than the uptight antique vendors in the main West Bottoms area! Will soooo be back here next time in KC!!
Liz Martinson: Stopped in based on the reviews and I couldn’t get out of there quick enough. Felt more like a junkyard and completely disorganized. Who wants to buy items that are ripped, stained or broken? There is a difference between antiques and junk…
Kelly Crooks: It's been quite a few years since I have visited, but this place is spectacular. They possibly have everything you have always wanted!!
Russell Primeaux: Totally weird!
Trenton Singleton: Got some really unique items for really cheap very friendly staff I recommend a stop by if you're in the area!
Dave Barnhart: Pretty rad place, I’ll come here again when In the area
Shane Dang: Best place ever the coolest people you will ever meet in kc.
Rob O'Hara: My wife and I stopped by during a road trip and were not disappointed! From signage to lunchboxes, vintage electronics, and lots of toys, this place has a little bit of everything. I can't think of another store where you can find a vintage skateboard, an old coin-op helicopter ride, a gumball machine, an oversized telephone and a Halloween skull painted with gold sparkles. If you like vintage treasures and enjoy digging, this is your place. PS: Don't look too hard for the golden skull, it came home with me.
Donna Ashe: Lots of stuff, so much fun to meander through. Very nice staff.
Tim Tracy: Phone treasures everywhere I looked brought a few home too if you're looking for something unique you're probably find it there I must see if you're in Kansas City

M: Parking is $10 cashGet there at a decent time for the best parkingBe kind to the parking attendantsHad a wonderful time walking around and shopping with my mother. There's something for every one. It's set up beautifully and such a unique space. The only thing it needs is a wine bar or beer garden 😂 We will definitely return again!
Cynthia Wamboldt: First time visiting this gem in kcmo. So many beautiful and original items! My favorite is "My father's daughter " which featured one of a kind vintage clothing. Another favorite were the soy candles made by Lilly! So pretty and unique! A must see if you're in the area!

Michelle Sanders: We have been several times and each time at Good JuJu it never disappoints! It’s a perfect girls trip. This trip I purchased a chandelier and other goodies. And the nicest guy climbed the ladder and got it down just for me to look it over and helped me fold it the best we could for safe travels back to Arkansas. Then he carried down stairs for me as well. ( I wish I could remember his name. )And that’s where I met the vendor of the chandelier, Nancy. And she went above and beyond to help get a missing part to the chandelier to me. She communicated with me via text just to update me and brought me the piece to pick up the next day. And the owner even gave me some helpful diy tips. Each visit we meet the nicest people and can’t wait for our next trip to Good JuJu! Thank you again Nancy. You were the BEST!

Tamara Hudson: The ORIGINAL. Still bringing chippy crusty vintage farmhouse goodness. Great MCM. And treasure everywhere you look! MUST SEE Store in the West Bottoms. And bring a truck!
Zach Lill: They always have interesting things for sale. It is a good mix of things that are already refurbished and items that need work.
Kris: The have a great selection of antiques and home decor but buyer beware: one of the vendors passed off a reproduction seed advertising sign as original/antique.

Christopher Filley Antiques: what do users think?
Nick Weddle: While in a neighboring office, they would not let my daughter use the 'employees only' restroom. CFA was quite friendly and hospitable and allowed her to use the very cool Mona Lisa Restroom. Two Thumbs up. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique piece of art or decor piece. Very cool collection.
Ancestor Explorer: I wasn't impressed. I went in looking for books primarily and he had plenty but told me they were not for sale. He said they were for the ambiance. But found a lot of furniture, stoneware, and African art. Disappointed, you have many books that would sell I'm sure, & as a business id think you'd want to sell and move your products and make some revenue. I won't be back.
Natalie Winters: Definitely not an ordinary antique shop! I went in expecting not much, but really enjoyed looking at their African collection. The owner was also welcoming and kind.
N Waldner: A most interesting shop
Mary McAnany: The very best of the BEST antique and architectural funds in Kansas City! This store has so much more than I expected. Thank you Christopher Filley for your great finds, great deals, and friendly customer service. You're the best.
Mike Moya: This place has it all! I love coming here!
Julie Keever: OMG! Great selection!
Gary S: Wonderful selection of Art & Antiques and the best in architectural peices in the Midwest!!

Extreme Entertainment: Some cool stuff but some dealers price things way too high and are ridiculous.

Drew Krol: Hidden gem

Unicorn girl: Ever since I discovered this little gem tucked away in NKC from searching antique stores in my local area to shop. I found this place to be charming and full of interesting items. I am an active collector of model horses and this place has been my lucky charm in collecting a variety of models. Every time I visit, the staff are really friendly and I can tell are working their tails off providing the best experience for the customer. I plan to visit more in the future. Stuffology: what do users think?
Kris: Stuffology has a really impressive variety of antiques and vintage. Their selection of antique lighting is not to be missed.
Justin Canja: If you are into American pickers you have to see this place. Honestly one of the most amazing antique stores I've seen in a decade. They seem like a unseen wing of the American History Museum!
Daydreanne Loftis: Huge selection of a hodgepodge of stuff- appropriately named Stuffology! Great place to explore!
Kansas Fire Alarms: Got some emergency lights! If anyone is into vintage life safety equipment, this is the place to go and I WILL be going back!!
Jacob Stack: Fun selection of items wether you are looking to buy or just browsing! Make sure you say hello to the owner Paul! He is a wealth of knowledge and can help you find what you are looking for!
joey frey: I love this place. It's the perfect store for me...and the owner is awsome. He gave my grandaughter a little doll! My #1.
R Zevecke: I love this place. Paul is the bet guy ever. He sources these items from all over the world so you don't have to.
Trevor Laporte: Went on a random First Friday just to look as usual, ended up walking out with a vintage Ludwig Acrolite snare drum. I was very happy, they are well known as great snares and it was a nostalgia item for me and something I had kept an eye open for a while. It was in good condition and listed at a decent price, I didn't even have to haggle, the guy dropped the price for me as soon as I asked about the written price. They were even going to throw in a couple hoops with my purchase if I wanted them but they were mismatched and didn't go with that drum. I would definitely suggest the place, the guys were very talkative and friendly, and there is plenty of 'stuff' to go look at.To the guy saying the prices were to high, you never pay written price at a place like this, ALWAYS haggle. These guys are easy to negotiate.
Shelly LaRose: Very interesting shoppe
Norm Whitted: Always an interesting place to visit. You never know what you will find.
Dutch Dillingham: Good selection, but high prices.
Gabrielle Queen: My favorite store to visit in the West Bottoms! Unique finds, big and small. Beautiful vintage and antique furniture of different styles. Love all the lighting options and art. Something for every treasure seeker.
