Kansas City Zoo: what do users think?
Vince Benedetto: I appreciate all the work the staff put into taking care of all the critters!!Had a great experience, been upwards of 15 years since I visited and overall enjoyable. This time gap gives me an interesting perspective now, after so many years of projects and upgrades. Knowing there's tons of money being pumped into the zoo overall helps my feelings, but still feel the need to express thisI was tremendously under-impressed by the lack of relatively recent monies and updates put into the whole North sector of the Zoo. All the old cat/bear cages are great ideas for reuse, free and easy to throw smaller mnkeys, cats and birds in there. But it's 90% identical to my childhood in the 90's and I left that area disappointed. Felt like they were all relegated to that area, while the spotlight shines on the more popular animals.
Michael Donhauser (Mike van Dee): Wirklich schöner Zoo mit mehreren Fahrgeschäften

Matt Tessier: I hate to leave a three star review. It’s an impressive zoo, and we saw some cool things, but the ride situation is out of control. It seems like everything is a paid “add-on” once you get inside after having paid a high admission price. The train ride was probably 100 yards and the “tram ride” takes you like 150 ft, and after you pay for that, you find out it’s not round trip! Then the sky ride is extra money…then the carousel is extra money….then the boat ride is extra money…then feeding the stingrays is extra money. Felt extorted once inside. Very sad to leave such a review for my wife’s childhood zoo, because there are some good memories there, but the ride situation is unfortunate
Omar Alexander Guzmán Arévalo: Excelente experiencia!Se los recomiendo mucho. 🙂
christopher Barnes: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $11–15More
Emily H: I absolutely love coming here. Can't wait to see all the new cool things they have planned!
Charlet Swisher: Visited on Weekday Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $6–10More
Kent Boydstun II: An ok zoo, no what I would expect for a major metropolitan area. Would highly recommend getting the bands, helps avoid paying for the trams, carousel and other things. Be prepared for high cost food. Would recommend bring a lunch as they have plenty of picnic tables to have lunch at.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $21–30 …More
Alexis Donnelly: First thing I noticed walking in this zoo was trash in the turtle pond. Was a bit unsettling. There was a lot more than I would have liked to see. Most animals looked unhappy. My biggest pet peeve was the straws they give you for the slushies. Someone in corporate really needs to know about that. The tiny straws are not appropriate for large slushies at all. The guy working the ski-lift could use an attitude change. Soley giving 4 stars based off of memories with family. Seriously though the straw thing was a visible problem for everyone who had one.
Jennifer Womack Jones: Friday Flamingle was a great adult event.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $16–20 …More

Faulkner's Ranch: what do users think?
Terri Hahn: Had a really nice time, looking forward to visiting again
Chris Julian: This place has lots of stuff to do for both kids and adults. A fun time!
Jeff Anselmi: Beautiful faculty. Sweet animals
Andrea Brandt: I had never been to their easter hunt. It was a good experience. I little chaotic with the egg hunt itself, kids weren't listening, at the end if you didn't get a certain amount of eggs they gave extra eggs to those eggs. Over all it was a nice afternoon with my family.
Davina Ray: So fun especially for the kiddos in the fall! Lots of space, food, and fun
Jj: We brought our 15 month old today for the Easter event and he had fun! He loved the giant sand pit and the sidewalk chalk. The chicken tenders were really good too (like better than most chicken tenders we order for him at real restaurants). He ate almost the whole basket of them! This is definitely a really fun place to bring kids who are super agile because there's a good amount of physical activities like the bouncy house and caterpillar tunnel. My little guy couldn't do a ton but at least he liked meeting the Easter bunny. :) We will definitely be coming back!
Jason Stidham: So much to do for children
Kyle Benoit: Having our company party 🎉 there every year. Love the staff, love the atmosphere, cannot get enough of this gorgeous venue and Carina is an amazing manager there who does a terribly damn good job 👏 at making the experiences magical.
Carrie Allen: If you are planning a wedding, Faulkner’s Ranch is where you want to be!! I lived out of state when we were looking for a place to get married. We looked at photos online and popped in during pumpkin season to see the ranch. Even with all the pumpkin set up and fall fun, I could picture the beautiful summer wedding! Carina and her team were so fun to work with! They took so much off my planning plate. My soon to be husband accepted a job in Missouri, so I’m the midst of planning our wedding, I was now job hunting and house hunting! I arrived in KC the week of our wedding with a house full of boxes. But I didn’t have to worry as Carina and team had all our decorations that we had picked out. The menu was easy to choose from! The day of the wedding it was so hot, we made some minor adjustments for guests to keep them cool before the outdoor ceremony. Our DJ, Greg from Party It Up Entertainment was so helpful in helping us decide on ceremony music and reception music. From the walk in songs for the bridal party to making sure we kept people dancing! We had the best time wedding day! The only thing we wished was that the pray had gone on longer! We had the best time with Carina and all the team at Faulkners ranch! Be sure to check them out when you start looking at venues! If we could give a 10 star rating we would! Carrie and Donald Ashworth
Cliff Young: We had our company party there. They supplied food, calf roping and line dancing. Very nice!
Stephanie Heiffus: Great venue for our company gathering. Food was awesome!Calf roping indoors was hysterical. Well done across the board.
LaDonna Murphree: We had our Home Depot store 2202 Holiday party there last night. The entire experience there was amazing! We were treated so incredibly well! I highly recommend hosting your celebrations of all kinds there. You will not regret it! Thank you to the entire Faulkner's Ranch crew for all of your hard work and such a great time!
Phyllis Balagna: Wow…what a place!! We had tickets for Jolly, the pop up bar and apps. Was super cool!! Thanks for offering a fun place to celebrate!!
Sarah Hawkins: We hosted our annual company holiday party here last week! The food was great, the decor was beautiful and the staff was so pleasant. We had about 30 people who weren't accounted for that came and they were able to make it work last minute! We are so appreciative how everything there was handled. The warm chocolate chip cookies are a must for your order!
Jay Jaworski: Jolly's Pop up bar was excellent
Cory Smith: If your going for a very large function make it brief and go to the restroom before you go. Restrooms are very large but only have 1 toilet for the men and two urinals and only 3 toilets for women. Was there last night for a corporate function and the line for the single toilet was up to 6 guys deep! There was more than enough space to have another 3 toilets and 2 more urinals. Just poor management when the Barn was modernized. Other than that is was nice.
Venus Van Horn: We had our Company Holiday Party at Faulkner's and we couldn't have been more pleased. The space was decorated for Christmas and it was a perfect combination of down home comfort and holiday elegance. Every step in the process was excellently managed by Carina the event coordinator. The food was delicious. The DJ/MC kept the party moving along with his wonderful selection of holiday music and banter. They even provided group activities that the team will be laughing about for years to come. Everyone raved about the party and insisted that Faulkner's Ranch become an annual holiday tradition. I highly recommend!!
Norma jean Crawford: Absolutely wonderful place the kids loved it
Jim Defraties: Great Fall fun great kid friendly atmosphere.
Robynne Craddock: A fun experience for myself and my kiddos.
brandes gordon: My girls had an amazing time. The staff are friendly and helpful. Granny was wonderful. Definitely recommend!

Be Free Family Farm: what do users think?
Lance Murkin: A great place to have an event run by some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Very beautiful and very peaceful place.
Sebastian Wentz: Beautiful location for a gathering or wedding, the grounds are beautiful and the family that operates this place are great people as well. I really recommend checking this place out.
Owen Smith: Interesting area! Went for some friend's graduation parties and got to look around a bit. Not sure if the food was provided by the hosts or the farm, but it was good nonetheless. Chickens were neat too.
William Akers: Great event space! Very helpful and friendly folks.
Alora Bucey: I went here for three grad parties in one and I was just absolutely in awe of the barn. I didn't get to explore much of anything else, but the Barn itself was absolutely fascinating and how it was constructed. You can tell that the owners love their property, and the people who come to it.
Corey Brown: A BEAUTIFUL farm with lots of history! Completely picturesque from the gorgeous modern barn to the top of the hill that spotlights a rare KC skyline view! I look forward to revisiting this farm in all seasons and enjoying some homemade goods from this local gem. THANK YOU to the owners for their warm welcome & generous time in sharing the farm & it's history!
Heather O'Brien: Picked up a tree yesterday and I love it! Well packaged and easy to plant.
Janice Wilmes: Was a very good experience. Owner was informative and helpful. Would highly recommend. Don't wait too long because he sells out quickly.

Johnson Farms Plants and Pumpkins: what do users think?
Jenny Dougherty: My kids love coming to this pumpkin patch every year. The staff is friendly there patch is the best in the area to ride a hayride and pick your pumpkins. We've been going for 5 years. My kids love there corn pit as well.
juston taylor: We love visiting every year in the fall, for pumpkins. But we have discovered the apple picking is fun too. Yes, you'll see bees, but they won't bother you. They're just living their lives, feeding and pollinating.
Jason Nalley: Family fun, pumpkins, apples, Animals...
Tavia Foley: Our favorite pumpkin patch! The staff is very kind and great with kids!
Julie Buckner: It's not overly busy, which is nice but doesn't offer a lot. The pig races consist of one group of pigs that run the loop once, so you need to watch the time or you'll miss them. You're not allowed to feed the animals so they don't care to come up to you so you can pet them. Lastly, the "fresh made" donuts are pre-made and pre-packaged...not impressed.
Tifani Williamson: The best pumpkin patch experience in KC! HANDS DOWN!
Nicholas Miller: So many activities. Absolutely love it there
Lori: I like Johnson Farms alot. They are however getting quite expensive. The place was low on good pumpkins. I don't know how the season wad for crops though. They had beautiful flowers n decents veggies. They also had gorgeous Mums. The grandkids had fun too
Michael Allen: This place has lost its charm. Employees were rude and didn’t seem to care about the patrons, the cost to get in isn’t close to justified by what you can do once admitted. Don’t go during the week, no pig races, no pumpkin chomper, no chuckin and you get a $2 discount. Y’all can keep it. We won’t be back.
Jenna Ensor: Love this place! My husband and I drove by it going to the Louisburg Cider Mill, which was fun but SO busy. We stopped here on the way home and it was great! Not as busy and a huge selection of gorgeous affordable mums and pumpkins!! And the owner was so friendly :)
Lynn Reynolds: This place is great for kiddos under the age of 12. Teenagers will be bored as they do not offer anything for them to do and enjoy. The pick option is great for fresh veggies and apples. Big selection of pumpkin and mum's.
Carrie Brotherton: They have beautiful mums but they have ridiculously high prices to get into the kids fun zone.
Kevin Cocks: great place for the kids and grandkids.great selection and variety of pumpkins and apples. the donuts were enough to make this fat boy smile 😎
James Marshall: Lots of activities for kids my daughter had a great time. Decent size patch to pick your own pumpkin
Cheryl Altman: Great selection of mums...love going out there...everyone is so helpful and friendly..
Julia Rieder: This is one of my family's favorite places to go in the Fall. The staff I've interacted with are all very nice. The farm was quieter this year than in past years because they aren't allowing school groups or large groups in right now. That was kind of nice because I didn't have to worry about my kids getting lost in a sea of preschoolers. All of the activities are so fun for kids, and I enjoy looking at the beautiful flowers. Their admission fee is cheaper than some in the area, and you get quite a lot for your money. You could seriously spend a good part of the day here.
Sunny: We love this pumpkin patch. Great for families and love that it’s much closer than other options for us. Their cider and pumpkin donuts are delicious. Plus lots of fun activities: apple picking (vegetable picking), pig race, great playground, corn pit, fun games, goats, chickens and more.
Laurie McCray: So glad to be back at the farm! Bought tickets on line. Great day with the family picking pumpkins and gourds. Sunflower patch was pretty. My grown kids still love the pumpkin eating dragon and the pumpkin cannon. We appreciate all the workers at johnson farms keeping this tradition going! And best mums in town!
Connie Pollock: Best place to get your mums, apples and pumpkins with a fun Family Experience!
Andrea N: Fun for the kiddos! Huge Mum's, pumpkins, decor! Upick pumpkins.
Terry Irwin: Lots of stuff for small children to do. We took our granddaughter who isn't quite 2 yet, and there was just so much for her to do. Slides, things to bounce on, mazes to explore...We didn't pick apples and we didn't pick a pumpkin off the vine or go for a tractor ride, so I can't really rate those activities. Also, be prepared for some high prices on food and beverages. The apple cider was delicious, but a cup of it costs more than a gallon of it at the grocery store. And the doughnuts were also tasty, but about $2 each.Plenty of parking, but we got there early.
