Both other companies acted like car salesman. Pushy! Telling me deal was only for today $50, other company replied “ I’m not understanding ? Why do you need to call around ? I’m giving you a deal here”, that deal again was $50 plus very pushy salesman. Then I called Scharig Alarm Kevin. He was pleasant , not trying to sale me and explained his system in detail and gave me options and price and came across honest. Later I googled his company reviews and was impressed then he came out and did a great job and it’s less than you know who and we are happy. I have a phone app and very nice screen and a louder alarm sound and happy I called.

I mentioned to Kevin that we were going to be gone for a couple of weeks and really wanted to get the alarm system installed ASAP. He installed it the next day, can't get customer service like that from big companies.

Saber Cycle: We have been customers of Scharig Alarm Systems since 2014. Kevin installed monitoring systems in both our home and our warehouse in addition to cameras in our warehouse. Kevin is truly an expert in his trade and provides good quality and value. Most recently, Kevin changed out the DVR for the system in our home that had been installed by another small business that we had many issues with. Everything works great now and we love our mobile app for monitoring both home and warehouse locations. The app is better than what the previous company used that we inadvertently discovered gave us access to some of their customer's camera security systems. Talk about security! I found out their monthly bill was very high and they wanted to add all of these special features in which I did not ask for. So I Googled alarm systems and came a crossed Scharig. I called them and was able to speak to Kevin who is the owner. He was very upfront with me and asked me what I was looking for and was able to give all I wanted and a little bit more all for a low monthly rate and told me my different options I had. In my opinion they are just as good as the big guys. It took me a week to decide in which Kevin was very patient with me and did not try to pressure me into a sale. I would recommend Scharig to family and friends.

He also explained my options and the equipment that convinced me he is an expert and a craftsman. Install is complete and cannot even tell the work was done, save for the new awesome sound! TJ assured me if anything goes wrong, MAX Sound will fix it. I look forward to listening to my music in my classic ride as if it were Carnegie Hall on wheels. Highly recommend!

bryan carroll: Hands down the best audio/tint shop in the Northland. They have personally tinted 4 of my vehicles and done audio work for me. Their customer service is top tier, let me explain.....I had them install a touchscreen rear view camera assembly in my 4Runner. A day later, there seemed to be a small electrical issue.1.) They allowed me to use their equip to take home and jump my vehicle.2.) After I got it back to the shop, they gave my daughter and I a ride back home.3.) After inspecting the issue, they found it was a bad battery connection. And not only did T.J. go to the parts store and get the part, he also fixed it without some insane markup on my installation price.If that isn't customer service at its finest, then I don't what is. I will continue to have all of my work done by them and send more customers their way. I wish more businesses had this type of care .Thanks again guys, especially you T.J. You guys are dope.!

Julian Giles: They got my Honda Civic Type R hooked up right. Super clean hook up. It operates like my stock set up but the sound is next level. They hooked up front and rear Focal speakers, an amp, and a Kenwood sub. The type r's stock system definitely lacked a punch, but the new set up is so good. They had my car done and ready to go even faster than they said they would. Don't let the shop set up fool you. These guys know their stuff and really do provide top notch service. Good chance we'll be back in the future.

Rod's Kustoms and detailing: I called the because my 15 year old remote starter stop working about a year before. They made me an appointment and were able to troubleshoot and fix it, they saved me around $275.00. This is a great place, and I'm very happy with their customer service.

Kaleb Gilliatte: ADT is TRASH. Services would never work properly so I cancelled and paid them $1100 to close my contract. And yet they are STILL charging me a monthly bill. Have now been on the phone for 52 minutes and have talked to 4 people and just keep getting put on hold and transferred.

HECTOR CALDERON: I was a client for over four years, i updated my equipment and had a year left to pay off, we decided to sell our house and Kali Jones calls me up to keep my business for my next purchase. We decided not to buy and she said if i can get the new house owner then i would not have to pay the rest of the money left on the contract. Story short, the client did signed up with ADT but they still charged me the 1,067 dollars. Kali Jones lied to me and would not take my calls to tell me what happened, i called ADT and they will not give my refund. I will never do business with the ADT AGAIN, do not trust anything they say! By the way, i will get my money back!

Rebecca Hansen: Buyer beware. I was renting a house and my previous tenants had this alarm system installed and even though they called in and deactivated the account the alarm was still going off. It has made it impossible to make reapairs and get the house ready to sell. I’ve called customer service and they refuse to do anything about it. They don’t care if it’s tech they have installed or not. Unless I want to activate service to have a technition come out I’m just screwed. I hate this service.

Jeff Hoelscher: The tech showed upon time, was very friendly, but did an absolutely horrible job of installing the hardware. Dust was left everywhere, the screens aren’t mounted straight, he cut an additional hole in my wall without asking, and the main screen doesn’t work. The system does not work. If I measure the performance by whether the system works, it’s a complete failure.

Katie Truber: A sales person from ADT knocked on my door this afternoon with a relentless and extremely annoying sales pitch. During this pitch he asked on multiple occasions to enter my home which a sales person should never do. While I was trying to decline services from ADT, he wanted to return when the other occupants of the home were present. After telling him not to waste his time, he began asking about the make and model of the other occupants car so that he could return when the other occupant was home. Very inappropriate sales tactics to invade my personal space and ask personal information about the other occupants of the home.

Andrew Leonard: I reviewed the other ADT office closer to me, but any company that makes their sales people this pushy and prone to lying or exaggeration is not a company I would trust to mow my lawn, much less guard my home.

Josh Jones: The guy showed up hours after the scheduled appointment window, no one called me to tell me they changed my appointment window. It was a simple replacement of the 3G radio to 4G. He installed it crooked. Put a level on it or just stand back and look at it. You're either blind as a bat or simply don't care. I know they don't pay their techs enough to care. Oh well. At least he was quick about it.

Noely Griffin: I don’t understand why ADT does not make a better app where users could change the cameras Wi-Fi themselves. We changed our Wi-Fi and had to pay ADT an extra $150 to send someone here just to reconnect our cameras. We already pay ADT monthly fees.

Christopher Wilson: They are more then helpful when they are taking your money. After that best of luck. I've called over 8 times now. Emails have gone unread. Customer service is nothing but someone being as rude as they can be, interrupting you mid sentence and for sure not being helpful what so ever. Equipment is a joke. Product fails all the time. 1/10 if not less. Save your money and do a DIY security system. Save yourself from being locked in a 3 year contract too. They conveniently forget to mention that till the very end too.

Jordan Jones: We had our security and fire alarm system installed by SafeStreets out of KCMO. Our fire alarm randomly went off for 10 minutes straight without registering to our security system. I called ADT to address my issue and they ended up transferring me to tech support. Tech support ended up telling me to get ahold of our installer. With Ed installing our system, he had left us his business card and so I reached out to him at 6:30 PM CST. Ed handled that phone call in the most unprofessional manner possible. He kept being short with me when I tried addressing this issue with him. After continously speaking over the loud rap music back and forth he had the nerve to ask why I was calling him during after hours because there was nothing he could do. It's a good thing nothing severe had happened to my property or family because he had displayed zero empathy or professionalism while reaching out to him about our technical difficulty. If there was zero star option I would not have hesitated to select that instead of the one star option.
