Yoga Patch: what do users think?
Sarah Mackay: This space with the teachers and students is so welcoming for everyone. I started taking classes with a friend a few years ago, having been being very unflexible for my entire life and always saying that I "Don't do yoga". The teachers that I started with specialized in slow flows and meditatiive classes and helped me to feel secure in where my body should be in each pose and how to make it work for my level of flexibility. I was hooked and have been a student here for the past 4 years. I love the community in this space - you can feel it when you walk in. There are plants everywhere, multiple studios as well as a cafe and shop for fun items, pet birds that sing to you as you are in the space, and people that are real and wonderful. Maria, the owner, has created something magical here - a safe and welcoming space to be, to move, to stretch, and to breathe.
poonam bhyan: I have been practicing yoga for 10 years now and I’m beyond disappointed in this studio. Their facility and space is very spacious and natural feel with plants etc. However, their yoga classes are very basic level and hardly any teacher does or teaches advanced level poses. More importantly, I felt so much negative energy and tension in this place especially with couple of teachers who I felt were outright rude, very unwelcoming & even racists.I have lived in DC, New York, North Carolina and have especially noticed that among trainers, yoga teachers are specially the most mentally peaceful people, they are kind and they are role models by their attitude and their behavior. This is the first place I felt that their teachers have may be learnt sequences of asanas but not the real meaning/essence of yoga. They definitely have work to do on themselves before they teach others. Adios!
Carolina Santiago: What an amazing place to practice! They have a variety of classes with really good instructors. No matter what class I have taken I’ve had a great experience and left feeling recharged.
Jen S.: Yoga Patch is an exceptional studio. It is a warm and welcoming space, and the instructors are all wonderful. There is a meaningful emphasis on mindfulness and meditation—I always feel noticeably lighter after class. I am so glad that I found my way to Yoga Patch!
Chanelle Johnson: First time going to yoga patch and had a great time in hip hop yoga taught by Veronica. I can't wait to come back!
Bryan Miller: Very clean, polite, professional, safe, and AMAZINGLY relaxing. This is like a hard reset for your body. Pain, stress, anxiety, and PTSD are greatly reduced!
A L: I just started practicing yoga and I feel so welcomed and comfortable in this space despite being a newcomer to the practice. Every instructor I've had here has been wonderful and offered lots of modifications to suit the needs of everyone in the classroom, and they've been approachable for any questions and offered supportive advice. I am so happy I found Yoga Patch to continue to grow my daily yoga practice with. I cannot say enough good things about this gorgeous space!
Will Hall: One of the best yoga classes I have ever taken - thanks to the consent cards teacher Kate wisely offered to opt-in to instructive touch. I hope this becomes widespread in the yoga industry and am grateful to Kate and Yoga Patch for helping lead the way.
Abby Condon: Such a beautiful studio with diverse classes, gorgeous and warm atmosphere, and the kindest owner. She even hand delivered a yoga block to me over COVID, when I had just had a baby!
Auburn Ellis: Such a dynamic space with so many offerings! Yoga classes in Spanish, hot yoga, silks-I truly enjoy every bit. The space is also peaceful & beautiful with great instructors to match the vibe.
Shelby: There’s so many amazing things I could say about Yoga Patch. No matter where you’re at in your practice, the teachers and students are warm, welcoming and accepting. I always leave here feeling so full and whole. I’ve found wonderful teachers here at Yoga Patch and I’ve begun to heal in ways I no longer thought were possible for me. It’s a safe and validating environment to show up just as you are. There’s a variety of classes offered throughout the day to meet your scheduling needs, too. I highly recommend this studio. I can’t thank you enough, Yoga Patch!
michelle gordon: Any class guided by Anna Koehler is the perfect gift to give yourself or anyone you care about and humanity at large! I participated in my first evening class with her last night and slept better than I have in months and literally woke up laughing several times! The sincerity in her guidance is awe-striking and will change your life.Anna has the gift of transforming the confines of a physical space into a universe of endless possibilities. Her practice encompasses all of our senses that frequently get overlooked in western yoga practice. The powerful healing properties in her voice alone are worth investing your time. She guides verbally, visually, energetically and physically-best adjustments ever! Her generous spirit will take your yoga practice to a deeper level and you will experience a shavasana of a lifetime.
Brock Exline: I have been following Yoga Patch since being on Wornall. U can’t find a more caring group of like minded people in the area. I can’t say enough about how they have trudged thru the pandemic and still created a since of calm and belonging. I feel lucky to attend a safe/ social distanced/ masked class when ever I can ( and on line when I can’t). Thank you Maria!
Cami Reign: So far so good, I have only attended one class so far but it definitely made me want to go back. I love all the plants and the whole calmness about the building and the yoga session was amazing. I plan on trying every class they have, it's an amazing way to get out of the house right now and they are very mindful of social distancing. So 3 weeks in and still loving it. Will definitely keep going.
Molly Flynn: Best yoga class in KC on Wednesday night at yogapatch with Anna K. The room is gorgeous.... candles, a fireplace and it smells amazing. The music is fun and hits exactly on point with the movement. The combination of escaping into this gorgeous studio with an awesome instructor for relaxation while simultaneously getting an awesome workout is top notch
Laura Klover: I go weekly just to attend Anna Koehler’s classes. Her hot flow and iron yoga are KILLER! She’s hands on and energetic which keeps classes exciting!
Derek Garcia: Yoga patch has an amazing Shangri-la feel to it. You step in and feel the positive energy. As far as class selection goes, we are pretty much spoiled for choice. Whatever your preference, it is likely they have a quality class, usually more than one, for you to enjoy. With 3 rooms they are able to accomodate a lot of classes and people. All of the teachers I have been to (about 8) have been extremely knowledgeable and led wonderful flows. They have classes throughout the day to fit everyone's schedules. They also have kid's yoga classes! The hidden gem of Waldo!
Kate Feder: I've been practicing yoga for about 15 years, and when I moved back to Kansas City after college, I found Yoga Patch online when looking for a place to practice regularly. The first class I took was Rachel's Hot Flow, and I was immediately hooked. So much so that after about 6 months, I joined their new Teacher Training program. It's been about 4 years since I first walked through the door, and not only do I still hit up Rachel's class when I can, I now teach 3 classes a week and attend others regularly. I've seen this studio become a community for so many who needed one, a home for small businesses and non-profits, and a life-changing outlet for people with all types of limitations and insecurities, physically and mentally, that made them think yoga wasn't for them. YP's classes are truly for everyone - there's more than 60 classes a week, almost half of which are offered for $5-$8, and dozens of workshops and trainings each year. All of this is a testament to the owner - Maria Murphy - and her passion for empowering others and her selfless love of this community. I know I'm biased, but only because once you get to know YP, most people find they have no choice but to get involved.
Sage Harper: Gwendolyn White (Buti Yoga)is extremely disrespectful & very standoffish. I’m beyond disappointed that we need to find a different yoga studio considering me & 5 of my friends were about to purchase a year upfront memberships. She’s put a sour taste in our mouths. You’d normally expect to be greeted by a yoga teacher kindly & respectfully. Typically they tend to have a sense of zen about them but the negative energy was very unwelcoming & discouraging.I understand that one teacher shouldn’t dictate the overall vibe of a studio but we’ve never been so incredibly disrespected in a yoga studio for asking a few questions.
Derek Black: I went to Brandon Vogt's Yoga Basics class. It was the best Yoga class that I've ever gone to. He's also a musician and plays his guitar at the end.
Daniel Edwards: Coffee

Kansas City Aerial Arts: what do users think?
Johnny Wells: What a willing leadership team KC Aerial Arts has! What a talented group of performers! It was a joy to work with them as they created a show and workshop just for our event to entertain, engage, and enlighten our audience of young people in aerial arts but also STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics). Thanks for the invitation to visit the studio too. Memorable morning.
Kelly Garagiola: I took a lyra workshop run by Artoor Voskanian and offered by Kansas City Aerial Arts. He was a delight to work with! He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and fun.The 2 hour class was well worth the price. It was definitely aimed towards those that have a pretty good understanding of the lyra apparatus.
Becca Forster Marco: Highly recommend this studio! Beautiful and clean facilities. Easy to access and tons of parking!I was in town for the weekend and was able to snag a lesson at the last minute for me and my daughter (5 yrs). Daniel and Bridget were so helpful in scheduling, and Carina was amazing in juggling activities for both my daughter and me. We had the best time and would absolutely come back!
MEPJ DORF: My daughter has moved up to the Level Classes and is learning so much. She loves her classes and teachers.
Samantha Thompson: We hired KC Aerial Arts to provide the entertainment for our annual banquet. They literally stole the show! They customized the performance to follow our theme and kept everyone on the edge of their seats. We will definitely be using them again in the future. Such a great group of talented people!!
Chris Riemann: My daughters have been at KC Aerial about 7 months. They’ve had a great experience & some wonderful coaches. There’s a curriculum that helps them continue to develop their skills & strength. Highly recommend!
Tiffanie Zdjelar: Amazing studio! My daughter has been going for about a year now and absolutely loves it! She just recently moved into Lyra 1, which is taught by Meghan. She has so much patience and really explains what to do to help her learn and improve and motivate her. Any time I have any questions, Bridget always responds incredibly quickly and is so helpful and kind!
alicia james: Love the studio we relocated to Kansas 2 years ago which was a big change for my daughter she did Aerial classes for 6 years and dance for 9 years with the same group of girls we from a small town in AZ. She is loving this place they all very friendly and great teachers.
Chris Kostelac: This is a terrific studio for aerial arts!
Russ Schenke: Great place. My daughter Leila loves studying here.
Amy Glass: Love this studio. My daughter joined when she was 12 and it have been such a positive place for her. It has been amazing to see her confidence grow mentally and physically. The instructors are wonderful.
Melissa Ritter: The staff here is so helpful, knowledgeable and supportive in an environment that is unique in developing this type of art. My daughter couldn't be in a better place for learning
Jeremy Copling: This is not a women-owned company as it is claiming here. There is only 1 male owner and he has a history of actively suppressing and ignoring input from female employees.
Nicole Hall: I booked a private party for a bachelorette event and it was AMAZING. Such a fun and unforgettable experience. Instruction was encouraging and patient.
Heather Michele Meyer: I felt so welcomed by the staff here, even though I was a first time visitor. They’re so attentive, courteous, and incredibly supportive of all folks, no matter the level of experience!
Katy Borders: We discovered Kansas City Aerial Arts about a year ago and have had such an amazing experience. The teachers are so kind and helpful in teaching my ten year old daughter. The staff has always been responsive to any questions I’ve had regarding class sessions/payment/changing of teachers or classes. We feel so fortunate to have found this beautiful gem so close!
robert fisher: Critical:Communication,ProfessionalismDaniel took upon himself to ban my special needs daughter from taking classes We had taken classes as well as privates for over a year and then they decide they can’t work with my family any further They were completely unprofessional and treated us like the weekly garbage you just throw to the curb
Lauren Holbrook: This studio is AMAZING! There is a mix of all kinds of students so whoever you are, you will fit in. It’s scary to try something new but KCAA makes every student feel so comfortable. All the instructors are great, so educated in the field of aerial arts, and always positive and motivating. The classes are also so much fun, the only workout I ever look forward to!
Julia Whitley: Being an adult, I never thought I’d find a hobby that combined exercise but also a tangible skill and I have found that at KCAA. Its like I am a kid again getting to learn how to do sequences and tricks on the different apparatuses! On top of all that, the teachers are great, and I have never felt like I wasn’t going to be able to do something or that I wasn’t strong enough to be in the class.
Kyle Francis: Level of organization and professionalism was on point. Class was intense but fun. Solid balance there. The instructorors are incredibly helpful and are attentive to everyone in the class. When I was struggling with a move and asked for help she showed me a different way to do it which helped me and others in the class. Would definitely recommend. As a KCAA husband I got talked into a class. It was pretty fun fellow spouses, you should try it.
Michelle: I attended the open gym at KCA. I was visiting from out of town and was very pleased with my experience here. The staff was welcoming and professional. The space is kinda small, but clean and organized!I was able to train on two different apparatuses of my choice and I felt very comfortable in the space. I definitely plan to visit again!

Maya Yoga: what do users think?
Carol Petrini: Positive:Professionalism,QualityWelcoming environment and knowledgeable, supportive instructors. Highly recommend!
Lisa: Maya Yoga and the teachers are top notch. The teacher training program is comprehensive and you feel well prepared coming out. The teachers truly care about every aspect of training and took great steps to be flexible during a pandemic, offering online options and making the extra effort to ensure that the training was quality. You always feel welcome at Maya in every class be it in person or online. I would highly recommend Maya to anyone interested in the TT program or just looking for a welcoming studio to take classes with knowledgeable teachers.
Kelly Gerken: Teachers and yoga studio itself - great, one of the best I've ever practiced at. Wonderful intro to Ashtanga and lots of talented guest teachers. The new management and communication with customers - some of the worst I've experienced.
Arien Cox: Best yoga place in town. Truly a spiritual experience
Josiah B: Very warm and inviting. I went, very bleary-eyed, to the 6 AM Intro to Ashtanga class and left feeling challenged, but also energized and mentally prepared for the day. I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to get into Ashtanga Yoga.I'm also a beginner. It's worth noting that I'm not very good at Yoga, yet (perhaps a word reordering to "very not good at Yoga" is more appropriate for describing my skill level), but I didn't feel judged for having trouble with some of the movements and even falling over once or twice. Great place to get started, but as evidenced by the people in the class, there's enough there to keep the advanced practitioners coming back.
Rachel Scott: You won't find a better yoga studio in KC. Take a class and see for yourself.
C: I was first introduced to Ashtanga at Maya, and can certainly say the bar is set high. I practiced with Kathleen and Wade for 1 1/2 years prior to moving out of state. In that time I traveled weekly for work, and made sure to visit any ashtanga or vinyasa studio I could. Outside of my experience on the West coast, there's nothing like Maya. They don't expect everyone to be an expert. They will teach you. I started yoga to help recover from a back injury. They pushed me hard when I was weak, and also when I was much stronger. Show up, work hard, and you will have plenty of reasons to be grateful.
Congress of the Rhino: This is the best yoga studio I have ever been to, and I have been to many all across the nation. I have since moved away from Kansas City, and more than anything the search for at least an equal studio has been quite the task. They somehow make the strict Ashtanga teachings seem fun, and the yoga community they've built from scratch is quite remarkable. Check this place out, whether you live in KC or are just visiting, you will not regret it.
Margaret Helwig: I fell in love with yoga through Maya Yoga. Instructors here teach the fundamentals, providing hands-on adjustments to help the practitioner feel the true expression of each pose. Each pose is modified as well as extended to give a challenge to yogis at all levels. I found yoga after being told I needed to stop running due to an injury, and I found I was able to continue to challenge myself physically, as well as quiet my mind through yoga at Maya in the same way I used to require from running. A beautiful, warm, energizing studio- this is the place to learn and grow your yoga practice.
Rebecca Brown: Maya Yoga helps one expand the body and mind in a soulful way. The ability of Kathleen, Wade, and other yogis who teach there to intuitively and kindly persuade your yoga practice to a level previously unimaginable, is astonishing. The results are a sleek, yet stronger musculature, as well as a calmer state of being. This calm not only stems from the physical practice, but also from the spiritual focus of the studio, which brings you closer to the essence of God. This agnostic follower has found healing, enlightenment, and spiritual well-being from both the Ashtanga practice and the meditation classes they lead. I encourage anyone who is feeling disenfranchised with the cardiovascular and weight-training workouts offered at gyms to come try Ashtanga yoga at Maya Yoga.
Amber Savage: Maya Studio is the best in Kansas City when it comes to learning and maintaining an Ashtanga practice. Whether you are just looking to drop in and test your endurance, strength, and flexibility or looking to commit to a practice that will change your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual side in a positive way Maya is the place to be. The yoga community at Maya is a place to expand your knowledge and a place to call home. I am so grateful to have stumbled across Maya and will continue to welcome the positive changes it brings into my life. Kathleen and Wade both have unique and challenging methods to their teachings and discipline that will keep you coming back for more! Make sure to check it out.
Ana Evans: I highly recommend Maya Yoga! It is a beautiful studio. Kathleen and Wade are highly knowledgeable and truly caring about every one of their students. Their love and dedication to their practice is inspiring and contagious. Under their instruction I have been able to grow my practice in a way I was never able to in the past. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced practitioner there is a class at Maya for you!
Jessica Rousseau: A warm and welcoming place, this yoga studio is a peaceful and inspiring space. Kathleen and Wade have clearly put their hearts and souls into making Maya Yoga the best possible studio for Kansas City. They are well trained in the practice of Ashtanga as well as up to date on the philosophies and physical effects of the art. An experience at Maya is an experience in dedication and the teachers are devoted to helping their students maintain healthy practices and peaceful lives.

Full Circle Yoga KC: what do users think?
Leigh Appenfeller: This studio is a game changer, mentally and physically. Such a welcoming atmosphere and I always leave feeling 10 times better. I'm so happy to have found this studio early on in my pregnancy!
Timmy Man: Amazing yoga place where she meets you where you are that day. Great for kids and adults. I wish the studio was open when I was pregnant or my baby was young. I definitely would've been there often. My son has gone to Jenny since he was about 3 (her last location) and loves it every time. We had such a great time at Yoga in the Park!! Thank you Jenny for all your amazing work. I could not highly enough recommend this place!!!
Jessica Maney: I stumbled across Full Circle mostly by accident when I was looking for prenatal wellness Groupons around Christmas time and there was a special for prenatal yoga. I’d not really ever done yoga before so very much a newbie but felt my pregnant body needed the movement. The studio was extremely welcoming even before I ever arrived! I got a welcome email from the owner offering to answering any questions after I’d registered for my first class online. The first class I felt right at home. Jenny is owner and teaches many classes and so so sweet with a very calming personality! I enjoyed going to many prenatal classes and now some postnatal classes with my baby too! I am constantly recommending her studio to all my pregnant friends! I’m so happy I found her studio as it offers a comprehensive welcoming tribe for mothers in all stages!Additionally, I was blessed to have Jenny be a doula for the birth of our daughter and cannot sing her praises enough! Currently early in her doula career, you’d never know it…. She brings such knowledge and calming presence to the delivery. I could not have done it without her!1000% recommend this studio and tribe of great people!!!
Bonnie Birdsell: I found Full Circle Yoga KC after searching for prenatal yoga in KC last summer. In a busy and stressful season of life, I wanted to find a place where I could focus solely on preparing for my baby's arrival. FCYKC was the perfect place - Jenny is incredible, and every other yogi I've met there has been so wonderful and supportive. I now take my new baby to the BYOB (Bring Your Own Baby) yoga classes, and he loves them! I highly recommend FCYKC to anyone looking for prenatal or family-centered yoga classes.
Becky Schubkegel: Full Circle truly revolutionized my prenatal experience. I started attending in my 2nd trimester looking for community and support, and found such a caring, open, authentic group of people that exceeded any expectations. I am 4 weeks from delivering a very unexpected baby, but have never felt more prepared, empowered, and strong physically and mentally because of the Full Circle community. There is something here for everyone, whether you've ever done yoga before or not, whether you've ever given birth before or not. I am eternally grateful for Jenny and the entire community here. Highly recommend to anyone at any point in this journey.
Danielle Bisignano: I would highly recommend this studio! I started coming to Full Circle early in my pregnancy. I continued prenatal yoga classes throughout my pregnancy. It was so wonderful being able to continue practicing as my body grew and changed. I also loved getting to meet other expecting mamas and share our experiences and journeys. This was my first pregnancy. Since our little girl was born we started going to the BYOB (bring your own baby) classes and we have such a fun time together! I am looking forward to continue attending classes with her as she grows. While pregnant I also attended other workshops the studio hosted: Pelvic Floor, Couples Partner yoga, Breastfeeding course. In some of the other workshops we were able to learn different laboring positions and ways my husband could support during labor. Jenny, Deana, and Miracle are amazing yoga instructors! I am so thankful that I found this community for this new chapter of our lives!
McKay Campbell: I absolutely adore Jenny, Deana, and the entire Full Circle Yoga community. I started coming to class in the first trimester and it has been a complete game changer for my mentality surrounding pregnancy, labor, and motherhood. I've found a community of incredible women to lean on as well as amazing classes that make me feel strong, empowered, and connected to myself and my baby. The resources at FCYKC are amazing- from pelvic floor therapists to lactation consultants, Jenny and Deana always know exactly where to send pregnant mama's for anything they need. I can't wait to bring my baby back for BYOB classes after delivery and continue on with this amazing community of mothers. If you're curious, I would highly recommend trying out a class- it's never too early!
Ellen Hailey: Full Circle Yoga is the best! The prenatal yoga classes and workshops (chiropractic, partner classes) have been an integral part of both my pregnancies. My experience here had so many benefits - connecting with a supportive community of women, preparing my body and mind for labor through yoga and learning laboring techniques.I truly credit the prenatal classes here to my positive birth experiences. The programming Jenny has created is so wonderful, I can’t recommend it more!
Anna Joy Walker: I cannot say enough good things about Jenny and Full-Circle. I recommend her classes to every pregnant momma I meet. Having the support from Jenny and the other women sharing this crazy moments of growing a human was exactly what I needed. Don't hesitate. I am generously endowed (all over) and have knee issues. Jenny helped me find positions that worked for my body. It was also the first yoga experience that I felt truly supported and not judged for my size (which I feel is essential for women like me who avoid certain activities because we've experienced so much judgement and criticism about our bodies). I'm so grateful for my experience and do plan to make it back for the baby friendly classes.
Lauren McNellis: What an overall wonderful experience. I practiced prenatal yoga with my second pregnancy and felt it made all of the difference in feeling physically and mentally ready for birth. I utilized a visual that Jenny had led us through in class while I was in labor and was able to keep calm through very intense sensations. The instructors intentionally create a welcoming and empowering space for women and families. The owner Jenny, has found her calling. She is wonderfully genuine and is changing the world in her own way by bringing women together. Women wrapping around other women as they prepare for birth is always how pregnancy was meant to be. Absolutely worth it, will positively impact your pregnancy and birth.
Jenny Redix Jordan: I was blessed to be able to experience prenatal and BYOB yoga with Jenny Hellman and Full Circle Yoga for THREE babies! I have experienced many types of yoga classes, and different types of prenatal yoga, and FCY offers the most empowering prenatal yoga experience. The classes would fill my cup. I always left feeling stronger and more confident with my changing body. The classes also helped me during childbirth. I am so thankful my journey intersected with FCY.
Jenna Walburn: Attended the coming of age class with my daughter and it was a wonderfully presented class. I would recommend it to anyone with a tween daughter!
Megan Kazmi: Full Circle Yoga is the best! So helpful physically and emotionally throughout my pregnancy (and after). Jenny is genuine, knowledgeable and caring and I’m so grateful for her and the community she has built through FCY!
Bekah Durar: Jenny is an amazing yoga instructor! I've been to her prenatal, baby yoga, and little movers yoga. I can't say enough amazing things about the classes, especially the prenatal. Jenny makes you feel like a confident warrior mama, getting you ready for all that will come with labor. The community that is built practicing yoga with other expecting mom's is another reason why I love Full Circle Yoga!
Mary Mahon: Best thing you can do during your pregnancy!I was not much of a yoga person, but after reading Emily Oster's Expecting Better book she found that research proved prenatal yoga can significantly improve the birth. I figured I had to give it a try. Wow, if you are pregnant you have to go to Full Circle Yoga KC. It is a welcoming environment that any yoga skill can participate in. I feel like it was half yoga half group therapy. It was so nice to be surrounded by other women going through the same experience and not feeling alone. The instructors were so helpful on helping anyone through any aches or pains. They even brought in experts to educate you outside of just yoga like spinning babies and lactation. I was so comfortable and agile throughout my pregnancy thanks to prenatal yoga. I was even dancing at a silent disco the weekend before I gave birth! I used everything I learned in class on the delivery bed in order to successfully flip my baby around- the nurses were very impressed! I highly recommend Full Circle Yoga KC!
Taylor Cunningham: I came to Full Circle at 12 weeks pregnant without a clue of what it would be like. I had just moved to Kansas City and was a roller derby skater before, so yoga was unfamiliar and intimidating to me. I worried about "fitting in" with other moms there. What I received was an incredibly warm welcome, constant support, and ongoing encouragement from the instructors and other expectant parents. Prenatal yoga with Jenny has helped me connect to and experience my own body in ways I never have before. It has inspired me to dig deeper into my own fears about pregnancy, labor, and birth. And that isn't even the yoga part! Each class is relaxing, challenging, and makes me feel so good afterwards. I will recommend this studio to any and all friends who are pregnant or postpartum.
Kelsey Owens: I started taking prenatal classes at Full Circle during my first trimester and doing so has made a noticeable, positive impact on my mindset throughout pregnancy! Jenny and the other teachers truly care about each student in class, sharing helpful positions and techniques to prepare for a positive birth experience. Full Circle has truly provided the support and community I’ve needed to navigate pregnancy after loss ❤️
Leslie Ranney: I decided to attend the Prenatal Yoga classes from a recommendation from my doula. One of the best decisions I ever made to help me enjoy my pregnancy and prepare for labor and birth. I truly looked forward to doing class with Jenny every Wednesday and Saturday. She not only prepared me physically for my natural birth but also mentally and spiritually. Connecting with other pregnant mamas during their pregnancy journey was so refreshing because everyone was so open and supportive. Jenny went above and beyond by offering to do the class live via Zoom so I could attend from the comfort of my own home and I still felt connected to everyone in the class. HIGHLY, highly recommend attending prenatal yoga classes. I was able to have a successful and surreal natural birth and I have to believe part of that was due to this amazing preparation.
Betsy Farris: Such a great yoga studio! I’ve done prenatal, partner prenatal, BYOBaby, and restorative postpartum and all have been the perfect blend of supportive community, connective practice, and practical exercises to do outside the studio. The owner, Jenny, is encouraging and incredibly invested in her clients and makes each member of the class feel connected to each other.I know that the breathing techniques Learned at prenatal yoga helped me during my birth- i had the nurses even comment on how helpful the techniques were.I am very grateful for the community at Full Circle and the ways the classes have helped me during multiple phases of motherhood.
Melody Stratton: I loved attending prenatal yoga classes at FCYKC during my pregnancy! I started attending around 16 weeks and continued until I was in labor. At the beginning of my pregnancy I had a lot of anxiety about pregnancy loss and was also diagnosed with a uterine abnormality. I spoke with Jenny prior to coming to class and she did research to help me modify poses to make sure they were safe for my pregnancy, which I really appreciated. My baby was breech until ~36 weeks, so I continued to modify poses and do poses to encourage him to flip. When he finally did, our whole class celebrated, which made me feel so supported! Jenny's classes are always really motivating, and I went into labor and birth feeling very confident. I also really appreciated the conversations we had before class and the resources the other women shared. We talked a lot about the 4th trimester and breastfeeding, and now that I'm in that phase I think back to what I learned and heard daily. I am so glad FCYKC was part of my pregnancy journey and I highly recommend it for all pregnant people!
Mimi Koppen: I love the prenatal and baby yoga classes with Jenny, and my new favorite is the postpartum restorative class with Miracle. She has great instrumental music and a calming energy. The best part is that I’ve been going to physical therapy for slight diastasis recti and lower back pain, and we did a lot of the same poses and movements in this class that my physical therapist has me do. They also allow your baby in the class if you want or need to bring them. Highly recommend!

Voler - Thieves of Flight: what do users think?
REBECCA KING: Perfect atmosphere to try something new! Instructor was amazing!! Can't wait till next lesson!
Allison Hahn: Wonderful experience! Rachel was an excellent teacher! Would highly recommend
J Wahlberg: My friends and I did a weekend date day here and had an absolute blast! If you’re looking for something fun to do, definitely check this place out. Be prepared for a great workout!!!
Patrick T: In my opinion, this place IS NOT SAFE! In my experience, this place does not care about consent, safety, or community. First, the acro community supposedly takes consent seriously but does not seem to here in KC. Being on the autism spectrum, I try to be extra careful, and anytime I thought I got a little too close to any edge, I was told: "Oh, no, you're ok."When I bring issues to the AcroKC instructors about my consent not being honored, they decide not to address the problems. Other communities follow a FRIES model: Freely given, Revocable/Reversible, Informed, Enthusiastic, Specific. But not here.A dozen "NO, STOP, I DON'T WANT TO." Do not matter! In fact, in their attempt to avoid dealing with it, they and/or their students have harassed me, and the AcroKC/AcroLove group has told me, "Go away, I/We don't want to talk about it." They have used incorrect information allegedly supplied by Jens, one of the AcroKC, AcroLove instructors.Jens, one of the AcroKC AcroLove instructors, has spread false information regarding his co-workers and me. Finally, taking them to court, I can come forth. Jens has failed to share the results with the community. The judge found that his co-workers assaulted me. "We're trying to choke him out" Yes, an act that KILLS people. Is the acro community ok with this? All for being told, "Sure, come get your aerial rig tonight for your show."... then, nearly being killed. Luckily, they were not cops, and I could kick, scream, bite, scratch et al. without being falsely arrested. It's all on tape. Even my counselor was traumatized after listening to the tape. It is available for review.Meanwhile, Rachel has continued with, "I don't want to talk about it.If the AcroKC community is ready to stop harassing me – Something the acro community has done within the last three months – we can open a dialog through the 'Center for Conflict Resolution'. They offer mediation services, and if after that, we feel like escalating, they offer Restorative Justice services.p.s. I've only had one person who's come to acro – my partner – over at my house. If that is a "red flag," perhaps that means Rachel, Justin, Mark, and Gabby are evil? Maybe, using all this false information, you have not gotten a lot more wrong but are just an abusive group. At least one yoga studio in KC has asked the AcroKC community to stop coming. Other groups have offered to open a dialog to no avail.
Abi Hubbard: I've been taking intermediate aerial classes here for about a month and I absolutely LOVE them. I've learned so much and have had so much fun. The atmosphere is so fun and encouraging. HIGHLY recommend.
Lacey Ellington: Everyone is welcome no matter your level or body type. There are aerial and acroyoga classes for all levels within a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. It's a bohemian, eclectic sort of vibe where the goal is to have fun while exercising.
Hilary Santana: Rachel is the best trainer ever but she fosters a group and sportsmanship where people build each other up.
Pete Romano: They perform every year at the Lawrence KS Busker Festival and always draw a large crowd for a good reason. They are something to behold. They make it look so easy but you know it's not. Amazing talent and feats of tremendous strength with grace and poise. If you get the opportunity to see them take it, you'll be glad you did.
Maya Hiru: As a traveling professional that has done aerial classes in several cities across the country and at different aerial studios in Kansas City, I'd have to say this place is my absolute favorite. The owner Rachel is so highly knowledgeable about her craft and is very clear in her progressions and instructions. She makes the class so much fun and the rest of the students are all cheering each other on as new skills are unlocked. Even when I was struggling with a particular skill she was able to show an alternative method to get me to complete the move. I look forward to visiting KC every time I make my way back to the Midwest.
Angela “Lucy” Sas: Really loved my time here. I had a Groupon that let me attend classes for about 1.5 months. I learned quite a bit but felt the instructor could have better divided her attention (seemed to focus more on giving feedback to people who have been going for longer or showed more talent/experience). When I embarked on my own study of aerial after my trial was up, I realized the instructor at Voler really didn't cover many important safety cues, which concerns me. I had some bad habits from here that I had to work hard to break. Although for a good times and trying something new, I'd highly recommend checking this place out! Very unique atmosphere and friendly people.
R. J. Smith: My daughter loves the lessons!
Lindsay Hays: Very welcoming and friendly environment. A sense of community for sure! Loved it and will be back!!!
Sue Schmidt: I just can't say it's a comformable place. From bad energy, laughing off dangerous things, to scaterbrained incompetence. Not just laughing to get over something, but laughing like it doesn't matter. After all it goes with the negative energy, ditsy instruction, and disregard for safety
Jadalyn Ransom: Very knowledgeable instructors, and a welcoming environment. I love my experience here!
Amy Schweppe: I have taken classes here for years. It's a great environment to learn in for both beginners and advanced. Classes become like little families and the students and instructors are so supportive of one another. I love that there is encouragement both to play and explore artistically and to excel in your skills.
Justen Obrien (Dunnigan): These guys are a bunch of clowns.
Michelle Maher: I tried Intro to Silks and loved it! Very knowledgeable instructor (Carolyn) and very welcoming environment. Also, I wasn't expecting it to be so, but it was a really good workout. I'll definitely be back. Thank you, Voler!

Power Life Yoga Barre Fitness - South Plaza: what do users think?
Elizabeth F: Bummed that i arrived at 5:45 for a 5:45 class, and the doors were already locked. Come early.
Paige Hull: I took my first class at Powerlife today and it was just what I needed to get back into yoga💛 The owner, Bri and her adorable golden retriever Molly are very friendly and welcoming. I took the power sculpt express class with Mattie and it was challenging in the best way possible! The music was perfect and she gave great instruction. You will leave soaking wet so bring a towel! Needless to say I’m hooked and I can’t wait to take more classes at this studio.
sara thaemlitz: I love this place as the classes are always different and the instructors are amazing. They also have tons of class times to work with anybody's schedule as many studios are very limited. Plus, this place has five locations in KC, which helps contribute to the various times too.
Jenni Busenitz: I love the FIT and sculpt classes!
Jamie Gilson: Before the pandemic, I regularly went to a hot yoga studio in Houston. I am so grateful to Power Life for helping me revive my practice--the community and instructors are so thoughtful and encouraging.

Genevieve Hamel: Finding your place where you feel comfortable to do your yoga can be difficult to find. It’s all about the teachers and how you connect with the way they are teaching the classes. I found that I could pick any classes and any teachers at Power Life and feel good about my choices. I don’t hesitate anymore, I just go for it and feel good. They make me feel good and connected to others. I’m celebrating my 100 classes and just got my annual membership. There’s no questions to ask anymore and love the power life teachers that help me grow in my yoga forms. I’m not perfect, but I show up on my mat, learn, grow and feel good! Thanks Power Life to bring the power in me!
Jack Edwards: Joined Power Life a couple of years ago after my fiance suggested it would help my back pain as I was going to the chiropractor about once a week. These classes have helped build my core and saved a lot of trips (and money) to the chiro. The teachers are amazing and well trained. The facilities are always cleaned right after each class. Classes are spread throughout the day to make it convenient to your schedule. Definitely worth trying out if you like to get a good sweat in but also benefits mental health and breathing!
michele sloan: Great instructors and friendly accepting environment
Dominique Nichols: My favorite place to practice yoga!! They have many different classes that are sure to fit your needs. I love taking yoga classes here because it is the perfect way to get my body moving and feeling good.
Paul Redlingshafer: From the moment you walk in the doors you feel welcome. The facilities are clean, the instructors are knowledgeable, professional, accommodating, and pretty pretty funny to boot. The fellow yogi’s have been pleasant and engaging in their own way.Google only allows 5 starts but I give Power Life 10/10!
Aidan Alemifar: Power life offers a variety of class types and times, and I look forward to working out there almost every day! The yoga classes are relaxing but still offer a good workout, and the sculpt classes push me to challenge myself and grow my practice!
Katy Nall: I absolutely love the Lee's Summit studio! It has changed my life and yoga practice. Love classes with Emily, Cat, Bailee, Ryan, and Tiffany! But seriously, they're all amazing. 10/10 recommend.
Sydney Staehr: From the day I first walked in to PowerLife to my daily experience now years later walking in to PowerLife, it’s clear how strong and authentic the community here is. I love having this safe space to constantly challenge myself and meet new friends. They have a wide variety of class formats and times so I’m always able to find something that works for my busy schedule. 10/10 would recommend this amazing studio and community!
Sasha Minx: The outside merchandising names even a beginner want to venture inside. Great location when it's not too busy with traffic.
Tracy Frickey: I recently tried classes at this studio and am hooked. I love the way I feel after my workouts. Everyone at the studio has been very welcoming and friendly.
Jenna Pleimann: Very nice studio! The environment was very clean and inviting. The instructors were very informative and kind.
Drew Bost: Raving Restore..OMG..Have not gotten out of bed before 11 AM. IM up at 5.
