Kauffman Stadium: what do users think?
Rodney Jones: Getting as many games in as I can. I will not go to anymore games after they move.
Wayne Frazier: Friday night fireworks are great
Chris Zamora: Love Baseball
Riley Lyons: Great Park. With great views. Really no complaints.
Margaret “Marty” Martin: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PARK!! I have visited four other MLB parks and this park is by far the number 1 park as far as having the best views when your seats are by the dugouts. It just has an overall more friendly environment and friendly atmosphere. I am an extrovert and more so when I have a few cold ones and everyone loves to interact and talk smack!! The employees are the best and everyone is so accommodating and friendly!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
jeffrey kuske: Royals could be a little better but they're rebuilding. As far as the stadium goes, if it ain't broke don't fix it! Absolutely nothing wrong with Kauffman and don't understand why they want to go downtown where it's already congested.
Allison Singley: The stadium is clean, the service is friendly, and security is good.
Brad Peuster: My son and I had a great time. In fact, he was chosen as the "play ball " kid for Friday's game. It is a memory that both of us will never forget.
Freddie Weisshaar: Excellent place for fun and have good food
Michael Miller: Love this stadium! Wish the food wasn't so outlandishly high!!
Jason Hayden: Cool looking stadium!!
Donna Villani: Angles won
Ric Smith: Can't use cash and have to use kiosks that don't work so I went to get an employee so I can pay for a beer and brat and they were so annoyed that I bothered them to pay. I literally saw 2 people with arms full of food leave and not pay. Guess thats how they justify $13 beers!
Debbie Bolig: Loved the atmosphere of this stadium Aaron at section 111 was by far the most lively and entertaining
Donna Ruege: Went to the game wuth granddaughters dance school
Michael Andrews (Halfnhalfkid): Cool stadium but the team they put out is hot garbage.
Emma Ishmael: I've been going to games here for 10-12 years, 6 of those with a baby under 2. Finally visited the mother's room this trip and wish I would've in the past. Air conditioning and rocking chairs for mom's who need to feed their babies! The kid's outfield experience is nice. Free playground and they added a splash pad. However, adding some sort of shade structure over the playground would be a good idea. It was too hot on the slides. There are also activities you can pay $2 each.Love that they let you bring unopened water or sports drink in, as well as food! Makes it much more affordable for families.
Khufu Haki: a job for my Sun
GG Ford: Fun fun fun!I love the crowd, tge easygoing atmosphere, the tailgate experience & the game! Lots for kids & grownups to do.
Sam Carrell: Go royals ,it's always a great day for the K
Byron Bruce: I've been coming to the K since i could walk. I don't remember the stadium crew being impolite or unwelcoming per se. But this time, they were all so very welcoming. Every employee i came across it seemed. Everyone said hello or greeted me. Even the usually apathetic food vendors were much nicer than I remembered. Brought my father for Father's Day, and it was a wonderful experience. And to top it off, the Royals came back and won in stunning fashion!

Hy-Vee Arena: what do users think?
George (Everbruz): Pretty cool place for some bball. I think it hasn't been cleaned in a while. I think I saw a drink I spilled at a Garth Brooks concert in the 90s. Overall. Good place for some sports tourneys.
Paige Sowell: Great facility. The inside courts of the top floor are difficult to see and it can get very stuffy up in the seating area.
Darryl Coker: This used to be called kemper arena. This is where I saw my first concert earth wind and fire
Karolyn Shikles: Good place for H.S. graduations. Parking directions aren't the best and traffic can be a problem.
Dennis Madrid: Pretty nice store, got som deli food and had a picnic in the parking lot.
Marsha Harris: Amazing basketball facility.
Amy Stout: It was a great place to have a graduation and it also was big enough for it. Very beautiful as well and had alot of things u could get inside or by the front doors.
Mr. BretS.: CONGRATULATIONS PARK HILL TROJANS AND NCC CLASS OF 2023!!!!!! Arena not so congrats, seats to far away couldn't see and volume way to low couldn't hear! Same complaints both Saturday and Sunday. Not a good place for graduations! Wait parking was good with no problems..... Kemper Arena did rock back in the day!
Kate Johnson: Great place
Karen Vice: Plenty of parking and clean arena
Heather .Heater: Nice facility. Came for a graduation and seating as nice. There were some poorly executed plans, though. I don't know if it was the arena, the school, a combination of the two. It was not clear how handicap was supposed to get up to the second floor. It was not clear that you were not supposed to sit on the bottom, and the parking was absolutely terrible. There were no parking attendees, and it took more than an hour to exit the parking lot.Again, the facility was, it was clean, and it was ideal for a graduation of that size.
Jason Frank: It's an arena, full of steel and concrete. It's that you do there that matters.
AquaticFlowable: PHS excellence
will c: The venue is nice, but could use better directing of parking in the lots. Most congestion in the parking lots and roads was lack of knowing which lot were full and everyone driving all over all them to figure out there was parking further around back. And this was the only parking lot left. What should have most likely taken 15 to 20 minutes to park took over 45 minutes due to driving through already full areas that could have been corded off or had traffic direct to by a person to the quickest path to the only parking available. I arrived a half hour earlier than venue start time and was still late to get inside on time. An easy fix just has to be done by venue staff.
Tania Loew: terrible traffic and parking. Not large enough for high school graduation.
Kevin Smith: Pretty big place. Lots of parking. The food was square and the Masonic graduation took forever. Needs some light renovations.
Aaron Fee: Park Hill 2023 graduating class Mason Slayden
Ronald Yeater: Nice place
Tobi San Agustin: Parking was a nightmare, and the inside needs renovated
Melissa Burton: Not sure where to park or doors to go in. Lot of walking

Go Ape Zipline and Adventure Park: what do users think?
Amanda Miller: Helpful staff. Super fun courses. Highly recommend. Perfect for a date.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More
Bill Beckham: Very neat concept. Definitely not worth the high prices. Most all of the obstacles are the same. The cable is typically right in the way and in your face. Probably worth $20. Also, not for tall people.
wendy schaffer-nash: We love this place!! Challenging and fun all at the same time!! I’ve taken my teenagers numerous times.
MsSusumom: Josie was awesome as well as the other employees we spoke with. Can't wait to go back with the younger kids.
catrice Pinks: Super fun!! Will definitely be going back
Abigail Demaree: The course was really fun, and after looking at other places, the cost was great. I absolutely loved the zip line side! But, the course is not suitable for tall people. I wish that there was some disclosure on that. I am 5'10 and my husband is 6'1. We kept getting stuck in the fisherman's traps and I hit my head soo many times. We landed on our butts everytime we finished a zipline, simply because the "run way" wasn't lon enough and the mulch was too high for our height. Other tall people in the same time group as us where also struggling. Because of my height, the rope often rubbed across our necks and shoulders while we were on different obstacles. It's a really fun course, but I gave up after the 4th stage because I was tired of hitting my head and hurting my shoulder. It was a honeymoon adventure for my husband and I, so the fact that it wasn't made for our height ( his height is pretty average) was disappointing. To top it off, we had trainees in our group, and our instructor, Dom, spent a lot of time picking on them instead of helping us. The instructors seemed super immature, it's great they where having fun, but threatening to rip someone's face off and making fun of eachother during instruction, that's a bit much. Also, the trainees seemed super uncomfortable with the exchange as well. So if you are having trouble retaining staff, this might be why. Also, our instructor disappeared part way through, so we had to go find a different group to get help.
Betty B: Perfect spot for our 11-year-old birthday party. Our group consisted on ages 10-50 and everyone had a blast(15 of us). We grabbed one of the two picnic tables on site in the shade and were able to setup our little birthday picnic. I loved the training course and the time the instructor took with the kiddos.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $31+ …More
Es Ri: Dom was our guide and he was very upfront and kind!!!! I struggled with some of the courses but he was patient and helpful with me. Definitely recommend goape especially if you’re not afraid of heights, the whole team was very helpful and it was a super cool experience overall. You guys rock thank you!!! Julia Daily: I don’t have a similar experience to compare this to, but this was very fun! Be prepared for a LOT of WORK climbing up the narrow enclosures to get to the platforms in the trees. That is an athletic activity, for sure. Someone who is under 40 and is in reasonable athletic condition will find it a lot easier than what I did. Standing in the trees, looking around, walking across the challenging course between trees, and then zipping down to the next station was enough fun to make that hard work pay off.In “Tree Top Adventure” there are five different courses, each one being more difficult than the one before. If you’re used to climbing lots of stairs regularly, you probably won’t have trouble with the climbing. Such is not the case for me, and it was even harder work than I anticipated. My legs were pretty wobbly after climbing up, and that made walking across from tree to tree even more challenging. For my 27-year old nephew, it was work, though fairly easy for him. His challenge was that he is over 6 feet tall, and the climbing spaces are pretty tight. Our instructor, Dom, was friendly, helpful and encouraging whenever someone had difficulty with a particular challenge or with understanding the equipment. The instruction was good, though I felt that manipulating the trolley through some spots was a little more difficult than it needed to be; you have to work with moving it at various angles before it makes sense and the trolley will pass through to the next section. I felt safe the whole time, and I was surprised that I enjoyed the heights as much as I did. It’s important to know your physical limits and to take your time between each of the courses. As I was concerned for an old injury of mine, and I was very tired, I finished after 3 of the 5 stations, and I felt perfectly fine about accomplishing that! I had fun watching the rest of the group work harder than what I wanted to. Watching them do the Tarzan swing was fun, and they seemed to love it. The very last zip line down to the ground was the longest, and it made me wish I hadn’t gotten so tired.Important: Drink lots of water, because you will sweat a lot!
Chris Godfrey: Incredible idea and place. Staff was very friendly, informative and helpful, which i needed because i have a fear of heights (and this was a good challenge to face that fear).
Justus Cole: Awesome place. We did the long tree top adventure. Took us about 1.5 hours. We had an absolute blast. Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty! Great place
Victoria Harris: Me and my family loved this!
Charlie Z: It was fun. We did the Axe throwing. She killed it she hit the target over 12times. I didn't get 1 in. Lol fun times
Jen A: We had so much fun here today! The staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend trying this. We will have to go again sometime.
Melinda Hageman: We had a blast! We did the Treetop Adventure and definitely got our money's worth. It was challenging but not impossible. We hope to bring our kids back to the easier/shorter one sometime. Only complaint is that the zipline landings were a little rough.
Krista Westerkamp: Very unreliable. We made our reservation and paid beforehand. They sent several emails and we signed our waivers. The day we showed up for our adventure with 2 very excited kiddos they informed us they were understaffed and our reservation was cancelled. They kept the adult zip line open however. Did not offer to make the situation right whatsoever by offering us a different time or any accommodation after we blocked out our morning and spent money on gas. Very disappointing and heartbreaking for kiddos especially.
Ashley Emory: Very unprofessional they canceled my son’s 5th birthday party 2 hours before it was supposed to start due to staffing issues. They didn’t have enough staff to have both adventures open at the same time so they had to close one which is totally understandable because safety is vital but again they chose to keep the 10 & up adventure open as opposed to the all ages. In my opinion that was totally unfair and none of the staff displayed any sort of compassion, they were rude about it and didn’t even try to come up with a different solution.
ANDYJO 1979: The experience was good but they are under staffed and they had electrical issues with their lights. I belive the experience would have been better during the day.
ANTHONY H: Wife and I just went there today for our 17th anniversary. She's been once before and today was my first time. It was a heck of a workout and a lot of fun. I've had 3 knee surgeries and I'm going to be sore for a couple of days most likely but it was a great way to celebrate an anniversary. Staff was awesome. Tarzan obstacle was down due to them being short staffed but ther than that it was a great experience.
LaWanda Lamar: Looks like fun for the kids and adults. Not thrilled about $9 gloves per person required to purchase.
seth dobson: Park was nice. Just obstacle courses no long distance zip lining. Staff was great. Timothy was awesome with our party and helping others.

Diane Yzar: Fun place for the entire family. We arrived soon after a thunderstorm. Many rides were shut down for about an hour. Many people were kept away due to recent rains. That kept lines short and more enjoyable for us.
Riley Lyons: Wow.... What a terrible amusement park. Cedar Fair really just takes your money and doesn't care if you have fun or if the rides are safe. Some of the rides are incrediblely rough and ride operators barley check safety belts and lap bars. My wife's seat belt wasn't checked on the timberwolf. A ride that killed someone in the 90's. Also the Mamba was so rough on the return it hurt my back. Bad enough I'm still dealing with pain almost two weeks later. This park has multiple world themes much like Epcot but a rinky dink version. Theming was sparse and only visual employees were just there to take money and push buttons. Several rides were down throughout the day. The food was chicken fingers and burgers at every vendor. Or you can pay 4x the regular price for panda Express or the parks version of Chipotle. Overall I'm never returning to this park.Price for entry: $65.00
Karl Cochran: Visited on WeekdayMore
Ryan Murphy: Not a great experience. 2023 WOF is not the same as 1990 WOF. Parking is a ridiculously $30. Half the rides were broken. The shops and games are expensive and seriously lacking. Basic carnival vibe. The bigger roller coasters were great but not enough of them due to 60% of rides being out of order. The hours of operation got cut down along with half of their food vendors. No more turkey legs, nachos, or churros. Basically chicken strips or pizza are your choices. ☹️ Half of their rides and water features are closed as well. No more aqua obsticale course or Monsoon either. One good thing to note is they added a killer pot roast to the menu at sand dune diner.

Vince Benedetto: I appreciate all the work the staff put into taking care of all the critters!!Had a great experience, been upwards of 15 years since I visited and overall enjoyable. This time gap gives me an interesting perspective now, after so many years of projects and upgrades. Knowing there's tons of money being pumped into the zoo overall helps my feelings, but still feel the need to express thisI was tremendously under-impressed by the lack of relatively recent monies and updates put into the whole North sector of the Zoo. All the old cat/bear cages are great ideas for reuse, free and easy to throw smaller mnkeys, cats and birds in there. But it's 90% identical to my childhood in the 90's and I left that area disappointed. Felt like they were all relegated to that area, while the spotlight shines on the more popular animals.

Matt Tessier: I hate to leave a three star review. It’s an impressive zoo, and we saw some cool things, but the ride situation is out of control. It seems like everything is a paid “add-on” once you get inside after having paid a high admission price. The train ride was probably 100 yards and the “tram ride” takes you like 150 ft, and after you pay for that, you find out it’s not round trip! Then the sky ride is extra money…then the carousel is extra money….then the boat ride is extra money…then feeding the stingrays is extra money. Felt extorted once inside. Very sad to leave such a review for my wife’s childhood zoo, because there are some good memories there, but the ride situation is unfortunate

Alexis Donnelly: First thing I noticed walking in this zoo was trash in the turtle pond. Was a bit unsettling. There was a lot more than I would have liked to see. Most animals looked unhappy. My biggest pet peeve was the straws they give you for the slushies. Someone in corporate really needs to know about that. The tiny straws are not appropriate for large slushies at all. The guy working the ski-lift could use an attitude change. Soley giving 4 stars based off of memories with family. Seriously though the straw thing was a visible problem for everyone who had one.

Breakout KC Escape Room | River Market: what do users think?
Allie Vo: My boyfriend and I went for my birthday and it was a blast! Our guide Elio was essential to our amazing experience: they were patient and professional but also incredibly friendly and full of energy even though we came in at the last possible slot of the day. The escape room itself was extremely immersive and I was very hooked on the storyline. The puzzles were super fun and clever but manageable; both my boyfriend and I haven’t been to escape rooms for a while but we scrambled our way out just on time. Overall I highly recommend Breakout KC, this is a really good way to spend an hour with your loved ones.
Jennifer Konstantinidou: Me and my friends went there for a nice afternoon trip and It was a lot of fun. Ellio was a great game master!
Luka Hardesty: Willow is the BEST
Josalynm Johnson: It was so much fun. Willow was really helpful with the hints and he was really respectful. He is such a blessing to have him help us in our times of need
MilkyWay Productions: I had such a great time and my experience was made all the better by our fabulous host willow

Brandon Forrest Frederick: Willow rocked!
Nichole Gress: We had so much fun- we did 2 rooms back to back and escaped them both! Room 213 and Hero! Props to our game guides Ryn and Ollie!

Brad Kelly: Jules was amazing. Highly recommend
Gabriel Orrico: Willow did a great job!
Madisen Orrico: Willow helped us breakout! We had so much fun!
Alexis Jones: I’ve been to breakout KC many times and this was one of my best experiences! Our Game Guide Elio was so friendly and overall amazing! We had a great time in room Patient 57, and made it out with 33 seconds to spare!
Samantha Buehrig: Elio was the best!! We had an amazing time. We’ll definitely be back again.
Kaiya Lynch: My group and I had a great time at Breakout KC. Telly was a wonderful host and gave us the best clues, without them we wouldn’t have made it out in time 😂
Charles Helms: My first time doing an escape room and I had so much fun! Tuesday was an excellent facilitator and helped make the experience great.
Joscelyn Delatorre: It was very fun!!! Quynh was also an amazing guide :)
Martha Delatorre: Came in with the family to do “The Hero”, 10/10 super fun and had great little surprises the more you progress. We had the sweetest game guide helping us when we needed a nudge, thanks Quynh!
Chelsea Law: This place is amazing! It's only gotten better in the five years that we've been going there. Mikayla was a great game master, and Matchday Mayhem was one of the best rooms I've ever done. We went back the next day and did another one (The Hero) with Elio, and it was also incredible! Elio helped us out splendidly! Check this place out!

Kaleidoscope: what do users think?
Wylie Momma: Great, free place to take kids. It was definitely better and more aesthetically pleasing before they remodeled it, but still a neat thing for kids to do and you can't beat free.Visited on Weekday Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry Free …More
K: I love that it’s free and gives kids the opportunity to be creative with all sorts of different art materials. I would highly recommend checking it out if you have kids. Be sure to book tickets online though because spots fill up fast. You can’t just show up and get a same day ticket. They have a certain amount of guests per time a lot. It is wheelchair accessible and stroller friendly so when you go in you can just park your stroller near the pictures of clouds and you don’t have to worry about it. They should give you a 2 hour free parking pass. Be sure that you are parking in the right area beforehand though. I parked in the wrong parking garage and had to pay full price.

Michelle Carmody: Awesome , free, interactive exhibit for kids under 14. Susan at the front desk is so kind and helpful. Highly recommend.

Amanda Donovan: I wasn’t expecting things to look so dull and sterile. This isn’t what I recall from my childhood. I was really excited to get an opportunity to finally take my 5YO, based on what I remember. There wasn’t much to do besides draw on different cuts of paper with dried out markers, water color that was murky from kids not rinsing their brushes, and melted crayon wax. All the stations looked almost exactly the same, minus one space that had a wheel of fabric. I recall the space with a much more whimsical feel to it, now it’s just white and minimalist with a little bit of color. It makes me think it was designed with Ikea products? It’s very underwhelming. My 5YO struggled to stay focused, as all stations were almost identical. I could tell she wasn’t that thrilled because when she is engaged and excited, I struggle to pull her away, and she sometimes becomes upset (this happens at Science City a lot—she LOVES it. We had time to stop by after thankfully and utilize our membership passes). We walked out with no issue, she could care less.Disappointed to say the least. I know it’s free, but considering the waitlist is weeks long, I was anticipating her to experience the same magic I seem to recall from my childhood, like many fellow KC Native reviewers before me had mentioned. I don’t feel like she experienced that feeling, and felt no inspiration to create—nor did I to come up with creative ideas with her. Very much unlike her, she loves to craft and create! Maybe if a more similar theme to the old one had been designed in the remodel, she’d have enjoyed herself more. This is for kids, after all. I don’t feel like the current look sparks creativity as the old look did. Maybe I’m just being too reminiscent. The staff was very friendly though, so 5/5 for them.
Alasha Rainez: Loved this as a kid and can't wait for my son age 2 gets to go experience it soon. I'll be booking soon for him.
marina coon: My son loved it so much! Can't wait to take my daughter
dalton thomas: We took the kids out for fun but by far we loved it just as much
Cecil Bills: This an awesome interactive art shop for young children. The only limits is their imagination .
Queen Bree: Love this place
Krystina Tiger: A fun free thing to do with kids, I was expecting a little more but for not paying anything I can't complain.
SterlingJamie Bryant: Really enjoy coming to Kaleidoscope! They are definitely giving kids a great experience with creative arts and crafts, and free of charge at that!As a parent, I did find there to be a little less variety since they remodeled during the pandemic. I heard from the front desk that is more friendly to kids on the spectrum in different ways. I definitely support that. One of favorite stations that my kids enjoyed was the watercolors, on the back corner of the room. They even made hats! When we visited most recently, we were walk ins. I do suggest doing your best to reserve a time slot ahead of time.I would also advise coming earlier in the day. Their last session begins at 2:30p and ends at 3:20p.The front desk is less likely to help you enter as a walk in towards the end of the day but if you arrive before the beginning of a session, you are more likely to grab a spot as long as you have your kiddos with you!I will be coming back again with my wife and kids very soon and I recommend Kaleidoscope to anyone with kids that lives within driving distance of Kansas City, keeping in mind that there are many other things to do and places to visit within Crown Center and downtown KC.Atmosphere:5Family Experience:5Friendliness of Staff:4.5Homeschooling Activity:5
Zach Hyatt: Was incredibly disappointed. I remember this place being colorful and abstract and you knew what to do at the stations. There was neon lights you could color. Now it’s just so basic and minimal to no color. It’s all just coloring station with markers that don’t work. Save for a small wax station and water color paint area. It was awful. We left before our time session was even up. We were bored and didn’t know what to do or make. They used to have station that you could make different crafts at and you were actually learning to make something now it’s just paper and fading markers.
Becca Shideler: 14, 10, 8, and 4 year old all had fun at this place. O and us parents too! So many fun activities for the kids to do, and completely free! Only thing is make sure and get your tickets in advance. My kids left with so many new creations. They even had fun games for the kids to play if they were tires of arting. 10 year old made a chicken beak, that has made its way into a special spot so it wouldn't get crushed. 14 and 4 year old left with capes. But the 8 year old got the best prize of all she got a special Birthday sticker! She told the staff her birthday was tomorrow, and the brought out this cute sticker for her to wear.
kelsey guiot: It has completely changed, lost of coloring stations, a small puzzle making machine, water coloring station, wax drip station but that's pretty much it. Nice bathrooms. I recommed calling ahead to reserve a spot or at least to know when they are letting people in. You only have so long before your session is done btw i didn't know it was a limited time. All and all clean and open... but it was more fun when i was a kid, more to do anyway.
Kris Bever: We really enjoyed our visit. Our kids had a good time and so did we.
Michael DePriest Sr.: Long time Kansas City staple I took my grandson. I remember going as a child.
kmhemeyer: We had an okay time. It wasnt the same experience that i remember as a child although they had similar components. Very open ended. For me as a parent i would like to know what i should be doing at each station to help guide my young chidren. They just scribbled on odd shapped paper and then did the same at the next station. My kids rated it a 4. I would say 2 because we can do the same activities at home.
Amanda Quisenberry: Went today and my daughter loved it she is 6. But I remember going as a child and even a few years back when I babysit other children and it was so much more magical and the decor was more fun. I’m not a fan of the minimalist look they have going on there from the remodel. I was hoping they would have made it a lot more magical and artistic like it was when I was a kid. I miss the black lights in the room as well which was my favorite part.
