Cassandra Rogers: Scheduling an appointment was a headache. After my appointment, I was very disappointed with the billing after trying to get on a payment plan. For one appointment it was almost $600 and after insurance, it was still over 300. I called to make arrangements to pay my balance and was told if I didn’t pay a certain amount. They were just sending me on to collections instead of trying to work with me. They care more about money. Which is so sad. Patient care is what should matter. Their rates are expensive. The woman I spoke to was unkind and unprofessional. Dr. Lu is intelligent and the sonographer was kind but from someone that works in healthcare. I am disappointed and ashamed. I would not recommend this facility.

Anand Patel: There are no words to describe the appreciation I have for Dr Lu, he caught something in my sons heart that the cardiologists at Children’s Mercy were surprised that he even noticed.Instead of giving birth at North KC hospital and having him rushed to Children’s Mercy Hospital for emergency surgery. We had all of my wife’s appointments were at childrens mercy after that, we planned my sons birth, his surgery, it took place on schedule.There are no words, no amount of money, there is nothing I can do or say that will be enough to express how grateful I am.By the way this was almost three years ago and I feel the same way, in-fact I am more grateful today than ever.

Cody Cox: My wife went in on April 25, she was treated like a less than a human by one of the extremely rude radiology techs. The tech treated my wife like garbage and accosted her about every bit of information my wife was trying to pass along. When my wife confronted her, she (the tech) simply said “I’m moving you to the other room to see the doctor”. I would call this rude, unprofessional individual out by name, but she didn’t even have the courtesy to give my wife her name. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless the practice starts screening personnel for some customer service. I and my family unfortunately have to go where my doctors on base send my referrals. Really disappointed, this establishment should be ashamed of the way this lady, and I’m using the term loosely because this was no lady treated her patient. If you want to be rude find a new profession, or better yet telework somewhere that you have no human contact.

John and Leslie Marts: We were so pleased with our experience at our first appointment. They were all so kind and made you feel so comfortable being there. Dr. Lu and his staff were very knowledgeable and everyone went beyond what we imagined. The process from check in to check out was so smooth and the feedback, both in the appointment and after, was provided with ease.

Angela Girard: Front staff is exceptionally unprofessional. Arrived for my appointment 3 minutes late and was treated like a red headed step child. Very disappointed. I spoke with the staff on my way and made sure they were aware I was going to be a few minutes late. Once I arrived there were 5-6 members all standing behind the front desk carrying on a conversation. I checked in and the staff immediately dispersed and I was told I couldn't be seen. I was the only patient in the entire lobby and it was first thing in the morning. As a high risk patient with a due date in 25 days I was very unsatisfied with how this ended. I have went to my appointments and waited in the lobby for over 45 minutes before. Should I have let them know me waiting for so long was unprofessional? I believe front staff needs to attend Customer Service Seminars and be certified before speaking down to pregnant women. Especially when they are the first representation you see when walking into the office.Techs and Dr. Lou have always been exceptional.

Mia Madam: Front staff is horrible. Always rude. I’ve never walked in once and seen them doing anything but talking in a group. Hate coming to these appointments just because of checking in. Pregnancy should be exciting, especially when knowing you’ll be seeing your little one soon and you’re high risk. Ladies in back who do all the work and the Dr. Are always wonderful. If it weren’t for getting photos And videos I wouldn’t go just because of the front staff.

Calen Dyer: Dr. Lu was very kind and was very informative about what I should expect and if I need to be worried about anything and gave me advice for anything I should do differently or add. And the ultrasound tech, she was so kind and funny during the ultrasound. She was also so very patient to deal with my ornery baby moving so much.

Becky Kruse: My husband’s insurance had a lap of coverage due to a change in jobs therefore I made my appointment under Self Pay to keep the suggested timeline of all baby check ups. This is especially important to me being as my first child has a terminal illness of the kidneys. I received a cost quote over the phone upon confirmation of my first scheduled appointment of $330. After becoming ill with covid and having to reschedule I was then quoted another price. Not at too much of a difference but was assured price accuracy. When I arrived for my appointment today I was informed the cost was $453. I refused to continue with my appointment though the lady in the office who greeted me was polite In working on this matter but sadly to no avail. Though she apologized on behalf of the office for the errors I do not recommend the High Risk Pregnancy Center due to the unprofessional treatment for expectant mothers. My time is valuable as well as my support persons time and it was wasted today. Three different price quotes and no solution offered. Makes me wonder how they bill insurance companies if they can’t manage a simple self pay.

Crystal Hendershot: Doctor Lou was amazing really answered our questions before we could even ask them. Two negatives though the nurse that took us back was kinda rude and snotty, and also the scent things they have going everywhere made me extremely nauseous with how strong of an over powering o smell they have. And they had at least two of them going at once it was crazy to me.

A good person: Your chairs are better than before for handicap people. They do need chairs with arms. I hate to complain and you may not even be able to make it better...the step up on the sidewalk is hard to navigate if you walk with a cane..I nearly fell trying to get up on the step up from sidewalk. Other than this I have been coming there for years and I ageingI'm sure there are others that may have this problem. Other than that you all are great.😊 will try to see you next year.... glad you are there...i saw no improvement from my last visit i stood in little in litle room no chairs with arms can not get up without arms on chairs may have to start going to liberty mo. I was told would be better. No ramp to get on side walk.

Justin Chilcoat-Barron: The lady didn’t know what she was doing took an hour and half of imagining straight just to find out she didn’t get but a couple picture that could be sent to us . She was very rough on my wife’s tummy and would of had her lay down three times because of user error . We had a local sonogram that we personally paid for and had a great experience with a knowledgeable tech . We needed this one for formalityDon’t waist your time or risk dealing with an inexperienced heavy handed tech and just a few pictures to show after over an hour . Oh and was given a disclaimer we may have to come back if the heart pictures are not good enough for the doc…We won’t be going back .

M Cardenas: I walked in to this new place to get an ultra sound for the possible due date. And other health concerns. The office was beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly untill I got into the ultra sound room. I waited Total of 5min before being called in. When I walked in the room the lady asked me questions and started to go rate to work. When I asked a question or I said one word she kepted shouting and getting frustrated with me and kept telling me don't talk don't talk. I have had many ultra sounds before in many diffrent places over the years and every ultra sound technician always described what they were doing and was very gental with there words and hands. I'm NOT a talkative person but this women made me feel like I was in a controlled room where I was not able to ask what's going on to my body. She made me feel like I didn't understand MY BODY nor HOW I get pregnant. She proceeded after to give me a 15min lecture on how an egg comes from the ovary. And how a baby is made when clearly I know the process better than most! Then try to push me into doing an internal ultra sound after I clearly told her the last one I had years ago was very traumatic and I would rather not do one if it wasn't needed. She would not print a picture of the baby out for me and told me we don't do that here. but printed it out for the dr to see. And I just had to take a phone picture. She questioned me as if I was lieing. And degraded my midwife who sent me to her. Saying she could not have anytype of equipment like that because they are to expensive. And other small things. I will not ever be going back to this place! One good note is the dr came in at the end and was very sweet, humble, and kind, and caring. She listened attentively and answered my questions with respect and let me get my questions out without interruption. Due to the way the technician treated me I will not be coming back to that place! And will warn my midwife about it as well.

Doctors, technicians and staff are top notch. In the multiple times I have been there I have always been treated with the utmost caring and respect.

Pamela Simpson: I've gone to Imaging for Women for an annual mammogram for the last 15 years. A few years ago we discussed a lump in my breast at my appointment. I was told it was nothing to cause concern, but to let them know if it got larger or became painful. A couple of years later, it did both. I brought it to the attention of my family practice doctor. She sent me back with an urgent request. After my mammogram was done, the doctor came in and said, "We are NOT going to keep looking at the same spot every year. There's nothing wrong with you." She walked out of the room as I was telling her it's larger and it hurt's now, but that was the end of my appointment. It was also the end of my patient relationship with Imaging For Women, which is upsetting. I feel I have no choice but to find a new place with staff who know how to listen proactively and are understanding and informative.

She personally came back to chat with me about this rather than having the technician speak to me. She thoroughly explained what she had seen and suggested that I have a diagnostic scan done. Her calm manner and explanation made a stressful situation so much easier. After viewing the 2nd scan, she spoke with me again to discuss the options. Lizz Ketzner-Bluhm: Finding out we were possibly having another baby was a big surprise, we were told about Parkville Women’s Clinic being a great resource and at the time I wasn’t established with an OBGYN so it was going to be a while before I could get in to confirm the pregnancy and have an ultrasound. They got me in with them, no need for insurance or out of pocket cost to me, they gave tons of resources, information, set me up with prenatal vitamins, asked me judgement free about birth control and plans for this baby and then helped me get on their program that sends a little weekly lesson tied to pregnancy/delivery/parenting and when I completed them, I got to pick up either a pack of diapers and wipes or an outfit or two or blankets etc. to help us prepare for our baby girl’s arrival. They legitimately cared about me and our family, they offer basic health care and resources to meet real needs and they bring dignity to women in the process with true love and kindness through practical need-meeting and I couldn’t rave about them enough, I highly recommend them!

kennie Nova: Terrible experience. Where do I start. First, if you’re pro choice or not Christian, run. They give you this tiny creepy baby at a certain weeks gestation that is 100% inaccurate and pushing the pro life bias. They talk about how if you’re not finding out the gender of the baby they’ll say “he” since “we’re all made from Adams rib”. It’s creepy. I said we were not finding out the gender and explained how my friend would be bringing the correct colored onesie to the hospital after we give birth so we could announce to friends, and we were met with nasty glares and the man literally shook his head and said “that’s weird and doesn’t make sense”. Excuse you?? I brought my children with me and the lady said they could play in the play area while the sonogram went on. I said I’d like them with us and watching, the whole reason I brought them was to be involved. She kept pushing that the children didn’t care and they should go away. Rude. Here’s the icing on the cake. After making it VERY clear we did not want to know the gender, they emailed me with the photos taken during the session and in those photos it SAYS THE GENDER. I went back to the email and did see before opening the email it says in TINY print that the pictures MIGHT contain the gender. But I missed that and I don’t think that should even be an option if you’ve clearly had a gender surprise session. Why would I have a sonogram and then not be able to look at the photos because you wrote the gender all over them? Makes zero sense. This was our last baby and they took that surprise away from us. We had waited almost 7 months without knowing the gender. And they ruined that all in one afternoon. We had a horrible experience. Wasn’t enjoyable at all. Would not recommend this place. Run.

Gretchen Harris: Our family had a wonderful afternoon at Kansas 4D. The atmosphere is welcoming and homey, and everyone was so kind. Our ultrasound tech tried a number of different angles to get a good picture when our little one was being sleepy and hiding his face. We got a number of super sweet images. Jessica Vazquez: I absolutely love this place! This is my second time coming for this pregnancy and both times have been amazing!! Both, Dennis & Cindy, are extremely sweet people! They have the cutest boutique store inside along with a place almost like Build-A-Bear to place your babies heart beat in a stuffed animal! Which I did my first time coming (they let my corgi come in too.. isn’t that awesome?!) The package I got both times were 100% worth the money because of the many 3D pictures they send you, along with a video of the entire appointment. I’d recommend this place to any & everyone!!!
