Donna Kates: Have been going since 1972 I've had to bicker with my Drs.& Insurance Co.'s. over the years about sending my meds. To Spalitoes when I was locked-in with my health plan at a chain pharmacy.It took 6 months last time and it won't happen again . In nearly 50 yrs. I've only had to wait 1 day ,I time to get my script filled. They deliver for free and will work with ya on anything insurance doesn't pay so you don't go without medicine. Chains wouldn't even listen to your problem or consider going to the extent Spalitoes does. N.E.Would be lost without them .

Meghan Russell: I have never had worse experiences at a pharmacy than I do every single time I go here. Switching pharmacies because of terrible service. My husband had a prescription sent in the morning and it was not filled by the evening. 5 minutes before they closed and they asked him to come back tomorrow because they couldn’t fill it today. Feel horrible for the people who have urgent medication needs and can’t get them because of the horrible service.
Caitlin Nilges: If you’re physically at the store, it’s fine. Staff is courteous and kind. The pharmacy has their hours posted so you know when they’ll be at lunch etc, and I’ve never had to wait longer than the posted time for them to return. You may have a line at the pharmacy but I think they do work hard to keep everyone moving.My issue is when you call, you get hung up on. Every single time. You call the front, they put you on hold, and it hangs up. You call the pharmacy directly, get put on hold, it hangs up. Not sure if it’s just this store or Walgreens generally, but it’s an incredibly frustrating problem.

I have a new insurance provider, United HeathCare, and had to switch from CVS in Brookside, which is not a contracted pharmacy, to the Walgreens on 75th and Wornall. I called on Saturday morning at 9 am and was told they would call CVS and have my prescription transferred. I went to pick it up inside the store at 1:00 pm, waited in line for 30 minutes, gave all of my insurance information and was told it was still not ready. She sent me to the pharmacist's window who confirmed my information and said he would call me when it was ready. I heard nothing back.I called on Sunday again when they opened and was on hold for 75 minutes. She said it was not ready because I needed a new insurance card. I explained the card was my new insurance card and it should work because the doctor prescribing the medicine had used it. She said the pharmacist would give me a call back. I received a call at 3:30 from the pharmacist who had me give him all of my insurance information again and said it was still not going through. He told me he was going to call them to confirm my insurance and would give me a call back. Crickets....Monday was a holiday and my insurance company was not answering.On Tuesday, I called my insurance company who confirmed that CVS had requested my prescription, but NOTHING had come through from Walgreens. I then called Walgreens and was on hold for 45 minutes. I was then greeted by a woman who talked over me the whole time and again said I needed a new insurance card. I explained that the card is valid and repeated my information, for the third time. She proceeded to tell me the member group number was wrong in their system and said she would resubmit it. I explained that I had called my insurance and retrieved the pharmacy phone number if she would like for me to give it to her. She said "No, we don't need it" and then said, "thanks, bye" and hung up.I waited 2 hours and showed up to pick up my prescription. I went directly to the pharmacy's window. I was again told that my card did not work. Before I could say anything she started talking to another team member behind the counter and ignored me. When she was done she said now what is your name again. When I told her she said, "I have your information right here to call, have a seat and I will get to you when I can." At this point I was so frustrated that I told her I did not want to take a seat because I had already spent enough time trying to get this prescription filled, that I had called my insurance and they had assured me they were not receiving anything from Walgreens and I was happy to stay right there at the window while she made the call. She was rude and not interested in my request so I told her to cancel my prescription because I was going to have it filled somewhere else. She responded with "I told you to sit down and I will call them." So I just left.I will NEVER go back to that Walgreens and will avoid going to another Walgreens as long as I can help it. So upsetting..... I had to call my doctor and have her resend the prescription to another pharmacy and reschedule my follow up appointment because it has now taken 5 days to get an allergy ointment we needed to monitor for 30 days.If you have UHC and need a pharmacy in Brookside or Waldo Area. A different pharmacy technician told me they would have to order the prescription and I would have to buy the Over the counter medicine with no discount applied. They literally let people drop off prescriptions in the drive through and then wait 15-30 minutes while those are filled rather than asking them to pull out of the lane and wait somewhere else. I can’t go in the store right now, I just need to pickup a prescription. Inside is always dirty. I don’t come to this store unless absolutely necessary. If I go to hell it will be this store.Edit; it’s worse than ever. I’m literally stepping around junkies on the way in.The inside of this store positively stinks like unwashed humans. It’s filthy. The parking lot is atrocious. They closed the good one on Troost and left us with this dump.

From “losing” a prescription, to filing a false dispense, to mistyping a providers number and accusing me of submitting fake prescriptions- do yourself a favor and use literally any other location. Ash Epperson: I don’t do very many reviews, unless it was really good or really bad. This place is super bad. I got a prescription sent in around 1 PM for my dermatologist. I came at 3:30 and they told me it will not be done for another hour. So then I left and went back around 730. I finally get to the window at 8:10 just for the woman to say that there isn’t even a prescription in their system. So how did the previous woman give me information about when my prescription will be done? It doesn’t make sense. And then they take extremely long every single time. The woman seemed super confused like she didn’t know what she was doing. I even have a text message from when my prescription got sent in. I just don’t understand where the disconnect could be.

And I was browsing other things throughout the store because it was right before Christmas. Now mind you I must admit that I did have my purse which in hindsight I should have left at the corner and I usually do to avoid these types of problems. But , when I went to checkout the cashier accused me of stealing. I had a 20 oz Dr pepper bottle that I had put water in before I left my house and the man says "is that pop in your bag yours?" So I took it out to show him. I told him if he thought I stole something he could look through my purse, I even started rifling through my purse so he could see everything in it. I turned my pockets inside out. I was perfectly nice about the whole thing. I said "it's ok, I understand, I have a big purse and there is a lot of stuff in it." He never even tried to apologize or anything. So rude

Martha Taylor: This Walgreens has negative reviews and poor customer service because of corporate greed. Hire more staff and pay them a living wage and a lot of issues will be resolved. I see fast food restaurants paying more than what Walgreens is paying their cashiers and pharmacy techs. I overheard a pharm tech say that Walgreens accidentally gave her a dollar raise and then took it back. This location is constantly understaffed and has poor customer service sometimes because it doesn’t pay well. Management can fix this problem.

A S: I have been a member of your pharmacy for a number of years now , I was hurt on the job many years ago by a client that was sick and I was not told they were sick because of the client rights so later down the road I was told that I was sick because of that client, I was so angry upset scared and just lost with worry about what was going to happen to me and how was I going to keep people from finding out, when I had to make that first visit to your pharmacy the first person I met was a very kind and worm friendly face by the name of Letty she made feel as if everything was going to be ok and I had nothing to worry about when it came to my privacy and being treated as if I was just as normal as the next person walking through that pharmacy door, I will always LOVE this pharmacy and her till the day the lord says it’s my time to take my rest good and faithful servant, she never made me feel guilty or dirty or if I was going to make her sick if she got to close to me. This month they only had enough to fill a partial script for me and I'm having a hard time getting in there by 530 per my work schedule to get the rest of my meds. Which obviously he does not have to do and no other pharmacy would ever even offer that. I thought that was super kind and nice of him. Tana Mitchell: I use this pharmacy only because my doctor refuses to use a different pharmacy for my prescription. However, my monthly experiences with Albers over the past couple of years was excellent - until the last 3 months - in spite of their inconvenient location and limited hours. Once I was unable to obtain my medication for several days because someone failed to order it from the drug company in a timely manner. In 2 additional instances I was treated so rudely by the person who answered the phone, if I had a choice I wouldn't do business with this pharmacy again. But apparently, because the pharmacy enjoys a "special relationship" with my doctor's office, they have no incentive to treat customers decently. I'd like to say that I would never use this pharmacy again - but I would have to find a different medical practice - and I've been seeing my doctor as my PCP for over 10 years.

Not only was the girl that I talked to very helpful and pleasant, they already had my prescription filled, AND they are one of the few pharmacies in the area that carry my medication regularly.The establishment itself is very clean and organized, parking was easy, and the entire staff seemed very cheerful when I walked in. John & Laurie Riley: This store is run by absolute idiots. CVS should seriously consider shutting this one down.
Grant Barnum: Been on the phone trying to get through to talk about my prescription over 20 minutes, no answer. The pharmacy likes to close early and is woefully understaffed.
Nick McDole: The pharmacy at this location is really bad. I just had my scrpts transferred to this location from another CVS because that one was terrible also. Turns out this one is even worse. How do you have 1 tech and 1 pharmacist working on a Saturday morning at 10am? Drive thru closed also.They could not find one of my scripts because everything was just laying on the ground. Took her 10 minutes to find other script in fridge. There were 10 people behind me in line.CVS should just get out of the pharmacy business because it has hit rock bottom. Avoid this location!

I had an extra wait for the pharmacist because the assistant wasn't able to get my account info pulled up. Turns out the assistant had entered my birth date incorrectly. It was extremely frustrating, but I can't be too upset with the front-line workers. There was only the pharmacist with one assistant, and the line was long both inside and out. Too much for just two people. CVS, do better!!!

Often does not have common medications in inventory but still processes prescriptions, so the completion is delayed. Stated times tofill prescriptions are inaccurate. Opens late and closes too early.

Tracy Quaethem: Made an appointment online for a covid test. Showed up and there is a hand-written note on the door saying they are closed. I'm not irritated that they are short handed. I'm irritated they didn't cancel my appoinmtment and I made a trip for nothing.
Michael Watson: Horrible customer service. I waited on hold to talk to a pharmacist for 23 minutes and finally hung up. This call was made at or around 11:40 AM on a Saturday. This seems to be an ongoing issue with this location looking at other reviews.
CJ H: Told me a med would be ready tomorrow 3 days in a row. I called to check the med was filled on the 3rd day, was told it was in the final stage of fill and could be expedited if I came in person, went to the store to be told the med was out of stock and the best they could do was transfer it to another store. Save yourself some time by going somewhere competent to begin with.
Ashley Chmielewski: Absolute worst customer service. I have waited on hold to talk to a pharmacist for 30 minutes and then been hung up on three times when attempting to call back. I also have experienced poor attitudes from employees when picking up prescriptions from the drive thru. Will be taking my prescriptions elsewhere.
Anna H.: This is literally the worst CVS I've ever been to. The store is always a mess. They are usually out of everything. The pharmacy has terrible hours and a very unfriendly rude staff. They are painfully slow and take forever to fill prescriptions. I once went to get a prescription filled for my daughter and was told to come back in 30 minutes. When I came back they said they were out of the medicine and to go somewhere else. It was just a basic antibiotic. Another time I desperately needed to get medicine for my very sick daughter and they told me it would be a few hours even though the doctor sent them the prescription 4 hours earlier. 24 hours later and it still wasn't filled. They were so rude to me and acted as if I was inconveniencing them to do some work. One time I went to purchase a sunscreen and noticed the last bottle of the brand I wanted had expired. I took it to the cashier and told them it was expired and they said they'd take care of it. A few days later I noticed the expired bottle was back on the shelf. This has happened with other La Roche Posay skincare products also. Buyer beware: Check the expiration dates! I rarely leave reviews but I've had so many terrible and disappointing experiences at this CVS it had to be done.

Kate McDonald: Was on time for drive thru appointment, only 1 person in front of me, waited 30 minutes in line, long line of cars behind me gathering, no answer when called store from car. Guy in front of me obviously didn't have appointment because we were the 1st and 2nd appointments of the day. Will not come back. Terrible service.
Michaela Curls: Waited on hold for 10 minutes to speak to a pharmacist. I hung up and called back. After a few minutes someone answered the phone and rudely told me that they could not fill a medication because they “don’t have time.” He then proceeded to tell me that they are “two days behind” already. I called the CVS in Corinth (nearby) and they filled the prescription with no issues.
Andrew Nantz: Dropped off a script...... Took 10 minutes to tell me that it will be ready in an hour...... four hours later they called me to say they didn’t have the prescription available at the store....Just don’t care about the customer at all

Cristian Matos: Do not use this pharmacy. They do not fill most prescriptions anymore, they have to done off site and sent to them. So any prescription for same day fillings will not be filing to the following business days, and if it's Friday that means Monday.
Yolanda Kelly: I have came to (this) Walgreens for almost 6 years. I will never come back here again. Doctor sent over prescription at 11:30 am. I was told by Walgreens it would be a CPL hours. In my mind that's 2. My son is sick. He has a double ear infection and a respiratory infection and a touch of phnemonia... I went to get his prescription based off the cpl hours I was told and it's not ready and it will take a couple MORE hours. I'm fuming at this point. My son has been sick for what feels like ever and finally I was able to get him in at the doctor's and then Walgreens is gonna tell me it's gonna be 5 hours for an antibiotic that my son needs to avoid being hospitalized. Every frickin minute counts when it comes to an infection. I've used Walgreens religiously for 12 years. Since I had my first child. And when it counted most Wal-Mart next door jumped on it like my son was a priority. I will never come back to this Walgreens again. P.s. how does Walmart outdo Walgreens on customer service?
Robin Austin: Waited in line at the store which felt forever. Young male cashier, Manny, seemed to think that he would finish customers photo order who JUST finished putting it in was more important than ringing up the ONE CUSTOMER (me) who was waiting for the entire time. Customer proceeded to walk around me up to register, wait and talk with him, got rang up and on their merry way as I stand there with products in my hand. Very disappointing.

They r7dely tell my son I don't exist so I call them.He finds me but days can't get until tomor . I try to explain how bad I am and can I have a couple pills and he says for my son to go in and talk to pharmacist . I tell him my sons only 17 and is anxious about going in he puts me on hold for 10 mins. Another guy gets on the phone all hateful and tells me " give me 30" extremely rude tone. My son does go in and they treat him like dirt . He is still in there waiting 50 mins later..he texted me mom why are they being so rude. This place needs to be stopped

Megan Mccurdy: I was hospitalized, got out at 4, had my scripts sent here after using them for years, called at 545pm. They said my script would be ready in 30 minutes. Show up the pharmacy is closed at 6. No one told us. I show up the next day after finally getting a ride to pick them up and got told I can't get my medication that I need because they are going on break. So I'll need to find ANOTHER ride back up here to get them. Absolutely unbelievable. Will never use this pharmacy again

Carina Devera: They Walgreens needs to disclose wether or not it’s a Walgreens location or a shared building… I came for a covid shot, and this was in the behavior center. It was busy , and my appointment was at 10:30, I prefilled out my application for information and I still have to refill it out again. I’m pregnant and this was not the environment I wanted to be in.
Shelby Barbosa: I will never understand why some people choose to work in a pharmacy that is located in a behavioral health facility and choose to treat people like absolute garbage. I have never seen such disrespect from people at a pharmacy than I have seen and experienced from Jessica and Lisa who work in this pharmacy. These two treat the patients who come to this pharmacy like they don’t deserve any respect or or deserve any kindness strictly based on the fact that the patients are being seen at a behavioral health facility. No one should ever be allowed to treat patients this way Walgreens would do everyone a favor and make this place a better place to use if they got rid of Jessica and Lisa, I’m just tired of feeling shamed every time I leave this pharmacy. David Janis: This is one of those hidden "gems" that you don't come across too often and you really don't want others to know it exists. This is a pharmacy only location, but is the quickest, easiest pharmacy to get in and out of. You don't spend much time waiting at all. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Parking is a breeze and most of the time I've been able to get prescriptions filled within an hour of calling them in to the pharmacy.
__: This Walgreens is inside the Truman Behavioral Health Center. The staff who work here I are very service oriented, and very friendly, ... they are a blessing to interact with any day.As far as I know all their clients are people who buy meds here are clients of Truman although it's my understanding there are few outside folks who pick up their medications here because of the locationthat's an FYI for you.
Laura-Kate Assenmacher: I stumbled upon this hidden gem while looking to establish a pharmacy close to my new office. Although this is not a typical Walgreens 'convenience store' with energy drinks and Band-Aids, I would highly recommend anyone in the downtown area use this Walgreens Pharmacy for their prescription drugs. Pharmacist, Keith and his staff could not be any nicer. It has been heartwarming to see these professionals welcoming every client in line with a smile, conversation, respect, and answers to many questions especially in a behavior health facility.
