Every teacher seems to know every student across all grades and to be constantly customizing each class to meet the individual’s needs, interests, and preferences.The school also integrates students across grades with its amazing families program. Each new student is added to a school wide group of students and sits with those students as special events and assemblies. This group follows the student through all of the years, serving as a special “family” at school and surrogate siblings.Finally, another amazing way that the school meets the needs of its children is two different Jewish Studies tracks – one that is more traditional and one that is more pluralistic. This also enables the school to meet each student and each family where they are and teach that student Jewishly in a way consistent with the family’s goals.I highly recommend the school to any and every Jewish family in the Kansas City region and beyond.
