Debbie N: This was our second visit, we had brought friends from out of town. Will never return or recommend this place to anyone. Bacon on sandwich was uncooked and the service was terrible. But the final straw i purchased a 4 pack to go and when i sat down Sundays afternoon to have a beer. Guess what it was the wrong beer. Because the guy behind the bar was to lazy to make me 4 cans. In stead he said the ones in the cooler were miss labeled and gave me those. Word of mouth is what keeps these small breweries in business why would you do this. Why would you have someone on your payroll.

Peter: I am just starting to brew. The proprietor of the shop was very helpful, not only answering questions, but pointing me to sources that I can learn from. They were out of a few things I needed, like beer bottles, but they also had a bunch of things that I didn't know I could find locally. I am also looking forward to the wine or beer making classes, as I don't have much experience myself and would love to learn. Can't wait to go back!

Jason Martell: I happened to be in town from a hour drive away and stopped in and ended up buying an extract kit. Opened it at home the next day to see that instead of the two separate hops for the kit he accidentally put in 2 of the same. I called and told him he apologized and said he would mail me the one missing. It came in the mail. It came in the mail with postage due which is double the cost of what it would cost me to buy the hop from the All Grain supply store in my town.UPDATE:He fixed this and sent me the correct hops and a coupon for my next visit for all the hassle and made it right. Appreciate the customer service.

Nick Newell: Finally was able to stop by, once I found it. This place is off in the corner of a nondescript shopping center. A total hidden gem. The owner was very helpful and answered all my questions. I am new to Home brewing but he took the time to make sure I got everything I needed. I have stopped by all the other shops in KC and this one has the best selection and best prices. Comparable to what I find online (plus shipping) so I can go get it and not have to wait the 3-5 days for delivery. Most of the other stores either don’t have the selection and no one has the same level of service. Awesome place. Don’t hesitate to go and support this shop.
