I disagree with another review on here. I had no clue what size I was wearing since losing 200+ pounds. I tried dresses on from size 12 to 26. The dresses are European sizes and that is not the shops fault. I said yes to my beautiful dress. They ensured that I will have my dress done and ready. I am so excited to say I Do May 22, 2021!!!!

Hanna Davies: I am not the type to write reviews, but after what I have experienced at this shop I have to!!!As a plus size woman, trying on dresses can be a challenge considering most designers send sample sizes to shops that carry their dresses. I called around to multiple stores and very few carried any bridesmaids dresses about a 12. When I called amore they said that they had a few plus sizes that could be tried on. When we arrived to try on dresses there was not a single dress in that designer above a 16. This of course made deciding which dress to purchase more difficult, especially when you are paying $200+ for a dress.I was measured in my bust, waist and hips to find out what size I would need to order. When we referenced the size chart, it came out that my bust was bigger than the largest size dress available. I never in my life, have ordered a size 28 in anything. Now, with that being said, I understand that dresses tend to run small. No big deal. The woman then tells me that I will need to order an extra yard of fabric which when the dress is altered can be added to make the top bigger to fit my bust. A yard of fabric runs for $50 a yard. The dress itself was $220. She then tells me that they charge extra per size after a size 22. Once everything is all said and done, my total comes out to $341, for a dress that I have no idea what it will look like on, nor how it will fit. Not to mention during all of this, the woman that was helping us was very, very pushy and quite rude.Fast forward 2 1/2 months later. The bride gets a call that our dresses are in. I am thinking great, I will finally be able to see what this will look like on and figure out how much it will need to be altered. I go pick up the dress, the extra fabric and pay the balance that is left. I get home, put the dress on and to my surprise.... IT ZIPS! AND there is a ton of room in the bust, along with everywhere else.Here I am with a dress that is now way to big, a yard of extra fabric that I do not need, and I start questioning the measurements, the size that was ordered, and why I paid the extra money when I obviously did not need to. I thought that I would just call Amore and explain what is going on, surely they would understand. After this I took measurements myself at home, to find out that according to the size chart I did not need a size 28, but a size 18, maybe 20 if we were being generous.I called Amore today, and first spoke to a young lady. She was very concerned and said that unfortunately she could not do anything and that she would get me with someone that could help. Another woman comes on the phone, I explain to her the situation and according to her “these things to happen and that there is an ease in all dresses that is around half an inch which could explain why it fits” I told her that “no mam, it is not just a little loose, it is way too big.” She claimed that all dresses size different and that basically you order a size while you are “backed into a corner hoping that it fits”. If that is the case, why even take measurements? If all of the dresses are sized differently why have a size chart? She then tells me that they cannot take back the extra fabric because the designer does not take it back. She claimed that all dresses are dyed together and that if they took this fabric back it would not match any other dresses of that color. Which, I am sorry, but come on... Seriously?After what turned out to be a pointless conversation about the sizing of the dress, I then mention the extra charged and the money that I am out. So not only am I out the $50, but I am also out the extra money charged for it being over a size 22, and I am going to have to pay the extra money to have it altered to where I need it to be. She did not seem like she cared, nor that she wanted to make the situation right. Her words were “these things happen”.I am very, very upset with how this was handled from start to end. All I can say is check your measurements if you do decide to go here and think twice before ordering.

Omer Aswad: Worst customer service, they messed up dress 3 times so far for my wife to be. And keep telling her she shouldnt try it, they told her to come pick up today and that if she tried it on they wouldn't repress it. She took the chance and tried it anyway and it was not complete.. now she is going back Thursday to get itWhy would you tell a bride to not try her dress after you guy have altered it! Shouldnt she try it after it was changed to make sure it's good fit?

A D R: I wouldn’t recommend them, very rude and snobby people. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Went in with my two year old daughter to look at their wedding dresses. I wasn’t going to buy one just yet, I wanted to look around more before I made a decision. Went in, saw a couple of dresses I wanted to try on and take a couple of photos. Go to a couple other places and do the same so I could look at them and decide what dress I wanted. Told the lady and she goes in a very rude tone “this isn’t a modeling store and next time you need to make an appointment, you are taking up other people’s times.” There was no one in the store. No one! She even looked at my daughter in a disgusting way . My daughter was just sitting there quietly. I was on the phone with my husband the whole time. I went back to my car and cried. I ended up going to David’s Bridal’s. Don’t waste your time here!

She even came in on her day off to let me come back and make my decision. And then had me do a "photoshoot" on the stairs in the dress to make sure I had all of the pictures of me in it that I wanted. Thank you for finding me the perfect dress Kelly!

Laurallee O'Bannon: The bridal salon is fine. Would not recommend their seamstresses. The lady I used for my wedding dress, took my dress in too much, the dress wouldn’t Button. When I asked her to fix it she was going to charge me to fix her mistake.

Mr&Mrs Wolfe: Oh my God… I can’t believe I actually found a wedding dress!Having been a bridal stylist & being the General manager of a local mother of the bride/groom dress store while sewing my own clothes since the 4th grade; made this decision HARD! I became obsessed & overly picky, falling in love with $12k dresses (wayyyy outside the budget) & still wanting things added or changed. I feel like when you’ve seen it all… you crave something different. I’ve learned what proportions look best, the fabrics I’m drawn to, the bodice styles, trains, glitter types, the difference boning makes & I wasn’t gonna settle for less 😅I went to True Society, David’s Bridal, The One Bridal, Gown Gallery, Urban Bridal, Emily Heart, J.Lynn Bridal, Fabulous Frocks, & High Vibe. But my mom only cried when I walked out in one at Ricca Sposa. Still nothing quite compared to a dress I found on Pinterest but couldn’t try on. The dress was made Ukraine. my Ukrainian ancestors were showing me some inconvenient love. I’m listening, time to support Ukraine. 🇺🇦 💪🏼 I called stores all over the US. it was a 2023 collection that is just making its debut. Keep in mind I was shopping in 2022. 80% of stores said since the war they didn’t want to rely on that designer getting the dresses in. Okay but wait… isn’t the owner of Ricca Sposa from Ukraine!?! Yes! 🙌 So we called back Ricca Sposa! She was able to get me the dress! She beat the prices of all the other states too. Ricca Sposa in Kansas City has a great reputation, they were referred to me by my fiancés cousin & she said they really went above & beyond for her. (her dress was absolutely stunning) Ricca Sposa did not disappoint. The owner did EVERYTHING to make it happen. She even went out of her way to get the contract to work with that designer. Between countless back & forward emails, she got me the dream dress & all that comes with it, she made it within my budget!!! time frame!! & more! I am so thankful & grateful to RICCA SPOSA bridal boutique for making it all possible. I will forever recommend your store as THE store to visit if anyone is ever looking for a wedding dress!

Ashley Hunter: Lucia and Karina helped me find my dream dress back in April of 2022. They picked out several gorgeous gowns until I found THE one! I wasn't ready to commit to the dress that day and they didn't try to push me into making a decision before I left. I came back the following week, tried the dress on again and knew it was the one. Lucia took down all my measurements and made sure to ask what length I wanted and if there were any special customizations I wanted. She walked me through the process of ordering the gown and it being custom made by the designer. She was very thorough and detailed throughout the process. When I received the gown in December it was PERFECT! It fit like a glove, came with my customizations, and was perfect. The week of my wedding, we made a last minute appointment to get my dress steamed and Lucia was able to squeeze us in. My dress and experience at RICCA SPOSA was better than I could have ever imagined!

Gigi Gray: Lucia and Karina were fantastic to work with!! They have such beautiful gowns and allow you to customize each as much or as little as you'd like. I loved being able to hand pick out what dresses I wanted to try on but they were also great and spot on with suggestions. I would have never tried on what I purchased had Lucia not suggested I try it! I also really liked that the entire store was private to just my group...It's a great, no pressure atmosphere for finding your dress!When I picked my dress, I had several family members that couldn't be there so Lucia even helped arrange a time for me to be able to come in and try it on for them after a work day.It took about 6 months for my dress to come in and when it did, Lucia handled all of the alterations needed and she did an amazing job with them...including the stunning way of bustling it that she added! I couldn't be happier with my experience and I can't wait to wear my dress in just a couple of weeks. And I also purchased my beautiful veil from here!

I had multiple associates helping me; it was practically a private fitting experience with a long runway and mirrors at multiple angles. They were patient with me as I spent over 3 hrs narrowing down options, and then returned 2 weeks later to make a final decision. Taylor T: I made an appointment at Geri's despite the mixed reviews, hoping I'd be one of the lucky ones to have a good experience. Unfortunately, I was not. My stylist was nice enough in the beginning. She showed us around the store then excused herself to finish a tux fitting while my group and I looked around and pulled some dresses. When she came back, she vaguely asked what I was looking for and told me I would not like some of the dresses picked. Totally fine and I agreed! She then took all the dresses into the fitting room, even the ones I agreed I wouldn't like - odd, but ok. Then things really took a turn for the worse. I put on the first dress and as I walked out to show my group, she turned and walked away. I froze, not sure what to do. When she finally returned, she didn't say a word, just waited for me to go back to the fitting room. The rest of the appointment continued this way. For a few of the dresses, she stuck around but even then didn't seem to care about my feedback. At best she'd say "ok" and often nothing at all. She didn't pull any dresses for me to try, just had me try on the ones my group picked in the exact order they started in. The cherry on top was when she told me "you just don't like anything" after putting in no effort to help me find something I do like. Her loss in the end, I said yes to the dress at a different store later that day.

Emilia Jenkins: My first appointment to try on wedding dresses, they had sent everyone home for the day and forgot about my appointment, so it was less than "special." However, I found my dress. It came in within a couple weeks which was great. My first fitting went well....then I got my dress back and oh boy. Where do I begin? The dress length was 1/2in shorter at least on one side than the other. Not even sure how that's possible or how you mess it up that bad. Then, the dress that was once way too big, was ridiculously tight. The fabric was pulling and couldn't even zip it up. I also mentioned the cups being too big and showing my chest with minimal movement. They disregarded that complaint in both follow-up visits. They "fixed" the dress....It is still shorter on one side than the other, but not quite as noticeable. The were able to take out their previous alterations to make it fit better. But I was still charged $400 for these terrible alterations.....I also ended up having to take it to another seamstress to fix their mistakes which cost me another $220. The lady who does your fittings isn't the person altering it even though she speaks as if she is. Overall, I was really disappointed. It was not a good experience and I have been so frustrated with the whole process.The pictures show the dress pinned before it was altered....and what it looked like after. TERRIBLE

Amy Byer: We went here to shop for a wedding dress for my daughter. The consultant did not ask us any questions and was very unhelpful. She seemed upset that we had liked a dress at another shop and she did not try to help us at all. She barely helped my daughter into the dresses, didn’t try to help them fit, didn’t know the answers to any of our questions, and blatantly ignored my daughter while she chatted with the bridal party next to us. I had to fluff the trains of the dresses and help my daughter adjust the dresses. She kept making snide comments about “the dress at the other place” and did not seem interested in selling us a dress. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Andrea Franklin: Initially, I booked an appointment with David's Bridal for my sister (the bride), and we had such an all around, terrible experience, we ended up walking out disappointed, dissatisfied, and more than frustrated.I called Wedding Expressions by Geri, and they fit us in last minute that same day. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted warmly and with professional courtesy and enthusiasm.The wedding dress selection was innumerable-at least 6 cubbies full of beautiful, designer dresses. We didn't even make it past the first cubby, before we pulled 10 dresses out that my sister liked and was interested in trying on.Our consultant was so professional and helpful and eager to please. She treated my sister like a princess, and catered to her every need and request.The very first dress my sister tried on, she fell completely in love with. It was everything she dreamed of and more. She ended up buying the dress, plus a veil, without even bothering to try on any of the other 9 dresses still in the dressing room.We were extremely satisfied with everything about Wedding Expressions. We couldn't have been more happy or satisfied with the customer service, the selection of dresses, the friendly and enthusiastic assistance and help, and the warm courtesy.We felt very blessed as we walked out the door while my sister continued to smile uncontrollably for the next two days. Wedding Expressions helped to my make my sister's big day already a perfect moment in memory.

sarah soptic: Went in without an appointment. It was not busy at all. Asked if it was ok since we didn't have an appointment they said sure. Seriously looking for a dress. No one helped us. We had to ask all the questions. No one asked what we were looking for. No one showed us around. Had money to spend but won't be here. There were like 3 people and the looked at us and went about their business. Pretty disappointing. Just not nice or inviting.I'd give them one star but they did have a good sale rack. great for girls in need of a cheap prom dress or party dress.

When I saw that All My Heart was a strictly plus size bridal store I knew that I had to check it out! My consultant was Sara, and she was amazing! I can not say enough nice things about my experience there. They had a large selection of beautiful dresses and they were reasonably priced! Sara was super informative and I could feel that she actually cared about me getting a dress that I was happy with, and not just trying to make a sale. She made me feel really comfortable and beautiful! I ultimately did not get a dress from this store, but that is not at any fault to them! As a plus size bride, I would highly highly recommend them! It was a great experience!

Briana Hanson: All My Heart Bridal was an amazing experience for a plus sized bride. The stylist Cheyenne was so helpful and very good with my group that came with me. Cheyenne really helped make sure we were aware of the time and was a real trooper when we only had 20 minutes left and still a lot to try on. They really helped the dresses fit well to give me a good idea of what it would look like in my actual size if it was too big or too small. I was so nervous at first but it quickly melted away. They have beautiful gowns and overall were very friendly.

I truly LOVED my experience in store and their selection of plus size dresses is amazing.They have so many different styles and options to try on which was very unique and makes it so enjoyable to go and try on. My dress came in quickly, about 3 months before they said it would, which was nice. I purchased a dress from their store brand collection- their AMH Collection.The problems started when I went to get my alterations. It became clear that there was differences in the sample dress I tried on and the actual dress I received. The sample dress’s cut out at the chest laid flat, where as the dress I received did not and had strange lines and pulled at the fabric. It was VERY obvious. The bust and cups were too large for me in the dress I received and was under the impression that was why the dress was creating those lines. I was told that the alterations would take care of any of those issues because it would be altered to fit my body, so it would lay flat. This was not the case. The way the dress was made at the size that I was cause it to warp like that and without boning, it would never lay flat and would always curve weirdly. This was also an issue on the side where there was a similar mesh cutout. We were quoted the price it would be to fix the issue that I was told would be fixed by simply having it sized to fit my body- $600. I was in shock.I emailed my frustration to AMH, with pictures detailing what the issue was, with comparison photos from the sample dress I tried on like I have included on this review. I They responded asking for my seamstresses information, saying they would reach out and that they wanted to make it right. I passed along the information right away and told my seamstress what they said. She said AMH is really good to their brides, so she didn't charge us for the work yet because she wanted to talk to them first and come to a solution.All My Heart NEVER reached out to her.This impacted my alterations appointments and we ended up having to reschedule because the seamstress had not done the work because she was waiting for them to contact her. Thankfully, our wedding planner, Christine, got involved and was able to get in contact and get things figured out. Had Christine not gotten involved, I really don’t think they would have followed through on making it right. In the end, AMH did cover the cost of fixing the bust line, but did not pay for the cost of fixing the sides. The alterations costs, even with them covering about $200 worth of work, totaled more than the cost of the dress.I was overall very disappointed in the quality of the dress I received in comparison to the dress I tried on. I understand that different sizing can impact how the fabric can lay, but it shouldn’t cause the lines to be warped. I also felt mislead about what was possible to fix through getting it altered to my body and what was actually a structural issue with the dress. All of this I was willing to overlook due to the amazing experience I had in store and the beautiful dress options they have. However, when they never reached out to the seamstress to follow through on what they said they would do, I lost a lot of respect for this company.It hurts my heart because I sung their praises for MONTHS because of the amazing experience I had in store. I no longer in good conscious can recommend this place to fellow brides. Since plus size dresses are hard to find to try on, I would recommend going. But if you end up purchasing through them, I would be very cognizant of these issues and really question what they are telling you. If you end up having an issue down the line, I wouldn't count of them following through and providing good customer service. At the end of the day, my dress was beautiful, but the experience and process it took to get it there was far from ideal and VERY expensive. No one should have to pay the cost of the dress to get it to actually look like the dress they tried on.

When I came here I was immediately relived to find that everything in the store was available to me! It was such a good feeling to really be able to pick what I like opposed to having to settle on what would fit!I found the dress of my dreams and truly felt like I was a priority!

Emily Darrington: As a curvy bride it has been challenging to say the least finding “the dress” Megan helped me from beginning to end. She made the process an absolute joy. I cried happy tears every appointment I left. Megan was my stylist, She was patient, kind & had so much knowledge to offer also so very personable! I felt so comfortable. Cheyenne helped me at my final appointment, phenomenal! She made me feel so comfortable & that we had been friends for years. Also so so knowledgeable. The communication from any AMH employee was outstanding. the dress selection was unmatched. The quality of every dress was stunning. The size range is so inclusive. The prices really are great too! The time I got to spend at AMH really felt like home. I cannot recommend AMH to anyone enough. My only complaint is I wish I could go more often. I’ll cherish my experience there & it FAR exceeded my expectations of what a beautiful bride I could be. Please go here if you’re unsure of where to go. Well worth every second. Making the process so so special & memorable for me.

Micah Sax: I cannot recommend All My Heart Bridal enough! Not only did I enjoy my time there but so did my family and friend who I brought to try on dresses with me. I was open to ideas, but had a few things that I knew I wanted, they listened and made excellent suggestions. Every dress I tried on, I actually liked and was comfortable in. I did NOT expect that. They had a wide variety of plus size dresses and not the same handful of ballgown styles you typically see. Cheyenne was very easy to talk to and work with. I was very comfortable with her, felt like she was very attentive, and was someone I would be friends with which gave the session a nice personal touch. Sarah was also great to work and very knowledgeable. They made me feel great. I felt like they truly were my own personal hype squad! I walked away having found a dress I love and am super confident in. (An added bonus, they let me come back later that afternoon to try it on for someone who did not come to my session in the morning.)

The fact that they have an appointment specifically set up to where you can just try on silhouettes and get a feel for what you do and don’t like is already a big draw but from start to finish I felt like I was listened to and there was no judgment as a plus size bride. Megan heard what my likes and dislikes were and the first dress she picked had everything that I could’ve wanted in a dress and more! I will definitely be going back because yes having dresses that will fit me does matter but having an experience where I am made to feel and shown that they care about me and I am comfortable with my experience is what it all boils down too. Bizzy 365: I appreciate this place so much. From start to finish it was by far the best experience for dress shopping. I felt very heard and was treated with the up most respect and kindness. Megan really knew her stuff and made great suggestions , he even humored me when I tried on the black wedding dress that looked amazing! I will for sure suggest them over and over . The problem with most places is they dont have more than 3 plus sized wedding dresses to try on . At this place you will not have that issue at all . I cant say enough good things about your shop.
