Honor Annex: what do users think?
Frazier Taylor: Always clean, not overpacked with veterans
shawn21ksu: Bad!!!
Katie Wilkerson: The womens clinic is awesome! I have received quality care for years from the VA. Dr. Wicks is the best and really listens. They also do X-rays and blood draws here. Great service in a very nice building.
Tanjiro Sama: The Lady at the front desk was rude but, everyone else in there was nice.
TravisWTMC: Thank you VA for looking out for the dads in this world. I've been coming here for years and have had a lot of great help from the majority of the people at this facility. Thanks for what you do for us.
Jo Greene: My husband, ALLAN R. GREENE LTC US ARMY (RET) has been a patient of N.P. CHOI for several years. N.P. CHOI is an exemplary medical professional who truly cares about veterans. We are very fortunate that she serves the veterans at the Honor Annex in Kansas City. She always takes the time to listen and explain everything and has a wide range of experience and knowledge. Thank you, N.P. CHOI for your dedication and service.
Mark Lyon: This place is always treated me well that is very close by. The employees are kind considerate and attentive.
Felix Bleyenberg: This is a veterans medical office. I like the service and atmosphere at this location
Wynona Johnson (Annie): Friendly staff
Christopher Gash: Very well put name for clinic "Honor Clinic". The staff is very helpful and caring. My hat off to every me member of the team. I've been sent to every where around this country for PTSD and other issues. Paulo Alto (Menlo Park) and the care here at the Honor Clinic are 2nd to none. Salute to all the staff.
Roger Iman: In& out with my 2nd plague shot in a fairly quick manner. Very well done for the DVA.
Anthony Taylor: This was my first visit to this clinic and I was very pleased. The workers there were very nice and very friendly. I received my 1st COVID-19 vaccine and everything went very smooth with very little waiting. The workers mad sure I understood everything and all cov safety standards were being followed. Thank you VA for a great job.
David French: I've finally got a good primary doc
gregory howard: It's very clean and excellent staff very friendly and good technicians.they draw my blood doesn't hurt r bruise my arms...
Wonda Will: I was very nervous about the quality of care I would get at the Va since I always hear horrible stories, however the care received at Honor annex and specialty visits at the hospital were very thorough and the staff were always friendly. The kindness I received here will be missed. I hope the next Va is as great as this one. Dr. Brown is a stellar PCM.
R. Wright El: I always have an awesome visit. The staff is always very knowledgeable and friendly. Much different then my Father’s times.
Lon Dorsey: I have been seeing Dr. Sharma since 2014 and have always gotten good medical care and She really stands out as one of the best Doctors at the VA.The system at the VA has its ups and downs, but that process has gotten better slowly. They have built on to the VA since I started in 2012 almost every year, it looks fantastic I cant help feel though that that money should go toward improving the lives of veterans rather than the biggest prettiest buildings in the area.I went to the VA in San Diego recently ,this past year and spent a great deal of time there and it was like totally different with employees talking down to vets, mental health doctor i asked top help me get my medicine refilled told me i didnt need that medication that it was of no use for treating my problem, they were just rude and could not care less about vets. one doctor said to me i could go stay in the homeless camp right beside the VA in the woods. That was his suggestion for someone struggling to stay clean off of alcohol or drugs. Unbelievable what i saw there
Michael Focke: PTSD TREATMENT WORKS
Eric Mitchell: Best VA around.
James Davis: Nice clean fast friendly and knowledgeable...
Malorro2003: I have received the best medical care from the Women’s Clinic through the KC VA! Absolutely love it!

VA Heartland Network: what do users think?
Michelle Davis: My father was an US Army Vet. He enlisted at 18yo and continued to serve and volunteer at the VA Hospital in KC, the Vet Center where he taught art and helped many and at the Research Lab among other places that had to do with Veterans. He passed in Dec 2017 and his wish was to give as much back to the VA system as possible. I donated thousands of dollars of art supplies to them so that would go to good use. I have been trying for over a month to donate clothes, coats, shoes, gloves, bedding and more that could/would help homeless vets. They refused to take them because they don't have the room for the things I was donating. Why don't you have a place for homeless Vets to go and get what they need? I finally gave up and took 15 large trash bags full of good items to the City Union Mission because I didn't and my dad didn't want people to have to pay for these items. There were even brand new shoes that the VA had given him in boxes still in the bag. The VA should look into this issue! If you have a place for homeless Vets then you should have a place where they can get clean items to wear and to stay warm. I think its disgraceful that you expect these men and women who have served our country to buy items when they can't afford them. The VA has always taken such great care of my father and I always defended anything negative that I heard about the VA for that reason. This really is not right!! I hope you find a way to fix this!

Veterans of Foreign Wars National Headquarters: what do users think?
Ernest Morrow: Good
John Hardesty: Salute to all VFW members. My problem is with with VFW or Auxiliary membership. After 22 years active duty, I am not even authorized to walk in a VFW and buy a beer for another Veteran. My MOS/AFSC was recruiting, and as thus it was Conus only assignments. Not asking for regular VFW membership, but my service does not even qualify me or thousands like me for any type of membership to include auxiliary. At a time when VFW membership is low and many VFW clubs are opening doors to everyone, this is a shame, and yes, I feel slighted by the rules. Again, Salute to VFW members, but there needs to be some type of membership or category for military retirees who served.
Joyce Washington: Ron Cherry is a very capable and experienced Veterans’ representative. He handles his cases very professionally and is super cordial and respectful to the Veterans he serves. What an awesome asset to have him. We need more dedicated reps like Ron!
Debbie Soar: The staff are so helpful & kind!
stirling McKenzie: Whent here to get A massage from legacy massage. It was an amazing place , clean with attentive security. Legacy is a fantastic place go there and get a massage
Pilar Stewart: My husband he is veteran it was very beutiful and pecefull
Lucille H Douglass: Convenient access
Linda Hull: I rent space in this building for my business.
Brian Perry: I wanted to join when I stepped into my local post #8154 in uniform After coming home from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and I was turned away and shown the door because I was not yet a paying member. To today where I have fallen on financial hardship and I reached my hand out to the VFW for help and I was denied help. Also, in the past when I attempted to obtain a sports clips scholarship 3 times after my GI bill was exhausted and I was again denied all 3 times. I’m not sure if this is just a bias or just legit circumstances therefore this is my personal opinion and my honest review of my dealings with local VFW and headquarters.
Jeff Laurendeau: No one does more for Veterans. Read some surprising “reviews” from fellow Comrades. My experience has been overwhelming positive. I’ve witnessed first hand vets taking care of vets through both my local post and National. Not all posts maybe good. If you are a Veteran struggling visit a couple posts. Welcome home.
John Raybourn: Historical ... !!!
Damon Paul: Good people! Ron Cherry is a great guy to work with.
Marcella Taylor: Very Friendly Staff!!!!
J Williams: This review is for the memorial and fountain outside.Like many things here in the Midwest, it is very understated. All branches of the Military are reflected- Army, Navy, Airforce, Marines, in a beautiful way. A solemn reminder of those who have given the umtimate sacrifice for freedom. A walkway with bricks enscribed with names, and wars, reflects that.It is most definitely worth taking a moment, putting passions, opinions, and convictions aside, and remembering.
Steve Gaylord: I love the local Post in my hometown and what we stand for; however, the National and State HQs and their officers sell member information for profit and spend more time on political agendas and raising money than on supporting the organization and it's members. Unfortunately, this organization will wither away when the older members they exploit all die off. This organization has become a commercial and political enterprise and it is no longer about vets supporting one-another and our communities. I used to be proud of this organization and my participation. Not anymore! To the leadership... Stop it! Stop trying to generate revenue. Instead support the activities of the local Posts, producing stronger local Posts would increase memberships along with dues. I never thought I'd be marketed to like I have been. I never would have given the VFW my information if I thought MY organization was going to sell it to others. Disappointed Life Member, Steve
Uncle Fred: National Headquarters
Cass Curtis-Tye: I love take your kid to work day! Staff super friendly.
Yovanka Bilbrew: Love it clean and peaceful
D. Gessley: I was told by another veteran to come here to make claims. They told me to go thru my VA hospital with their VFW. Wasted my time here.
Ethan Stanley: Very helpful and knowledgeable
Leatha Clark: Very informative.Thank our veterans of all foreign wars
