Lorie Naylor: Deeann our server did an excellent job, she was waiting on several tables and kept everyone happy. But the entree’s were very bland and overpriced. They didn’t have their everyday menu. There were only a handful of options and they were very expensive. I don’t recommend them.

MFPhoto1: I stopped in for a bite of lunch. I had a nice dinner sized salad. They were quite busy, but the servers and staff did their best to keep up with the lunchtime rush. I was satisfied. Check it out.

Pam Kinnell: We had reservations as recommended by other reviews. The restaurant was not very busy on Friday evening so not sure if reservations are needed. Ordered an appetizer eggplant poppers. Marinara sauce tasted like jar marinara. I ordered the Alfredo. It was not great. The noodles a little on the doughy side and the sauce was extremely thick and gritty. We were celebrating our Anniversary and to say the least I was less than impressed.

We came here for a family dinner; I had the Gnocchi, my wife had the sausage Pinini, my sister had the chicken parm, and my brother in law had the pasta di mare, my son had the spaghetti, and my niece had the chicken Alfredo. We all picked at each other's plates and it was all really good (especially the Gnocchi)! The calamari and salad with their housemade Italian was also really freaking good. I really feel like we found a hidden gem in Independence. Kaylee Bacon: Went to a private event here and it was phenomenal. The restaurant is adorable and such good vibes. The wait staff was so attentive and helpful. The food was superb we had the salad with vinegrette which was so good and then the lasagna and Alfredo were some of the best pasta I've ever had. Italian margarita and the limoncello martini were so good. The tiramisu martini was the perfect way to end the night. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Unfortunately, I did not get a full taste because of my idiosyncrasies of they place their salad options on a lower ledge, which causes everyone that passing through have to REACH OVER the bowels. Dropping hair and other germs in the food. A ladies purse nestled on top of the salad bowl. Also a mans jacket rested on salad WHEN THEY REACHED OVER. Micheal Salmon: Went to eat at 2:30 so there was no rush. It took 20 minutes for us to get sat although there was no wait. Then it took us 50 minutes to get our food, When I asked for a second order to go that order finished before my main order. Then they placed both into a to go Box and that's how I was served. No adjustments to bill, only blame on the kitchen.

Andrea Scott: We went here for dinner yesterday and had the soup, salad and breadsticks. I had the Chicken & Gnocchi soup. Everything tasted pretty good. However, when I was eating the soup at the bottom of the bowl, I felt something hard in my mouth. I thought it might be a piece of bone that had somehow gotten into the soup. I pulled it out of my mouth and it was shiny. It was a metal shaving that was about an inch long. We informed them of this and they were very nonchalant like it happens every day. The waitress asked me did I think it came off the bag of soup. How would I even know that? The first manager we talked to only said that it wasn't supposed to be in there. Yeah, no s**t. They offered me another bowl like I was supposed to have any confidence eating their soup after that. They did make sure to get rid of the evidence quickly. Due to their lack of true concern, I have no confidence that they got rid of that batch of soup. Needless to say but I was very upset and disappointed in this experience. I will not be going back to this Olive Garden because most of them have no real concern for their customers.
