Carol Norman: Great food. I had the French toast with strawberries. Yum. My friend had an omelet with sausage and an English muffin. We both weren't able to eat all the food. Tge coffee was good too!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Taylor Turlich: Went in for the first time today and really had an off-putting experience. We walked in and I spoke to a lady asking for a table for 2. She said we can sit anywhere. So we picked a table and we didn't see anyone for a good minute. The hostess eventually came over and gave us menus. We said we've never been here before and asked what she would recommend. She gave us a recommendation and we thanked her and she said someone will be over shortly. It was a good minute before a lady came by. We were still looking at the menu at this time and said we'll still need a minute because we've never been here before. A while goes by and eventually another lady comes over to take our order. I get the croque monsieur and she gets the omellete. My sandwich was really wet and soggy when the croque monsieur is supposed to be crispy. My fries were also a little cold but that's not really a big deal. The omellete was good! I get up to use the bathroom and apparently yall thought we weren't going to pay. Maybe because we got water?? But we literally just had espresso before coming in (I chugged 4 shots down in the car because I didn't want to bring in an outside drink) so of course we wanted some water. We've been nothing but pleasant this whole time. I always tip well, too. I actually only tipped 25% this time because we never got checked on once the whole hour and 15 minutes we were there, we weren't treated well, and my sandwich was falling apart in my hands it was so wet and cold. It feels like we weren't welcome here. We will not be coming back.

Kyle Wells: *!Long but important review!*They serve breakfast and lunch.I wanted to try something new.My companion and I ended up getting the California club and the stuffed mushroom panini. They wanted fresh decaf coffee and I wanted a diet coke with no ice. The coffee was cold even though they said they had just brewed it and the diet coke tasted like it was just the syrup and very little carbonation. I had asked if their soda machine was a bit off and one of the guys, I'm guessing the owner, came up to me and showed me a picture of the diet coke box (the syrup that goes in the machine) that he had "just bought". He seemed like he was irritated with me for just asking a question. So I just told them that I would just drink water instead. The panini said it came with soup on the menu but when I got the bill there was a $2 charge for "MISC". I asked about it and the server said that it was for the soup. I had asked again to clarify why there was a $2 charge when the menu said that the sandwich came with the soup. She went to go ask (I'm guessing) the owner and he asked her if I was "going to be a problem" pretty loudly. There was also a charge for the diet coke that I did not drink. However, they had crossed off it and manually subtracted from the total. Meaning that the incorrect tax was calculated. Ended up spending about $40 for 2 people.TLDR: food was decent, service was horribly lacking. I will not be dining here again unless something changes.Note: I understand that it is a "mom and pop" "local" type of place but I refuse to be treated like I'm some sort of nuisance for wanting decent service.Thank you for reading this review. I hope you have a good day.
Mike Mitchell: I don't normally leave bad reviews but I need to with this place. The whole experience was bad. First off, we were barely acknowledged the whole time we were there. They had at least 10 people running around and no one took our order after sitting for almost 30 minutes (and we had a 3 yr old which made it harder). Then it took almost 45 minutes to get our food after we ordered which was cold and bland. I got the french toast and my wife had the biscuits and gravy and we both could barely eat them. What was most upsetting was that another couple came in after we had already been sitting for 20 minutes, got a table, ate, paid, and left before we even got our check. Definitely won't be coming back. I really like to give mom and pop establishments a try, but it's getting harder for me to justify it with experiences like this morning.

thomas brady: I went there for breakfast. The service was awesome. The food was good. It was breakfast food, that's hard to mess up but cooked exactly to order, and the portions were generous. I will be going back. I like to see family operated places. The atmosphere was very comfortable..... did not feel rushed or like another number.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Hashbrowns, Classic, Toast …More
Damien Quinn: Simply incredible flavors. This is a 5 start restaurant quality breakfast. I can't believe how fantastic the taste really is. This is my new morning not so guilty pleasure. You must try this! You won't be disappointed with anything on the menu.
Sandra Price: Picked Cozy's Café for a reunion with friend from out of town a couple of weeks ago. Surprisingly, we easily found a table mid-morning on a Sunday, and stayed way past our welcome. The wait staff was super kind about it, the food was delicious, and the coffee was worth the trip. Thanks for not hurrying us out the door. You made our morning in so many ways.

Paul and Marie McCallion: This is a long review but trust us, folks its one for the books. My husband and I are retired professionals. We stopped at the Cozy for breakfast while passing through town.My husband let me off at the door while he parked. When I entered the owner was standing at the counter watching the front door. I waited for him to say a Good Morning or at least offer me a table but he just looked at me. As I was well dressed (heels, pressed jeans, cashmere sweater, down coat etc ) I hardly looked homeless so I was baffled at this. I finally said I wanted a table for two and he flipped his hand and mumbled something about sitting where I liked. Not a great start. My husband came in and he came over to the table. Still no Good Morning, he just stood pen in hand. Hubby ordered a full breakfast and I just wanted coffee. He made it very clear with a scowl and a pointed pause that he didn’t like me ordering coffee only.My husband’s breakfast arrived wrong with whole grain toast instead of the white he ordered but we let that go. Eventually I wanted another coffee which was not offered so my husband got up to ask. What happened next was so bad it was comical.Another server wearing a mask came over with the carafe and made a big show of emptying drippings into my cup. He then took his time removing the lid of the carafe, and literally shaking it upside down as a few final drippings went into my cup. He then walked away without a word leaving my cup about a third full. Eventually he returned and filled the cup but the ‘drippings’ were cold by then.No one came over to ask if the meal was okay until a waitress arrived with the cheque which we hadn’t asked for. Obviously we left no tip, paid and left. This is where things got surreal. We were in our vehicle about to drive away when the owner came flying out the door, across the lot to our window and began screaming and ranting at us because we didn’t leave a tip. Yes, folks, this really happened. He was livid, stabbing at us with his finger, insulting us and complaining that the price of coffee is high. My husband tried to tell him why we didn’t leave a tip and he wouldn’t let us talk. He kept ranting and yelling at our window. He also mentioned that the server with the mask was ill (glad to hear he has a sick person serving food).I want to mention that we always tip when it is deserved but only a fool would have rewarded the behaviour we received at this place. I see now why there are so many bad reviews at this place.
Mary Sue Grossman: The name is perfect for this eatery. Cozy, quiet, good service and food. Lovely locally owned business.
