219 816: Shawn and Val are great had no problems at all. Video and Shawn shows you exactly what you need to pass your cdl. If you pay attention you will not have a problem. Thank you Shawn and Val.
Joe Keys: I took the week long course expecting to receive training for driving. I got 4 days of going over the pretrip spread out across 2 months and maybe 1 hour to practice driving the truck. My test was then canceled due to snow. I asked for a partial refund of $2000 but was denied after paying $3200. Do not use this "business" for more than renting the truck. Anything else is a scam at best and a waste of time for anything else.
Cruz Ruiz: They explained everything very well. English is my second language and I sometimes struggle understanding things so If I could understand and learn what they were teaching me anyone can. Shawn explains everything very well and as long as you pay attention you will get it. I had no prior knowledge but Shawn did a good job explaining i was able to pass my test. paul bray: Unprofessional and not very eager to teach. If you have no experience, save yourself the money. You better know how to drive a 10 speed because they are not going to make sure you do before they take your money.

Cedella Davis: I had such a hard time finding a teacher who made me feel like a more confident driver. Within 3 lessons I’ve learned the basics and gone from someone who was very anxious and scared to drive to being finally being comfortable and it was all because of my awesome instructor Jade. She was very kind and made the whole process a lot easier and I recommend this program for beginning drivers. Super grateful to finally have my license. Thanks Jade!!

RN: I highly recommend this place unless you have absolutely no experience. So if you've never driven a manual this is not the place for you: and not because Mr Rib couldn't teach you, but because you'll ruin their clutch.But seriously if you need your hand held maybe go somewhere else. But if you have a good grip on what a truck is then you should be fine.Former CDL holders or those that drove in the military the 1 day or the week is for you. Everyone else should do the 2 week to 4 week course

Gage Ely: If you are trying to get a class a CDL with air brakes and you don’t have experience driving DO NOT take the one day course, you will waste $700 like I did. The truck they use is a 10 speed manual and you won’t figure it out in the one day course with double clutching. When you call and ask they will tell you that you can do it, but you will only get 5 mins of drive time around the block to prepare for your 30 min road test.Instead study the pretrip inspection and air brake test on YouTube a couple weeks before and then take the 1 day course at Don’s towing in Sedalia. They have a 6 speed manual you will be able to pick it up fast and still get the manual endorsement. You also get to drive the same course that you are tested on in the road test.

Elisaa Martinezz: I loved my experience at Roadmaster in Kansas City! The school manager Billy is amazing at what he does and is involved with his students and their success. The instructors Tom and Bruno are amazing at what they do and will make sure you get your CDL. Would recommend this school to anyone that wants to get their CDL!

They only have automatics, so having that restriction on my license is really holding me back with some career choices I’d like to make, so you’re paying MORE to have LESS career options.

Nhan Tran: Friendly staffs/instructors. Great atmosphere to be. Alway willing to listen and help. Alway ready to do 1vs1 instructing to whom that need more attention. Great instructing and great skilled instructors. Got my 180hrs n dmv appointment sets. Did a one and done at the dmv ( passed ). Instructors will give all their tips and tricks from years of experience, and some of their great story from their OTR experiences. Alway a blast and super fun experience with great laughter’s. If you are willing to learn and committed to be a truck driver, they will get you there. If their is a will there is a way. Trust their process!! Listen to what they have to say, and you will not waste a minutes of your time and passed your test at the DMV like me with a one and done ( first try passed )!!!.
Chrissy Smith: I learned so much and enjoyed my time!! All instructors were very helpful and honestly care for their students future in driving. They know everyone learns differently and they will make sure you are getting the skills down as you need them and ensuring you understand the steps as you go along. I was 100% new to truck driving and knew nothing about it, after my 4 weeks of training, I went to the DMV prepared and passed my tests on the first try!!
Guillo Suarez: Martha, brunno, tom and josh. Were outstanding instructers. Very patient and very helpfull and willing to give you one on one attention if you need it.. i was a little worried at first but payed attention and studied, "Alot" if you do that everybody who goes threw this school will pass... its not easy but can be done . Study and pay attention even when someone else is in the truck. UltimateRiceWater Challenge: I had Frances as a driver. I am an adult learner & had pretty solid driving experience but I was not confident. Driving with her has my confidence! Passed my driving exam after only two classes. There were two of her other students there and I believe the both passed as well! A little pricey but very helpful

MarLa S.: My son used this place for driving lessons and after 3 lessons the instructor man gave him a certificate. I took my son in my car to see that he had learned to drive, but he was nowhere near ready to take the drivers exam. It was like he didn't learn anything and was thinking too long about which way to turn the steering wheel. They do not take the learners to take the drivers test, which is ridiculous, because there are schools that do and charge less money. This school charged $250 cash per lesson and my son is not ready to be on the roads with other drivers. I had to contact A1 driver school to get my son proper instruction and A1 takes their learners to the driver exam. This place ripped my son off.6/11/23 response to Kyle (owner) Yes it was your school. You picked him up outside my home and your name is on the certificate. I also have a pic of the car with your "Blue Dprings Lee's Summit" Writing on the side of the car. My inquiry about my daughter years ago has zero to do with my son. My daughter did not end up using your services. My son contacted you through his phone.

Bobbi White: Teaching my second child was so much different than the first. My son Austin actually enjoyed the lessons with Kyle and listened. He practiced on the things Kyle said he needed work on and took a additional lesson with Kyle to see if there was anything he needed to focus on before he took the test. Needless to say Austin took his test today and passed the first time. I highly recommend anyone to that needs lessons to go through Kyle. He has so much patience. I will be recommending him to family and friends. Plus the certificate you get at the end gives you a discount on your insurance.
