I was just told by the cashier quote "why would I know where that item is, I'm the cashier! I have no clue about any of these items in this place!" Several items that I was purchasing didn't have tags on them but they were only 10 ft away so he threw himself a little tantrum because he had to walk over and get the price off of the stand. The whole time he was shaking and mumbling to himself! Because he was so discombobulated. I asked him to go through the items with me to make sure that he rang them up properly and found that he had run up one item three times the item was a $15.99 item. He was very put out that I had him do that but had I not I would have gotten home and realized that I paid triple for one of the items! Of course then he had to remove the items and pitched himself a little verbal fit about that.Better employees that's really the secret to having more successful business.

John A.: The store was the same as most other Harbor freight stores, it's an evil candy store for people who like working on things.The really negative of this store, don't stand around insulting previous customers where everyone can hear you. Some old guy was checking out before me and was mistaken on a price so he went back to the shelf himself real fast to check because the clerk wouldn't check when he thought the item was priced wrong on the shelf. He was mistaken and still bought the thing in the end without any fuss. When he walked out the clerk insulted him to another clerk 30 feet away while I was still checking out. The second clerk then insulted the one helping me because he went to the back himself to help look for an item. That behavior is exceptionally rude, I get it sometimes you might have a bad day, and retail can be tough, but seriously that was two separate staff members openly insulting both customers and other staff right in front of other customers.

Vickie Bruner: A year ago, April of 2022 myself & a neighbor used Bucks & went good. Fall of 2022 thru Feb of 2023 it was difficult at best! He wouldn't return calls, wouldn't keep an appt once he did call & NO call w/reschedule or explanation! Recently started mowing this spring & tractor did fine first couple Mow's then wouldn't start! When he worked on it last fall he supposedly put new battery in it which we took at his word, however when it would not start we took it to a store & they said it had been tested last December/2022! It was in fact not a new battery! I think he does good for first timers then snowballs ya! I don't & can't recommend this place.

Another Mike: Summary: Prices are okay if he actually fixed things. He is not reliable though and below is what you can expect. Go to a real business that has hours they stand by and at least one employee.Went to Buck/Brian based on Google reviews. Brought one saw in and said no hurry, don't need it for weeks. When he said it was ready and I told him on Thursday I'd be there at around 1430 on Friday. He replied with the total. Friday I messaged him I'd be there in 20 minutes @ about 1400. I sat around for 20 minutes trying to contact him but no luck. I had to go to work and take a leak so knocked on the front door and some nice guy found my saw. I left another saw with him, this was 10/28/22. I trusted the first saw worked, my bad. I messaged him on 11/04, 11/05/ with no response. On the 6th, at 1430, he said come pick it up, I asked when, he said 1800. I go do some stuff and he calls wanting me to pick it up a half hour early. I drop what I am doing to try and get there. On 11/20 I go to use the saws and one will not start, the other idles insanely fast, has little power on the top-end and the rubber boot for the carb adjustment screws is missing (I picked the saw up in the dark from Brian). I message him on 11/20 and on 11/25 he responds after several attempts. On the 26th at 2351 hours he tells me to drop by with the saws between 1100-1400 but to give him a more narrow window. I get the message in the morning and said I could and would be between 1245 and 1300. I messaged him at 1239 I was there. At 1303 I still hadn't heard from him and left never to return.

I called to get an idea of cost to fix my mower, and approx how long it would take to get it back once fixed. Unlike the 2 other small engine shops I called, Buck was willing to let me tell him what was going on with my mower, and he gave me an estimate and quoted me a turn around time if I brought it in to him today, so I did just that . I got my mower back 2 days earlier than I was quoted, it runs like new and he charged me exactly what I was told on initial phone call. I would highly recommend Bucks and I will be back in the future

Robert Langkamp: Had a Troy Bilt zero turn mower that hadn't been serviced for 3 years. Took it to Buck's for oil change, new blades, new filters and a new belt. It was ready for pickup as promised and it looked and performed like new. Brian was very knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. I would highly recommend Buck's and will definitely be using this place for all my mower needs in the future.

D L: They charged me over $400.00 up front for a basic lawnmower engine tune up. They kept my mower for weeks with zero contact and when I called to check on it, I was given the run around. I went up to see what was taking so long and what should have been a simple tune up turned into SEVERAL UNAUTHORIZED "repairs" and I was charged over 200 more before I could take it home, where it is completely useless.You should not have to front the money for ANYONE to get the parts that they should have had on hand. Bad business practices.BEWARE THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY!
