Henley Aquatic Center: what do users think?
Lisa Peterson: Great swimming lessons for kids
Victor Villarreal Jr: Great value and accessibility. Call before going to ensure it's open.
Haley McMurray: Amazing place ever
Kevin Huynh: Good place to swim, and clean pool!
Hailey M: Really great place to swim! And it's really affordable! The only thing that sucks is there's been quite a few times we went all the way there when they were supposed to be open and they were closed for some random reason or another. We've had to start calling ahead to make sure they're open. Other than that it's a great, clean indoor pool.
shannon cantrell: Love it
leverage 2018: Really relaxing place to swim but showers need fixed only one works and only runs cold water
gail hodges (Mustang): Clean and friendly service
rhonda statham: Always clean and friendly.
Joseph Lewellen: Great bleachers lots of room for spectators.
CrocK: Pool is improved and staff is fairly nice, good place to take kids and feels much safer than usual.
annette pyle: Never knew you could rent for birthday party or swimming.
Janet Grado: WYer is cold but other then that GREAT POOL and fun for all.
Rachel: Great place to get your swim on with lots of room usually to do this or you can pick a lane and swim in it. The shallow end sometimes is crowded with lots of children that can't swim in the deep end. Sometimes too much pda. It's a family place. I've seen people get in trouble for this. Overall good place! They have a heated seat area in the shallow end. That's very relaxing 😎
Dust in the couch: A good place to swim. Big pool that is heated (although they need to turn up the heat.) Good prices and friendly staff.
Catherine Gitlin: Always love going to Henley I work for the independence school district with their before and after school program and we swim there every week during the summer always a fun experience for me and the kids
Keirra Penson: Love!!! Love!!!! Love!!! This place friendly peaceful
Jeremy Leary: Its summer. Its busy. Polite staff
T Vogel: Good pool, not too many chemicals and a lifeguard that actually pays attention.
StarFighters76: Went to Bridger from when it was a patch of grass, to breaking ground, to it being built and open to the public. Loved this pool always, and even better it being indoor. Now if they would just keep the hot tub part warm more often!
lisa wolf: Old school. Love this place!!I wish they would update hours more than 15 minutes from time. We are 45 minutes away and have been turned away from updated hours many times.

Emler Swim School of Kansas City - Westwood: what do users think?
Raven Pinkii Black: I can not say enough nice things about this swim school. The teachers are amazing.Highly recommend Ms Victory!!!
Robert Randolph: My granddaughter looks forward to her weekly swim class with Sophie who is an excellent swim instructor. Zoe's progress has been remarkable. Thank you Sophie
Biaggio Niosi-Ortiz: We love Emler! The staff is very well trained, and they run a well organized and friendly operation. The goals and benchmarks are always clear, with regular updates provided. We have liked all of our instructors, and our child has steadily progressed in skill and confidence. I highly recommend them!
Monica Harrell: I've been really pleased with the teachers and staff at Emler. Anjel, especially, has been a great match for my son. We've tried a few other activities where the instructors aren't very good with kids or don't have enough time/knowledge to help a shy kiddo warm up. Anjel does an amazing job helping my son warm up when he's nervous. She balances giving him new challenges while not pushing him too far outside his comfort zone. We love to hear him say that he's proud of himself after swimming lessons!
Gwen Hoefer: We love Emler! The teachers are great, especially Anita! The facility is clean, and my son loves coming to swim!
Rhae Burt: Emler has been great for our daughter. It’s amazing to see her progress and she looks forward to swim lessons every week. Victory is wonderful with her and she adores her, too!
Kara Miles: We love our swim classes with Ms. Victory! We’ve been going since our daughter was 6 months & now at 8 months we’ve seen her confidence blossom while being in the water. So much fun!
Turner-Maria Martinez-Collins: Ariana has truly blossomed in her class with Mrs. Anita. She is now holding her breath under water while trying to swim from the edge of the pool to the platform. Prior to Emler, Ariana did not want to go to swimming lessons anymore because she was being forced to jump in the water. Mrs. Anita at Emler is kind, fun and has taken her time with her. Her approach with Ariana has allowed Ariana to grow her skills and comfort in the water significantly. We are so happy we switched to Emler!
Ashleigh Slover: We love taking classes at Emler-Westwood! The staff is so kind and courteous. The space is lovely and clean. We take classes with Ms. Brityn who is an absolute gem. My daughter loves and most importantly trusts her!
Victoria Gargon: Our Son absolutely loves Elmer! He was timid at first but the staff was so friendly and got him swimming in no time. He loves his teacher (Mr.Paul) so much, he talks about him everyday! Can’t recommend them enough!
Anastashia Cheadle: Victory is the BEST!! She’s so sweet and you can tell she truly loves her job teaching the babies to swim!!
Michelle Beasley: My son has always been afraid of the water and now he can’t wait to go to his class. He is in preschool and says his coach, Ethan, changed his life! We are so grateful for our positive experience at Emler
Jordan Holt: We attend swim lessons for two boys and they absolutely love when it's swim night! They are progressing so rapidly due to their understanding of the basics! Highly Recommend!
Olivia McNair: Kids have had great instructors—after a couple private lessons elsewhere with kids not being willing to get in the water or go under, the instructors here pushed them in a way that was effective and they both could swim pretty much right away. Cory, Brandon, Paul and Lauren have been great!
K. S. (WannaBGourmande): What a great place! I cannot believe it took me so long to get here. The instructor that I had was so kind and so patient and guided us through absolutely everything. I'm absolutely floored by my baby's progress in the pool; he went from constant scream-crying to laughing and splashing. I cannot recommend this place enough!
Stephanie Sumulong: I have an older child with a disability and set him up with private lessons last summer after doing an intro lesson/assessment. They assigned us to an instructor who only worked with him for 2 of the lessons. She was perennially late, cut the lesson short both times due to her having a class right after his lesson, and never made any true connection with him. We were never told if he would have substitute (which he did twice). Once when we came for our lesson the building was completely locked and another parent and I stood outside for close to 15 minutes waiting from them to let us in for our lesson, calling to check in and see if lessons had been cancelled because no one contacted us. Now maybe this place is great for little kids under 6, but they say on their website that they are for everyone, but we didn't feel that. It was the most overpriced waste of time and I would not recommend this swim school to anyone who values their time and consistency for their child.
Cindy Palomo: Our daughter loves the water and we thought swim lessons would be so easy for her. We quickly realized that she was extremely afraid of being in a pool. The number of tears and the amount of fear she had after her first group class could have filled that pool. Coach Annie and the rest of the team were super encouraging and reassured us that this was normal and that it may take a few classes for it to click for her. It didn’t.😉 We learned that she did better with 1-on-1 lessons so we went that route. Our daughter needed to trust Coach Annie and build her confidence, and Coach Annie has worked as slowly as was needed to build that sense of safety. Our daughter is now able to be in the pool with her floaties and can even do her classes with other instructors. Westwood Emler has been so patient with knowing her needs and adjusting their styles to help her be more confident. She’s taken a long time to get where she is and they understand that that’s okay. Our daughter used leave class sobbing and now she’s smiling and giggling. Their on-going support is noticed and very much appreciated. She’s taken small steps to get where she is but those tiny mountains make this little girl so proud of herself. One day she’ll move them!Thank you Westwood Emler!
Mary Spencer: We have only been at Emler for a few weeks but have been amazed how well my very shy and timid 4 year has responded. Miss Annie has been so sweet and patient. She does a great job making the kids feel comfortable. They have fun but are still learning. We love the small class sizes and all the time options so we could find a time that worked with our schedule. It has been so fun to watch! Would recommend!
Dacia Ayers: We love Emler!! They have done amazing with my son with teaching him how to swim and feel comfortable in the pool. He started out rough but now he can’t wait for swim lessons each week!!
Sarah Jabbour: Wonderful staff and lessons! The staff was super helpful and gave great feedback for my kids. My kids love going every week!
Savannah Northcraft: The instructors here are so sweet!

Emler Swim School of Kansas City-Leawood: what do users think?
Erica Dailey: Emler’s came highly recommended to us and has not disappointed. Our daughter has loved her lessons and it is fun watching her growth in and around water!
Krishawn Goodwin: This swim school is phenomenal! The teachers are so accommodating and provide great feedback and tips to continue improving at home. Jordan and her team are wonderful and help find class times that align to support both my 3 and 5 year old simultaneously. Thanks to the teachers Michael, Truly, Marissa, Lida, Kaitlin, and Victoria for taking my girls from being afraid of being splashed to swimming underwater for over 10 seconds and teaching them how to safely get out of the pool.
Gillian Ruddy Wilcox: Our kids have been going to Emler since they were babies and we are so thankful for the skills they have learned. We know they are safe in the water because of the lessons they've had here.
Molly Olander: Our 2 year old has been taking swim lessons at Emler for a year now and has absolutely loved it, he looks forward to his class every week! We are thrilled that because of Emler he is so comfortable in the water and learning how to safely swim. We can't say enough how much we have loved his instructor, Cayce G- she is great!
Ariel Mueller: We have loved Marissa and the classes my son has taken with her so far. The curriculum is fantastic in helping the children progress gently and at their own pace while continually making progress and achieving the goals for each level. I’ve been very impressed with my sons progress in learning to maneuver safely in the water.
Emily Craig: My son has been attending Emler since he was 20 months old. He started off being terrified of the water and now is such a little fish. He loves going to swim school and I’m so grateful he is learning water safety.
Stacey Wright: The staff is so friendly at this location! We are always greeted and they are happy to answer questions at any time. My daughter has been swimming with Emler for almost four years and she has grown leaps and bounds through the instruction she receives. We are so grateful that she has learned water safety and also has found a true love of swimming.
Tiffany Riggs: Both of my kiddos have been through Emler’s in Leawood and the experience has been wonderful!
JMB TVM: My kid enjoys swimming in Emler, Leawood. Staff are so friendly..
Diane DeLaTorre: I have been taking my kids to Emler for a few years now and we love it! It has small class sizes, a clean environment, the instructors have been fantastic... specifically Erin. She has gone above and beyond to help my youngest (started at 3 years old, now 4 years old) get over his fear of water. She has been patient with him, works on his level, pushes his limits but knows when its too much, and is just a great teacher. I highly recommend Emler!
Sarah DeBray: Enrolled for a second semester and it’s well worth the price. Elmers has made a huge difference for my son; it’s significantly increased his confidence in the water. The teachers are kind, motivating and thorough throughout each lesson.
K K: Our three kids have been with Emler since March and they have each grown not only in their comfort levels but amazing skill levels as well. Emler and particularly the staff makes this place so wonderful.
Marshall Douthat: Staff and swim instructors are great at the Leawood location!
Aruna Yaganti: Good training
Kassidy Roy: My daughter and I recently started swim lessons at Emler and we both love it! I thought it would be a good activity for my 11 month old baby and an opportunity to expose her to the water. I had no idea she would learn as much as she has in just 6 weeks. She has grown to feel very comfortable in the water and has developed many survival skills should a water accident ever occur.
Diana Harlow: We've had a positive experience here. My daughter loves going to swim school every week!
Megan McCord: We have been swimming with Emler for the past six years. We started when my oldest daughter was two months old with their bathtime babies class and have worked our way all the way up. I cannot suggest them enough. It’s truly through their method and they’re amazing teachers that my six-year-old is able to swim as well as she is.
Wendy Wolfe: Emler has been such a great experience for us. Our son is learning so quickly and loving the water. Brityn is a wonderful instructor who is knowledgeable and patient. We have had a wonderful experience and definitely recommend it!
Lmarie Hills: Kind & professional staff- our kiddo has made great strides here. We had particularly positive experiences with instructors Blayne, Stephanie, and Ariana. Our sessions have brought about a huge improvement in both confidence & ability. Very pleased.
Jessica Fitzgerald: Amazing! Worth it!

Ava Mundy: Great price, clean water, great information
Bruce Baldwin: Very good instructors. The schedules for classes conflict from the handouts to what is online.
