Dan Swarts: There are so many great things I can say about Independence Surgical Clinic. Dr Smith and his team are wonderful. I went in for a large umbilical hernia repair and it went very smooth. I had almost no pain during recovery. From the initial visit to the last follow up appointment, everything was explained and any concerns were addressed. I hope I never need surgery again, but if I do, Dr. Smith's office will be my first call.

Nicole D. (Nicky D): My first visit is also my last. Aside from sitting in the examine room for 40 minutes, the coldness of Dr. Smith was definitely a turn off. He seemed annoyed that he had to see me as a patient at the end of the day and I felt that negative energy. It also seemed rushed. After my visit I had to call the office over and over because they were supposed to call me back for CT scans they ordered and they never did. It was exhausting just dealing with that entire office staff and feeling like I am annoying them because I was just following up. Many others may have had a better experience, but mine was negative and left me feeling bad about myself and that the reason I went there to begin with was stupid. I feel like they need to treat everyone equally no matter what their eyes see.
Chuck Dye: Dr.Smith and his staff we’re always professional and friendly. I believe that he went the extra mile when he perform the surgery on me. My surgery was supposed to be about three hours and it turned into 7 1/2 hours. No complaints from Dr Smith at all. He just hung in there and did what he had to do to take of my needs. He had to perform two other surgeries on me as well. All three surgeries went well. I feel like Dr. Smith has a personal connection with his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Smith and his staff.
Debbie Lynn: Dr. Beahm is my Breast surgeon at Centerpoint.I absolutely love Dr. Beahm. She is very informative and understanding about my health and procedures.I had Double Mastectomy on 3/4/20, I'm very pleased with the outcome. I'm so thankful that Dr Beahm is making me better and going on with my healing.I recommend Dr Beahm for any surgery she's very good at what she does
Greg Addison: I had two surgeries in one calendar year and both went quite well. Dr. Smith listens well and doesn’t take unnecessary risk. I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a good general surgeon.

Dawn Ridout: I am so happy I chose to come here. I had Naomi for my pre-op and Penny for my post-op care. The were both fantastic! They were very attentive! Penny went as far to make sure I was pain free before leaving, she had the anesthesiologist come back to redo my block since the 1st one (before surgery) didn't work. The anesthesiologist was great and came back to redo the block...he felt horrible thar it didn't work the first time. This place was awesome!

Ken Hupp: I had previously gave CAS a bad rating for a billing issue and not returning my messages. Well, someone got wind of the bad review and called me to help rectify the situation. They then processed,the bill correctly. The health care system in general is not my favorite and I am sure I was reflecting my anxiety with health care in general in my previous review. They made it right 4 stars for billing 5 stars of course for the wonderful nurses.
Patricia Benavides: I should give them 0 starts. I have scheduled an appointment for a procedure, one day before I received a phone call stating that I need to bring with me $ 830.00 to pay for it, I told the person that I can't pay the full amount, I said maybe a percentage and I will send the remaining balance later on. I was suggested to apply for a Credit Card and if the application is rejected I can pay 25% in front. That's is very sad. My insurance will pay the majority of the procedure. Why they don't show some sympathy for someone who needs help. I ended up canceling my appointment, hopefully my problem won't get worse until I find a different way to have it done. I have gone to different hospitals and they never ask for big amounts of money, very disappointed.
A Wolfe: I've had multiple surgical procedures over the past 12 months, but this was my first time at Centerpoint and with Dr. Shaw. I am so thankful for each person I met during this process. Every single person listened to me, which was evident in the specific questions they asked. Most of my experiences at other places have not been this way.From check in to check out, each person I encountered remained professional, yet were very compassionate and great at their job. I can't thank them enough for how they treated and cared for me.I would feel confident recommending Dr Shaw and the team I had at Centerpoint Ambulatory Surgery Center today. Thank you again.
J C: My experience with Centerpoint ambulatory surgery center was excellent.From check in to post op the staff was awesome. Nurses were outstanding,professional and caring they explained everything clearly, performed double checks and made sure I was comfortable.I would definitely come back.
Scott Tidd: I have now had 8 surgeries and a colonoscopy done at Centerpoint.I think they did great every time!Very friendly and I was at ease each time.I also had great outcomes with no post surgical complications.
Lauren Cunningham: Should be zero stars. Had to go to this surgery center instead of our normal one because it was a last minute surgery and this was the only available location for the doctor group. They told us last minute that there would be an $1,100 surgery center fee that was separate from our insurance, had nothing to do with the surgery cost itself. Horrible way to pray on those who are vulnerable. We refused the surgery. Other surgery centers I have been to have never asked for money like that. This should be illegal.

Doug B: This was place is top notch. All the nurses that took care of me were competent, professional, and super friendly. The anesthesiologists were great. Everyone seemed to be getting along well which made it less stressful for me. Dr Hummel is the best. So yeah, 5 stars!!
Tedina Mayfield: I would give this surgery center zero stars. Had a procedure scheduled for approximately 3 wks, when I arrived I was told my procedure had been canceled and when I ask by who I was told she didn't know. The Dr's nurse said it was canceled by the surgery center. They should have called me and let me know.

Lizette Gilmore: Dr. Beahm is amazing! She made me feel very comfortable before my bilateral mastectomy and answered all of my questions. My out of town family who came for the day of my surgery even commented on how nice and thorough she was when explaining her part of my procedure.

Chuck: Retina specialist and he is a medical doctor as well. There are not that many of them around. He came more than highly recommended. This retina specialist doctor came highly dedicated. He worked me in and my surgery is done at 9:30 p.m. . He had a busy schedule completely full. But you cannot wait for certain items you have to have it done immediately hear it so if you ever see what it looks like a black shade coming over one of your eyes you better call him. I drove several hours to get to him. I rode with somebody else actually . I'm at other people there he drove maybe not as far as me but even three and four hours just to get to him. And one man he was there and he was trying to have surgeries to fix with the other doctor at another place messed up Eric always started out like me but he went to the wrong doctor. The whole staff magnificent! My first surgery was around 6:00 in the morning. Then I had to have a follow-up and that was 9:30 at night when I was recuperating. And still another one but it can wait for a little while. So this retina detachment is not something to mess around with and often takes multiple surgeries. I will tell you it is not the most comfortable thing to be doing especially when you're conscious. But they got the job done. Now don't want to go through this again with my other eye but this is more common than people realize. If they need a rose I would go back again to the same doctor. They have other specialist as well.

LovelyB: My rating is base on the place as a whole! My appt was at 2:30 I arrived at 2:20 checked in and was told to have a seat. 2 minutes later they called my name but again they needed my insurance no biggie I handed over my information. It is now 3:00 and I’m sitting in the waiting room waiting............ 40 minutes later I’m still waiting which is ridiculous. This is will be my last time using there service!!! It’s called being on time for a reason.

Dr. Dawson was my optometrist and Stephanie was super patient with me, a 30 year old, learning to put contacts in. These members of the staff stuck out to me and seem to want to make the world more visible! Thanks you guys!
