Grass Pad: what do users think?
Karly Taylor: Love this place. Helpful staff and beautiful flowers!
Joey Park: Great place
Daniel Jensen: Very easy to use, great customer service, nice setup!
Tori Snowden: Very knowledgeable and helpful staff!
Stephony Hoppe: Great prices and 6 packs of zinnias and gazanias. Helpful and friendly staff.
Clyde Bolton: I re-sodded my lawn, working with Grass Pad staff too make it happen. Got great advice and availability for added questions, products purchased worked great, and two years later I still have the best looking lawn in my neighborhood. They are busy, so a little patience is need to get their help, but that's a good thing. They know their business.
Claudia Gover: I appreciate the work the loaders do. I drive a smaller car, but they manage to get 4 big bags of soil into it. And they've never made me feel bad about it. I've done this twice. The people inside are also very pleasant. They go above and beyond answering my questions. I'm so glad they're one of my local gardening stores. Great job y'all!!!
Clinton Brotherton: My fiance and I were in at the Grass pad on Barry road this past Sunday. The lady ringing us up at the counter was an absolute WRETCH. Rude, disrespectful, and very confrontational. Immediately SCOLDED us with an angry voice and scowl that we should of gotten a ticket from the people in the yard, however, we never received any help while picking out or plants. It only went downhill from there. I would at all costs avoid the Grass Pad at this location. I will be using Social Media to post similar comments. Shame on you for having such employees interact with customers.
Jason Frank: It's a great nursery and a place to get lawn stuff and advice. Great prices and service.
Aaron Wilt: Great store, knowledgeable staff, would highly recommend,
Jennifer Driscoll (Jenn): Great place! Staff is always helpful and incredibly knowledgeable!
MJ Pratt: Here's to hoping they can help me tame the Gorgons I found in a drain by my house that I mistakenly thought were kittens.
Ray Williams: Great customer service and they had awesome seed! I highly recommend their macho mix for a cool season grass!
Paul H Dobbie (ph2): Friendly and knowledgable
Mark Fulbright: Employees need to understand why policies are in place. To protect you from losing product; not to prevent a sale. I need an entire pallet of sod but only have a 1/2 ton truck so I can only transport half a pallet. I can only come back today to get the other half. I wasted 2 hours to come get sod that you will not sell me because I am limited in transporting it. If I could have bought what I needed it would have been on me to return and get it. I cannot buy half of what I need and hope there is more when I return the drive is too far. So I cannot do my project at all because your employees do not know when they can step outside policy to help a customer.
Jon L: I use their heat wave seed blend, idiot proof lawn program and most importantly their helpful/friendly knowledge. Good folks!
Paul Beller: The Humic
Matthew Rasinski: Have always been very informative with my questions. My yard has looked better since I switched from the big box brand.
Seth Wilson: Very helpful staff that answered my questions and gave me more to think about.
Chris Kelley: Always great customer service and knowledge to help my yard grow
Isabella R: Best deals in town

Grass Pad: what do users think?
Zachary O'Keefe: Grass Pad is always easy to understand and everyone there is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Their sign outside by the road helps me know when it is time to the next steps for my yard
Deanna Schave: Always very helpful just have to ask 🙂
Stephen Person: Helpful with great selection
Stacie Ferrell: I’ve wanted to go here for years after always hearing the commercials! They were so helpful and friendly and made our experience very pleasurable!!! Will definitely go back next time we need yard items!!!
Michael Bennett: Expert advice about lawn, landscaping and products to improve the final results.
Bob Shool: People are so helpful. They can explain about all the products they have. The staff is more than happy to help load your car. Thanks Grass Pad
JJ Follis: Customer service is not completely a lost art. Steve at the Lee's Summit store was very friendly, knowledgeable and helped the girlfriend for a good period of time, showing her flowers that would work with the design in her head. While I'm 200.00 broker, she's happy..And when she's happy (fill in the rest of the line)...Thanks Steve for a peaceful night. 😆
Cheyenne Lawson: This year is the first time that I've had to do the lawn care all by myself. I needed to repair/replace grass seed but was extremely nervous that I would spend a bunch of money & not have proof of your rough ride home.
portmith: They're high on grass. The kind that's in your yard.
Kimberly Stanfield: I’ve come here for the last 2 years and got the kit multiple times. For some reason my number, name, address isn’t in the system, they lost all my points and have to create a new profile and start all over. Today I spent 394 dollars for the spring 10 set up. I get home to work on the yard and put the prevent down and I have NO grass seed. I call to verify that I bought it and Richard said yes and I should have it. He wants me to drive over there again, I said no as it’s pretty far for me. I say I would be in Wednesday I guess. Very disappointing when you spend so much and the order is wrong.
Neil Daniels: Excellent, 1st time customer and they helped me get what I needed, just make sure to buy a spreader from them and bring yard measurements with you.
john H: People are friendly here
geo marzolf: These guys know plants , fertilizer and seeds. Always helpful and have plenty in-stock. Not the cheapest in town but will be quality product. Great job guys
Julianne Wilson: Rob was super-helpful and very knowledgeable.
Josh Thuenemann: No idea if all of their products are actually better, but if you have a weird bug or fungus on your plant, these guys are the ones to see. Guy took 5 sec and figured out what was wrong with my landscaping. Top notch
Jessica Griffin: Frances was so kind! Loved working with her to choose flowers
No Comment: Real good place to purchase horticulture products. Friendly and knowledgeable.
Kamalei Seeley: Let me start off my saying I have never in my life been spoken to in such a disrespectful way. I went in to buy seed, fertilizer, and lime for around an acre of yard. The first guy I spoke to was super rude. I asked if I needed a mask inside since I left mine at work. Never turning around to face me he said yeah, we're in Jackson county. I said ok, I need, and he cut me off and said they had them inside for you. They didn't, so I proceeded to the grass counter. The guy coming off break helped me. When I told him what we last used on the yard he responded with the rudest sigh and said he wouldn't even use that in his horse pasture. I asked what he would recommend and he said he wouldn't. I said ok do you have something comparable to a blue, and he said he didn't carry fescue. Even though behind him there was a clear price guide for fescue. I told him I was sent to get a 50 lb. bag and asked what he would recommend and again he said I don't have any fescue here. Again. Not what I asked. I ended up walking out and came home empty handed to tell my husband exactly how I was treated and told him we would never go back there.
Angela Fosberg: We had such a wonderful experience at the Grass Pad. We’ve been dealing with some stubborn dandelions and went to them for help. Victor told us everything we needed to do to get tackle and prevent the issue in the future. Thank you so much for your assistance, Victor!
Rob Stitt: Friendly people working there! Not too big to help out and knowledgeable.
nancy lindsey: Hay or straw was $8 a bale.An a 40 lb bag of potting soil was $20.00. It's to steep for me. All there stuff is. I went to dollar tree got 2 hand shovels the little ones. Each one was $1.25 each. An grass pad they were $14.95 each exactly like the ones for $1.25 each. What makes potting soil in the exact same bag color an Weight, different from dollar tree verses grass pad.
