Lucas Wake: I had bought some new bindings from here. I told them the correct size of my boot, but they sold me the wrong size of binding. So when I went in to get them exchanged(mind you they are brand new). The gentleman that was helping me said he needed to get the owner for the exchange. When the owner came over to help me, I almost could not believe he was the manager of the establishment let alone the owner. He was irritated with me, for even being there it seemed like he was very rude and in the way he would speak to me. The bindings had nothing wrong with them. Simply wanted to exchange to get a correct size on a pair of bindings that one of his employees gave it to me in the wrong size. He said the only thing he would give me is 40% store credit for them (even though they are brand new). When I tried to be levelheaded about the situation. The owner became outraged and irritated with my presence so he left. The two employees beside me were shocked and apologized on his behalf, and simply said that they are is nothing they could do for me without his approval. All employees of this place are great.I’ve got a lot of friends in the snowboard industry, and I was gonna recommend to the shop after my first experience with them. But now I will never, and I mean never. Shop here again or recommend this place. To anyone who feels like being mistreated or paying $200 for a pair of bindings they can’t even use now that are brand new.

Linda Shields: Came into store to see if my (3) year old skis could be traded in/sold-I was never comfortable with them, (please note that I’d purchased this equipment from another local store). I waited for salesmen to get owner, in meantime a father & son came in inquiring about purchasing skis. I explained to owner nature of my request; went to car to retrieve skis, unfortunately, my business & time wasn’t as important as the (2) men; again let me emphasize the fact that I was the only customer in the store when I arrived. Waited awhile & determined I’d be there until the men were accommodated & educated on skis…the thought of being completely ignored for any more time was not acceptable. I’m an older female, I’m not sure the gentleman was an “owner” as his customer service skills were non existent. I was planning on purchasing new skis whether or not he wanted to possibly take on my skis-this was not a dealbreaker! Still a man’s world & for that I’m very disappointed & won’t be back for any further humiliation

Mark Calvert: I am embarrassed to say I didn't know about Sitzmark until a few weeks ago. I first went to a large, national store to find some new ski boots and equipment and sales person there actually told me to go to Sitmark!Pete helped me get fit with a great new pair of Solomon boots - I appreciated everyone's patience and helpfulness so that I could find the right equipment. I ended up getting some nice ski pants and a new helmet, too.Thanks, everyone for the great help. See you again soon.
Chris Stenger: I bought boots here 15-20 years ago and they were amazing boots, but everything has a life span and theirs was up. Even though it was late season coupled with the fact that I’ve got wide/long feet, I was able to walk in and pick up a pair of boots that fit about 90% of the way. Over the next few days, they added an insole since I’ve got higher than average arches and “punched” out the sides (one boot twice) so that the fit is 100%. Everyone was friendly and fellow avid skiers or snowboarders. They also had an awesome shop dog. I received the best service possible. Thanks!
Anthony Franze: Went in to get fitted for skis, poles...etc. Kris immediately greeted us and worked with us over an hour one on one getting everything we needed. Gave awesome tips and info. They are experts on boot/ski/binding fittings. Prices were fair. They even put bindings on slick skiis in an hour. We are coming back for all our ski servicing in the future! Thanks, Kris!

We were even able to score a trampoline during the pandemic while all other stores were out of stock. It's a bit of a drive for us for but this is the place we know will have what we need when local stores do not.

We moved here to KC MO from rural Arkansas and we’re adjusting to city life and really liking it. The folks at Erik’s were very helpful, as we walked into it totally uneducated. They hooked us up and at a good price according to what I’ve seen online. This will be our “go to” store as we dive into this new adventure in our mid 40’s 😂

Douglas Martinson: I brought my Aventon Pace 500 on Friday 2/17 to have a flat fixed. Bradley Raye was absolutely amazing to work with. He took his time to educate me on the bike and various tune ups the store could do for me. In the end I had him not only fix my tire that had been punctured but tune my breaks.I recommend Erik's bike shop to everyone I know as a result of the great service I got from Bradley and the team.

Mark Heer: The store was unexpectedly closed on sun/mon. We were leaving on trip Wednesday but due to snow storm in colorado needed to leave very early Tuesday before the store was opened. Bradly saved our trip and safety by coming to the store on Monday to get us our boards and made our trip. Service like this isn’t common today in the world and especially at national stores. This will keep me coming back to the Liberty Erik’s. Bradly deserves all the recognition for this and a model of what employees should be like in caring for their customers.

Les Bratton: Grat place to shop for outdoor gear and sporting goods.
Marcus Pratt: The for sale box of ammunition I wanted to purchase was not marked with the price, forcing me to buy a more expensive box that I really could not afford. It was only after I purchased my ammunition that a salesman put the correct price on the ammunition. When I brought this to their attention, they inform me that I would have to go up to the refund counter and go through the whole process of getting a refund and then purchasing the ammunition that was on sale! I felt that they could have easily avoided this by simply advising me of the sales price in the first place. Normally I have very good purchasing experiences with Bass pro, but this time I was a little inconvenienced with the purchase in this particular case.

Michael Woodard: Put a lot of trust in Dons advice. Really steered us down the wrong path for the fishing tournament. Out of hundreds of dollars in possibly the worst bass lures ever recommended. The fish absolutely hated the color schemes that don swore by. Kinda thinking he just made it all up.

Sara Beth Prideaux: If you are a woman who is looking for hiking gear and/or shoes do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The women's clothing section doesn't offer any real attire fit for doing any serious hiking yet the men's section does. I went to try on hiking boots and Bass Pro apparently does not cater to wide sized feet. Bass Pro definitely needs to step up their game.
Tim Smith: Check out was very slow. There was only one person ahead of me and it took 10 minutes to get through the line. The cashier seemed very interested in chatting with the lady ahead of me. The customer service area had 2 people standing around doing nothing. I understand customer service representatives are not allowed to take customers money for purchase. The credit card reader is an older slower version that keeps popping up messages to leave your card in the reader. These machines need to be updated.

Sara LaMastres: I have been visiting this Bass Pro since I was a child. I have many memories here and I'm glad I get to make memories with my children here too! My son and I visited the other day and he loves to see the animals. The store is always clean and well organized and the animals are obviously well taken care of! I just wish the restaurant was still open. The food was great and again, great memories there! Hopefully it comes back in the future!
