Marv W: Place used to be good for golf grips but now cannot even get that right
Mike Oneth: Knowledgeable when I asked about 1st soccer player on what they need.
Russ Heiple: Theeee Bessssst
Maria Scott: Very clean. Great selection of Chiefs super bowl gear! Friendly staff and several check out options. Thanks for a great experience!
Chris Chubick: They want an arm and a leg for chiefs merchandise right now and they were out of everything good. One of the basic T shirts was $44
Carl Wilder: The family wanted Kansas City Chiefs gear since the won the Super Bowl. This place was ready. They were open until midnight after the big game. And they opened early for more fans. Great staff.
Holly Morris: There is multiple things to choose from. It's nice to see there's something for everyone. The prices like other places are a little high. Whether you need bows, guns, ammo, golf, shoes, Sports clothing, bicycles and more. This is a good place to go for a nice quality. It is clean and organized.
Sandy Thierry: They have a lot of merchandise from many name brands. They also have bicycles. Very clean store.
Thewoodsmanphotographer (The Woodsman Photographer): Mostly a clothing store now. Walmart has more camping equipment.
Megan Laffoon: I ordered my daughter volleyball shoes online and when we got them they were not in new condition. I took them up to this store and everyone there was so kind and helpful. They immediately looked and saw the shoes were clearly used and the Manager was very quick to remedy the situation for us. It was not the hassel I imagined it would be. Will gladly continue to do business there! They did a fantastic job! Thank you so much!
Anri Kyrgyz: The place itself has a pleasant vibe want to come back again and again
Maria Garcia: Very Big!!! They have everything!
Russell Primeaux: Oh the mark-up

Mac Kettner: If you need it now and need quality, go here first.
T L: If you need it for a sport, this place has it. They've had everything we've needed for wrestling, football, soccer, and 5ks. We were even able to score a trampoline during the pandemic while all other stores were out of stock. It's a bit of a drive for us for but this is the place we know will have what we need when local stores do not.
Larry Zucca: Nice place with a wide variety of gear.
Roy Webb: Well stocked, plenty of employees to help. Black friday sale coming up!

Bar Down Sports Co: what do users think?
Autumn McDaris: Amazing place awesome workers
Marc Lechmann: Bought a pair of player skates from this shop, and brought in a pair of goalie skates to be baked. Not only did buddy bake the goalie skates FOR FREE, he make sure they were perfect and sharpened the skates afterwards for cheap. Really stand up guy, fun to talk with. Will be getting as much as I can from this shop! Here's hoping they can expand and open a goalie section!! I need a local goalie shop!!
Preston Goldsmith: Helped me find the perfect size for skates which pure hockey could not. Super helpful and nice when helping with other sizing
Haplo Splatshot: Quality service and products employees that care
Micah Robbins: Out of 30 years of being fitted for goalie equipment across Canada and the US, the most important piece is the skate. The Bar Down team takes the time to get proper fitting, adjustments, and gathers a true understanding for you as a player and the usage of the skate (in what capacity).Glad to have them in KC to assist all players and positions with correct fitting and sizing techniques/methods to ensure safety, comfortability, and performance are upheld.
Jeff DeJaynes: Every time I’ve been in the employees have been great. As a parent that never played hockey, it’s a bit overwhelming trying to find gear for my daughter. Every time we have needed anything the staff has taken the time to walk us through and get the gear she needs. I’m extremely grateful to have a knowledgeable and honest shop to help with her hockey needs.
Matt Hertz: The best hockey shop I've been to in 25 years. They know their stuff and really care and the person and the sport, not just selling stuff. The must go to for hand sharpening!
Ryan T. LEE: We were in town for a hockey tournament and my peewee son could barely skate because of ankle pain caused by his skate and this company had the equipment to fix the problem by reforming the actual skate boot. Incredible service. Strongly recommend!
Chris Perry: I just went here today because I'm starting up as a new hockey player. These guys are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The selection and quality name brands are great. I'm glad I didn't purchase anything off the internet because these guys were able to size me up on everything and my estimations for my sizes were way off. Their location is right off the highway, so easy to get to. These guys were really patient with all my questions and offered a ton of knowledge that I was definitely glad to learn.
JD Chambers: The staff here are personal, professional and fun. They help you get exactly what you need no matter how long it takes and do their best to give everyone an equal amount of attention. Good gear, great prices, even better staff.
eduardo pepe: Great services, great employees and goalie friendly. They will go above and beyond for you or your kid . Example look at these custom blades for my daughter.
Juanita Conradt: best hockey store around kansas
Alex Warren: Went to get fitted for skates. Tom took good care and fit me into the perfect skate. Cool area to try out sticks while you wait. Wish we had a place like this in my home town.
Clayton Allen: This place is what all shops should strive to be! I hung out with they guy (Wardo) running the shop and he is absolute artisan of his craft. He grinds the skates with great attention to detail. He loves what he does and to that measure, doesn't have to work a day in his life. This place is not about to just shove kit down your throat. They will help you make decisions based on experience levels and budget. Super happy I found this place and visit more on my trips to KC.
Ramsey Landry: Super friendly and knowledgable.
Brandon Sharp: I’ve stopped in a few times and Tom has always been super friendly and knowledgeable. They know their stuff and answer all my newbie questions.
Caitlin Long: These guys are awesome and the gear is superb! Dan and everyone else I've met are super helpful!
Andy Bazdarich: Best hockey shop I’ve ever been to. The manager Ben was super cool and extremely helpful. Fixed my skates which have been killing me for ages and no one else could correct. And really dialed in the sharpening too. You can tell Ben is an expert in skate tune ups. Great selection of gear and super knowledgeable staff. Looking forward to when the synthetic ice training area is complete next door!
James Gaddis: Bar Down is the best hockey shop. It’s so good we travel 2 hours just to visit the store. Thank again for everything.
Jules Forson: Amazing staff, great atmosphere! Dan was super knowledgeable and patient with all my questions.
C M: Sir, let me tell ya, your staff was awesome. I learned a ton about equipment fitting properly and maintaining. He kept my son interested and intertained and even put him at ease when my son got nervous about getting his skates heat molded to his foot. Afterward, we even got to have Gabe(my son) take his first shots on goal (With a real puck) in your practice area. Gabe, was super excited and we will definitely be back for sticks and pads and sharpening when the time comes. Thanks a ton.

Studio Skate Supply: what do users think?
Connor Norris: We had a good time, dog is cute. Employees are friendly as well. Store in there with clothing and boards. Also a tablet to play music. Overall a great time.
Evin Felix: My sons both love Studio. We found this indoor park a couple of months ago, and it has been awesome. My youngest goes to classes weekly & just finished up a 2-day camp. He usually goes to an outdoor park, and doesn’t get as much skating time in the winter. This park has been a godsend for him this winter. The owners & employees are all super nice & welcoming. I’m so thankful for this place, because I’m pretty sure it’s my son’s favorite place on Earth now. Highly recommend.
Mike Wolcott: Absolutely LOVE skating here! My son does skate school on Saturday with coaches and they are the best! Awesome family friendly environment!
mike mccarty: Loved the park. It was big enough to be able to create a decent line. The staff in the pro shop were very knowledgeable and friendly to interact with. Definitely going back more frequently. Its too cold outside.
John Fleshman: For a sidewalk surfer in his 60s, Studio has a variety of flow to it, knowledgeable, laidback and welcoming staff, good sound system, and a variety of skateboard items in their well stocked shop.Overall, I'll be flowing at Studio on the weekends more often than not. Rock and Roll Weston, Robert and Dylon...💯🇺🇲☯️ 🤙
Dale 32: We had a great time, was worth the 2 hour drive. The guys and gal were very helpful and knowledgeable. They got my some all set with new bearings. The 📐's are smooth and well spaced out. Very courteous and respectful skaters. Would highly recommend it for those starting or like myself a little rusty. Truth be told I was very rusty. 😆
Action Jackson & Mighty Max: It's great but if you're just watching your kid you might get really cold lol
Mariana Henry: My son loves skating here!
Trent Richardson: very friendly place, gets crowded sometimes but very nice.
Candace Fast: My 15 yr old loves this indoor skate park
Scott Burnett: Friendly staff and skaters are friendly as well. Daughter is learning and everyone was helpful and encouraging

Ron Fields: I took my son here for a lesson last weekend and he loved it! The guys that skate and teach here are incredibly good and a blast to watch. As well as learning some new things in his lesson, he left inspired and with a new complete board. 😃We will be returning, for sure.
frontsideflipem: Fun park and a pretty stacked skate shop. It’s worth checking out 🤘 there’s definitely enough room in here to have a good time.
Mason S: 10/10 park and environment
Kerry Lisondra: My 9 year old participates in lessons and just completed his first camp. He and I both highly recommend it. Weston and his crew are challenging, welcoming, supportive, and FUN. My son is making friends, learning new skills, and developing some serious persistence. The camp exceeded our expectations.
Nick: Really cool local skate scene with some chill locals/ staff.
Anita Reyna: I just want To Thank Weston for Rylans first experience at an indoor skate park!! He loved it so much!!
George Sabol: folks, face it--this is the only indoor skate park in the KC metro! AND they are not corporate--they are entrepreneurs, doing what they love. So, unless you enjoy skating in the freezing weather, or rain, show these guys some love and stop byand check it out.
John Sidwell: Great addition to Kansas City KS. Well built and maintained indoor skateboarding facility ran and managed by an insightful and well knowledgeable staff. Showed me all the features of the park, talked with me in detail about the (well stocked) equipment within the on-site pro shop. I really felt like I was accommodated. Bring your pads and your energy because there's a lot of fun to be had there.
Cuate Mayor: Nice place
