Nathaniel Richards: I knew very little about scuba diving except that I really wanted to learn how to do it. I went to exactly the right place. The staff is very knowledgeable and incredibly kind. I took the scuba course in the classroom and in the swimming pool. The instructor was excellent and I gained a lot of insight on how to dive and what to do in emergencies. I was able to not only purchase my basic scuba gear in the shop, but they also helped me purchased a diving computer, a BCD and a transmitter. I was able to test all the equipment in their pool afterwards.Their enthusiasm for scuba diving is contagious. I mentioned to Elaine that I was planing on going to Isla Mujeres to finish my certification. She recommended everything from the diving school, to golf cart rentals, restaurants, markets, and hotels. She, along with everyone else who works there, is very knowledgeable about the best places around the world to dive.Not only is Midwest Aquatics a great place to learn how to scuba dive, the atmosphere and the kindness of all the employees is above and beyond.Thanks!!

Leah Miller: I would NOT recommend this place AT ALL! As a fellow swim instructor I am extremely disappointed in the lack of curriculum. My child has had a different teacher each class and ALL of the staff has been extremely rude every single time we have attended. Total waste of money and time.

SALMA HKE: The male coach is bad. Not accommodating and expects children to know swimming already when they take lessons. Ironic for a swimming school. He is very impatient does constant eye rolling and expressively shows irritation on little kiddos

Hubble Hill (Hub): $160.00 to rent two tanks and weights for a week, wow, I could have bought my a tank and weights for 200 and had it filled for 7. I thought that was the deposit, what a rip off. I go to TD scuba it is 10 per tank and 10 for the weights, lesson learned won't be going back there for anything.

Scott Cameron: The instructors are great, but I have a problem with the format. They put new swimmers in the same group with advanced swimmers... my kid never got more than 5 minutes of instruction out of the 30 minute "lesson."If you can do individual lessons (here or somewhere else) you'll get more mileage, even if it's for only half the time.

Adriana Tobar: Wonderful place for the kids to learn to swim. Mrs Angie was our teacher and my three boys love her. We do not live in the area anymore, but we miss her kindness and the staff at Midwest Aquatics.

The last thing you want to do is put yourself in a situation where you don't have someone in the states for support, if things don't go well in Mexico. I hear stories all the time about how people try to make travel plans in Mexico without a travel agent, they get there and get taken advantage of, and have no one to call in the US for backup support. Tim Roth: Kelly Marchand saved my inept attempt to book a Spring Break Trip for my teenager. I contacted Kelly to help me with a shuttle to and from the airport and when I sent her my tickets, she realized that I had booked the WRONG DATES! Can you imagine if I had shown up at the airport the first day of Spring Break only to find my tickets were for the month before. Kelly worked tirelessly all afternoon to get my inaccurate tickets canceled and completely new flights booked. She worked her magic and got me a refund for my current flight, used part of that refund for tickets with that airline AND booked the other part with another airline. All the while keeping me with the same arrival and departure dates I needed for my nonrefundable resort stay. Think about it she was trying to book March flights in February!AND she was able to do it all within my budget! Hats off to Kelly! She was amazing to work with, a true wizard in the murky world of airline booking!
